AAA Lucha Libre Alianzas TV 4/27/2025 Mexicali

We are in Mexicali, Jose Manuel Guillen and Roberto Figueroa are on commentary. 

We see clips of Alberto, Konnan and Mesias talking to someone. Then we see clips of a Tag with Alberto and Mesias vs Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. where Doc is low blowed and powerbombed. We then see Lady Sonic appearing during Flammer's match. We see Lady Shani turn on Flammer. We then see Mesias in a three way with Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr and Nino Hamburguesa.

Keyra does a promo on Flammer. She says she's the queen of strong and the queen of The Crash. She says she can be Queen of Queens again and said she didn't lose her title the first time.

Tonight we have Flammer vs Keyra for the Reina de Reinas Title and Nino Hamburguesa/Cibernetico/Hijo del Vikingo vs Alberto El Patron/El Mesias/DMT Azul.

Mesias is in the ring with Alberto and Konnan. Konnan says the kids are singing as El Ojo has returned. Alberto says the fans are used to taking orders and has beer thrown on him. He says the fans are behaving like savages and he says he will show how they sell out. He asks who wants to win 10,000 pesos?

A fan is brought in from Mexicali. He says he will give him the money if he can keep the ball in the air with 10 kicks. The kid fails. Alberto says he will give him another change. He says if he can dribble it 10 times with his hand, he will give him 15,000 pesos. The kid tries, Mesias takes the ball and throws it. Alberto laughs.

Latin Lover comes out with a pipe. He asks how everyone is. He apologizes for the heels in the ring and asks how they can do this. He says there's three of them and just one of him. He heads to the ring and chases Alberto away. The other heels then leave as he gets in.

Latin Lover asks for the kid to come back in. He apologizes and gives the kid 20,000 pesos (over $1,000 USD).

Thoughts: This was classic heel stuff here and was entertaining as usual.

Guillen holds up the AAA title at commentary. Figueroa asks if that's the same title Hijo del Vikingo held. They then tells us to look at what we have next.

AAA Reina de Reina's Title - Keyra (c) vs Flammer

 
Key is in the yellow and blue. Flam is in the black.

La Hiedra is with Flammer and Lady Shani is with Keyra. They lock up and break. They try again. Flam side headlocks her then goes up and over with a roll up. Key sweeps her then Flam armdrags her into a pin attempt. Key side headlocks her. Flam avoids a dropkick then Key reverses her roll up.

Key rolls her up for 2. Key rolls her up for 2 again. La Heidra and gets in the ring and the ref makes her get out. Flam's head is banged off the apron. Key does a seated moonsault on Flam for 2.  

Key stomps on Flam's face in the corner. Flam hits Key with a cookie sheet and gets a 2 count on her. Flam puts the cookie sheet between the buckles and Flam is sent into it. Key stomps on Flam. Key hits forearms on Flam then Flam flying neckbreakers her for 2. Key rolls up Flam for 2 then camel clutches her. The heel ref Hijo de Tirantes says Flam isn't tapping out and Key drops the hold to argue with Tirantes. Flam hits a la rosa driver on Key for 2.

Key basement dropkicks her for 2. Flam hits forearms in the corner. Key is on the 2nd buckle and is dropkicked for 2. Flam misses a cookie sheet shot. Key hits soul foot on her and double stomps her. Key then gets a 2 count on her off of Tirantes' slow count. Hiedra and Shani shove each other outside.

Flam takes a wasteland. Key gets on the 2nd rope and Hiedra hits Key with a cookie sheet. Flam pulls Key down then hits a hard basement dropkick in the corner. Flam then pins her.

Thoughts: It sucked. There were no rules so the heels cheated and won while the faces looked like idiots. This had a lot of rolling around and very basic offense. It did look like a real fight though, but more like one of those fights you'd see at McDonald's.

Laredo Kid does a promo. He says he's the Cruiserwieght champ and has defended it against foreign challengers. He says he's Laredo Kid and nothing can stop him.

Nino Hamburguesa, Cibernetico and Hijo del Vikingo vs Alberto El Patron, El Mesias and DMT Azul

Vik = Hijo del Vikingo

The heels attack as it starts. Azul rakes Nino's face and Alberto hits Nino with a cookie sheet. Vik also gets the cookie sheet. Azul throws Vikingo into the 3rd row. Alberto then hits a staff member with a cookie sheet as Azul beats up Vik in the 3rd row.

Alberto grabs tape and Nino is sent into the post. Azul chokes Vik with a cable. Ciber is double teamed then the ref and Azul whips Alberto into a corner lariat on Ciber. Ciber then takes corner lariats from the other 2 and the ref. The heels and the ref group stomp Ciber and pose.

Mesias hits Vik and Nino with the cookie sheet. Ciber is taped to the ropes. Azul spits at Ciber. Azul pulls Nino's shirt up then squeezes and punches his man boobs. Mesias then joins in. Alberto throws a beer in Ciber's face. 

Nino gets chopped by the heels then stomped on. Vik gets nailed as he comes in then is hit with the cookie sheet several times. The ref then hits Vik with cookie sheet. Vik is then thrown into the front row. Alberto hits Ciber with the cookie sheet more. Ciber breaks free and spears him. Vik hits a top rope dropkick on Mesias.

Nino hits punches on DMT then body blocks him. Nino splashes DMT and hits more punches. The fans throw beer at Alberto and hit Ciber. Vik takes Mesias up on the stage. Nino chokes DMT with his shirt. Vik hits Ciber with a cookie sheet. We go to break and return. Alberto grabs a staff member and uses him as a shield against Ciber. Ciber hits punches on Alberto. Nino rips up Azul's mask. Alberto's head is banged off he commentary table.

Ciber hits the ref with the cookie sheet. Alberto hides behind the commentators and is chopped by Nino. The commentators say, "nobody is here". Ciber hits corner punches on Alberto. Ciber lariats Alberto then elbow drops him. Vik hits a top rope frogsplash on Alberto. The ref stops counting then returns, allowing ALberto to kick out. Vik hits a top rope diving headscissors on Mesias. Mesias ddt's him.

Vik avoids being thrown out and corkscrew kicks Mesias out. Vik goes for a dive and is stopped by Azul. Nino and Azul square off. They splash each other in the corner. Nino butt drops him. Vik corner meteora's Azul. Alberto is dropkicked in the knee and goes into Azul's crotch. Both are then dropkicked in the corner.

Nino splashes Mesias. The ref is then put with the heels in the corner and Nino cannonballs all of them. Nino then does it again. The faces all try to get pins but the ref lays down like he's hurt. He then counts 2 counts. Alberto step up kicks Azul on accident. Alberto and Mesias are rolled up for 2 counts. Alberto tries a move on the ropes and goes out. Mesias takes a double spear.

Nino then topes Alberto and Ciber outside. Vik top rope moonsaults Alberto outside. Azul flying elbows Mesias. A board is put on the 2nd rope in the corner. Vik top rope crossbodies Azul. Nino bodyblocks Azul. Nino misses a splash and is german'd. Azul throws Vik out onto Nino outside.

Ciber jawbreakers Azul then hits him with the cookie sheet. Azul low blows Ciber. Ciber chokeslams Azul through the board on the 2nd rope. Ciber gets slow counted but pins Azul to win.

Thoughts: It went a little longer than it needed to. If you can ignore the BS with the ref, I'd say it was a good match. The heels were good jerks here and Nino was a likeable face in this one. But that does require ignoring the heel ref stuff which I find too hard to be believable.

Mesias beats up Azul after for losing. Alberto tries to stop him. Ciber watches as Alberto then beats up Azul. Mesias gets on the mic. He says Azul was a prospect of their group but is useless like the people. He says this is what happens. Ciber then heads to the ring. He hits Alberto and Mesias with the cookie sheet and Alberto/Mesias run.

We get a promo from JBL. He says people asked where he was. He says he's the most in-demand star in the world today. He said he worked for everyone. He said Alberto is the only person who compares to him down here. He says Alberto is a living legend. He says if you think parents getting sent back to this third world country is bad? Wait until he finishes the acquisition of AAA. He says Latin Lover stuck his nose in his business. He says he will let him sweep the floors and mow Alberto's yard. He says to get ready as TripleMania is coming and it will be the biggest spectacle in the history of lucha.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches and an opening segment. The opening segment was good and classic heel stuff. The women's match wasn't good. If you can ignore the heel ref shenanigans, the main was good with the heels being jerks and the faces being likeable. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall as I did like the main and the opening segment.
