Carmelo Hayes vs Axiom

The announcers kind of bury Melo and say he hasn't hung a jersey in the rafters lately. Ax snapmares and chinlocks him then Melo hammerlocks him. Ax reverses it then Melo trips him. Ax rolls him with the front facelock and Melo backs off.

Melo slaps him then back elbows him. Melo snapmares him but Ax cartwheels out. Ax armdrags him using the 2nd rope and dropkicks him. Ax misses a kick when Melo goes out. Ax then topes him. Melo stunners Ax over the top rope.

Melo 2nd rope twisting lariats him then unties Ax's mask. Melo drops him with a forearm for 2. Melo back elbows him then legdrops him for 2. Ax hits chops then he dropkicks Melo. Ax half-nelson suplexes him then PK's him for 2.

Melo la mistica drops him then Ax counters him with a grounded choke. Melo turns it into a pin attempt then pump kicks him. Ax superkicks him. Ax tries to kip up and is superkicked. Melo goes for the shaprshooter and talks trash. Ax slaps him and cradles him for 2. Ax then sharpshooters him and Melo ropebreaks. Ax is pushed into the ref. Melo pulls at Ax's mask then suplex lifts him into a cutter to win.

Thoughts: It was a nice little match here with Melo winning. I was surprised they did a ref spot on this show as they usually save that for bigger matches. The two matched up well as expected and moved well here.

Grayson Waller vs Akira Tozawa

GW deserves so much better than this, but at least the match will be fine. Akira comes out alone. GW is in the best shape he has ever been in.

GW throws Akira off the lock up. GW waistlock takedowns him and paintbrushes him in the back of the head. GW side headlocks him. Akira trips him, paintbrushes him then does GW's taunt.

GW hits forearms. Akira 2nd rope diving headscissors him then dropkicks him out. Akira goes out, GW gets in, slides out and lariats him. We go to break and return.

GW hits downward elbows on Akira then hits mounted forearms on his back. GW stomps on him then stands on his throat in the corner. GW forearms him down then hits knees to the body. Akira's headband falls off and GW puts it in his trunks then puts it back on Akira's head.

Akira cradles him for 2 then hits punches. GW spinning forearms him for 2. GW elbows him in the head and cravates him. GW pops him up and Akira ddt's him. Akira shining wizards him. Akira dropkicks him off the buckles. GW goes out and Akira topes him.

GW rolls in and rolling flatliners him for 2. Akira hurricanrana's him for 2. GW misses a corner charge and Akira hits corkscrew kicks. GW hits his flipping unprettier and gets the win.

Thoughts: It was an entertaining match as expected with the two being athletic. Tozawa hit a nice tope and GW did his usual unorthodox offense. GW thankfully at least got the win here as we are at the point where even a loss to Tozawa is feasible.

Overall thoughts: We only had 2 new matches as usual here with various recaps. Both matches were entertaining and athletic matches though with lots of action. There's nothing must see here but the new content is an easy and fun watch.
