2025 Last Stand Rumble
This is under the usual Royal Rumble rules, though I think the time between entrances is a little shorter.
Zilla Fatu enters at #1. Jay Alexander is in at #2. They go head to head and shove each other. They trade shots. Zilla corner splashes him then Jay hits a strike combo. Jay clubs him then spinebusters him. Zilla pop up knees him and lariats him over the top for the elimination.
Savage King is in at #3. King shotgun dropkicks him. King back elbows him in the corner and goes for the elimination. King is then thrown out. Rudy Garza is in at #4. Rudy hits chops and punches on Zilla in the corner. Rudy forearms and chops him. Zilla headbutts him. Rudy eye rakes him then hits a double underhook ddt.
Zilla pops up behind him and throws Rudy out while Rudy poses. Rudy Garza is eliminated. Cam Cole is in at #5. Cam pulls Zilla's throat down over the top, dropkicks him then pounds on him. Cam then does a strut with a chop. Zilla is sent to the apron and Cam thinks he has him eliminated. Cam celebrates then is superkicked and pop-up samoan dropped.
#6 is Josiah Jean and we finally get 3 men in the ring together. He misses a jumping side kick on Zilla. Zilla takes kicks from both opponents then a double superkick. Jean jumping side kicks Cole and tries to throw him out. #7 is Johnny Lyons. Lyons top rope diving forearms Jean then chops Cole. Lyons spinebusters him.
Jean clubs on Lyons from behind. Lyons bangs Jean's leg over the bottom rope. Lyons foot chokes Jean. #8 is Brenden Steen. Steen russian legsweeps Jean. Steen tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Jean. Steen 2nd rope facebusters Cole. Steen is back body dropped over the top and eliminated by Zilla. Zilla back body drops Cole then lariats him over the top for the elimination. Zilla then throws Josiah Jean over the top for the elimination. Zilla overhead belly to belly suplexes Lyons. Lyons then eliminates himself to get away.
#9 is Ryan Davidson. He stares down Zilla and they pound fists. Zilla hits chops. Ryan blocks a chop and hits his own. Ryan corner lariats Zilla then slams him. Ryan then does a running fist drop on Zilla. #10 is Moonshine Mantell.
Mantell hits punches on Ryan then drives him into the corner for spears and chops. Mantell then does corner spears and chops on Zilla. Mantell spinebusters Ryan. #11 is Semsei. Sem flips over Mantell then jumping chops him. He jumping back kicks Zilla. Sem step up knees Ryan in the corner then top rope crossbodies him.
Mantell chops Sem then Sem chops back. Dylan Fleer is next in at #12. Fleer hits chops on 3 people. He dances then is chopped by 3 people. Zilla headbutts Fleer down. #13 is Action Braxton. Action stunners Ryan, Fleer, Sem and Mantell. Zilla flies at him and is also hit with a cutter.
Action celebrates and Ryan hits shots on him. #14 is Chandler Hopkins. Hopkins pounds on Mantell then pele kicks Action. Hopkins forearms and chops Fleer in the corner. Hopkins falcon arrows Action. Action is pulled over to the apron and Hopkins springboard enzugiri's him out for the elimination.
#15 is Rhys Maddox. Rhys spinning headscissors Sem, He rolling snapmares Hopkins in a basement dropkick. Fleer takes a superkick from Fatu then Rhys jumping facekicks Fleer off the apron for the elimination. #16 is Danny Limelight.
Dannmy comes in and does a pedigree variation to Rhys before eliminating him. Hopkins tries to eliminate Danny but Danny skins the cat and standing spanish flies him. Danny then dropkicks Ryan. Danny takes a handspring enzugiri + backdrop combo. #17 is Primo Juanito. Primo tilt-a-wirl backbreakers Hopkins.
Primo and Ryan trade. Primo hits chops and forearms on him. Primo suplexes Danny. #18 is Quentin Wynters. Wynters hits facekicks then falpjacks Sem. Wynters is triple teamed. Wynters dropkicks Primo over the top for the elimination.
#19 is Blake Troop. Troop hip throws Danny then kicks him in the back. Troop hits shots to the gut on Ryan and forearms him. #20 is Terrale Tempo. Tempo hits euros on Zilla, Troop and Ryan. Tempo powerslams Danny. Temp slams Zilla then elbow drops him. Troop knee lifts Tempo. Danny jumps on Troop's back for a sleeper.
#21 is Chuck Koota. They say this is Chuck's ROW debut. Chuck dropkicks Danny. Chuck is thrown to the apron. Chuck then does a buckshot spear on him. Wynters hits mounted shots on Chuck. Zilla knocks Troop to the apron and superman forearms him out for the elimination.
#22 is Will Allday. Will enzugiri's Wynters then top rope elbow drops him while he's on Tempo. Will then throws Wynters over the top for the elimination. Tempo euros Will then Will superkicks Tempo over the top for the elimination. Zilla then throws Chuck over the top for the elimination. Will and Zilla then get hit by Danny and Ryan.
#23 is EC Brownie. EC hits lariats as he comes in then he black hole slams Will. EC corner lariats Mantell. Ryan hits EC from behind and falcon arrows him. #24 is Malik Bosede. Malik back elbows Danny and Will. Ryan hits Malik from behind. Malik enzugiri's him. Malik pounds on Zilla. EC and Hopkins try to push out Mantell with their feet.
#25 is AJ Francis. AJ hits forearms on Malik and EC then hits a hard lariat on Danny. AJ throws EC out for the elimination. Hopkins challenges AJ. Hopkins handspring enzugiri's him. AJ crotches Hopkins on the top rope then throws him out for the elimination.
#26 is Erik Lockhart. Malik goes after Erik and they fight outside. Mailk trips him inside and hits mounted shots. Malik and Erik end up on the apron. Erik eye rakes him. Erik eye rakes Malik. Malik's fingers are put in the turnbuckle connector and Erik pulls on them. Malik is pulled into the turnbuckle connector then Erik eliminates him with his foot.
#27 is Ajax. Erik neckbreakers Ajax. Ajax rebound germans Erik and tries to eliminate him. Will saves Erik and has some words for him. Ajax jawbreakers Erik. #28 is Edge Stone. Edge pounces Ajax out. Will gets on Edge's back and is thrown down. Edge flips him with a lariat. AJ and Edge almost hit each other but shake hands. Edge pushes Will back and knees Zilla in the face.
#29 is Jonathan Vega. Vega 2nd rope diving headscissors Danny. Vega STO's Erik then suplexes Will. #30 is Clay Roberts, the final entrant. Clay hits punches multiple people. Vega back elbows him. Clay throws Vega to the apron. Vega goes to springboard but is spinkicked out for the elimination.
Will and Clay hit shots. Erik sends both to the apron together. They both hit Erik then fight each other on the apron. Will superkicks Clay off the apron for the elimination. Will double stomps Erik on the apron and eliminates him. Mantell is knocked off the apron by AJ for the elimination. AJ celebrates then wIll superkicks him. Will superkicks Ryan then Danny. Will throws Danny over the top for the elimination.
Wynters comes back down and is superkicked off the apron by him. Tempo then jumps in and pushes Will off the apron for the elimination. Will then chases Tempo as Wynters laughs. Zilla, AJ, Edge and Ryan are the final four. Edge lifts Zilla into a suplex. Ryan is double teamed in the corner. Ryan pounds on AJ. Ryan corner splashes AJ then is corner splashed. Edge lariats Ryan over the top for the elimination.
Zilla is getting 2v1'd as AJ and Edge are buddies. Zilla takes a double back elbow. AJ accidentally running facekicks Edge off the apron for the elimination. Zilla hits forearms on AJ. AJ pushes him into the corner. They go in the ring and trade forearms. AJ shoulders Zilla over. AJ throws Zilla to the apron and celebrates. Zilla pulls AJ to the apron.
They fight on the apron. AJ eye rakes him. Zilla enzugiri's AJ then hits a springboard punch. AJ is knocked off the apron and eliminated. Zilla Fatu wins.
Thoughts: They definitely did make it seem like Zilla would win and he did. He not only won at the #1 spot but also set the record for eliminations during it, so he got quite the push here. It was your usual Rumble style match. They cut down on the time some by having new people come out after someone was eliminated which was nice. We didn't get a ton besides the eliminations here so it wasn't the greatest match ever. But it made sense and the crowd loved it. It was fine, just nothing too great.
Overall thoughts: There was only one match here, but it went over 45 minutes, so this was all action. The Rumble was fine but not must see. I won't rate this one as it was only one match but they promised a Rumble and that is what we got here.
