Game Changer Wrestling 4/17/2026 Gringo Loco’s The Wrld on Lucha

Game Changer Wrestling 4/17/2026 Gringo Loco’s The Wrld on Lucha

We are in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rafael Quintero vs. Jimmy Lloyd vs. Devon Monroe vs. Dulce Tormenta vs. KJ Orso vs. Resplandor

KJ take some group attacks early. Devon hits a superkick and poisonrana. Resp does rope tricks and diving headscissors KJ. Resp superkicks him in the gut then handspring flying back elbows him. Resp flips off the top takes a double throat thrust. KJ does a nasty release suplex on Resp on the apron.

KJ flips over RQ. RQ forearms him. RQ rolls him up for 2. RQ euros him then enzugiri's him. RQ headscissors takedowns him then flying euros him. Jim superkicks RQ then neckbreakers him. Jim bridges him on the top rope and powerslams him for 2. Devon enzugiri's Jim. Devon casadora facebusters him. Devon pop-up meteora's him. Dulce flying headscissors Devon then superkicks him in the back of the head. Dulce double underhook backbreakers him then short arm lariats him for 2.

Dulce is crotched up top by KJ. KJ tries to unmask Dulce. They fight up top and Devon top rope hurricanrana's KJ down. Devon topes Jim and RQ outside. Dulce top rope plancha's everyone outside. RQ walks up the buckles and tornillo's outside.

Resp rope walk ssp's onto everyone. Jim over the shoulder piledrivers Resp for 2. Devon spinning ddt's Jim. RQ germans Devon. RQ does a cool handspring sitout powerbomb on Devon. Dulce gordbusters and superkicks RQ. Dulce blue thunders Resp. KJ breaks up a pin attempt by Dulce with a double stomp to the back and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a spotfest as only it could be. We got some cool spots with RQ's handspring sitout powerrbomb being the coolest spot. No one botches too much and they didn't overdo it that bad so it was an okay opener.

Thunder Rosa vs. Julissa Mexa

They compete for cheers and shake hands. They trade waistlocks. JM trips her then rolls her around. Rosa hits shots to the head to escape and JM tries a pin on her. Rosa rolls her into a pin then crossfaces her. Rosa armdrags her for 2. Rosa pulls her by the hair.

Rosa spinning headscissors her into the ropes. Rosa la silla's her from behind on the 2nd rope. JM boots her off the apron then tope con hilos her through the ropes. JM plays to the crowd and is thrown into seats. Rosa rubs JM's face on a fan. Rosa then chops JM in a seat and throws her into the post.

Rosa runs at her and backsplashes her while she's in a chair. JM forearms her inside then carwheels over her. JM dances. JM armdrags Rosa. JM bangs Rosa's head into her butt then misses a plancha. Rosa then dances and does elbow drops. Rosa then takes her shirt off.

Rosa bangs JM's face off her crotch. Rosa dances more. JM belly to belly suplexes her. Rosa hurricanrana's her then dropkicks her against the ropes. Rosa northern lights suplexes her for 2. JM wrist-clutch half-nelson suplexes her for 2.

Rosa hits kicks on her then death valley drivers her. Rosa bangs JM's face off the buckles. They fight on the buckles. JM top rope moonsault slams her for 2. Rosa hits forearms, slaps and a backhand. Rosa fire thunder drivers her and wins.

Thoughts:
I'd say it was about average. They didn't have a great flow to it. The trips outside hurt this a little and it was a not a great bout. I don't think they got some of the stuff down between the various moves and spots. Both girls also have some limits.

Mexa Boys (Noisy Boy & Spider Fly) & Briyante Jr. vs. Mala Fama (Toxin & Latigo) & Rey Horus

They totally messed up the intros for this with the Mexa Boys coming out too early. The mic cut off and there was no music for either team.

They all shake hands and The Boys hit triple superkicks. The Boys then do triple tope con hilos outside. Lat (purple) takes a springboard reverse headscissors from Spider. Spider satellite headscissors him. Tox and Noisy come in. Noisy is money flipped into the ropes but he handsprings and lands on his feet. Noisy nearly kills himself in an awkward spot. Noisy springboard headscissors Tox.

Horus springboard twisting bodyscissors Noisy. Briyante comes off the top and is swatted down. Bri flips out of the corner  then double jump diving headscissors him. Bri then gets double stomped on from behind. Noisy top rope diving headscissors. The Boys go for dives and are stopped.

Bri takes a spinebuster and a double elbow drop. Horus pounds on Bri then chops him out. Noisy takes a double spinebuster and a double boot. Rey enzugiri's Spider from behind. Rey top rope 180 splashes Spider for 2.

Bri is foot choked in the corner. Bri top rope moonsaults outside. Spider twisting tope con hilos Horus. Noisy tornillo's Tox outside. Toxi takes corner lariats, superkicks, enzugiri's and a standing spanish fly. Bri top rope frogsplashes Tox for 2.

Horus spinning lariats Bri in the corner. We get a tower of doom spot with Bri going down with a superplex. Tox dropkicks Spider. Tox tries to kip up three times but can't do it. Noisy then helps him do it on the 4th attempt. Toxic hits a hard tope outside.

Bri 2nd rope step up top con hilo's outside. Horus enzugiri's Noisy in the corner. Horus rolling bodyscissors bombs Noisy off the top and pins him.

Thoughts: They tried but it wasn't that good. The faces were sloppy. Toxin couldn't kip up. They were clearly working together at times and it should have been a lot better than it was. Noisy came very close to dying here when he tried to moonsault off Toxin.

Galeno del Mal vs. Jack Cartwheel

JC puts his head in Mal's chest and Mal shoves him away. JC dropkicks him and lands on his feet. JC dropkicks him then Mal flying forearms him. Mal chops him in the corner. JC splits out of a legdrop, up kicks him and armdrags him out. JC's flying space tiger drop is caught outside and he's dropped face first on the apron. Mal facekicks him outside.

Mal boots him around then misses a charge. JC is caught off the buckles and takes a brainbuster. They go out and Jack hits some shots. Jack's headscissors is caught and he swung into the steps. They go in, Mal is pulled out. Jack is caught off a flying space tiger outside and spinning ddt's him on the floor. Jack body springboard elbow drops him then springboard corkscrew 450's him. Jack hits his arm on the landing and is hurt and injured. The match is stopped.

Thoughts: It's a shame this ended the way it did. I was looking forward to it. Jack's new corkscrew springboard 450 move always looked like a hard move to land. I hope Jack is okay. This wasn't all that much before the injury. Gal blocking Jack on all of his dives and not just selling them got a little annoying.

Team Dragon Gate (Hyo, Kzy, Yuki Yoshioka) vs. Team Gringo (Gringo Loco, Arez, Vengador)

Loco armdrags Kzy. Kzy casadora armdrags him. They botch a spot and Loco gyrates at him. Kzy armdrags him, ducks a shot then does the worm. Kzy then dances. They shake hands and danceoff of it.

Arez and Yuki go at it. Arez wristlocks him and Yuki reverses it. Arez headflips out of it. Yuki blocks a flying headscissors and does a la magistral. Yuki flips out of Arez's monkey flip. Yuki misses dropkicks then armdrags Arez. Arez armdrags him and they try to dropkick each other at the same time before standing off.

Hyo and Veng go at it. Hyo trips him and they d some rolls. Hyo leg lariats him. They shake hands and then Veng doesn't let go. Veng knees him in the gut. Hyo is spinebustered then Loco sitout moonsaults him for 2.

Loco eye rakes Hyo. Hyo takes corner attacks. Loco gorilla press throws Hyo into an Arez sitout powerbomb. Veng brainbusters Hyo. Hyo takes a sitout powerbomb. Arez rolls off of Loco and hits a ddt.

Loco sits up top and is slapped. Kzy is popped up and Loco jumps off the 2nd rope to powerbomb him. Arez kicks Kzy in the chest. Hyo fights out of the corner and headscissors Veng off a pop up. Hyo rolls Loco into a double stomp. Yuki top rope crossbodies Arez then flying headscissors him.

Kzy and Hyo do stereo dives outside. Yuki top rope plancha's his opponents outside. Arez takes corner attacks. He takes a stunner into a backcracker and a sitout bomb. Arez is held in the air for a Hyo 2nd rope senton.

Loco and Hyo dance. Loco is superkicked in the face then Yuki suplexes him for 2. Arez overhead kicks Kzy. Arez takes a powerbomb + top rope blockbuster combo. Yuki tope con hilos outside then Loco does the same. Veng does the valiente special outside (walk up the ropes blinde moonsault). Veng takes a flatliner then a canadian destroyer. Hyo 2nd rope diving cutters Veng for 2.

We get a dangerous Loco double crucifix driver. One of the DG guys lands bad on his neck. Veng cutters Hyo and Arez top rope double stomps Hyo. Logo top rope moonsaults Hyo and pins him.

Thoughts:
It got enough time to play out. It was okay but nothing too special. The top rope double crucifix bomb spot was so dangerous. This was all about the flying and spots as expected.

Lucha Extrema - El Desperado vs. Vipress

There's really only one way to work these matches and it's to have the male cheat and be a jerk which turns the female wrestler into the face. We didn't get that here. It was a straight 1v1 match without them playing up size differences. They overdid it with canadian destroyers and top rope bumps through tables not really meaning all that much. I was expecting barbed wire, glass and that kind of stuff but they just stuck to doors and chairs here. And that's fine, just Despy does that kind of stuff all the time, so I don't know why he didn't do it here. The crowd wasn't super hot for this, or really anything on this show and I don't blame them. Despy won this with an angel's wings on chairs. I didn't think it was anything special.

Overall thoughts: The show was just so-so overall. The opener was acceptable. Rosa/Mexa was average. The trios match with The Mexa Boys had a lot of sloppy moments and the faces were just of their game. Galeno/Cartwheel ended early due to injury. Team Dragon Gate vs Team Gringo was the best match of the night but was just okay. The main wasn't something I was going to enjoy but it was not the bloody hardcore match with glass and light tubes that I was expecting. The crowd was also not that good here. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as half this card really wasn't that good.

Game Changer Wrestling 4/16/2025 WWE ID Championship Tournament

Game Changer Wrestling 4/16/2025 WWE ID Championship Tournament

This is a pretty big deal as WWE is basically lending it's name to an indy. This oddly aired at the same time as WWE Evolve and four people on this show were actually on the Evolve show.

WWE ID Men's Title Tournament First Round Match - Freedom Ramsey vs. Jordan Oasis

Free side headlocks JO. JO hits an armdrag then does another and keeps the armlock on. Free atomic drops him and running euros him. Free hiptosses JO then facebusters him for 2. JO slams him and sentons him for 2.

JO suplexes him for 2. JO hits some forearms. Free sunset flips him for 2. JO is pulled out. Free forearms JO out on the floor. JO then topes him and goes hard into a fan's leg. JO chinlocks him.

JO chops him and euros him. Free hits a nice clothesline. Free flying knees him then spinebusters him. Free falcon arrows him for 2. JO backbreakers him and suplexes him. Jo cannonballs him on the ropes and langs on his feet for 2. Free enzugiri's him then germans him. JO lariats him from behind and wins.

Thoughts: The crowd didn't care at all and sadly hurt this one. It wasn't great or anything and went a bit long with what they were doing.

They hug after and Jordan gets on the mic. He says it was a hell of a GCW debut. He welcomes everyone to the first round of the ID Tournament. He says people will make history and become ID champs. Jordan says the titles will be defended across various indies including GCW. Jordan says he thrives on being on the road. He thanks everyone and hopes they enjoy the show.

Izzy Moreno vs. Zara Zakher

They lock up and Zara headscissors her. They get back up. They try pin attempts. Izzy armdrags her into a pin attempt. Izzy then northern lights suplexes her and does an armbar.

Izzi forearms Zara and bangs her head off the buckles. Zara corner euros her. Zara snapmares her then basemnet dropkicks her. Zara hits slams. Izzy hits lariats then corner spears her. Izzy corner back elbows her then 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2.

Izzi misses a corner charge then Zara spinebusters her for 2. Swipe Right and Zayda Steel come out. Smokes talks to Zara and Zay hits Izzy with a shoe. Zara backflips into a cutter on Izzy and pins her.

Thoughts: It was short and fine. Zara won as expected here. It wasn't great or anything but they kept things moving and I had no issues with it. Hopefully Swipe Right getting involved leads to something.

Zara has words for Zayda after. All of Swipe Right gets in and Zay hits Zara from behind. Zay hits an unprettier on Zara. Izzy and Zara are both sent out of the ring.

Smoks gets on the mic after. He says remember when Jordan Oasis had a banger match and got everyone on their feet? He says me neither. He says Jordan and Izzy suck and don't deserve to be ID'd. Smokes says you gotta surround yourself with successful people to be successful.

Brad says just to look at them to know all about WWE ID. Brad says they do whatever they want. They say they will prove they aren't all talk when they win tonight. They say they will make sure someone becomes the first WWE ID champ.

They clarify that the WWE ID Tournament is double elimination.

WWE ID Men's Title Tournament First Round Match - Aaron Rourke vs. It's GAL

AR is doing some Adrian Street thing. They say Gal is in "perfectly mint condition".

Gal and AR lock up. AR is pushed back. AR slaps him on the butt and poses. AR side headlocks him. AR takes him over. Gal headscissors him and does push-ups. AR armdrags him then single leg dropkicks him. AR goes up and over, flips and dropkicks him.

Gal pulls AR out. AR flying headscissors him. Gal throws AR then facekicks him. Gal then germans him for 2. Gal slams him. Gal chinlocks him. Things slow down and Gal clubs and double chops him.

AR hits shots to the gut and Gal throws him. Gal slaps him in the back of the head and laughs. AR hits chops. AR facekicks him out of the corner. Gal catches his crossbody and fallaway slams him.

Gal hits corner shots then spinning lariats him for 2. Gal legdrops him. Gal misses a legdrop. AR is pulled off the ropes but hits a codebreaker. AR hits a ddt and corner facekicks him. AR corner hip attacks him for 2. AR hits a molly go round for 2.

Gal germans him and bangs AR's head off the buckles. AR sunset bombs Gal from the buckles. Gal grabs his medals. They fight over them. The ref takes the medal and Gal low blows AR. Gal spinning blue thunders AR and wins.

Thoughts: The crowd this one as well by not really reacting to anything. To their defense, there weren't any real clear faces or heels here and the match wasn't too great. I don't know what Rourke is doing or who it's for, but I'm not it.

WWE ID Men's Title Tournament First Round Triple Threat Match - Atticus Cogar vs. Ice Williams vs. Aaron Roberts

Ice is hit to start. AR and AC go at it. AR misses a corner charge. AC misses a skewer shot on AR and AR crossbodies him.  Ice dropkicks AR then corner forearms him.

Ice hits corner punches on AR. Ice does a springboard neckbreaker on AR. AC bites Ice's head.  Ice rolls up AC then ddt's him for 2. AR splashes AC then is dropkicked by Ice. AR splashes Ice.

AC comes in and chairs AR. AR no sells it. AR spinebusters him. AR sits on a chair and poses. AC PK's a chair into AR's chest for 2. AC and Ice shove each other. They trade forearms. AR hits a double lariat then facekicks AC. AR charges Ice in the corner against the buckles then overhead belly to belly suplexes him.

AC germans Ice then 2nd rope moonsaults AR while he's on the 2nd rope. Ice 2nd rope elbow drops AC in the back of the head. AR world's strongest slams Ice. AR misses a vader bomb on Ice. Ice superkicks him.

AC rakes AR's eyes. AC headlock drivers AR. Fuego del Sol then comes in and beats up AC. Sol throws AC out and fights him in the crowd. Ice hits a nice top rope elbow drop on AR and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't bad. There was nothing too great in it though. AR doesn't move bad for being such a big guy. I'm not sure why this was a 3-way match and other matches weren't. That's kind of unfair since some people only have to beat 1 person to advance.

Swipe Right attacks Ice after. Ice takes a pendulum slam from Brad. Zayda gets on the mic and says Ice sure does look like a winner right now. She says that's what will happen to Ice on Friday. Zay says Kylie Rae is an idiot if she thinks she will be the ID Women's champ. She says her name is already on the belt.

WWE ID Women's Title Tournament First Round Match - Kylie Rae vs. Zayda Steel

KR comes out while all of Swipe Right is still in the ring.

KR offers a handshake and her hand is kicked away. They lock up and KR wristlocks her. Zay pulls the hair and is armlocked. KR la magistral's her for 2. KR rolls into a jackknife on her.

KR shoulders Zay over for 2 then Smokes trips KR from the outside. All of Swipe Right is then ejected. KR's arm is pulled over the 2nd rope. Zay pounds and stomps on KR. KR is codebreakered over the 2nd rope.

KR hits lariats. KR armdrags her out of the hiptoss then is rolled up for 2. Zay hits boots in the corner. Zay knee chokes her on the ropes. Zay hanging triangles her over the top rope. Zay pulls KR's arm down over the top.

Zay stomps KR's arm into the mat then armbars her. KR armdrags her and rolls her into a superkick for 2. KR hits boots to the gut. Zay spinning forearms her for 2.

Zay slaps her. KR blocks a codebreaker then superkicks her. KR russian legsweeps her then crossfaces her. Zay then taps out.

Thoughts: It wasn't that interesting. The work was pretty average here and there wasn't much of a story. I think people assume Kylie is great because she has a name and has been around for so long, but I've never really seen that. Zay's probably a better personality than a wrestler at this point.

WWE ID Men's Title Tournament First Round Match - Marcus Mathers vs. Sam Holloway

Sam hits a nice running dropkick to start. Sam then sitout powerbombs him for 2. Sam throws chairs in. MM dropkicks a chair through Sam's face through the ropes. MM then hits mounted shots on Sam.

MM hits forearms then hits headbutts. Sam knees and clubs him. Sam is pushed into the post. MM then cannonballs off the stage onto Sam outside. MM top rope twisting crossbodies Sam for 2. Sam double underhook suplexes MM into a chair in the corner.

Sam chairs MM. Sam shoves the chair edge into MM's neck. Sam forearms MM over then suplexes him. MM is thrown head first into a chair between the buckles. MM is put in a chair in the corner. Sam tries to senton him but jsut goes into the chair. MM throws a chair at him and vandaminator's him.

MM buzzsaw kicks him then pump kicks him. MM germans him for 2. MM chairs Sam's back. Sam uranages MM onto 2 chairs for 2. MM is on the top rope and Sam dropkicks him down. Sam powerbombs MM on the ring apron. Sam hits a top rope splash for 2.

MM is on the buckles and is chaired. MM throws a chair at Sam's face for 2. MM chairs him. MM 2nd rope os cutters him onto two open chairs. MM hits a top rope 450 and wins.

Thoughts: This went too long and wasn't that great. They really focused on chairs here and that only gets you so far. The idea and logic was fine but it just went too long and wasn't super spectacular.

The ref helps Sam up. Sam lariats him after.

Jackson Drake & Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) vs. Cappuccino Jones, Jack Cartwheel & Sean Legacy

Jones and Drake go at it. They go to the mat and Drake ropebreaks. Jones wristlocks him. Jones armdrags him then low crossbodies him. Jones backs him up in the corner. Jack gets in. Drake boots him. Brad clubs on Jack. Jack cartwheels out of a hip throw then hits armdrags and an armlock.

Sean works Brad's arm. Jones armlocks Brad. Brad takes a backbreaker + body springboard splash on Brad. Jack armlocks Smokes. Jones hits punches on Smokes. Brad hits Jones from behind. Jones leapfrogs and dropkicks Brad.

Jack cartwheel kicks Brad's arm while Jones holds it. Jack splits out of a lariat and headscissors Brad down. He then slams him. Sean kicks and standing moonsaults Brad. Sean double stomps Smokes' back and dropkicks him.

Drake comes in and pounds on Sean. Sean is whipped into a facekick for 2. Drake snapmares Sean and kicks him in the back. Drake russian legsweeps Sean. Drake stomps on Sean's fingers.

Jack comes in and hits lariats on Swipe Right. He step up enzugiri's Smokes. Jack crucifix bombs Brad for 2. Jack cartwheels off the post onto Swipe Right. Jack's team does triple stereo dives outside. Brad elbow drops Jack. Smokes clubs on Jack's chest. Smokes backdrops Jack for 2. Brad and Jack trade. Drake stops Jack from making a tag. Drake facekicks Jack and Jack cartwheels off of it. Jack then lariats him.

Jones hits shots on Smokes. Jones goes up and over with a headscissors on Drake. He half-nelson suplexes him. Smokes misses a dive off the nucklles then Jones does a front rolling ddt on him. Jack neckbreakers Brad then takes a flying knee from Drake. Sean does a dropkick + reverse ddt + flatliner combo. Sean does a springboard 450 on Smokes.

Smokes ushigoroshi's Sean for 2. Jack dropsaults Drake. Jack gets out of a cutter. Drake handspring cutters Jack for 2. Brad takes a rolling death valley driver + spinning forearm. Jones top rope elbow drops Brad for 2. Drake top rope hurricanrana's Jack then dropkicks Jones off the apron. Jack takes a super swipe and is pinned.

Thoughts: This went way too long and the crowd was awful all throughout. They tried and the match made sense and all but it was too long and just never felt like it would end. Jack overdid some of the cartwheels and flips here and made what he was doing look fake.

Sean is beaten up by Swipe Right after. Smokes M. Bison stomps him. Freedom Ramsey comes out to help and gets beaten up. Jordan Oasis comes out to help. Ice Williams then comes out.

Sean says he's still standing and says Ricky Smokes is in trouble if that's the best @ss kicking he can give. He says he will show why legacy is always super on Friday. Ice says he will see the bootleg Brad Baylor at FSW and says he will put him in the freezer.

Overall thoughts: It was a long show with an awful crowd. The crowd didn't react at all and ruined every single match due to it. The matches also all went long and just weren't that impressive. It was a hard show to sit through that was boring at times. I would not recommend this one at all and would just give it a 4 out of 10, almost all due to the crowd.

Game Changer Wrestling 1/26/2024 Look At Me

Game Changer Wrestling 1/26/2024 Look At Me

I saw 9 of 12 matches here.

Joey Janela vs AJ Francis

Joey hits punches and hits a hard running forearm. Joey topes him then is powerbombed into the post and apron. Joey is pulled into the post. AJ running knees him in the corner then pulls his neck over the top rope. AJ misses a kick and his crotch goes into the 2nd rope. Joey tornado ddt's him. Joey top rope swantons him outside.

A door and chair are brought in. Joey is sent into the post. AJ chairs him. Joey hits forearms and a spinning forearm. Joey misses a to prope move then is chokeslammed onto a door on the apron. AJ goes for a move on the buckles and is powerbombed through chairs. DJ Whoo Kid gets in the ring to help out AJ. Joey grabs him and death valley drivers him through a table.

AJ face kicks Joey. Things slow down as they set up a door on chairs and the chair breaks. AJ 2nd rope exploders Joey through a door. They trade forearms and Joey throws a chair at him. They lariat each other and AJ flips him. Joey then rolls him up off a chokeslam and wins it.

The first half was okay then it just kept going. I didn't like AJ getting powerbombed by the smaller guy here and I thought they did way too much.

Lio Rush vs Jack Cartwheel

Jack does a cartwheel and wants Lio to do one. Lio does and Jack asks for another cartwheel. Lio obliges. They tease doing one together and Lio boots him. Lio hits shots in the corner. Jack leapfrogs, cartwheels and kicks him. They do misdirections on the ropes and Jack boots him from the corner. Lio chopsa and suplexes him.

Lio sliding lariats him. Jack enzugiri's him from the apron and is superkicked on the apron. Jack is dropped on chairs and the apron. Lio backdrops him then does a camel clutch variation. Lio forearms and chops him. Jack does a cartwheel out of a kick then does a cartwheel dragon screw.

Lio is flipped then Jack misses a cartwheel splash in the corner. Jack backflips and hits a german. Jack flying space tigers Lio. Jack then does a stomach springboard elbow drop. Jck misses a cartwheel off the top and Lio los enzugiri's him. Lio falcon arrows him for 2.

They trade forearms. Lio cartwheels into a superkick then Jack superkicks him. Jack lariats him then Lio low topes him. jack does a cartwheel powerslam and misses a corkscrew moonsault. Lio spears him and frogsplashes him for the win.

It was an entertaining juniors match. Lots of cartwheels and flying here as expected. Jack has really expanded his cartwheel offense since the last time I've seen him and has improved his look.

Los Macizos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo) & Rina Yamashita vs. Gahbage Daddies (Alec Price & Cole Radrick) & Mr. Danger

The two teams charge at each other and miss. Rina's team takes triple superkicks. Cole hurricanrana's Ci then Price springboard crossbodies him. Danger springboard legdrops Ci. Price hits knees on Ci then takes his headphones off. Price suplexes him for 2.

Cole works Ci's arm. Rina breaks it up and gets kicked. Ci pulls Cole over the top then Danger plancha's Cole. Ci flips Price with a lariat. Rina gets in and takes a 2v1. Rina tries to grab the crotches of Danger and Cole then takes forearms. Danger and Cole are snet into each other and grabbed by the crotch. Cole and Price take stereo backdrops.

Price is double hiptossed and double dropped. CI top rope headbutts Price in the crotch. Cole does a bad os cutter off the top then Price walks the buckles into a blockbuster. Danger top rope asai moonsaults. Cole and Price do stereo dives outside.

Danger hits people with ladders then does a swanton off the top of the ladder to the outside. Danger does a top rope 450 then takes a spinebuster. Price does a top rope leg lariat on Ci. A door is put in the ring. Rina does a bad top rope plancha to the outside. Extremo lariats Danger and sets up a ladder. Extremo drops Ci onto Danger through a door. Rina then top rope splashes Danger and wins it.

It was garbage as expected as it was a hardcore intergender match. Rina's dives really looked weak here and Mr. Danger's dives were the only good part about this one.

Tony Deppen vs. Mansoor

Mansoor is flipped out of a wristlock. Mansoor armdrags him and Tony rolls through with it then arm throws him. Mansoor walks up Tony's knee and takes him down then arm flips him three times. Tony forearms him down then Tony puts his own shirt over his face. Mansoor then dropkicks him.

Mansoor corner splashes Tony and hits him in the gut. Mansoor sunset flips him then pulls down Tony's tights. Mansoor atomic drops him and Tony goes out. Tony sits in a chair and Mansoor sits next to him and chops him.

Inside the ring, Mansoor hits chops and then puts Tony on top. Tony 2nd rope double stomps Mansoor's arm and arm drags him. Mansoor armdrags him then Tony takes him down and kicks his arm.  Tony stomps the hand then is german suplexed. Mansoor lariats him over the top. Mansoor topes him and is caught and crossfaced on the floor. Mansoor lifts him and powerbombs him on the apron edge.

Tony hits shots to the arm and Mansoor forearms him. Mansoor superkicks him, atomic drops him and spinebusters him. Manshoot hits a chop and forearm combo. Mansoor germans him then Tony russian legsweeps him. Tony puts him in a head and double arm submission. Mansoor enzugiri's him then hits a nice twisting reverse ddt move for 2.

Tony pushes him into the buckles then germans him. Tony hits a meteora in the corner. Mansoor rolls him up for 2 then spinning enzugiri's him. Mansoor tope con hilos him and slingshot neckbreakers him for 2. Mansoor goes up top and Tony pushes the ref into the ropes, crotching Mansoor. Tony does a top rope hiptoss into an armbar. Mansoor powerbombs him while in it twice then Tony triangles him. Tony crossfaces Mansoor then pulls on both arms backwards and submits him.

The first few minutes were good, then Tony's shorts got pulled down. It then dragged, going on for another 10 minutes and lost my interest.

Jacob Fatu & Zilla Fatu vs. The Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black)

The Fatu's pose on the apron and get dropkicked. Jay then tope con hilos through a hula hoop onto them. Jacob goes into the post. Zilla is euro'd > tripped > double stomped. Jay moonsaults off of his partner's back onto Zilla. Jacob then takes a bridging ddt + a splash in a double team. Zilla double flying lariats his opponents then hits a double samoan drop.

Jacob throws a chair at Black then Black chairs him. Black chairs Zilla then Black is thrown into chairs. Jacob 2nd rope moonsaults outside. Black is sent hard into the post and Jacob chairs Jay.

Jacob does a handspring moonsault onto Jay then Black sends Zilla into the post. Zilla splashes Jay and spears the buckle hard. Zilla then blue thunders Black. Jay hits chops on Jacob then poisonrana's him. Jay uses the ropes to push Black into a spear on Fatu. Jay pop-up powerbombs Jacob then Jacob takes kicks.

Jacob is put on a door then Jay ends up doing an assisted 2nd rope moonsault onto Jacob. Jacob no sells it then has chairs thrown at his head. Jacob no sells it and lariats Black. Jay spinning side pendulum slams Jacob then Zilla top rope splashes Jay to break it up, also landing on Jacob. They fight on their knees. The Fatu's hit headbutts then Jay handspring back enzugiri's Jacob. Zilla spears Jay through a door then Jacob pop-up samoan drops Black. Jacob double jump moonsaults Black. Zilla samoan spike slams Black and wins it.

They did way too much here and didn't sell much at all. There were tons of highlight moments here with moonsaults to the outside, people going through tables and lots of flips.

Zilla looked good here and like Jacob, has a ton of potential. He's big, he's agile and he's scary. I'm not sure how many matches he has had, but he's way better than he should be at this stage. I just don't know how the Anoai/Fatu family just keeps producing talent like this. I'm a big believer in genetics determining some things in people's lives and this family was created for wrestling. These guys seriously need to be studied and cloned or something.

I hadn't seen The Mane Event for a while, but they've really upped their in-ring work and are a lot better now than they were on AEW Dark. They have a gimmick as well and if Jay Lyon could just drop some weight, they'd be a lot more marketable. I could see them getting a deal with TNA if nothing else.

John Wayne Murdoch vs Gringo Loco

John knocks him off the apron and sends him into the post. Loco is hit with a chair then John puts on Loco's entrance gear. John chokes Loco with his own jacket. They fight on the apron and Loco falcon arrows him on a door on the apron. Loco then double jump os cutters him.

John is put on a chair. Loco does a double jump moonsault, misses and is put in a koji clutch. John chairs him. John sunset flips him but Loco chairs him while he's down on the mat. A door is set up on two chairs. John 2nd rope canadian destroyers him through the door for 1.

Loco pop-up fire thunders him for 2. John low blows Loco then Loco powerbombs him on chairs. Loco top rope moonsaults him onto chairs and wins it.

I hated it. It was nothing but big spots. Loco even kicked out of a canadian destroyer at the 1 count here.

GCW Tag Team Title Match - Violence Is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku) (c) vs. Culture Inc (Eli Knight & Malik Bosede)

Eli and Malik are jumped as soon as they enter. They then pair off outside. VIF are sent into each other. Eli top rope moonsaults outside onto both opponents. Dom takes a double stomp on the back > 2nd rope sling blade > standing twisting ssp.

Eli goes to springboard and is pulled down then Ku knees him off the apron. Malik takes moves in the corner then a backbreaker + 2nd rope knee. Dom chops Malik then Ku dragon screws him. Ku stomps the ankle. Dom snapmares Malik and kicks him in the back. Malik hits punches then coebreakers him.

Eli sringboard step-up enzugiri's Ku. Eli hits forearms on Dom, does a nice flip off of his back then dropkicks him. Eli tornado ddt's Dom off of Ku. Eli hits forearms on Dom, flips off of him and kicked him. Ku kicks Eli and hook kicks him. Malik flying knees Ku. Dom back fists Malik then fisherman busters him.

Eli delayed german suplexes Dom then Malik springboard blockbusters Dom. Eli asai moonsaults Dom. Dom throws Malik out then Eli takes a superplex + double stomp off the top. Dom fireman's carry gutbusters Eli then Ku lariats Eli so hard that Eli ends up kicking him.

Eli jumping cutters Dom then dropkicks Ku. Ku takes a backdrop + top rope double stomp. Eli moonsaults Ku then Malik springboard 450's Ku for 2. Domi and Eli trade shots. Dom tombstones him and Ku busaiku knees Malik. Eli takes a brainbuster + enzugiri combo and is pinned.

It was a fast paced match with a lot of spots. Culture were kind of faces here but you know, this was about having a good match more than that stuff. Culture Inc will probably go onto better things due to their skin color and style. Eli's the Michaels of the group and can really fly high.

Local Competitor vs. The American Giant

So, The American Giant has been around since the 1990's, even making an appearance on WCW Saturday Night. He's tall, he's old, he's thin and he looks like a crazy version of Christopher from The Sopranos. Local Competitor is a wrestler named Faboo Andre. LC tries shots and gets nowhere. He's swatted down while in the air and is thrown into the buckles where he really bumps like crazy for him.

Giant throws him off the top then pins him with one foot off of a chokeslam.

This was a freakshow match and was indeed something different. The American Giant can't really move or do much and Local Competitor really bumped like crazy for him to the point of it being comedic. Giant is basically doing comedy.

Joey Janela tells Giant he's impressed by him after. Giant starts a USA chant while Joey talk to him. Joey asks him to come to another show. Giant asks if people want to see him and he agrees.

GCW World Title Match - Blake Christian vs. Marcus Mathers

Blake is growing out his hair and is definitely trying some new kind of character out. Blake clean breaks him and takes him down. Blake pulls on the arm, then bites his fingers and pulls his hair. MM up kicks him then hits an armdrag. MM rolls him up for 2.

Blake stomps MM then MM dropkicks him. MM face kicks him and rolls him into a back kick for 2. Blake misses a splash and clips him. MM's knees are dropped on the top turnbuckle connecter. MM has a door tope'd into him then Blake sharpshooters him on the floor. Blake is sent into the post.

Blake tries to slingshot off the apron but is forearmed then Blake springboard lariats him. Blake figure fours him and MM ropebreaks. Blake irish whips MM but he falls over as his legs are hurting too much. Blake hits corner forearms then MM double jump twisting crossbodies him.

MM does an os cutter then germans him for 2. Blake handspring corkscrew enzugiri's him then dropkicks him through the ropes. Blake plancha's him. MM avoids a 450 and cutters him off the kip up. MM 450's him for 2. MM tope con hilos Shane Mercer outside as he tried to help Blake out.

MM flips off the 2nd rope and his leg gives out. Blake springboard 450's him and taps him out with a combo texas cloverleaf/sharpshooter.

I didn't think it was anything special and I wasn't impressed with the selling of the leg, or lack thereof.

Shane beats up MM some after. Joey Janela then comes out and wants to fight. Blake said he beat him 3 times and asks what he wants. Blake asks him to put his title on the line and then says he will put his own title on the line too, making it a title vs title match. Joey agrees. Joey said they are making a mockery of GCW and Joey says he is GCW. He then says it's time to finish his story and win the title. He said people will find out that he's a bad boy and the GCW champ.

Overall thoughts: It was a GCW show. It's as indy as it gets. They do put together some interesting matches and bring some interesting people in but it doesn't lead to quality most of the time. They did way too much in almost every match and everything was basically under hardcore rules. Rush vs Cartwheel was entertaining and maybe the best thing on here. Zilla Fatu had a good showing, though they did way too much in his match. I wouldn't recommend this one.
