Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/05/aaa-lucha-libre-alianzas-tv-4272025.html
This was taped on 3/29/25.
We see clips of Konnan's heel El Ojo group arguing with Latin Lover and going against Nino Hamburguesa and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. We then see clips of Flammer winning a match.
We are in Mexicali, Baja California. Today's show has Pagano and Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Rey Misterio El Heredero and Oraculo. We also have Aero Star, Mr. Iguana and Octagon Jr. vs Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento, Nobu San, Takuma).
Anubis, Gallo Extreme vs Los Canchanillas (Kamikc and Skalibur)
Kam = Kamik, Skal - Skalibur, Anu = Anubis,
Kam is in the brown and yellow pants, Skal is in the red. The four shove each other. Gallo's team gets out of suplexes and does back rolls. Kami flying headscissors an opponent out. Kamik and his partner then do a tope and tope con hilo outside.
Kam does a top rope 450 while Skal does a top rope elbow drop. Gallo takes corner attacks then Kam jumps off his partner's back and dropkicks Gallo in the corner. Anu takes a flatliner then a 2nd rope legdrop on the neck from Skal.
Gallo takes a magic screw then a top rope diving headbutt from Kam. Anu is kicked in the leg by both opponents. Anu takes chops, is popped up and hits a hurricanrana off of it. Gallo top rope dropicks Kam. Gallo and Anu then do tope con hilos outside.
Kam takes a double hiptoss and double basement dropkick. Skal is hit from behind by both opponents. Skal takes a double flapjack. Skal then takes a leg drop + standing moonsault combo for 2. Skal superkicks Anu then is facekicked. Kam superkicks Gallo then Anu crucifix bombs Kam. Skal top rope diving lariats an opponent then is belly to belly'd into the buckles. Kam standing spanish flies him.
Kam and Anu trade chops. Anu tope con hilos Kam into the front row. Gallo takes a half and half suplex. Skal flying leg lariats him in the corner. Skal hits a top rope 450 on Gallo and wins.
Thoughts: It was a quick indy style match. There was no selling at all here, just super fast action with cool moves. The Anubis tope into the front row was indeed cool though.
Dalys does a promo on Flammer. She says Flam has seen what she's capable of and we see clips of Dalys doing moves to her. She says Flam messed with the strongest and no one forgives her for that. Flam says she's the Queen of Queens and the strongest in AAA. She says she will keep holding onto the title and no one will take it. DLays then goes up to her and demands a rematch. Lady Shani then comes in and grabs Dalys. The three then have to be separated by security.
Latin Lover comes out. He says he has a wrestler who is the real son of Rey Misterio and is the uncle of Dominic Mysterio. He brings out Rey Misterio El Heredero.
Pagano and Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Rey Misterio El Heredero and Oraculo
Pag = Pagano, Ora = Oraculo
The four trade punches to start. Hijo facekicks Ora. Pag back elbows Rey. Pag step up knees Rey in the corner then Hijo corner meteora's him. Ora's top rope crossbody is caught by Hijo. Hijo spinning forearms him. Pag corner splashes Ora. Hijo tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Ora. Ora takes punches and knees from both.
Rey comes in and hits a pumping knee and superkick. Rey corner lariats both opponents. Pag does a bad running STO on Rey for 2. Rey hiptosses Pag then flapjacks Hijo onto Pag. Oro asai moonsaults both opponents. Ora tries it again on Pag and Pag gets his knees up.
Pag hits chops and punches on Rey and drops him. Pag 2nd rope diving codebreakers Rey for 2. Ora hits an os cutter on Pag for 2. Hijo chops Ora and catches his springboard. Ora sunset flips him and Hijo rolls through. Hijo then hits a styles clash for 2.
Rey crossbodies Pag. Hijo headbutts Rey down. Hijo blocks Ora's flying headscissors. Hijo is pulled over the top and Ora asai moonaults him. Rey chairs Pag in the head. Pag air raid crashes Rey through a chair to win.
Thoughts: The only thing this Rey Misterio has in common with the more famous Rey Jr. is the name. He doesn't move well or much at all. It wasn't that good of a match. Oraculo got beaten up a bunch here. Most of Pagano's offense didn't look that good and Rey provided nothing here.
Aero Star, Mr. Iguana and Octagon Jr. vs Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento, Nobu San, Takuma)
Mr = Mr. Iguana, Oct = Octagon Jr.
Nobu San is Check Shimatani from GLEAT.
Mr and Takuma go at it. Takuma boots him then is back body dropped. Takuma rolls over his back then rolls him up. Mr ties up Takuma and Takuma's partners break it up. Oct and Aero takes a double dropkick from Takuma. Takuma grabs Mr's iguana toy then Mr gets chaired.
Takuma chokes Mr with a chair. Takuma hits Mr with his toy. Nobu then bites Mr's head. Nobu grabs the ref and Aero is double clubbed on. Aero is then stomped on by Kento and Takuma.
Oct's mask is tied to the ropes and he is stomped on. We go to break and return. Nobu misses a corner spear and goes into the post. Oct headscissors Nobu from the 2nd rope. Kento chops Takuma on accident. Oct walks up the ropes and does an armdrag + headscissors takeover on them. Oct then flips off of Kento's knee and flips into an armdrag on Takuma.
Oct springboard enzugiri's Kento. Nobu dropkicks Oct. Aero gets in and flying headscissors Aero.He shoulders over Takuma. Aero does a weird counter and dropkicks Takuma in the back. Aero rolls off of Takuma into a cutter on Kento then 619's Akuma.
Nobu comes in and hits Mr with his toy. Kento ends up catching Nobu's crossbody and Mr top rope la silla's both of them. Mr springboard headbutts Takuma. Mr sweeps Takuma with his toy. Mr walks up the ropes with Nobu's hand and his a diving headscissors on his partner. Oct and Aero do stereo topes.
Mr standing shining wizards Takuma. Mr grabs his toy to hit Takuma but can't for some reason. Takuma hits Mr. Mr takes corner attacks then is buckle bombed. Mr takes a 3D then Takuma 630's Mr off the top to win.
Thoughts: I liked everything except the finish here with Mr not attacking Takuma for some reason and losing the match over it. It was fun with fast action and both the heels and faces played their roles well here. It was a good main and Mr. Iguana is likeable with the right opponents.
Overall thoughts: The opener was an indy match with lots of cool moves, fast action and little selling. The second match had some different styles and didn't get enough to be anything special. The main was good with the faces being likeable and the heels being good heels while bringing some highlights. I liked this overall mostly due to the main but would just give it a 5 out of 10.
