Wrestlemania Day 2 begins.
We start off with a bunch of dives. Oliver takes a cool spin into a swinging side slam. Tito fights off a 3v1 then Bam Sullivan and Slade bring the fight outside of the arena. Tito gets backdropped/facekicked. There's a big tower of doom spot then there's a sunset flip that forced a superplex off the top onto people outside. Yoya jumps off of Vandergrift's back to the outside. One of the JCW guys then gets the win with a suplex. This was about 8 minutes and was totally chaotic. It felt longer than it was and was a waste of the people involved.
Cole Radrick vs Kevin Blackwood
They miss high kicks early and KB slaps him. They trade slaps and Cole gets an exploder. His cut from the previous night busts open and KB punches it. Cole backslides him then KB double stomps him. Cole gets some german suplexes. Cole does a nice roll into a kick then springboard cutters him for 2. KB hits some slaps then death valley drivers him for 2. KB then gives him a gotch style tombstone for 2. KB pumping knees him then Cle hits a spin kick and a goliath bird eater bomb to win.
Cole's kicks were okay here and his bleeding was cool, but this was a real indy match. Doing german, death valley driver and tombstone kickouts on the 2nd match on a show just isn't real smart wrestling.
Alec Price vs. Jack Cartwheel
Jack cartwheels out of a wristlock then cartwheels into a headscissors. Jack hits a nice lariat from the apron then does his weird stomach bounce and twisting drop on the top rope. He teases a flying space tiger but doesn't then misses a moonsault from the 2nd rope.
Alec hits a nice jumping kick then drops a knee. Jack then hits a standing moonsault for 2. Jack does a roll into a fisherman buster then does a handspring cartwheel elbow. Alec jumps off the top and double stomps Jack then runs and rams Jack's face into the top rope. ack does some kind of standing spanish fly but catches himself on the landing.
Jack does a neat deadlift into a sitout powerbomb, which is a new vairation. Alec then flipping ddt's him and it doesn't get sold. Jack hits a rebound german and a poisonrana then Jack hits the flying space tiger outside. Jack does a cool corkscrew ssp and wins it.
Jack is a really good flyer. A terrible worker otherwise but if he ever gets it figured out, he's going to be in a bunch of big promotions and will be a star. Jack's flips were cool here but the match was a horrible indy match with all moves and little logic.
Juicy Finau vs. Big Vin
Big Vin looks like Brody King without the tattoos. This is a hoss battle here. Vin tries to dive early on him but gets stopped. Vin gets thrown into the post. Back in and Vin hits some headbutts and lariats him over the back of the neck. Juicy then belly to bellies him and headbutt drops him. They trade some shots and Vin sideslams him.
Vin walks the top rope then Juicy samoan drops him. Juicy gets on the 2nd rope then gets powerbombed for the Big Vin win.
Not the greatest stuff here, but at least it wasn't flippy. It was slow and their shots didn't look too great, but it was nice to see some bigger dudes for a change. Juicy moves better than you would think, but they don't really know what they are doing.
Nick Wayne vs. Marcus Mathers
Marcus really looks like James Ellsworth. Nick does a nice kipup out of a lock-up. Nick then does a roll into a pin attempt and kips up again. Nick tries a cutter off the 2nd rope but gets blocked. Nick running headsicssors MM then tope's him. MM slingshot sentons him for 2.
They trade chops and really slow things down. The ytrade forearms and pump kicks at the same time then clothesline each other at the same time. Nick hits a reverse axe kick, an enzugiri then a standing spanish fly for 2. Nick then flip sells for a lariat. MM rolls him into a jumping back kick then MM twisting brainbusters him for 2. They trade spin kicks and botch a springboard into a canadian destroyer. Nick then gives him one.
They trade chops and forearms. Nick dragon suplexes him then rolls into a code red for 2. MM superkicks him an dcrade shocks him for 2. Nick enzugiri's him then gets an mk ultra belly to back drop for 2. MM then straightjacket powerbombs him for 2. MM does wild ripcord reverse sto for 2. MM then comes off the top and gets a cutter, then Nick does a 2nd rope jump into a cutter to win it.
This was the most indy match ever and was awful. Just endless kickouts and big moves that meant nothing in a midcard match. Horrible stuff.
Billie Starkz vs. Sandra Moone
SM hits a running forearm to the back of the head early then BS blocks SM's tope attempt. BS hits some suplexes and then some chest kicks to a downed SM. BS hits a half nelson suplex dropping her on her neck. they trade pump kicks on the apron. SM powerbombs her then topes her. SM then hits canadian destroyer for 2.
BS spin kicks SM then gori bombs her. SM lawn darts her into the 2nd buckle then BS germans her. BS then wins with a dragon suplex.
This was not good and was the women's version of the previous match. Just a lot of moves without any real reason for them and too many moves in midcard matches.
B-Boy vs. Grim Reefer
Grim starts smoking a cigarette. Grim gives him the cigarette and he steps on it. Grim rolls him into a russian legsweep then Grim gets his tope blocked. Grim gets put in a chair outside then BB runs around the ring to eye poke him. They trade chops and BB punches him. Grim botches a slingshot in and does a header. BB then grounds him with a cobra clutch but Grim fights out.
BB goes up to the 2nd rope then gets russian legsweeped off of it. Grim hits some nice punches while he smokes then does a funny looking swanton from the top rope (not the buckle). Grim tries some punches and stomps but BB teases a hulk up. Grim slaps BB while he smokes and BB saito suplexes him hard on his head. BB death valley drivers Grim on the apron.
BB then takes a hit on Grim's cigarette and dropkicks him in the face. hey trade shots and Grim codebreakers him. Grim crossfaces him and BB hits the ropes. A door is brought in. Grim then cutters him and BB death valley drivers him through the door. He then brainbusters him for the win.
This was not good. Real indy stuff here with them doing too much, doind tons of big moves and not having much logic in the match. This also went on forever and it was worse since Grim is kind of a comedy guy.
There's a main event with a tranny and I will not be watching that.
Overall thoughts: Well....wrestling at noon on a Friday is cool stuff. Everything on this show sucked though and it was horrible indy crap.
