We are in Greenville, SC. Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

Cody Rhodes comes out to talk. Cody says Drew introduced a weapon into their match at SNME. Cody says Drew didn't hesitate to pull the trigger. He says he's the strongest but also the most self-sabotaging wrestler in the history of wrestling. Cody says he's moving on from Drew and says Drew is in the rear view mirror. Cody says he wants to watch the show with the fans and see who is next in line for the title.

Aleister Black comes out with Zelina Vega He says he's ready for something new after lighting Damian Priest on fire. Drew says he has a chip on his shoulder the size of the WWE Title. Vega says it's too bad Cody's nightmare begins now. Vega slaps Cody.

Nick Aldis comes out. He says tensions are running high and people can't keep their hands to themselves. He says if Black is looking for a fight, he can fight Cody tonight.

We see various wrestlers arrive. Ilja Dragunov runs into Tama Tonga and they stare down.

Ilja Dragunov comes out for his match. He asks who will step up. Tomasso Ciampa comes out with DIY. He says he came out last week and Ilja denied him then called him a jack@ss. Ciampa says he's a 2x NXT champ and a 2x tag champ. He says nobody calls him a jack@ss. He says now he is surrounded by jack@sses and says the title is his. 

Ilja says Ciampa is right and the crowd chants, "jack@ss". Ilja says he accepts the challenge...from Johnny Gargano.

WWE United States Title - Ilja Dragunov (c) vs Johnny Gargano

This is an open challenge. Ciampa distracts Drag and JG hits Drag from behind. Drag's head is banged off the buckles. Drag germans him. Drag hits elbows to the head. Drag flips him on a suplex.

We go to PiP break and return. They trade shots. Drag enzugiri's him. Drag jumping face kicks him. Drag tiger feint lariats him. Drag facekicks him. Drag knee drops him off the buckles. JG hits a hard superkick to the back of the head and poisonrana's him for 2. 

Drag hits hard overhead chops. He then picks him up and headbutts him. Drag hits a top rope senton for 2. Drag jumping stomps him then slams him down. Candice LaRae pulls Drag down on a tiger feint. JG tope tornado ddt's Drag on the floor. JG slingshot ddt's Drag for 2. 

Drag 2nd rope deadlift superplexes him. Drag then hits an h-bomb and wins.

Thoughts: It was the usual hard hitting Dragunov match with both guys taking some hard shots. I can't say I loved it that much though but they did give JG enough offense to make it seem like he had a shot.

Sami Zayn talks to Nick Aldis in the back. He says it's a number's game with The MFT's. He says he wants to be out there with Rey Fenix tonight. Aldis says he's not cleared. Aldis says he needs to focus on getting healthy. He says he's not asking. Sami says he won't stand by for much longer.

R-Truth comes in wearing Cena gear. He asks if the tumbler is how they pick Cena's last opponent. Truth says he wants in. He says he came here to put his balls in his hand and gives Nick tumbler balls. Aldis says he's in. Truth then makes a pin and takes the tumbler balls.

We see clips of Jade Cargill beating Tiffany Stratton at SNME.

DIY talk. Gargano says Ilja is a psycho. Fraxiom come in and make fun of DIY and bring up Ciampa being called a jack@ss.

Jade Cargill comes out. Jade says we saw what happened to Tiff and says that goes for every woman. She says, "I'm that b!tch" and leaves. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss come out and interact with Jade. Flair wants to go at it with Jade.

Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre talk. Michin and B-Fab interrupt them as Green talks about being the longest reigning Women's US champ. Mich says we all know how it will go tonight. Green says she will win tonight. Jade Cargill comes in and threatens her if she keeps talking. Jade then yells at Mich and B-Fab to move. Fab complains and Jade asks if she said anything. Jade says if she has a problem with it, step up and get stepped on next week in the ring.

Charlotte Flair vs Nia Jax

CF has some bright green colors on. CF side headlocks her and gets nowhere with a shoulderblock. Nia piefaces her. CF slaps her. CF hits mounted forearms. CF facekicks her then hurricanrana's her. CF running dropkicks her. 

CF's head is banged off the buckles. CF is upside down in the corner as she tries to go to the apron and is lariated. We go to break and return.  

CF hits forearms. CF facekicks her. CF top rope crossbodies her. CF hits chops and a high kick. CF clips her then forward cartwheel lariats her. CF hits a top rope moonsault for 2. CF walks into a sitout powerbomb for 2. 

Nia misses a banzai drop. Nia is stuck hanging from the ropes and CF slingshot knee drops her. CF tornado ddt's her for 2. Lash Legend comes out and beats up Alexa Bliss for some reason. She puts her in a sleeper and ragdolls her. Nia banzai drops CF and wins.

Thoughts: Lash beating up Bliss was beyond random and almost kind of funny. The girls didn't go too crazy here and it was a bit of a slower match. It was about average. CF may have had a wardrobe malfunction as they blacked out the screen for a second.

Nia and Lash hug after.

We get a video on John Cena's tournament. Nick Aldis draws the next 2 matchups. He says it's The Miz vs Jey Uso and LA Knight vs ?. Aldis says he will keep LA's opponent a surprise. 

Nia Jax and Lash Legend are interviewed. Nia mocks the interviewer. She says Flair and Bliss told her she needed to find a friend and she did. She says Lash is a formidable adversary and a bad@ss and that's why she chose her. Lash says she's the #1 boujee bully. She says she's everything she says she is. She says her and Nia are going straight to the top and tonight is just the beginning.

WWE Women's United States Title - Giulia (c) vs Chelsea Green

Green gives her AAA Mixed Title to Ethan Page, who is in the front row. Giulia has Kiana James with her and Green has Alba Fyre with her.

Green slaps her and is slapped back. G side headlock takeovers her and hits punches. G headbutts her then suplexes her. G pumping knees her for 2. G hair throws her. Green is tied up in the ropes and forearmed. Kiana forearms Green then Alba superkicks Kiana. G kicks Alba. Green then pins G with her feet on the ropes and wins.

Thoughts: WOW. This was a major upset. WWE's been liking the Green/Page duo and I have a feeling Green doing AAA shows is part of the reason she won. This signals to me a major loss of faith in Giulia. This was too short to be anything.

The MFT's are hyping up in the back. Solo says everyone did a good job last week but it wasn't good enough. He says Zayn is still walking around and The Wyatt's/Ilja have something that belongs to them. Solo says they will take it back. Solo says it's about the big man. He tells Talla Tonga to make a statement and show everyone not to disrespect his family again.

The Wyatt Sicks then show up behind them after they leave. Rowan says, "not here".

A doctor checks on Bliss in the back who is holding her neck. Flair says she's sorry it happened. Bliss puts ice on her neck. Asuka and Kairi Sane then appear as doctors. Asuka blue mists Flair and Bliss.

Rey Fenix vs Talla Tonga

The Motor City Machine Guns and Shinsuke Nakamura attack The MFT's as they come down. Rey topes Talla twice. His third attempt is caught. Rey is sent into the post and thrown in the ring hard.

Rey hits kicks on Talla. Rey hits leg kicks on Talla and chops him. Talla pop-up drops Rey. Talla facekicks Rey off the apron. Talla drops Rey throat first on the rail. We go to break and return. Rey hits shots on Talla. Rey springboards and runs right into Talla. Talla flips him with a lariat. Talla hits back elbows in the corner. Rey tiger feints into a spin kick then springboard spin kicks him. Talla blocks a sunset flip and nails him. 

Talla's throat is pulled over the top rope. Rey top rope crossbodies him for 2. Rey superkicks him. Talla powerbombs him off a blocked hurricanrana. Talla chokeslams him and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine. Rey flew around, Talla swatted him and down and was the big man here. There was nothing wrong with this.

Talla goes to attack him after. Sami Zayn comes out with a chair and the heels walk off. 

The Miz is interviewed in the back about his opponent next week, Jey Uso. He is asked about him attacking Carmelo Hayes. Miz says it was a reminder that everything he touches is important. He said he made Melo relevant. He says be fought Cena at Mania and says there shouldn't be a tournament for Cena as his final opponent is staring him in the face. He says everything Jey does is a highlight. He says highlights fade. Miz says the headlines will say he ended John Cena's career. 

Cody Rhodes vs Aleister Black

Cody side headlock takeovers him. AB does it back to him. They trade armdrags. AB knees him in the gut. Cody delay gordbusters him. Cody drops down and is put in an armbar. Cody springboards into AB's knee.

We go to PiP break and return. Cody powerslams him for 2. Cody rolls him up for 2. AB facekicks him for 2. AB hits shots in the corner. Cody running forearms him then goes up and over. Cody powerslams him. Cody hits a disaster kick for 2.

AB legsweeps him then PK's him for 2. Cody hits a cody cutter for 2. Cody hits punches. AB high kicks him. AB jumping knees him and germans him for 2. AB facekicks him and Cody facekicks back. They facekick each other at the same time and go down. Drew McIntyre then comes in and claymore kicks the ref, likely causing a no contest. He says the ref is against him and it's his fault.

Cody then hits shots on Drew. The heels double team Cody. Damian Priest comes out and is double teamed. DP lifting flatliners Drew and lariats AB over the top. Cody helps out DP. DP pounds on AB outside. Vega jumps on DP and is thrown over the rail. AB rakes DP's eye. Cody hits a cody cutter on Drew. 

Nick Aldis comes out. He says he has had it with Drew. He says Drew is suspended. Drew and Aldis argue.

Thoughts: I figured we weren't getting a clean finish here and we didn't. I'm not sure what will happen with Drew being suspended unless he is injured. The match was alright and Cody matched up a bit better with Black than others have.

Overall thoughts: We had 5 matches here. Nothing was too great and I'd say either the main or Fenix/Talla was the best match here. We got some happenings with Lash Legend joining Nia and Chelsea Green shockingly winning the Women's US Title. The show was fine but nothing I would really recommend. I still feel like Smackdown needs some big changes and some new names. I'd give this a low 6 out of 10.
