WWE NXT 4/14/2026 NXT Revenge 2026 Week 1

We are at The Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary.

Jaida Parker vs Kelani Jordan

I think JP has a new theme where the song chants her name.

They lock up and get rough. They shove each other and KJ is sent out. They go back to the lock up. JP's throat is pulled into the top rope. JP slides into a headlock on her. JP armdrags her and shoulders her over. JP back body drops her. 

JP is swept on the apron. They double lariat each other on the floor. JP gets her hair stuck in KJ's outfit and asks if she's okay. We go to PiP break and return.

KJ slingshot stomps her. KJ pulls JP's leg around the post. KJ chopblocks her. KJ's head is banged off the buckles. JP germans her. KJ STF's her. KJ stomps JP's knee into the mat. JP slaps her. KJ hits kicks to the body and spinning heel kicks her. JP samoan drops her then hits shoulderblocks. JP backcrackers her. 

JP lays her on the 2nd rope and buttpresses her down. KJ slingshot cutters her for 2. JP catches KJ's top rope crossbody. JP falcon arrows her for 2. JP runs into an exposed buckle. KJ superkicks her and split-legged moonsaults her for the win.

Thoughts: They had some good aggression here and it felt like there was a grudge. The finish was a bit weak and them getting caught talking to each other on the camera's was a problem. It was alright but it felt like they were building to something bigger than what we got.

Shiloh Hill has a hammer in the back and is seemingly planning a construction project. Ricky Saints comes in and asks what he's building. Ricky accuses him of building a time machine. Ethan Page comes in and Ricky says they need to talk. Page says things got out of hand and they blame each other. Page says he needs his help to become champ tonight and says Ricky gets the first shot if he wins. They hug and Shiloh is grossed out. 

Sol Ruca talks about her and Zaria's history over the last year. 

Joe Hendry comes out for a concert. He says he lost the NXT Title. He says he needs to ask if it's the end of the road and if he should stop now. He says he looked in the mirror and "Joe says no". He says he needs to lift everyone's spirits with a concert. Joe sings and Keanu Carver comes down.

Joe says they won't do this. Joe says he has seen him disrespect people. He says he promised a concert and the fans will get one. KC hits him and Joe gets shots in. Joe hits him with the guitar and KC no sells it. KC bangs Joe's head off the mat and Joe gets busted open somehow. Security try to stop KC and get nailed. KC then spears Joe and 3 guards (Harley Riggins and Braxton Cole are two of them...they used to be on the same page with KC in Evolve).

Tony D'Angelo does a promo. He says he sets the tone on how his title reign goes when he faces Ethan Page. He says Page made his mark in NXT. He says Oba Femi is about to the slay the beast at Mania and he says he dethroned Oba. He says he doesn't like Page and said he changed his life for the title. He says he will smash Page and his ego to keep it.

Lola Vice and Stephanie Vaquer talk in the back. SV says good luck  tonight.

Kali Armstrong vs Skylar Raye

I forgot all about Sky. She's been on this show only two times so far.

Kali slaps her handshake away then throws her down backwards. Kali slams her down on the armlock. Kali knees her in the gut. Sky boots her in the gut. Sky la mistica facebusters her. Kali spinebusters her. Kali hits corner spears. 

Kali powerslams her for 2. Kali slaps her around. Sky hits shots to the gut. Kali hits punches and drops her. Kali cranks Sky's head. Kali elbow drops her. Sky hits chops then flying shoulder tackles her. Sky spinning ddt's her for 2.

Sky comes off the buckles and is hit. Kali powerslams her. Kali running shoulders her and Sky does a flip off of it. Kali pins her.

Thoughts: I didn't like Sky being used for jobber fodder. It's not a huge deal but she just has a lot of potential and skill. Kali busted out some new punches and dances here and looked solid.

Robert Stone talks to Blake Monroe and The Vanity Project. Stone tells Blake she has a title shot with Tatum Paxley next week. Stone says he let Tatum pick the stipulation though. Jackson Drake complains and The Project try to tell Blake she will be fine.

NXT Title - Tony D'Angelo (c) vs Ethan Page

Page misses a shot and TD hits punches. TD bangs Page's head off the buckles then slams him. TD lariats him. Page gets ome shots in. Page knees him out of the corner. Page suplexes him. Ricky Saints comes out and someone pulls him under the ring. They double clothesline each other. We then see Shiloh Hill has Ricky's legs tied up with a rope and he drags him to the back.

TD release AA's Page for 2. TD's head is banged off Page's knee. Page swinging neckbreakers him on the floor. We go to PiP break and return. TD elbows out of a sleeper. Page powerslams him. Page hits punches and TD fires up. TD punches him and germans him. TD overhead belly to belly suplexes him then germans him. TD spears him for 2. They trade shots. TD headhunters him from behind then twisting fisherman suplexes him for 2. Page eye rakes TD on a chokeslam attempt. 

TD misses a corner spear. Page 2nd rope powerslams him for 2. Page top rope splashes him for 2. Page grabs the NXT Title and tugs over it with the ref. TD rolls him up for 2. Page hits him with an ego's edge on the title for 2. 

Page hits mounted punches. They get on the commentary table. TD sends Page's face into the rail. TD walks the rail and spears him on the table. TD chokeslams him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an alright match here. TD muscled and threw Page around and Page used various shortcuts. Not great but definitely better than what it could have been. I thought they had the general idea down and did an okay job with this.

A ref is trying to hold Ricky Saints back from Shiloh Hill. Ricky tells him this isn't over. Hill points power tools at him and Ricky backs off.

Myles Borne talks. He says he sent Johnny Wrestling back to Smackdown at Stand and Deliver. He says Dion Lennox then hit him with a chair from behind. He says he heard it and felt it. He says Dion stole his moment. He says when you attack the NA champ, ain't nobody safe. 

Darkstate appear in the crowd. Dion says Borne got the title from Page but not his brains. Dion says they put fear into NXT over the last year and says distractions keep stopping him from winning the title. He says the Dark State slump is over and Dark State's future is the N-A Title on Borne's shoulder. Dion says he can accept his fate or deny the inevitable. Borne says if he wants a title match, they can do it next week. He says as for his ultimatum, he goes with Option C, where he keeps the title. Borne says Dion can have the title match. He says if Darkstate takes him out, Dion might not get the title match. Borne says Dion has a decision to make as the leader of Darkstate and says he's ready either way.

Sayquon Shugars complains about the leader line and says there's no leader of Darkstate. Shugars threatens to break his neck. Shugars says he doesn't care about the title match. Dion says we aren't doing this, going against Shugars. Dion says the future is the title. Shugars asks if it's their future or his. Shugars goes after Borne, Borne hits a zigzag and Darkstate pull Shugars out.

Zaria then does a video talking about her history with Sol Ruca.

WWE Speed Tournament First Round - EK Prosper vs Dorian Van Dux

Dux does an inset promo. He says he came from Belgium and dominated the UK wrestling scene. He says he's here to change NXT's definition of destruction.

Dux blocks a headscissors. EK flips over Dux's back. Dux throws EK over the top to the floor. Dux suicide dives him. Dux top rope splashes EK's back for 2. EK code red's him. EK top rope moonsaults him outside. 

EK dropkicks him. Dux 2nd rope dropkicks him. Dux running lariats him for 2. Dux sits up top and is dropkicked. EK standing hurricanrana's him down from the top. EK shining wizard's him for 2. 

EK superkicks him then Dux pumping knees him. Dux double jump os cutters him. Dux misses a top rope ssp. EK top rope moonsaults him for the win.

Thoughts: It was all flying without a lot of selling. It was a quick little highlight reel and they got a lot in. Dux is already starting to get over and will probably be on here instead of Evolve soon enough.

The Birthright then look at EK from the aisle.

Stone and Keanu Carver talk in the back. Keanu says the time for talking is done with Joe. Keanu says next week will be Joe Hendry's funeral when they meet in the ring next week.

We get a video on Club WWE.

We get a video on Kendal Grey. She says getting dressed up and talking about herself isn't her thing. She says she was told she had a 1% chance of getting on Stand and Deliver last year. She says she has raised her stock a lot and credits Wren's friendship. She talks about her time in Evolve and says she became a different person during it. She said Evolve gave her confidence and says she wouldn't have had NXT success without Evolve. She says the WWE Universe saw her as a star at the Iron Survivor Challenge. She talks about being a fan of Cena as a kid and Cena picking her for that match.

She says Julius Creed reached out to her about going to WWE. She says she didn't know what she was doing at the tryouts but fell in love with it. She says there's a different side of her NXT doesn't know.

Stone talks to Tatum Paxley up high in the back. Stone has to climb a ladder to talk to her. She says she will lay her to rest and send her to hell. We then see that Shiloh Hill built a casket for her and Tatum says it'll be a casket match. Hill and Tatum laugh. 

Darkstate talk in the back. Dion says Shugars won't listen to him and does whatever he wants. Shugars complains about last week and complains about having to worry about what Dion wants. Dion says he's not changing he plan and he likes him. Dion says they need gold to get to the top of NXT and say this is their only shot so why risk it?

WWE NXT Women's Title - Lola Vice (c) vs Jacy Jayne

They lock up and Lola throws her down. Jacy headscissors her. They trade chops. Lola seated springboard armdrags her. Jay armdrags her back. Jacy shoulders her over. Lola goes for the armbar then hits her in the gut. Lola spin kicks her in the gut and sends her out. Lola la silla's Lainey Reid outside then Jacy facekicks her down outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Jacy superkicks her in the gut and Lola spin kicks her in the gut. Lola germans her. Lola hits spin kicks then a kick combo. Lola hits corner hip attacks and backdrops her. Lola la silla's her for 2. 

Jacy superkicks her. Lola spinning roundhoue kicks her, sending her out of the ring. Lola argues with Lainey outside then Jacy pump kiks her inside. Jacy backsplashes her then slaps her. Lola triangles her over the top rope and Fallon Henley wraparound kicks Lola on the post. Jacy gets a 2 count on Lola.

Lola guillotine chokes her. Lola back rolls her for 2 and is hit by Lainey. Lola uraken's Jacy and pins her.

Thoughts: Lola was the favorite but they did do a good tease of making it seem like she might lose. It was mostly all strikes and worked out a bit better than I expected. It was an acceptable main. I would have to think this is close to the end of Jacy in NXT. 

Kali Armstrong comes out and wipes out Fatal Influence. Kali and then Kendal Grey then get on the apron and look at Lola. Izzi Dame then appears on the riser with The Culling. Zaria then comes out. Sol Ruca jumps on Zaria and they fight.

Overall thoughts: It was a decent show. Nothing was bad but nothing was great. We had a lot of talking on this one and they did a decent job of setting up things for next time. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall and I liked it. I don't think there was a clear match of the night though.
