We are in Houston, Texas. Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness are on commentary.

FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn)

Dax and Gunn lock up. Dax side headlock takeovers him and is put in a headscissors. Gunn armdrags Cash into an armlock. Cash begs off when JR gets in. Cash shoulders JR over. Cash hiptosses him. JR upkicks and slams him. Cash backs up JR in the corner and hits chops. We see Bryan Keith and Big Bill watching in the back.

JR hits chops on Dax. FTR take stereo back body drops. Cash is back body dropped onto Dax outside. JR hits shots on FTR. Dax is atomic dropped. JR lariats Dax then Cash clips JR. Cash works JR's knee then butt drops it. 

Cash is pushed into the post shoulder first. Dax slams JR then misses elbow drops. JR hits a double ddt on FTR. Gunn trips Cash then hits jabs on Dax. Gunn hiptoss neckbreakers Cash and cradles Dax for 2. Cash pulls Gunn over the top rope. We go to PiP break and return.

Gunn and Cash double clothesline each other. JR comes in and hits punches on FTR. JR atomic drops them then bangs their heads together. JR lariats Cash over the top then he leg lariats Dax. JR corner cannonballs Dax then plancha's Cash outside. JR top rope crossbodies Dax but Dax rolls through and tries a pin on him.

Dax cradles him. JR forearms him. Cash powerslams him. Gunn crossbodies Cash over the top. Stokeley is grabbed by Bandido and Gravity in the crowd. They chase him up the ramp. JetSpeed then blocks Stoke. The luchadores superkick Stoke and Cash. JR does a ddt on Dax and pins him.

Thoughts: It didn't get a ton of time to be a classic and is nothing you would remember but what we got was fine here. The Gang getting a win over FTR is definitely something that should help them. I don't think we've seen the last of this feud.

We see a Kyle Fletcher interview from after Dynamite. Kyle says he was excited about the Mark Briscoe match but says he should be concerned. He says Mark is a deranged man and he could do anything to him in a TNT Title match. He says even if Mark loses the Full Gear match, he wins by joining The Don Callis Family.

Kazuchika Okada comes in. He says he's sorry Takeshita isn't there to support him, but he is. He says him and Kyle are the captains of The Don Callis Family. Okada says they will bond and they will be "Brotokada". 

AEW TNT Title - Kyle Fletcher (c) vs Ace Austin

Ace side headlocks him. KF works Ace's arm. Ace headflips out and is pulled down by the wrist. KF waistlock takedowns him. KF shoulders him over. Ace armdrags him and side headlock takeovers him. KF stalls outside.

KF facekicks him. Ace trips him and kicks him in the back. Ace la magistrals him then dropkicks him. Ace's springboard is caught and KF swinging backbreakers him. KF then swinging side slams him. We go to break and return.

KF sleepers him. Ace lariats him and russian legsweeps him. Ace legdrops him. Ace fosbury flops outside, barely hits it and lands hard on the floor. Ace hits a nasty 90 degree angle ddt and KF is hurting from it. KF apron powerbombs him. KF sitout powerbombs him for 2. 

KF corner facekicks him. Ace dropkicks him behind into the corner. Ace flying lariats him in the corner then hits a bunch of lariats. Ace reverse headscissors him off the 2nd rope and does some kind of move where he drives him into the mat. 

Ace is lawndarted into the 2nd rope. Ace helicopter kicks him. KF brainbusters him for 2. Ace cradles KF for 2. Ace bridge pins him for 2. KF superkicks him. Ace high kicks him. KF lariats him. KF corner facekicks him. KF brainbusters Ace on the top rope (not the buckle) and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like this. It was the usual dangerous Kyle Fletcher match where they did way too much and didn't sell much at all. Both guys avoided serious injury a couple of times here. 

Kris Statlander says Mercedes Mone has a lot that she doesn't. She says she has one thing that Mone doesn't - focus. She says she has total focus on being the women's champ and Mone doesn't. She says Mone was eliminated in tag tournament as she wasn't focused on her. She says she will go through whatever she has to in a tag tournament until Mone is focused on her. She tells her to focus on her. She says Mone will be focused but it won't make a difference at Full Gear.

We get a Death Riders promo from after Dynamite. Mox says they should give the other team the advantage as a courtesy. Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher come up to them. Don says Kyle has a high stakes match with Mark Briscoe. Don said he's happy when he thinks about what they will do to him and leave him as dogfood. 

Pac says they are done playing games. He says they will leave 5 bodies in the cage. He says whatever Don chooses to do with Mark after, it's his prerogative and they couldn't give a p!ss. 

Don says he would owe them a favor if they took care of him. Mox asks if they look like they need a favor from anybody. 

TayJay (Anna Jay and Tay Melo) vs Hyan and Maya World

Tay side headlocks Maya then is put in a top wristlock. Tay germans her. Maya rolls her up and is hit with a hard punch. Jay hits forearms on Maya in the corner then pulls her neck forward. Maya takes a double hip attack.

Maya jawbreakers Jay. Jay running back elbows Hyan. Hyan takes corner attacks then takes a gori special into a knee lift. Jay pins Hyan.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash and not much more here.

Athena is interviewed. Athena bullies Lexy and asks if she remembers who she and calls her a minion. She says she doesn't feel like forever women's champ as she got pinned by Harley Cameron. She says Harley feels special but she's not. She blames everyone else for the loss. She says if Harley can survive blood and guts, she will see that she doesn't need weapons to beat the crap out of her. 

Blood and Guts Advantage Battle Match 2 - Jamie Hayter vs Skye Blue

Jam rolls her up twice. Skye rolls her up with a bridge for 2. Skye backslides her. Jam forearms her and Skye goes out. Jam chases Skye outside. Jam goes into the steps. Skye pounds on Jam.

Jam hits chops on Skye. Jam spinebusters her then pounds on her. Jam hits mounted corner punches. Jam is flatlinered into the 2nd rope. Jam back elbows her out of the corner and misses a 2nd rope dropkick. Skye superkicks her for 2. 

We go to PiP break and return. Jam germans her then exploders her. Jam 2nd rope dropkicks Skye. Jami hits a corner lariat and a suplex for 2. Jam facekicks her for 2. Skye rolls her into a pin attempt then Jam reverses it. Skye superkicks her. Jam step up enzugiri's her. 

They trade forearms. Jam headbutts her and both go down for 2. Skye superkicks Jam's head into the buckles then powerbombs her for 2. Jam hits a rainmaker and pins her.

Thoughts: They tried. It had some moments where they didn't connect on strikes and it was a little indy at times but it was fine. Jamie won as expected here.

Julia Hart and Thekla jump Jamie after and throw her out. Willow and Harley come out to save Jamie. A big fight erupts and security tries to stop it with refs.

Blood and Guts Adavantage Battle Match 3 - Thekla vs Harley Cameron

They roll on the mat and pound each other. Thek throws her down backwrds. HC basement dropkicks Thek. HC chops her outside and russian legsweeps her on the floor. HC hits corner spears on Thek. HC corner splashes her. HC hits mounted corner punches. HC is pulled down face first on the buckles. 

Thek running facekicks HC. Thek suplexes her on the floor then does it again. We go to PiP break and return. Thek does a rings of saturn and grabs HC's mouth. HC jawbreakers her. HC hanging headscissors her over the top. 

HC swinging facebusters her. HC boots her in the gut in the corner. HC slingblades her for 2. Thek superkicks her in the face. HC high kicks her on the apron. HC goes up top and is hit. They trade shots on the top buckle. HC bites her and rubs Thek's face in her chest. Thek is in tree of woe and HC basement dropkicks her for 2. HC misses a top rope swanton. Thek spears her for the win.

Thoughts: Harley was good here. She was moving well and it was definitely one of her betting showings. Thek won as expected here as the heels always get the Wargames advantage as it leads to a better match. I liked this and I thought they did a good job here.

JetSpeed are interviewed. They say they aren't done with FTR. Kevin says they will be in the casino gauntlet at Full Gear. Kevin says may the best man win if it comes down to the two of them.

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens are interviewed. Bowens says The Acclaimed are never coming back and he's over it. He says he will be at the Tailgate Brawl for Full Gear. Max says he will be there too. Lexy says she was told by Tony that they do better ratings and draw more money together. She says she was told that if they will be at Full Gear, they better do it together. Max says Tony will regret what he did for him. Bowens says he's not coming and says to cancel the match. 

Tony says Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat will be at Blood and Guts watching.

Blood and Guts Advantage Battle Match #3 - Roderick Strong vs. Jon Moxley

Mox trips him twice and rolls him into a pin attempt. RS armlocks him. Mox rolling kimura's him. Mox flips off the crowd. They trade chops and RS pounds on him. Mox hits him back then hits mounted shots. Mox eye pokes him. 

Mox stomps the arm into the mat. Mox hits shots in the corner and corner spears him. They trade shots outside and RS gets his fingers split. Mox is sent into the steps. Mox is backdropped on the top of the rail. Mox sends RS' back into the steps. 

We go to PiP break and return. Mox pulls on the leg and RS ropebreaks. Mox rakes RS' back and pulls his ear. Mox suplexes him for 2. RS leg lariats him then step up enzugiri's him. RS drops Mox chest first on the mat for 2. RS double underhook powerbombs him. RS then does a strong hold.

They trade forearms. RS dropkicks him. RS superplexes him. RS gutbusters him. Marina Shafir trips RS then Mox ddt's RS for 2. Kyle O'Reilly gets in Shafir's face then Wheeler Yuta hits Kyle from behind. Pac pump kicks RS outside. Mox curbstomps RS for 2.

Mox hits mounted forearms. Mox armbars him and RS ropebreaks. Pac sets up a table outside. Mox and RS fight on the apron near the table. Garcia gets on the apron and RS throws him through the table. Mox sends RS into the post. RS half-nelson slams Mox on the steps. Mox is outside and is counted out after someone grabs his leg from under the ring.

Thoughts: It was going okay but then we had a ton of shenanigans which brought it down some, so it's hard to give this a great rating.

Wheeler Yuta opens up the ring skirt and is shocked with a taser. Darby Allin then appears from under the ring. Darby points the taser at Mox and Mox backs up. 

Overall thoughts: It was a decent show. The Blood and Guts advantage matches gave some reasoning for the matches to happen and helped this out. We didn't have too much random stuff here. The starpower could have been a little better but at least Mox was here. I liked the show overall and would give it a 6 out of 10.
