Genesis vs Princess Aussie

The announcers call it a main event caliber match and I agree.

Gen boots her in the gut and side headlocks her. They trade armlocks. Aussie rolls and headflips out then snapmares Gen. Aussie elbow drops her for 2. Gen throws her backwards then legdrops her for 2.

Gen hits knees to the gut. Gen spinning heel kicks her in the corner then foot chokes her. Aussie back kicks her in the gut then Gen straightjacket neckbreakers her. Gen pounds on her. Gen misses a spinning move off the 2nd rope.

Aussie backdrops her for 2. They each duck kicks and Gen spinning heel kicks her for 2. Gen does her x-choke (straightjacket choke) to Aussie. Aussie then snapmares her and does it to her. Aussie rolls her up for 2.

Aussie dragon suplexes her for 2. Gen pump kicks her. Aussie knees her out of the corner then Aussie cradles her. Gen reverses it and pins her with her feet on the ropes.

Thoughts: I wasn't high on this one on paper as neither needed to lose, but it worked out well. The match matched style wise and they had a match above normal WOW standards. Both looked good and I liked this.

Princess Aussie gets on the mic after. She says she's frustrated. She asks how can she come out here and win when she's the only one playing fair? She says Gen pinned her with her feet on the ropes. She said Pink beat her with outside help and Classmaster hit her in the head with a book. She says it feels like she's the only one playing by the rules. Aussie asks David McLane to do something. David says he can't on commentary. 

Animal Instinct (Catarina Jinx and Goldie Collins) vs Chantilly Chella and Roxxy Fierce

Rox and Goldie lock up. Goldie forearms her chest then Rox waistlock takedowns her. Rox backslides her. Chella and Rox corner splash Goldie. Rox butt drops Goldie's back. Chella tries it but is pulled down. Chella's head is banged off the buckles. Chella rolls up Jinx for 2.

Chella 2nd rope diving armdrags her then dropkicks her. Jinx knees her in the gut. Chella's head is banged off the buckles then Goldie slams her. Chella is put in tree of woe and booted.

Chella takes a double suplex for 2. Jinx hits flying kicks. Goldie and Jinx then hit boots at the same time on their opponents. Chella hits a double neckbreaker off a double suplex attempt. Rox gets in and shoulders over both opponents.

Rox backdrops Jinx then sitout gordbusters Goldie for 2. The faces do stereo sunset flips and wins.

Thoughts: It was an acceptable match with a surprise finish. Both sides did what they were supposed to do here and the faces ended up getting the win. I was fine with this but Animal Instinct probably should win these kind of matches.

Veronica Varoom does a promo on Xena Phoenix. She calls her a 2-headed chicken and says they don't fight to win where she comes from, they fight to survive. She says Xena will find out why they call her Vicious Veronica Varoom.

Vicious Veronica Varoom vs Xena Phoenix

Xena waistlock takedowns her and rolls her up. Xena suplexes her. VV is thrown out then slaps Xena on the chest. VV bulldogs her for 2. Xena backrolls her for 2. VV shoulders her over for 2. Xena misses a corner charge and VV splashes her.

VV snapmares her then does the devil's kiss. Xena surfboards her. Xena armdrags her then monkey flips her. Xena fireman's carry takeovers her then armbars her.

Thoughts: VV really needs to work on her strikes as they barely hit here, but she has the personality otherwise. Xena moved really well here and had a good showing. The match wasn't too much to speak of.

Miami's Sweet Heat come out to talk. Lindsay said she never thought she would wrestle her sister. She said she should have known about Holly Swag as she turned on her mom. Laurie says her trainer Afa told her family is everything. Laurie says Holly messed around and messed up. She said she can't break this bond. Lindsay threatens Pink and Holly. Penelope Pink and Holly Swag come in from behind with chairs but MSH blocks them and the heels leave.

David McLane has words for the heels. Penelope Pink says if MSH wants her in the ring, it comes at a price. Pink says to pay up. McLane says he will make a match next week between the two teams. McLane says if a weapon is brought in, the person who did it will be fined and disqualified. 

The Alliance yell at a camera man in the back and say to get out of their closed meeting.

Sibley Scoles interviews Xena Phoenix. Xena says her family is her biggest motivation and she wouldn't have the confidence without them. She says she got her win fair and square tonight and wants to see where the journey takes her. Xena says we will see what happens and the result will come.

Tormenta vs Sylvia Sanchez is next week.

Reina del Rey vs Santana Garrett

Rey backs her up in the corner and shoves her. SG slaps her in the corner then hits forearms. Rey is pulled over the top. Rey stalls outside and regroups with her friends.

Rey blocks a sunset flip. SG jawbreakers her. Rey's buddies trip SG. SG hangs over the apron and Rey running knees her. Rey chest forearms her outside then foot chokes her against the post. Rey stomps her in the ring then corner splashes her.

Rey electric chairs SG and drops her face first on the top buckle. Rey's buddies pull on SG's arms over the top rope. Rey misses a running corner knee. Rey and SG double clothesline each other.

SG boots her out of the corner. SG cartwheel back elbows her. SG russian legsweeps her for 2. SG backrolls then headflips into a forearm on Rey. She then superkicks her and picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was a decent match here and I had no issues with it. I don't like Rey losing all the time because she's one of the bigger girls they have but SG also needed to get a win with what they were doing with her.

Overall thoughts: It was a decent episode of WOW. 3 of the 4 matches were solid and feud between Sweet Heat and Pink/Holly continues on. Genesis/Aussie was the best match of the night. It was a fine episode and I'd give it a 6 out of 10 total.
