Women's #1 Contender's Tournament Quarterfinals - Shotzi vs Isla Dawn
This is Isla's last match with the company as she got fired a few days later. I don't like her chances of winning this one. Alba Fyre was supposed to be in this one against Shotzi but they replaced here for some reason.
Isla rolls her up but Shotzi gets a pin attempt out of it. Shotzi side headlocks her then Isla puts her own on. Isla knees her in the face and bangs her face off of her knee for 2. Shotzi corner back elbows Isla. Shotzi 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2.
Isla enzugiri's her then backdrops her. Isla pounds on Shotzi then Shotzi high kicks her from the apron. Shotzi top rope thesz presses Isla for 2. Shotzi stomps on her and hits a corner senton. Isla top rope meteora's Shotzi for 2. Shotzi rolls up Isla for 2. Shotzi grabs Isla's ankle and ddt's her for the win at 2:46
Thoughts: It was short. Shotzi's finisher was unusual and didn't look that good here. We got a little flying out of this which was nice but it was pretty average.
Overall thoughts: There was only one match here (with Isla substituting for Alba Fyre) and it was just average with a bad looking finish. It was notable for being Isla Dawn's last match with WWE though. I wouldn't recommend this one.
