A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) vs Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa)

Otis gets hit by behind from Theory. Theory hits corner spears on Otis. Otis get double pounded on. He runs through the heels double lariat with one of his own. He airple spins Akira into the heels then gorilla presses him onto them.

Otis throws Waller in. Akira hits forearms on Waller then Theory pulls the ropes up on him sending him out. Waller slides out and lariats Akira outside. Akira takes a double sandwich forearm for 2. Akira takes a backbreaker then is dropped for a 2nd rope Waller elbow drop.

Waller chinlocks Akira. Akira jawbreakers Waller. Akira hurricanrana's Waller and Waller tags out. Akira then tags out after an enzugiri.

Otis running lariats Theory then spinning back elbows him. Otis back body drops hits opponent then overhead throws Theory. Otis corner lariats Waller. Otis caterpillar elbow drops Waller. Akira is crotched up top. Theory forearms Otis out. Theory then hits a-town down on Akira to win.

Thoughts: It was a decent opener type of match. They kept it moving, the faces had some nice sections and it was athletic. There was nothing wrong with this one.

Lyra Valkyria vs Alba Fyre

Alba's lucky to have a job after he partner got fired, but she had nothing to do before and really has nothing to do right now until they come up with a new direction for her.

They lock up. Alba piefaces her and backs off. Lyra side throws her. Alba then rolls her into a crucifix for 2. Lyra cartwheels and wristlock takedowns Alba. She then la magistral's her and bridges for 2.

Alba whips her down by the arm then backdrops her for 2. Lyra basement dropkicks her then northern lights suplexes her. Lyra dropkicks her through the ropes. We go to break and return.
They go in the ring. Lyra hits forearms then Alba superkicks her. Alba cartwheels over her back into a ddt. Lyra backslides her for 2. Lyra tries to roll her up but gets her arm stomped. Alba gordbusters her for 2.

Alba armlocks her. Lyra escapes and spinning heel kicks her. Lyra lariats her over then hits kicks. Lyra step up enzugiri's her then hits a fisherman's suplex for 2. Lyra comes off the buckles and runs into Alba's superkick.

Alba goes for a top rope swanton but Lyra gets her knees up. Lyra cradle shocks Alba and picks up the win.

Thoughts: They got a lot of time for this but it wasn't as good as it needed to be. Both girls needed to show a little more here than they did to make this work. Lyra almost begged the crowd to cheer at times. This was just average.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches as usual. The men's match was better than the women's match and I thought the men really made the most of their time without doing too much in their match. The women's match should have been better than it was. I wouldn't really recommend this one as there was nothing see here.
