Ariya Daivari vs Ashante "Thee" Adonis

This is their 2nd meeting in singles competition with Adonis winning their first battle in January. Adonis shoulders down Ariya early and Ariya starts work on the arm. Ariya takes over and punches him from the mount. Adonis hits a nice dropkick and gets crotched up top. They trade punches and Adonis flapjacks him then kips up. Adonis does a people's elbow like club over Ariya.

Adonis hits a nice crossbody from the top for 2. Daivari goes outside and is thrown back in. He then runs into a spinebuster for 2. Ariya pulls him by the hair to bang his head off the mat then hits a hammerlock lariat. He pulls up Adonis from a clear pinfall. Ariya frog splashes him form the top but Adonis reverses the pin attempt and wins it. This was an odd ending to a match that wasn't anything too special. I'm willing to bet we see these two in some kind of rematch next week.

We saw clips of the Jordan Devlin/Santos Escobar segment from NXT. They announce Escobar vs Devlin will be a title unification match at Takeover.

Jake Atlas vs Tony Nese

This is the 3rd time we've seen this one since December. Atlas is 5-0 against Nese all-time.

Atlas works the arm early. Nese grab's Jake's head and jumps over the top to slam his neck on the ropes. Atlas then has his back ran into the apron. Nese puts Atlas in a body scissors. Atlas is on the apron and back body drops Nese to the floor. Nese pops right back in though and lariats Atlas.

Nese goes back to the body scissors and backdrops Atlas. Nese hits a spin kick to the face and then puts on a bearhug. Atlas comes back with a brainbuster and a standing moonsault for 2. Atlas pump knees Nese and Nese does an asai moonsault for 2. Nese slaps him around and Atlas fires up with some shots. Jake hits a german and a spinning clothesline. He then hits his cartwheel ddt to win.

This wasn't good with the arm and backwork leading to nothing.

Overall thoughts: As always, 30 minutes really limits what this show can do. Neither match was good here and there weren't any promos or packages.
