We are in Dayton, Ohio.

Damian Priest heads to the ring and is interviewed by Byron. He says he was good at just getting his hands on Drew but now that he can do that and get the US Title, it's even better. LA Knight comes in. He says its them against Solo and Fatu tonight and asks what they will do. DP says he's concerned about LA having his back. LA says he didn't know trust was an issue. He says if DP has his back, he has his. He says if DP does dirt, he gets the dirt.

We see Jade Cargill arrive and throw a bottle at Naomi's picture on the truck. We then see others arrive.

LA Knight and Damian Priest vs The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa)

LA and DP argue over who starts and Solo nails DP. Solo chops him then headbutts him. DP ear claps him then hits kicks to the gut. DP spinning forearms him. DP jumping back elbows him then forearms him over. DP rope walks and crossbodies Solo. DP jumps off the steps and double axe handles Solo. Fatu gets distracted by DP then LA dropkicks him through the ropes. LA and DP argue about it as we go to PiP break.

Solo does a trapezus hold on him. Solo headbutts him in the back and takes a big forearm. DP back elbows him and goes for the tag but Solo knocked LA off the apron. Solo splashes DP from behind then samoan drops him. Solo headbutts him. Solo corner hip attacks him. DP hits a spinning heel kick.

LA and Fatu get in. LA hits punches on Fatu then russian legsweeps him. Fatu misses a corner splash and takes a neckbreaker. LA slams Fatu. LA elbow drops him. LA backdrops him. DP blind tags himself in. DP lariats him. LA tags himself in. LA is knocked into him. Solo misses a samoan spike and takes a BFT. LA then wins.

Thoughts: They had every reason for the heels to win here and they still couldn't manage it. That does not bode well for Solo. The match wasn't much due to the story of LA and DP not getting along.

LA and DP fight after then Fatu nails both. LA and DP are sent into the posts shoulder first then take hip attacks. Drew McIntyre then claymore kicks Fatu and grabs the US Title.  

Truth has a "Let's Go Cena" sign outside. Jimmy Uso comes up to him. Truth says Cena is in the house and is excited for him. Uso says he sucks. Truth says Cena said he would never give up and says Uso has thrown in the towel.

Drew is interviewed in the back. He says he laid out Fatu as it was a message to him. He says he will put a silver bullet in him tomorrow. Drew says he's a details guy and says LA shouldn't be in the match tomorrow as he lost at Mania. He says he beat Priest at Mania so he shouldn't be in either. He says Fatu says he's all gas and no breaks but no breaks are great until you hit a brick wall. He says the brick wall is Drew McIntyre.

The Secret Hervice are having a vigil with candles in the back for Green's title loss. Nick Aldis and Zelina Vega come in. Aldis says this is his office. Green says they are in mourning. Vega says she's morning a title she lost fair and square. Green says Vega has 0 girl friends. Vega asks for a trios match with them and her 2 non-existent girl friends.

Aleister Black does a video. He says he buried the man he was before so he can't pick up where he left off. He came back as he's the consequences this company needs. He says he's here to confront you mentally and physically. He says he hasn't figured Carmelo Hayes out yet, or has he?

Thoughts: Yeah, it was the usual Black nonsense.

The Secret Hervice (Chelsea Green and Piper Niven) vs Zelina Vega and Alexa Bliss

PN misses a splash and slams Vega. Green misses a springboard splash then takes a kick from Vega in the corner. Vega hits a double 619. PN kicks Vega from the apron then Green flips Vega. PN elbow drops Vega then poses on her. We go to break and return.

Vega is thrown into the corner. PN misses an elbow on Vega then headbutts her. Vega ddt's PN. Bliss is tagged in. She shoulders over Green then dragon screws her. Bliss flying headscissors her then meteora's her in the back of the neck. Bliss then headhunters her for 2.

Green gets stuck in tree of woe and takes a basement dropkick from Bliss. Bliss hits a corkscrew splash off the top onto Green. Vega hits a code red on PN with help from Bliss. Vega meteora's Bliss off the apron. Bliss hits sister abigail on Green and pins her.

Thoughts: It was odd that Bliss didn't make Mania and came back here. I don't get that one. The match was average and not too much of note. Bliss' top rope corkscrew splash looked nice.

Rey Fenix and Santos Escobar talk in the back. Rey says he beat him last week and it's over. Santos says he has one thing to say. He says who said anything about a conversation? Los Garza then nail Rey from behind and send him into boxes. Officials then break it up. 

Charlotte Flair arrives and talks in the ring. She says our queen has arrived. She says she had one of the greatest matches in Mania history. She said she took the champ to the limit after coming back from injury. She says she's here to announce her path back to the WWE Women's Title. She asks why the fans are so disrespectful to her. She says if they continue, she will leave and not come back. She goes to leave and Jade Cargill comes out. They stare down as Jade heads to the ring. Jade tells Flair she had her chance and to go to the back of the line.

Flair and Aldis argue in the back. He's mad about her walking out. He tells her to be a leader. She goes into her car and Bliss slams the door. Bliss says let's chat.

#1 Contender's Match - Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax

Tiffany Stratton comes out to watch.

Jade and Nia lock up. Jade puts her in the corner and Nia calls for a timeout. Nia misses a charge then shoulders her over. They shoulder each other and Jade is knocked over.

Nia running back elbows her. Jade hits forearms then flying forearms her. The crowd chants "you can't wrestle" and I don't know who that is for. Nia samoan drops Jade then legdrops her for 2. We go to break and return.

Jade has an armbar on. Nia lifts her and misses a butt drop on her. Jadesamoan drops her. Nia knees her in the gut then Jade suplexes her. Jade hits superkicks then spinebusters her for 2. Nia hits a sitout powerbomb for 2. Nia is on the bcukles and is thrown off. Jade hits a top rope splash for 2. Jade pump kicks her for 2. Naomi comes out and nails Tiff.

Jade gets distracted. Nia sentons Jade. Nia then hits a banzai drop to win.

Thoughts: It wasn't that bad. I expected something awful here. Nia getting thrown off the buckles was a nice highlight and I was surprised to see Jade do a splash off the top.

The Street Profits are in the back and run into Michin and B-Fab. Fab says their TLC match was fabulous and says they look good. Ford says Fab and Michin put everyone on notice.

The Street Profits come out to talk. They say they are the talk of the town and put the greatest tag match on of all time. Ford talks about using the one fan's fake leg in the match and makes jokes. He says they came out on top like they always will.

Fraxiom comes out. Frazer says it feels good to be here. He says they are rubbing shoulders with the tag champs and maybe the best tag team in the game. He says Shawn Michaels told them to take the oppurtunity when they see it. Axiom says they are amazing but says the titles would look great on Fraxiom.

Dawkins says they only won 2 matches and questions them thinking they deserve a title shot. Nick Aldis comes out. He says he likes what he's seeing and wants them to fight right now. Ford is shocked.

The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) vs Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Fraxiom)

We join this in progress. Ford is held and takes a running kick. AD shoulders over NF. AD cartwheels over him and NF running kicks him. NF side headlocks takeovers him. AD hits a flying back elbow. AD pounces NF into the commentary table.

Ford does a slingshot swanton on NF then running kicks him in the ribs. AD splashes NF while Ford stomps NF for 2. AD corkscrew splashes NF in the corner for 2. NF enzugiri's AD then hits a short ddt. Ax superkicks Ford then is lifted into a dropkick on him. NF and Ax then do topes outside. 

We go to PiP break and return. NF misses a phoenix splash off the top and is flapjacked. Ford hits shots on both opponents. He running lariats Ax then backdrops him. Ford standing moonsaults Ax for 2. NF rolls up Ford for 2. Ford superkicks him.

Ford is sat on the top rope and enzugiri'd. NF is caught in an electric chair and takes a blockbuster doomsday device for 2. Ford enzugiri's Ax. Ford comes off the top and is superkicked. AD enzugiri's Ax. NF then goes to tope AD but is hit. AD gets stuck up top. Ax hits a top rope spanish fly on AD. NF then hits a phoenix splash for 2.

AD sky highs NF. Ax dropkicks AD outside. Ford misses a top rope splash. Ford takes a top rope dropkick + legsweep and is pinned.

Thoughts: The Profits had bandages all over them and were selling their various injuries a lot. I guess it excuses them losing some here but I think it's a little soon for Axiom and Frazer. They just haven't been established much here or had many segments to get over who they are, so the timing wasn't right. The match was fast paced and full of flying as would expect. I liked the match but wished the injures would have been worked on more. 

Tiffany Stratton is looking for Naomi in the back. She runs into Nia Jax. Nia says it's not easy being champ is it? She says she's the #1 contender. Tiffany says when she beats her, she will make sure there's a spot for her at the loser's table next to Charlottle Flair.

The Miz and Carmelo Hayes talk in the back. Miz said he got film on Black and said Melo would have learned a lot from it if he studied it. He says he will show Melo where he needs to be to get the job done. He says Melo will run the plays as he designed them.

Carmelo Hayes vs Aleister Black

Melo front facelocks him. AB side headlocks him then side headlock takeovers him. Melo misses a springboard then AB sits down and stares at him. Melo hits boots and shots in the corner.

AB hits kicks to the body and Melo goes out. AB 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. AB misses a running dropick on the rails and is dropkicked over the rail. We go to PiP break and return. 

Melo stunners AB over the top rope. Melo is stuck up top and AB hits a jumping knee to the face. They trade forearms. AB hits strikes and legsweeps him. AB hits arunning knee then asai moonsaults him for 2. Melo cradles him off a suplex attempt. AB leg kicks him. Melo superkicks him then la mistica drops him. AB brainbusters him for 2. Miz distracts AB. Melo nails Miz on accident is rolled up for the AB win.

AB then spin kicks Miz in the face, knocking him out.

Thoughts: Black won as expected here. He looked good and a lot more inspired than he did in AEW. I don't really love Melo losing here though.

Solo and Fatu talk in the back. Solo says they need a gameplan for tomorrow and says we are out of soldiers. Fatu says he doesn't have a gameplan and says the three suckers better get in where they fit in. He says he will dogwalk everyone and that's his plan. He says he's all gas and no breaks. 

Fraxiom and The Motor City Machine Guns talk in the back. Fraxiom are excited about the big win. The Guns put them over. The Guns say they will face them at some point. DIY then attack them both. DIY says they didn't beat The Profits, they took advantage of them. Ciampa says only some low lifes would do that. 

Los Garza (Berto and Angel) vs Rey Fenix and Andrade

Rey chops Angel then 2nd rope reverse topes him. Rey crucifixes him. Rey is double stomped on in the corner. Berto kicks Rey in the back. Berto dropkicks Rey for 2. Rey chops Berto and tags out.

Andrade lariats and dragon screws Berto. Andrade is hit from behind and is sent out. Angel and Berto do stereo asai moonsaults outside. We go to break and return. Andrade poisonrana's Berto. Rey hits forearms on Angel and enzugiri's him from behind.

Rey does a springboard enzugiri + armdrag on both opponents. Angel pops up Rey into a kick. Andrade htis a flying forearm and Berto springboard enzugiri's Andrade. Rey then kicks Berto down. Angel corner splashes Rey then backrolls into a standing moonsault for 2.

Rey rolls into a hurricanrana on Berto but Berto counters it. Santos tries to distract the ref but it works against his team. Rey drives Berto's head into the mat. Andrade hits a spinning back elbow. Rey walks the top rope and kicks Berto. Rey tope con hilos Angel and Andrade hits the message on Berto to win.

Thoughts: We knew what this would be on paper and it was what you would expect. It was all flying and fast paced action with Legado losing as expected.

Santos gets in the ring after. He asks Berto what that was and pokes him. Berto slaps his hand away and walks off. 

John Cena comes out and asks the ring announcer to come in to do a big intro for him. A fan throws a bottle in and he brings it up. Cena says your childhood dies tomorrow. He says Orton isn't home and is with his family. Cena says they defined the Ruthless Aggression era and you either chose Orton or Cena. Cena says its their final match and you only get to choose one more time. Cena says he will prove life isn't fair, winners write the history books and Orton is a liar.

Cena says Orton has been lying to himself the most. Cena says Orton only has this job because of his family and was never held accountable for his failures. Cena says Orton isn't loyal and isn't the person you can count on. He says Orton is the GOAT of doing the minimum.  

He says Orton's dad only ever accomplished knocking up Orton's mom. He says Orton only rode his coat tails. He says Orton kills the legend of Randy Orton. He says he will be a failure like his last drug test. He says he is respect and is the greatest of all time. Cena says he makes history again and this is what a real champ looks like.

Someine in a mask comes out and tries to attack Cena but takes an AA. Orton then comes out and RKO's Cena. Orton then poses with the title to close the show.

Thoughts: It was the usual Cena heel segment. I don't think his heel character is that great and I wish they'd focus on two legends meeting for the last time instead of this stuff.

Overall thoughts: It was a boring show. The PPV is tomorrow so a lot of stars weren't wrestling and the ones that were took it easy. The Street Profits vs Fraxiom was easily the best match of the night but it wasn't a classic. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was very average and nothing you need to see.
