The Young Bucks vs Top Flight

Dante is shouldered over and kips up. One of the Bucks runs up the buckles and springboard armdrags him. Dante jumps up to the top rope and flips then they dropkick each other on the floor at the same time then kip-up at the same time. Matt lariats Dante from the apron. TF hit some double team offense that ends in a double dropkick. Darius double reverse armbars Matt.

Matt gyrates and Nick slingshots into an atomic drop. Cutler stops Nick from falling off the apron then dante jumps off of his brothers back and dropkicks Nick on the apron. Dante then topes both Bucks.

Darius hops over Cutler on the floor, ducks under Nick then runs into a Matt superkick. Darius takes a buckle bomb and Matt dropkicks Dante through the ropes. Darius then takes a combo cannonball/sliding kick. We go to PiP break. We return and Dante jumps off his brothers back to headlock takedown Matt. Dante does a top rope dropkick on Matt. There's a bunch of flippy moves and Dante gets a 2 count on Nick.

Nick is about to german Darius and Darius picks up Dante and throws him up and behind Nick. Nick is then held up and Dante jumps on his back and Darius germans Nick. Dante goes up top and gets pushed to the floor then Darius spanish flies Matt. Darius takes a Nick high kick then the Bucks hit a BTE trigger for the win.

This was what you would expect. A bunch of flips for no real reason and endless moves without any logic or meaning. Yeah, from an athletic perspective it was impressive and they kept it fast paced, but that's about it.

Kris Statlander gets a video and says "welcome to the other side of Kris Statlander". She's wearing a black bolt on her face instead of the usual more colorful bolt.

Dan Lambert, Paige, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky are out there. Dan said he felt like he was left at the alter when all of his good stripper jokes were left un-used when Brandi and Cody left. Ethan Page said someone took naked photos with the TNT titles. They make gay jokes at the Best Friends and Sammy which I approve of. Sammy then appears on the tron and asks if Dan Lambert likes his car. Tay and Sammy destroy Dan's car. Well, that's an easy case for vandalism and possibly public endangerment.

Hook is interviewed by Tony Schiavone. Danhausen interrupts. He talks nonsense at points his fingers at Hook and yells "boom". Nothing happens then Hook leaves and Danhausen is confused. Okay, moving on.

The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews) vs Evil Uno, Stu Grayson and Fuego del Sol

Buddy needs some tattoos or paint. Buddy gets hit off the apron early then Stu tope con hilo's him. Buddy throws out Uno and Stu. Buddy throws Sol into the 2nd buckle then Brody throws Sol out on his partners.

We go to PiP break and return to Sol trying to tag out. He does and Stu gets lifted into a headscissors on Black. Buddy gets lariated over the top by Uno then Black is thrown into a Uno sit out bomb. King lariats Uno then running cannonballs him off the apron. Sol gets surrounded but his friends help out and save him. Black hits strikes on Sol then poisonrana's him. Sol springboards and gets spin kicked by Black. Black then pins him.

The HoB took too much offense and didn't get in enough here in a quick one. If anything it felt like it was supposed to put over Sol when that should have been the least of concerns.

The Young Bucks do a promo bragging about accomplishments. They said they are talking about them and not FTR. The Bucks said FTR couldn't beat them but they accept their challenge for next week.

Owen Hart Women's Tournament Qualifier - Skye Blue vs Jamie Hayter

Skye's attractive and is showing a whole lot of booty here. Skye armdrags her then running headscissors her. Jamie then exploders her on the buckles. Skye reverses a suplex attempt then barely gets over for a crucifix driver. Jamie uranage's her on her knee then Skye hurricanrana's her.

Skye hits a sweeping style kick on the mat then Jamie backdrop drivers her hard. Skye hits a superkick then Hayter superplexes her and rolls into a suplex and a brainbuster. Jamie then wins with a rainmaker lariat.

Skye was a litte sloppy here but people are going to be too busy staring at her to notice. Jamie looked good again here and really does seem to be a step or two up on  most of the other AEW women. This really wasn't bad at all and was short.

Penta Oscuro and Alex do a promo. They tell House of Black not to forget about Death Triangle and say if they keep playinbg with Fuego del Sol, they will get burnt.

We get a split screen promo between Hobbs and Keith Lee. Hobbs wants to go first. He says he will open up the book of Hobbs and hit him with the last will and testament spinebuster. He said Keith can't bask in glory until he basks in defeat. Lee said he is a powerhouse but says Keith Lee is unreal. He says he will teach him a lesson in learning to respect those who come before him. He said the end is near. Hobbs' promo was good here.

They trade shoulders as they should then Hobbs does a nice body bloc kand is shouldered to the outside in a nice spot.

We go to PiP break. Lee goes after Hobbs and gets rammed into the post. Hobbs then lariats him hard into the rails. Things slow down. We return from the PiP break and Hobbs is dominating Lee and Lee is trying to fight back. Hobbs lariats him as he is on his knees. Lee hits a stiff forearm then a stiff lariat for 2. Hobbs hits a big powerslam and throws him.

Starks gets on the apron with a chair and Lee punches it away. Swerve Scott comes out and fights Starks then Hobbs  spinebusters Lee. The ref isn't paying attention and Taz comes out. Lee hits his death valley driver into a splash and wins it.

This was a pretty good hoss match. The interference hurt it a little but this was what you would expect and want from these two. Good stuff.

After, Starks hits the roshambo on Swerve on a table. Lee gets beat up 2v1 and Hobbs spears him through a table.

Overall thoughts: The main was good and the women's match wasn't bad. I didn't like the opener though or the House of Black match.
