We are in Phoenix, Arizona. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are on commentary. Pat McAfee is off tonight.

We see various wrestlers arrive. Nikki Bella is in the house.

John Cena comes out. Cena says the fans taught him truth is a lie and said the fans wasted their energy on a sideshow comedian whose greatest accomplishment is pretending to be him. Cena insults the fans. He says R-Truth is a gimmick that they won't care about in another year. He says Truth will never use him to benefit his pity parties again.

Cena's counter on the screen says he's down to 19 dates. He says this is almost over and says to use their voice to send him competition, not the class clown. He says he has beaten the fan's best.

CM Punk comes out. Punk says he has a lot to get off his chest and is prepared to have the conversation with his fists. He says Cena will listen to all he has to say. 

Punk says the roles are reversed with Cena going against the establishment and Punk defending it. Punk says he's not here to defend the billionaires but the people. He says Cena beat Cody because he takes shortcuts. Punk says the people are his boss and Cena holds his title up. Punk says if the people want the truth, they're gonna get Ron Killings.

Punk says they are all spokes on a wheel and says it's time he taught Cena that. He said it starts by taking the title off Cena's shoulder. He said Cena knows what he's doing is wrong. Punk says the title has corrupted Cena. Punk says he's afraid of the man he becomes when he's champ. Punk says he has to become a monster to stop the monster. Punk says Cena has 18 dates left and he'll let him decide which one he takes the title off of him at. Punk says he should say that date is tonight.

Cena says let's do it, but not tonight. He says Punk needs to follow him to Saudia Arabia and says they will do it at Night of Champions. Seth Rolins comes out with his crew. He holds up the MITB briefcase.

Chad Gable vs AJ Styles

AJ side headlocks him and they trade armdrags. AJ Japanese armdrags him then Chad trips him into a side headlock. AJ hits a nice dropkick then gets swept on the apron. AJ is then suplexed on the floor.

We go to break and return. AJ hits a spinning torture rack drop for 2. Chad release germans him. Chad then hits a top rope diving headbutt for 2. AJ powerbombs him and The Creed's interfere as AJ goes for a styles clash. Chad is pulled to safety. AJ sliding knees Julius from the apron then diving forearms Brutus off the apron.

AJ goes for a springboard and Chad does an ankle lock off of it. AJ rolls him into a styles clash and wins.

Thoughts: It was short but I liked what we got here. They had an athletic match and the two worked well together.

Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez talk in the back. RP says she has a plan. Liv says she will advance in the tournament and win her title back. RP agrees and says they should work together so one of them wins for Judgment Day. Liv asks her to stay out of her way. RP says may the best woman win and Liv says she will. 

Queen of the Ring 1st Round - Rhea Ripley vs Roxanne Perez vs Liv Morgan vs Kairi Sane

Sane beats up on RP. RP saves Liv from a Rhea german. Sane jumps off Rhea's back with a forearm on RP. Liv dropkicks Sane. Sane hits a double basement dropkick on RP and Liv. Rhea knees Sane in the gut and low dropkicks her.

Sane hits a running headhunter for 2. Rhea facekicks Sane out of the corner. RP is back body dropped out. Liv hits a running step up knee on Sane in the corner. Rhea headscissors Liv and RP saves Liv. Rhea goes for riptide on Liv and RP clips Rhea.

Rhea takes a codebreaker into a russian legsweep. Sane is double gorilla pressed out onto Rhea outside. We goto break and return. Sane chops Liv and sliding forearms her. Sane sliding forearms Liv in the corner. Rhea dropkicks RP hard in the corner. Liv step up enzugiri's then springboard codebreakers Rhea for 2. 

Sane alabama slams RP. Rhea slams Liv and RP down from the ropes and Sane diving forearms Rhea off the top. Sane hits forearms on Rhea then axe kicks her. Sane stunners Rhea off the casadora. Rhea is sent int othe buckles and Liv stomp flurries her. RP superkicks Rhea in the corner. RP superkicks Sane and Sane take a backcracker.

Rhea hits lariats on Liv and RP, dropkicks RP and germans Liv. Rhea fallaway slams RP. Rhea running facekicks Sane then headbutts RP. Rhea blocks Liv's oblivion. Rhea hits riptide on Liv but Raquel Rodriguez pulls Rhea off the pin attempt. Those two fight and Sane top rope diving elbows both outside. Sane top rope diving elbow drops Liv but RP jack knife pins her while she's on top and wins.

Thoughts: I liked the match here. They told a good story with Liv and RP having to work together and RP stealing the pin at the end. We had some good athletic action here and they kept a nice pace to it.

Becky Lynch walks around in the back.

We get a video on Nikki Bella. We then see her talk to Maxxine Dupri and Natalya. She says she loves them and hugs them. Seh then runs into Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky. She introduces herself. She says she respects Iyo. Iyo says she paved the way for them and says it's nice to meet her.

Becky Lynch comes out to talk. 

She said the crowd should say she deserved it. She said she doesn't get a lot of chances to do something new in her career and did with the Women's IC Title. Becky says the greatest opportunity the title ever got was when she won it. She says the IC Title became the greatest prize in wrestling because she is the owner. She said Lyra Valkyria ruined everything.

She complains about how Lyra raised her hand after he match. She then said Lyra tried to kill her. She says she will ask her to come out and apologize and raise her hand right. Lyra Valkyria comes out then Bayley nails Becky from behind. Bayley pounds on Becky. Lyra is shocked. Becky runs out and runs into Lyra, who throws her back in. Bayley goes for roseplant and Becky leaves through the crowd.

A guy in hoodie comes on the commentary table and it's R-Truth. He says not to let anyone tell you that you don't matter. He said they heard, they listened, they felt and they understood. Truth says he's back because of the fans. Truth says the fans brought him back and says we won. Truth says he's back for the fans but for him too. He says they brought Truth back but they got "me".

Truth says we all love R-Truth but says R-Truth can be too funny, too nice and too forgiving. He says "not me". He says he feels different and alive. He then has a message for all the fans who think he's a sideshow act and a gimmick. Truth then cuts off his braids.  He says the truth has set him free. He says he is Ron Killings and is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. He says to put some respect on his name.

Thoughts: I wasn't a fan of this. I'm not a fan of messing with what works and Truth was at his highest stock ever recently. I also didn't like him implying that he was acting stupid on purpose by being R-Truth. Truth has also been clearly losing his hair and I don't know if bringing more attention to that was a good idea either.

The Judgment Day talks in the back. Finn asks if it's strange that Dom got in KOTR but Finn didn't. Dom says he didn't think Finn would mind. He asks if he's upset and Finn says he will do great. JD says him and Finn go after the tag titles. Finn says everything will work out perfectly. Perez comes in and Finn makes them congratulate her. Liv and Raquel come in. Liv is mad. RP says she helped Liv out. Liv says congrats but isn't pleased.

We get a video on Mr. Iguana, who was a smash hit this weekend at World's Collide (I predicted he would get over). They mention he's a mixed tag champ in AAA as well.

Seth Rollins' crew talks in the back. Seth says this is an all out assault on both world title.s Seth says whether they take them by victory or heist, absolute power will be theirs. Bron then barks and walks off.

King of the Ring 1st Round - Sami Zayn vs Penta vs Dominik Mysterio vs Bron Breakker

Dom slides out and Penta tope con hilos him to start. Sami pounds on Bron. Bron drives him into the corner and hits corner spears. Bron belly to belly overhead suplexes Sami. Penta's springboard is caught by Bron and he is slammed off of it. Bron running lariats Dom.

We go to break and return. Penta hits shots on Bron then Bron belly to belly suplexes him. Bron hits punches on Sami in the corner. Bron throws Dom by the throat. Sami forearms Bron. Dom jawbreakers Bron and Penta superkicks Bron. Bron's opponents then triple club and stomp him. Dom then pushes Penta and Sami and rolls up Penta for 2.

Penta flying headscissors Dom then corner enzugiri's him. Penta then does a handstand pendulum dropkick in the corner for 2. Sami walks up the buckles and tornado ddt's Penta down for 2. Sami hits punches on Bron, Bron running spears him and pounds on him. Bron hits Sami in the gut. Sami slaps Bron then him and Bron hit forearms. Bron is pulled over the top. Sami seated moonsaults Bron outside. Penta then top rope plancha's Sami outside. Dom then tope tornado ddt's Penta on the floor. Bron then diving lariats Dom onto the commentary table from the apron.

We go to break and return. Penta powerbombs Dom. Bron runs up the buckles and hurricanrana's Sami down. All four men are down. Bron and Penta trade shots. Bron jumping knees him and Penta superkicks him. Bron gorilla presses Penta but is ddt'd.

Penta is thrown out and Dom tries to steal a pin for 2. Dom hits 2 amigos on Sami then Sami blue thunders him for 2. Penta superkicks Sami then cranks his arm back. Penta hits a made in Japan on Sami then Dom crucifixes Penta for 1.

Penta superkicks Dom then slingblade facebusters him. Penta hits a canadian destroyer on Dom for 2. Bron stomps on Dom. Bron runs around the ring and hits a big spear on Penta. LA Knight then comes out and BFT's Bron on the floor. Sami exploders Dom in the corner then running facekicks him for the win.

Thoughts: It was a good match with tons of action and lots of flying. I had high expectations for it and this met them. Sami's been losing a lot lately and somewhat been cooling off so it's nice to see him get a win.

Cathy Kelly interviews AJ Styles in the back. AJ says he can't enjoy tonight because he can't stop thinking about what happened last week. AJ says Seth had Paul Heyman threaten him last week. He says Judgment Day are also running their mouths. He says if you disrespect him, he's gonna punch you in the mouth. He says if you don't believe him ask Gable, but he says he will ask him himself.

We then see The New Day and Grayson Waller arguing. Waller leaves. Kofi says they just defended their titles 2 weeks ago. Woods says they are losing for a #1 contender and Kofi says they have too much respect to defend the titles against just anyone. Kofi says we should be thankful of champs like them who elevate the titles. Woods says we should all get on our knees and thank God for The New Day.

Triple H does a taped video talking about Wrestlemania. He says Wrestlemania was successful and says they are running it back to Las Vegas. He says Mania returns in 2026 and asks if we are ready.

We get a video on Asuka, who returns next week.

Nikki Bella comes out to talk. She talks about some of the girls on the roster. She says it's good to be back. She says she's here to talk about something special that is happening next month and it's WWE Evolution. She says there's so much talent in the locker room and says it's insane. She says the women of the past couldn't be more grateful about where the women are.

Liv Morgan comes out. She says she better mention her when shetalks about the best women in the division. She says she's the most talented woman in this division. Liv puts herself over. Liv says she didn't mention her as Nikki is jealous of her. She says he has everything Nikki doesn't.

Nikki says she knows Liv lost tonight and is angry. She says she's trying to figure out who Dom belongs to - Liv or Perez? She says to congratulate Perez for taking her title shot and her man. Nikki heads to the apron. Liv says she's still a champ while Nikki is just a reality show diva. Nikki comes back in and Liv hits oblivion. Liv says this is her division.

World Heavyweight Title - Jey Uso (c) vs Gunther

Jey comes through the crowd as usual and has a long entrance. They stare down.

Jey is taken down earlier and goes for the choke early. Gun stops him. Jey hits punches then puts the choke on again. Jey goes for a superkick and Gun slides out. We go to break and return. Gun is pushed off the buckles and Jey top rope crossbodies him for 2.

Gun boots him in the gut. Gun knees Jey in his taped up ribs. Gun backbreakers him. Jey hits punches and Gun suplexes him. Gun rips off Jey's rib tape. Gun hits a hard knee to the body. Gun chops him. Gun misses a corner charge and Jey puts the choke on him. Jey then germans him. Jey runs at him then is put in a sleeper. Gun is then rolled out. Jey goes for a tope and is hit. Gun is sent into the post outside then Gun germans jey on the floor. 

We go to break and return. Gun and Jey go for suplexes and Jey suplexes him. They trade forearms. Jey hits punches then spinning enzugiri's him. Jey misses a corner hip attack. Gunther goes for the sleeper twice. Jey pulls Gun over the top to the floor. Jey topes him outside. They are both down on the floor. Gun rams him into the rails and backdrops him on the top of the rail. Jey gets his knees up on Gun's top rope splash. Jey spears Gun. Jey hits a top rope splash for 2.

Jey runs at him and is lariated. Gun is hurricanrana'd for 2. Jey superkicks him then sleepers him. Gun backbreakers him to escape. Gun jack knife powerbombs him for 2. Gun then hits his own spear on Jey for 2.

Gun hits a hard lariat. Gun hits more lariats. Jey sleepers him then Gun sleepers him. Jey rams Gun into the corner and superkicks him. Jey then hits a spear. Jey misses a top rope splash. Gun lays on Jey's back and sleepers him.

Jey gets up but Gun pulls him back down with the sleeper. Jey then puts his own sleeper on. Jey grounds Gun with it. Gun hits an elbow flurry then grounded sleepers Jey. Jey is out and Gunther wins! Gunther is the new champ.

Thoughts: This was much better than their Mania match. It got more time than that match did, which shouldn't have happened. I liked it but Jey does need to make his offense look better. I liked them trading sleepers on each other and I popped for the Gunther spear. Something had to be done with Gunther. He would have been out of things to do without the title and now that problem is solved. I guess this leads to another Jey/Gunther match. It's not impossible that Jey wins the title back someday, but it doesn't feel like it'll be a priority. I don't think they built this title win up well though as Gunther has been an afterthought since losing it.

Overall thoughts: This was the best Raw in a while at a time when WWE needed it. This show had everything you could ask for with a world title change, a lot of good wrestling, R-Truth turning into a new character and Nikki Bella coming back. It doesn't get much better than this and I'd give it a 9 out of 10. This was a great Raw.
