Note: There has not been any new matches on Xplosion for about the last month so I haven't covered it.

Around the Ring with Gia Miller

Jason Hotch is this week's guest. Gia says they were backup dancers for Mia Yim years ago in TNA. Hotch says he was in the locker room and told he needed someone to dance, so he agreed to it. He says he was a team player. Gia says he was the best dance partner she has had. Hotch said he needed black shoes and borrowed Tommy Dreamers shoes for it. They talk about dancing more and Hotch says they need to bring the dancers back for a Good Hands entrance. He then shakes hands with Gia and says John would kill him if he saw that.

John Skyler comes out and tells everyone to shut up. He says everything is bigger in Texas as this is the biggest collection of illiterate people he has seen in his life. He says he's seen some of the biggest women he's seen in his life and he says the fans are the biggest group of losers he's seen in his life. He says Maclin will lose like the Texas Longhorns

Steve Maclin vs John Skylar

Steve flying knees John as he enters. Steve then topes him. Steve hits chops in the corner and pounds on his back. Steve misses a crosshairs spear and is distracted by Hotch outside. John baseball slides him then Hotch gets a cheap shot in. John stomps on Steve.

John back elbows him then chinlocks him. Hotch distracts the ref on the apron. Steve nails Hotch on the apron. John then slingshot spears Steve for 2. Steve corner uranages John. Steve hits lariats then hits a thesz press with punches.

Steve corner lariats John then olympic slams him. John hits a knee and gets crotched up top. Steve then does a crosshairs spear. Steve hits a KIA and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and fine for what it was. John cheated and got some offense in before being put down as expected.

Overall thoughts: There was only new match and one new interview here. It was fine but nothing you need to see. I wouldn't recommend this one, though there's worse ways to spend 10 minutes.
