Primate vs Wild Boar
I really liked The Hunt and I'm sad they are broken up. I also really question how good they will be split up. They hockey fight to start and Boar pounds on him with a flurry in the corner. He then sentons his back. He uranage's him and goes for Eddie. Primate chases him and gets lariated. Wild Boar germans Primate into the buckles then hits a hard corner spear. Boar then runs at him and hits him with his bottom.
T-Bone gets on the apron and Boar nails him. Eddie Dennis then chain shots Boar in the head for the cheap win.
This was very short and had a dirty finish.
Boar gets chained and dog collared after and Dennis whips him with the chain as Boar takes a 1v3. Mark Andrews comes out with a chair to make the save.
Dragunov warms up in the back.
Sam Gradwell is interviewed. He said Kenny thinks he is the only person who can play games around here, but he's wrong. Sam then goes into his bag and there's maggots inside.
Die Familie are in their penthouse again. They say Die Familie's dominance will continue when Charlie Dempsey beats Wolfgang tonight. Charlie agrees and said Teoman must be careful of A-Kid in their match. Teoman looks at some kind of bracelet and says his eye sees that A-Kid's focus is elsewhere. He said the pain for A-Kid will be permanent and they all drink for the continued success of Die Familie.
Jack Starz helps Dave Mastiff work out in the back. Joe Coffey gets distracted and forgets to spot Mark Coffey. Dave points this out and says him and Jack are tighter than they are. Mark pulls back Joe and the segment ends.
Wolfgang vs Charlie Dempsey
Charlie cravates him and rolls to keep it on. Charlie then does a nice cravate suplex then Wolf backdrops him. Wolf armdrags Charlie and rolls through an armdrag attempt to keep his armlock on. Charlie bridges and flips backwards to get up to his feet. Charlie hits a forearm and Wolf wakes up and gives him forearms back.
Wolf fights out of a submission and hits a nice euro uppercut. They trade euro's and Wolf back body drops him. Wolf double axe handles him off the top then sentons his chest for 2. Wolf goes for a spear and gets knee'd. Charlie then works the knee and Wolf fights back with forearms. Wolf hits his Caber Toss then an eye appears on the tron. Wolf hits Raja on the apron then Charlie double underhook suplexes him for the win.
This wasn't too long but was a good technical match.
Meiko Satomura was interviewed. She said she is the champion but has no title and says she wants to speak to Isla Dawn next week face to face.
Carter/Smith and Mustache Mountain meet up with Sid Scala. He said the two teams will meet in 2 weeks for the tag titles in a 2/3 falls match.
Wolfgang is interviewed as he is walking to the back and runs into Gallus. He wants to know where his friends were with Die Familie outside runining his match. Mark Coffey says it won't happen again.
Teoman vs A-Kid and Gallus vs Starz/Mastiff are announced for next week.
WWE NXT UK Title - Ilja Dragunov (c) vs Roderick Strong
Strong goes for a chop off of a dirty break but Drag evades it. Drag hip throws him. They trade hard chops. Drag then rolls him up and hits a front kick. Drag charges at him then Strong sidesteps him and he spears the post. Strong then throws him into the stairs. Strong locks his arm up and Drag armdrags him but Strong holds on. Drag then turns it into a pin attempt but Strong kicks him off.
They trade chops and Strong hits a nice shoulder breaker. Drag hits more hard chops and charges at him in the corner but takes a back breaker. Strong runs off the rope and gets chopped in the knee. Drag then dragon screws him. Drag comes back with a weird inside leg koppo kick. Strong is selling his knee and Drag is selling his arm. Strong hits some up kicks from the guard and Drag slams a forearm downward on him. Drag puts him in the stretch muffler but Strong breaks it.
Drag hits some nice germans and does an unusual gotch lift style german. Strong rolls outside and pulls out Drag by his injured arm then Strong half-nelson's him on the steps. Strong sideslams him on the top turnbuckle and hits some forearms. Drag enzugiri's him, bridges out of a lariat, then enzugiri's him again. Drag hits some spinning chops then takes a jumping knee. Drag hits his battering ram out of nowhere and wins it.
I didn't really like this. They oversold for what they did and the finish was out of nowhere and the limb work didn't go anywhere. Some nice stiffness and chops though.
Overall thoughts: I really only liked one match here and wasn't a huge fan of this.
