Masatora Yasuda & Taichi vs. United Empire (Callum Newman & Jakob Austin Young)

Tai and CN trade facekicks. They then trade leg kicks and pin kicks. Tai facekicks him over. Tai then kicks him in the back. Masa hits forearms on CN. CN knees him in the face and drops him with a chest kick. Jake dropkicks Masa in the back of the neck for 2.

Masa hits forearms then Jake single leg dropkicks him. Masa hits chops on CN then CN chops him down. CN basement dropkicks him. CN chops him in the corner. Masa then headscissors and dropkicks him. Tai hits Kawada kicks on CN. CN boots him in the gut then Tai side kicks him. Tai facekicks Jake down. CN legsweeps Tai into a double stomp. Tai spinning chops CN then flips him with a lariat.

Masa and Jake trade forearms. Masa dropkicks him. Masa slams him then crabs him. Masa suplexes Jake then Tai flips Masa onto Jake for 2. Jake suplexes him for 2. Jake flying dropkicks him then hits a shiranui for the win.

Thoughts: It wasn't too much of note here. Masa busted out a rare headscissors. CN and Tai mostly just traded kicks. It was very average.

CN has Tai in a sleeper on the floor after.

Oleg Boltin & Toru Yano vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo & EVIL)

Evil tries to get Oleg to join HoT pre-match and gives him a shirt. Yano tries to start a "No" chant. Oleg puts the shirt on and the heels ceberate. Oleg then double dropkicks them.

Oleg slams Evil then splashes him. Togo eye pokes Oleg then Oleg karelin's lifts him. Oleg throws the shirt into the crowd. Fale trips Oleg from the outside. Fale rams Oleg into the rails outside.

Togo sentons Oleg's back and gut for 2. Evil chokes Oleg with a shirt. Evil eye rakes him and sends him into the exposed buckle. Oleg no sells it and shoulders him over.

Yano and Togo get in. Togo is sent into the exposed buckle. Yano is sent into the ref. Yano then takes corner attacks. Oleg saves Yano and lariats Fale over the top. Oleg catches Togo in mid-air and belly to belly suplexes him. Yano low blows Togo and wins.

Thoughts: It was mostly shenanigans here. Oleg turning down HoT was something different at least.

Hiroshi Tanahashi & Katsuya Murashima vs. House Of Torture (SANADA & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

YK hits Tana from behind early. Tana avoids a double team and dragon screws both opponents. Tana euros San then San kicks the rope into his crotch. Togo then sends Tana into the rails. San sends Tana into the seats.

YK beats up on Tana then baseball slides him for 2. Tana is sent into San's boot. Tana hits forearms on him and they catch each other's kick. Tana puts San's leg down and San dragon screws him. San misses a top rope moonsault and Tana slingblades him.

KM and YK go at it. YK corner facekicks him then KM suplexes him. KM shoulders YK over then powerslams him for 2. YK dropkicks KM in the knee. YK then half-crabs KM. YK figure fours him and wins by submission.

Thoughts: It was a short one and pretty much a waste of time here. Nobody was in this one for very long. This was just a way to get people on the card. 

Shoma Kato & Yuya Uemura vs. TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Ryohei Oiwa)

Oiwa and Yuya go at it. They trade waistlocks and let go. Oiwa side headlocks him. Oiwa shoulders him over then armdrags him. Yuya armdrags him then they armdrag each other at the same time. Yuya hammerlocks him.

Oiwa armbars him. Oiwa dropkicks him. Hart gets in and lariats Yuya. He then misses a senton. Hart takes corner attacks. Hart is hit with a double dropkick then a double backdrop for 2.

Hart crossbodies Kato then sentons him for 2. Yuya hits chops on Oiwa then Oiwa hits a big lariat. Kato rolls up Hart for 2 twice. Hart blocks a cradle and suplexes Kato. Hart then hits a lariat for 2.  Hart death valley drivers Kato and wins.

Thoughts: I liked what we got here. Yuya/Oiwa looked okay together and Hart has shown that he does well with the rookies. This was fine for what it was.

Daiki Nagai & Yota Tsuji vs. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (David Finlay & Gedo)

Nagai and DF push each other pre-match. Nagai side headlocks Gedo to start. Nagai shoulders him over then tells DF to bring it on. Nagai side headlocks DF then DF shoulders him over. Yota then shoulders over both opponents. DF takes a double shoulderblock for 2.

DF sentons Nagai then crabs him. Nagai ropebreaks. DF chops Nagai down. Gedo stomps on Nagai's hand then fist drops him. Gedo then chinlocks him. Nagai monkey flips him.

Yota comes in and knocks DF down twice. He then facekicks him. Yota misses a curbstomp and is rolled up for 2. DF uranage backbreakers him. Yota drives DF's face into the mat with his feet.

Nagai forearms both opponents down. DF bites Nagai then Nagai hits a nice dropkick. Nagai twisting crossbodies DF for 2. Nagai rolls p DF for 2. DF blocks Nagai's cradle then hits oblivion. DF wins.

Thoughts: Nagai was in this one for most of it. Nagai looked alright here with some nice dropkicks. I also enjoyed him getting up in DF's face. It wasn't that bad for what it was.

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - YOSHI-HASHI vs. Konosuke Takeshita

They back each other up on the ropes. Yoshi chops and elbows him. Yoshi shoulders him over. KT flying lariats him. Yoshi is sent into the rails outside. KT half-crabs him and Yoshi ropebreaks.

KT forearms him in the spine. KT does a cobra clutch variation on Yoshi. Yoshi dropkicks him in the knee. Yoshi neckbreakers him. KT is laid on the top rope and Yoshi dropkicks him.

KT facekicks Yoshi then backbreakers him. KT takes another neckbreaker. They trade forearms. Yoshi hits chops then is hit with a big forearm. Yoshi lariats and dragon suplexes him. KT then hits a package tombstone for 2.

KT running lariats him. Yoshi rolls him up for 2. Yoshi ddt's KT off a suplex attempt. Yoshi corner lariats him. Yoshi sunset bombs him and jack knife's him for 2. KT exploders him twice for 2. Yoshi hits some weird twisting reverse ddt drop on the knee then northern lights suplexes him for 2. Yoshi running lariats him. Yoshi hits a top rope swanton for 2.

KT stunners him off a move attempt and is rolled-up for 2. KT pumping knees him for 2. KT hits a raging fire for the win.

Thoughts: I think some people would like this but I didn't. There wasn't a lot of selling here and while they did so some nice moves and spots (with Yoshi busting out the rare swanton), there wasn't a ton of logic or formula to this. They really burnt through some bigger moves near the end.

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - Great-O-Khan vs. Ren Narita

Ren nails Khan from behind as he tries to enter the ring for his entrance. Ren sends him into the rails and bangs his head off chairs. Ren chairs a chair into Khan's knee.

Ren punches Khan with a hammer. Khan hobbles up and Ren hits him in the knee. Ren stomps Khan's knee as the match finally starts. Ren wraps Khan's leg around the post and bangs his leg off of it.

Ren then tries to sit on Khan to pin him. Khan hits mongolian chops and Ren hits him from behind. Ren back elbows him for 2. Ren then elbow the leg.

Ren butt drops the leg. Khan hits chops and Ren chokes him. Khan shoulder throws him. Khan hits chops in the corner. Khan then AA's Ren. Khan monkey flips him and claws him. Khan overhead belly to belly suplexes him for 2.

Khan then does a head and arm choke on him. Khan uranage's him off of it and keeps the hold on. Kanemaru comes down and rings the bell, making Khan think he won. Kanemaru hits Khan in the leg with a whiskey bottle. Ren then kneebars Khan.
 
Khan jack knifes Ren for 2 and rolls him into a pin. Khan suplexes him and hits a TTD for 2.  Khan goes for a claw slam and Ren rolls into a leglock on him. Khan grabs the tights to escape. Kanemaru distracts the ref and Ren hits Khan in the leg with the push-up bar. Ren leglocks Khan. Jacob Austin Young then rings the bell and makes Ren think he won.

Ren drops the hold. Khan flatliners Ren. He claw slams him but Ren brings the bref down with him. Kanemaru gets in and is thwarted. Jake helps out Khan. Ren is sat on the top rope. Ren spits something in Khan's eyes then low blows him. Ren hits a facebuster and gets a 2 count. Ren then does for another leglock and submits Khan.

Thoughts: It was the usual HoT match with shenanigans. At least Jacob Young had enough common sense to help. We had interference, ref bumps and weapon shots here and Ren worked the leg between all of that. It was maybe one of the more tolerable HoT matches but still nothing I would like to see again.

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - El Phantasmo vs. Drilla Moloney

DM shotgun dropkicks him to start and hits chops. ELP flying headscissors him, dropkicks him off the apron then topes him outside. ELP then top rope moonsaults outside onto him.

ELP tries a springboard swanton but DM gets his knees up. DM spears him. DM powerbombs him for 2. DM is stuck up top and ELP enzugiri's him there. DM 2nd rope cradle shocks him for 2.

ELP avoids a drilla killa and they each try pins. DM piledrivers him. ELP backslides him for 2. ELP superkicks him twice. ELP 2nd rope diving canadian destroyers him. ELP then hits a CR2 for 2. ELP hits another CR2 then a straightjacket piledriver. ELP springboard splashes him and wins.

Thoughts: It was a fast one and it didn't get a lot of time. I was alright with it as it went so short that you could maybe buy that they could kick out of piledrivers. 

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - Shingo Takagi vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

They do some mat wrestling and go for various holds. They then get back up. Zack traps the arm and cravates him. Shingo armdrags him then Zack hits a facekick. Shingo hits forearms then Zack misses a buzzsaw kick. They then cool down in the corners.

They do a double knuckle lock. Shingo suplexes him off of it then shoulders him over. Shingo kicks Zack in the leg then twists his ankle. Shingo knees him in the gut. Zack rams both of Shingo's knees in the mat.

Zack traps the ankle and pulls on the knee. Zack then stomps the knee. Zack euros him. Shingo goes for the sharpshooter but Zack turns it into a leglock. Zack hits kicks to Shingo's leg. Shingo back elbows him then hits a ddt when Zack ducks a punch. Shingo corner lariats him then hits punches. Shingo suplexes him then sentons him.

Shingo hits chops. Zack counters a sliding lariat and twists his arm with his feet. Zack stomps Shingo's arm. Zack armbreakers Shingo then sleepers him. Zack does an octopus. Zack leglocks him and Shingo ropebreaks.

Zack hits kicks on Shingo then twists his neck with his feet. Shingo hits a twist and shout. Shingo superplexes him. Shingo sliding lariats him from behind then hits a made in Japan for 2. Zack hits euros to the arm and michinoku drivers him. They butt heads on their knees. Zack PK's him. Zack stomps Shingo's arm in the mat then Shingo hits a michinoku driver. Shingo then hits a burning dragon for 2.

Zack grounded sleepers him and tries a bridge pin for 2. Zack facekicks him then tornado ddt's him. Zack then hits a spinning michinoku driver for 2. Zack does an ankle lock. Shingo then ropebreaks.

Zack hits euros then lariats him. Shinog running lariats him. They trade strikes. Shingo headbutts him then sliding forearms him. Shingo then hits a big lariat. Shingo hits a last of the dragon for 2 then Zack back rolls and pins him. 

Thoughts: It had the usual issues both guys run into with Zack doing a bunch of random submissions and Shingo not selling all that much. I did like it some due to the pace and how hard they went at it but I think they could have done a better job in this one.

Overall thoughts: I liked Oiwa and Nagai tags. Khan/Ren was a little better version of the usual HoT match. ELP/Drilla was short and was okay. The main could have been better but I liked the pace and intensity and still would give it a positive rating. I'd give it a small 6 out of 10 as I think they gave us enough to put this over the line but it did have room for improvement.
