Last week's show is here: http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2013/01/wwe-main-event-13020213-review.html
Cody Rhodes vs Sheamus
Cody came out and protested not being invited to the Elimination Chamber. He said they had 6 former champions and 6 failures. Cody tried to stage a sit-in to talk to Booker T about this and Cole informed him that Booker T isn't there. Sheamus then came out.
They jarred with each other and Sheamus did Vince McMahon impersonations before they went at it.
Sheamus won with a Brogue Kick, duh. It was a long squash for the most part though Cody got a little in but was never in the position to win. I really don't think this singles run for Sandow or Cody is a good idea at this point, but whatever. The match wasn't bad.
Daniel Bryan vs Damien Sandow
Sandow won in a rather quick match with a straightjacket neckbreaker after Kane interuppted DB with his pyro in revenge for Raw. The match wasn't bad but it was short and there wasn't a whole lot to it. Cole and JBL were on commentary and were ruining it. Also of note is that Sandow called Sheamus an albino Irishman pre-match.
Aksana and Tamina Snuka were bugging Brodus Clay about a dancing job backstage:
Cameron and Naomi had a problem with this and Aksana called Naomi "Kofi". The girls flipped out then and Brodus helped them back before they escaped and threw condiments on Aksana and Tamina:
They showed John Cena challenging The Shield to a Shield vs Ryback, Cena and Sheamus match at the Elimination Chamber. It won't be a chamber match though for some odd reason.
Brodus Clay came out and Tamina and Aksana attacked Naomi and Cameron.
Aksana and Tamina Snuka vs Cameron and Naomi
Naomi picked up the win after a kick on Aksana. It had a decent pace to it and was too short to really be bad. Naomi legitimately may be the best female worker next to Layla right now. She is seriously good and had energy that made this decent.
Overall thoughts: It was just okay. Nothing special or must see. I liked seeing Cameron and Naomi team up since they rarely do and the divas tag was something different.
