AEW Collision 11/1/2025 Fright Night Collision

The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada) vs Max Caster and Anthony Bowens

KT and Bowens go at it. KT wristlocks him. AB snapmares him. They trade chops. KT flying lariats him. KT eye rakes him. AB wraparound ddt's him. KT hits shots on Max's gut. KT nearly lariats Okada when Max moves then KT is sent into him. KT is then lariated into him outside. Max plancha's both opponents outside and argues with AB about it. Max then runs away from AB. 

Max and AB take stereo ddt's on the floor. KT and Okada then stare down. Okada slams Max then top rope elbow drops him. Okada pulls Max away from KT's corner charge then he neckbreakers him over the knee. AB dropkicks KT into Okada.

AB superkicks Okada. AB neckbreakers KT over the knee. Okada flapjacks AB. We go to PiP break and return. AB hits forearms on Okada. Max top rope crossbodies KT then lariats him. Max atomic drops KT into a russian legsweep. Max does an AA on KT for 2. KT stunners Max and AB running knees KT for 2.

AB half-straightjacket neckbreakers Okada. AB goes up top and is hit. KT forces Okada to do a tower of doom spot, powerbombing Okada. KT pulls Max out and sends him into the rails.  

 AB hits forearms on Okada. Okada misses a dropkick on AB. AB does his spinning torture rack drop on Okada's face for 2. KT blue thunders AB. Okada nearly lariats KT. KT shoves him then takes an over the back fameasser. Okada dropkicks AB. 

Okada takes the arrival from AB. Max tags himself in and AB doesn't know. AB and Max shove each other then punch each other. AB spinning forearms Max and superkicks Okada. Okada rainmakers AB. Okada tries to rainmaker Max but KT pushes Okada. KT spinning falcon arrows Max and pins him.

Thoughts: It was interesting with both teams fighting amongst themselves. They did a good push in pushing those stories but naturally, that did bring down some of the match quality some.

KT and Okada stare down. KT wants Okada to raise his hand after but he won't. Don Callis then raises their hands after.

Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron do a promo. Willow says they have the ability to keep on smiling. Willow says they know who they are up against in Mone and Athena on Wednesday. She asks if Mone can live with them beating her. Harley says you can take the babe's out of the wrath but you can't take the wrath out of the babe's.

We get a video on Mina Shirakawa's and Toni Storm's history. Toni says not to fear the woman in front of you but the one beside her.

CMLL Women's Title - Mercedes Mone (c) vs Olympia

Kris Statlander is on commentary. They pose at each other to start. Mone slaps her. Olym blocks a flying headscissors and they trade pin attempts. Olym jack knifes Mone.  Olym shoulders her over. Olym does a handstand pendulum la silla in the corner. Olym then does Mone's dance. 

Olym squats Mone. Mone boots her out of the corner. Olym one arm gorilla press drops Mone. Mone knees her in the face and knocks her off the apron. Mone meteora's her off the apron. Mone goes up to Kris Statlander on commentary. We go to PiP break, full break and return.

Olym swinging back rack drops her for 2. Olym dropkicks her. Olym goes for a suplex but Mone rolls her into a pin attempt. Mone back elbows her. Olym armdrags her out of the gori special. Olym one-arm lifts her then sitout powerbombs her for 2.

Mone lays back on the top rope and turns it into a tornado ddt. Mone codebreakers Olym's arm then does a crossface on her. Olym squats her again then hits doi fives on her for 2. Mone throws Olym into Kris on commentary. Kris and Mone argue. Olym throws Mone in. Mone la mistica's her into a crossface and Olym taps out.

Thoughts: It was kind of an audition for Olym here as she got to show off her full moveset. Mone didn't get a ton in but won as expected. The match was average. I guess Olym looked alright but what you saw here is really all she has. She can do her moves clean but there's not a lot of logic to them and I wouldn't call her a great wrestler. She does have a good look though.

The Young Bucks are interviewed and are asked what it will take to get them back on track. They don't know what to say. Don Callis comes in and says he knows what to say. He said he negotiated for a million dollar tag match at Full Gear. He asks them to team with Josh Alexander to face Omega and Jungle Express.

Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize vs Marina Shafir & Megan Bayne

Jon Moxley is on commentary. 

Alize and NN attack the heels from behind. They double team Meg. Meg misses a corner splash on NN. Meg takes running corner euros. Alize corner facekicks Meg and NN corner sentons Meg. MS comes in and hits some shots. Alize assisted headscissors her. NN jumps off her partner's back into a double stomp on MS.

Meg takes a double superkick. Meg double germans her opponents together. MS chest kicks NN down and slams her. Meg running sitout powerbombs NN and pins her. MS does the reverse choke on Alize.

Thoughts: I didn't like this. Alize and Nixon are debuting here and got beaten for no real reason. This was a lose-lose situation though as Meg and Shafir shouldn't have lost either.

Renee talks about the women's Blood and Guts match. She says it'll be a 6v6 match now with Thekla/Skye/Hart/Bayne/Shafir/Mone vs Hayter/Queen/Willow/Harley/Toni/Kris. 

Thoughts: The teams were put together in a loose manner to begin with and this is even worse. I'm concerned about how many girls end up getting injured in that match.

Komander, Mark Briscoe & Roderick Strong vs. La Faccion Ingobernable (Dralistico, Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos)

RS and SG go at it. RS wristlocks him. SG backflips out of it and armdrags him. RS chops him. Kom slaps SG. SG flips over Kom and corkscrew dropkicks him. SG suplexes Kom. Kom runs up the ropes then does a cartwheel and flip to avoid Dral. Dral flying headscissors him. They armdrag and legsweep each other then headflip up and stand off.

Mark and Mort go at it. Mort shoulders him over. Mark hits forearms. SG screws around on commentary mid-match. Mark flying forearms Mort. Mort slingblade bulldogs Mark. Mort back body drops him.

Mark flips out of a back body drop. Mark hits chops on Mort and uppercuts him. Kom spinning headscissors Mort. SG is back body dropped over the top. The heels are sent out and are hit with dropkicks through the ropes. Kom springboards and runs into SG's jumping knee. Mark and RS are sent into the rails.

We go to PiP break and return. Dral chops Kom then 2nd rope twisting canadian destroyers him for 2. Kom facebusters Dral. RS back body drops and jumping knees SG. He backbreakers him and olympic slams him for 2.

Mort headbutts RS over. RS takes a backcracker and is held for a top rope double stomp for 2. Mark gets in and fights off a double team. Mark back enzugiri's Mort and uranage's Dral. Mark top rope corkscrew moonsaults the heels outside. Holo springboard poisonrana's Mort. We get a bunch of fast paced action. Mark ducks a corkscrew kick and jay drillers Dral to win.

Thoughts: We've seen variations of this a million times and you know what the deal is - fast paced action, people coming in and out and various dives. It was entertaining but was pretty similar to other trios matches we've seen lately.

Eddie Kingston and Hook talk in the back after Dynamite. Hook is asked what happened. hook says if you are caught you are caught and we live to fight another day. Eddie then shoo's the camera man away.

MXM TV come out. Mdden is dressed up like a woman here and eventually, it is revealed that MXM are dressed up like Johnny and Taya. Mansoor does a casting call/open challenge and asks who they will face tonight.

Bang Bang Gang (Ace Austin, Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson) vs. MxM TV (Johnny TV, Mansoor & Mason Madden)

Everyone fights to start. Juice is sent into the rails. Gunn goes up and over Mansoor and trips him. Gunn hits punches on Mansoor. Gunn back body drops Ace onto the heels outside. 

Ace trips and kicks Johnny and rolls him up for 2. Ace dropkicks him. Ace suplexes Johnny. Juice comes in and knocks over the heels. Juice leg lariats Johnny then Johnny takes a wild head bump off a ddt. Mansoor hits mounted corner punches on Juice and poses. Juice powerbombs him.

Madden leg lariats Ace. Madden is double suplexed and loses his wig. Gunn fameassers Johnny and Ace hits the fold on Johnny. Juice pins Johnny.

Thoughts: It a was a shorter one. MXM TV did their usual half-serious shtick here and were kind of beaten like jobbers. I gotta give Tony credit for making The Gang a 5-man unit. These guys are never healthy and hopefully having 5 people around can keep them active. 

ROH World Title Match - Bandido (c) vs. Mascara Dorada

Band has some body paint on which he usually doesn't wear. Band wristlocks him and MD headflips out and reverses it. Bad headflips out. MD does an abdominal stretch variation on him. 

MD trips Band into a surfboard. Band gets out quick then surfboards MD. MD then backrolls and Band get it back on him. MD armdrags him and Band headflips out of the 2nd one. They handspring and back flip at the same time. 

MD goes out, Band goes for a tope and MD kind of side steps and throws him down. We go to PiP break and return. MD boots Band in the corner then flying back elbows him. MD allows Band to get up on his own. They trade chops. 

Band boots MD out of the corner then top rope tornillos him. Band one arm gorilla press slams him. Band pump kicks him out. MD is alley oop'd into the apron outside. Band topes him outside and ends up landing on MD's shoulder, sending him into the commentary table. Back in and MD is monkey flipped into the buckles. Band hits a top rope splash for 2. MD flips him with a 2nd rope razor's edge.

MD then spinning ddt's him for 2. Band pump kicks MD on the apron. MD superkicks him. Band pop up cutters him from the apron to the floor. We go to PiP break and return. Band misses a flying dropkick. MD springboard crossbodies him. MD flips off of Band's shoulders then corkscrew headscissors him. MD tornillos him outside. MD 2nd rope ssp's him outside. MD top rope diving crucifix bombs him for 2. Band pop-up knees him then low flying knees him for 2. MD blocks Band's reverse GTS variation. MD step up knees him on the ropes.

MD suplexes Band. Band flips him in mid-air into a sitout powerbomb. They flying kick each other at the same time. MD top rope tornillo armdrags him. MD trips him then la magistral's him for 2. MD does a top rope ssp but Band gets his knees up. MD's head is banged off the buckles. 

Band sits up top. MD gets on his shoulders. Band initially blocks the hurricanrana but MD hits it and Band rolls through into a pin attempt. Band does a reverse GTS on MD then hits a 21plex for the win.

Thoughts: They went all out and did way too much here as expected. There wasn't that much selling and it was just people doing cool flippy moves. The more it went on, the less I liked it.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual Collision where the top stars weren't around and we had a somewhat random but workrate focused card. It was fine but not a ton happened here that will really affect things going forward. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 total.
