AEW Full Gear 2025 11/22/2025

CMLL World Trios Titles - El Sky Team (Místico, Máscara Dorada, and Neón) (c) vs. The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero)

This started during the pre-show. We missed some action between the end of the pre-show and this. Mistico has been taken out and has gone to the back. KT, and MD fight in the ring and Neon/Hech fight outside. KT beats up MD in the corner. Okada finally makes his entrance with the match having long started a while ago.

MD rolls up KT for 2. KT and Okada stare down. Hech tries to play peacemaker. Hech is double dropkicked by the faces. Neon and MD get crotched up top. Mistico comes back out with his arm taped out. Mist hits a springboard diving hurricanrana and a springboard double back elbow on Okada and KT. Mist 619's KT. Mist springboard double crossbodies the Japanese. Mist flying headscissors KT. Mist walks up the buckles and corkscrew diving armdrags Okada.

Mist spinning headscissors Hech from his shoulders. Mist topes Hech. Mist la mistica's KT. Okada then pounds on KT and throws him out. Neon hits leg kicks on Okada. Okada dropkicks Neon. Neon double springboard corkscrew diving armdrags Okada. KT package tombstones Neon then wheelbarrow germans him. 

Okada blocks KT's move then Kt does it to him. They bump chests. Okada rainmakers KT when MD moves. MD corkscrew headscissors Okada out. Neon top rope diving headscissors Hech. MD is flipped in mid-air and hurricanrana's Hech. MD and Neon hit stereo moonsaults outside.

Mist tilt-a-whirl armdrags Hech. Mist hurricanrana's him for 2. Mist 619's Hech then la magistral's him for 2. Hech step up knees Mist in the corner. Mist poisonrana's Hech then la mistica's him and submits him.

Thoughts: This was a mess with Mist getting sent out then returning, Okada arriving mid-match and the match starting on the pre-show and ending on the PPV. Neon almost got killed on a package tombstone here. They furthered the issues between Okada and Takeshita. It was a little rushed but the action was good. I didn't like this overall though due to all the shenanigans.

Darby Allin vs. Pac

DA has a pre-match vid with his face wrapped up and him in a hospital bed watching clips of his feud with Pac. He smashes the TV with a baseball bat. DA's ribs and right arm are bandaged up.

They lock up and DA armdrags him. DA armlocks him and wristlocks him. Pac headflips out and DA la magistral's him. DA armdrags him into an armlock. Pac goes up and over and is shotgun dropkicked into the buckles. DA side headlocks him then springboards off the top into an armdrag. Pac headflips out. DA springboard twisting splashes him. DA side headlock takeovers him.

Pac headscissors him. DA headstands out, goes for a sharpshooter and Pac ropebreaks. Pac gorilla press slams him off the apron onto the floor. Pac rips DA's tape off. Pac then rubs DA's burns. Pac rakes the back. DA is pulled hard throat first into the middle rope.

DA is thrown hard into the corner and ends up going outside. Pac top rope dropkicks DA. DA slaps Pac as the crowd chants, "you can't kill him". DA is thrown out. He wraps Pac up in the ring skirt and pounds him. DA then low topes him into the rails. Pac is sat in a chair and DA top rope dropkicks him on the floor. 

DA grounded guillotine chokes him. Pac pump kicks him then rebound germans him. DA takes an overhead belly to belly into the buckles but no sells it and lariats Pac. Pac counters a coffin drop with a german. Pac runs the ropes and running lariats him for 2. Pac puts him in the brutalizer and DA ropebreaks.

Pac hits forearms on DA then pump kicks him. Pac misses a corkscrew ssp. DA sharpshooters him. Pac calls for help. Wheeler Yuta gets in the ring. Pac is given a bat and hits DA with it to win.

Thoughts: There were a lot of things I didn't like about this. They did technical wrestling to start when Darby had a grudge with Pac. Darby took a gorilla press off the apron to the floor that meant nothing. Darby also did a really stupid spot where he slammed himself on the floor to dropkick Pac from the top rope. We also got a lame dirty finish to end things. There were too many issues with this for me to give it a good rating.

Winning team chooses the stipulation for the AEW Women's Tag Title Semifinal - Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) vs. Timeless Love Bombs ("Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) vs. Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir

The stipulation for this is so stupid.

Willow is suplexed on the floor early by Meg. Shafir hits corner forearms on Toni. Toni takes clubs and chest kicks from Meg and Shafir. Meg overhead belly to belly suplexes Toni. Toni tornado ddt's Meg. Toni corkscrew drops Mina onto Meg. 

Mina spinning forearms Meg. Mina kicks Meg off the ropes. Meg samoan drops her for 2. Marina 619 headscissor takeoers Mina on the apron. Skye does a shake, rattle and roll to Mina. Mina and Skye trade chest forearms. Mina slingblades her. Willow hits a corner lariat flurry on Skye. Willow spinning slams her then drops Harley onto her for 2.

Harley and Skye trade forearms. Harley hits soul foot and backcrackers her. Skye throws Harley down backwards then cartwheels into a forearm on her. Hart ddt's Harley. Hart walks the top rope and clubs Harley.

Skye running boots Harley. Meg and Skye pieface each other. Meg fallway slams Harley then hits corner spears. Harley takes corner attacks and kicks from Shafir. Shafir hits Harley in the gut. Harley knees Meg in the chest then spinning ddt's her.

Willow tags in and hits lariats on Marina. Marina's head is banged off the mat and Willow backsplashes her. Willow alabama slams her for 2. Willow takes a double gordbuster and a double superkick. Mina ddt's Hart while doing a figure four on Skye. Meg drops Mina into Shafir's mother's milk submission. Toni comes in and hits dropkicks on Shafir. She ddt's her. Toni hits mounted shots on Shafir. Harley top rope crossbodies Toni for 2. Toni sky high's Harley.

Toni is hit with a double superkick then Meg does a double german. Willow pounces Meg. Willow cannonballs Meg and Shafir off the apron. Mina gets help going up top and dives outside onto opponents. Harley and Toni try pin attempts. Harley knees her in the chest then Toni cradles her for the win.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. There were no big botches or anything here. The format of these matches is always messy and they tried their best. Toni and Mina won here but this was basically filler and the result did nothing for anyone.

AEW Tag Titles - Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) 

Cash and Band go at it. Cash waistlock takedowns him then Band reverses it. Band points at him and they stand off. Band armdrags Cash 3 times then armdrags and chops Dax. Band then does karate poses. BK and Dax trade forearms. BK sends Dax outside and chops him. BK sentons Dax for 2. Band slams BK onto Dax. Band then tries to dance but BK won't.

Stokeley distracts Band on the apron. Band tope con hilos over him but is caught and banged into the commentary table. Dax legdrops Band. Band's face is banged off of Cash's knees. Cash hits punches on Band. Dax euros Band down then does a gori special on him. 

Band evades FTR and he double spinebusters them. Band is double pounded on in the corner while the ref is distracted. Band upkicks Cash and tags out. BK comes in and lariats FTR. BK black hole slams Cash then drops Dax onto him. BK sentons both. BK hits corner lariats on FTR.

BK death valley drivers Cash into Dax in the corner. BK cannonballs both in the corner for 2. Dax pulls Band over the top. Cash dropkicks BK. BK is sat on the top rope and he is chopped. BK blocks the powerplex by catching Cash's splash. He then sitout chokeslams Cash. Dax takes kicks and chops then BK sliding lariats Dax.

BK goes to tope Dax, Stoke pushes Dax out of the way and BK mostly hits the floor while hitting Stoke some. Cash tornado ddt's BK on the floor. Band springboard headscissors Dax then toyota rolls him for 2. Band is popped up and caught with a slingshot powerbomb and a top rope splash for 2. Band one arm gorilla presses Cash and throws him out onto Dax. He top rope plancha's FTR outside. 

FTR go for a shatter machine but Band ddt's Cash off of it. FTR block the 21plex. Band then does a 21plex to Cash. Band is then hit with a shatter machine for 2. BK misses a crossbody against the rails and goes into them. Cash and BK tug of war over a title. Cash ends up nailing Band with the title for a close 2 count. BK crossbodies Cash against the rails.

Dax is hit with a shatter machine for 2. Dax trips Band and pulls him crotch first into the post. Cash topes BK into the rail. FTR go for a doomsday device crossbody but Band flips Cash and gets a 2 count. BK sleepers Dax on the apron. Cash then puts BK in a sleeper on the apron. BK is spike piledrivered on the apron.

Band's handspring is caught and he takes a double reverse torture rack drop for 2. Band is hit with a spike piledriver for 2. Band is then hit with a shatter machine and Dax pins Band.

Thoughts: It was a long one and went longer than it needed to. There were tons of unnecessary kickouts and moves here. I thought it was just okay as they really overdid it here and there was so much that could have been sold better. King did a pretty nasty dive into the floor during this one and Dax took a weird looking fall on his elbow during a double spinebuster spot. I was not shocked to see FTR win as Brodido was a makeshift team and either FTR or The Bucks have to be featured at all times.

Bryan Danielson comes in to do commentary, taking Nigel's spot. 

AEW National Title - Casino Gauntlet Match

This is to crown the first AEW National champ. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are the first two in. Bob blocks SB's takedown. SB backs him up in the corner. Ricochet is next in. He grabs a mic and says people want to see SB and Bob fight 1v1. The Gates of Agony then attack SB and Bob from behind. Ricochet then nails MVP with the mic. Kaun sends SB into a chair between the buckles. SB is sent into the rails. Bob is sent into the steps.

SB takes a big ending on a chair. Toa hip attacks Bob against the steps. Refs walk MVP to the back and send The Gates of Agony to the back. Claudio Castagnoli is next in. Ric goes to tope CC but CC euros him. CC gorilla press throws Ric into the ring from the outside. CC giant swings Ric. CC running euros Ric in the corner for 2.

Ric satellite headscissors CC. Daniel Garcia is next in. DG throws a drink in Ric's face and chokes him against the ropes. DG throws his jacket on Ric and hits mounted punches in the corner. Ric takes a 2v1. CC spears the post when Ric moves. Ric is crotched up top.  

Orange Cassidy is next in. He slpas Ric on the head and it causes him to take a top rope german from DG. OC back body drops DG out. CC holds OC in the air by his pants and drops him down. OC headscissors CC off a pop-up. OC topes DG outside. OC stunners CC. OC spinning ddt's Ric.

Wheeler Yuta is next in. OC stares him down then is hit by CC and DG. OC is triple teamed. OC takes corner attacks by The Death Riders. Ric joins in then is euro'd down by CC. Ric is double teamed. Kevin Knight is next in. 

Kevin flying lariats Yuta down the ramp. Kevin step up lariats DG off the apron outside. Kevin hurricanrana's CC over the top. Ric flying pumping knees Kevin and Kevin dropkicks him for 2. Roderick Strong is next in. He uranage's DG on the apron edge. RS hits chops and forearms on CC. Kevin's springboard is caught with an RS uranage backbreaker. RS olympic slams CC. RS backbreakers Ric then torture rack backbreakers him. RS sick kicks him for 2.

Mark Davis is next in. RS hits shots on Davis. Davis enzugiri's him. Davis is hit with a double boot. Davis double lariats DG and Yuta then he lariats RS. Davis short piledrivers Kevin. Davis over the shoulder sitout piledrivers Ric. Davis piledrivers OC. 

Mike Bailey is next in. Mike pump kicks Davis. Kevin jumping ddt's Davis. Kevin and Mike go for a pin at the same time and stare down. Mike top rope moonsaults outside. Kevin top rope springboard lariats Davis. Kevin shakes hands with Mike and rolls him up for 2. Kevin ducks a superkick and they stand off. DG pushes Mike into Kevin.

Dg kicks Mike low and shaprshooters him. Matt Menard is next in. Matt yells at DG and they hockey fight. Matt back elbows him. Matt beats him up against the rails outside. DG goes into the crowd and they fight to the back.

Davis and CC end up alone in the ring. Bob and SB then get in. The four fight. SB germans Davis. Bob flatliners CC. Kevin is pop-up dropped. Bob rolling spears RS. SB germans Yuta. OC is caught off the top by Bob and takes a powerslam. Ric ends up against Bob and SB. Bob throws Ric then SB throws Ric. SB step up knees Ric then Bob spinebusters Ric.

CC lariats Bob over the top. OC hits an orange punch on CC. SB lariats Davis over the top and goes with him. Bob spears the rail when CC moves outside. OC takes a flying knee from Yuta. Yuta gets a 2 count on OC. Kevin top rope 180 frogsplashes Yuta. Ric then hits a spirit gun on Kevin and wins.

Thoughts: Lashley was my favorite to win here but Ric also was someone I thought had a chance. It works for what he's doing but this guy left WWE to basically be put in the same spot in AEW. The match was fine. It had a lot of people coming in and out and people just totally disappearing for long periods of time for no reason. I'm not sure why The Gates of Agony went to the back during this when there was no rules. It went a little longer than it needed to. This title is unnecessary and will likely just mostly end up as a Collision title. The new title looks exactly like the NWA National Title did at one point.

No Holds Barred Match - Jon Moxley vs Kyle O'Reilly

Kyle takes him down and pounds on him. They trade forearms and waistlocks. Kyle hits a bunch of shots in the corner. Mox allows Kyle to hit him. Kyle slaps and headbutts him. Mox eye rakes him. Mox hits chops in the corner. Kyle hits kicks in the corner. Kyle grabs Mox by the finger and Mox fish hooks him. Kyle adombinalt stretches him and Mox hiptosses him into an armbar. 

Mox grabs a fork and stabs Kyle with it. Mox rakes Kyle's back with it. Kyle is busted open big time. Mox facekicks him and crossfaces him on the ropes. Mox pulls on Kyle's mouth. Mox armlocks him then bites Kyle's fingers. Mox kicks him in the back. 

Kyle ankle locks Mox then side headlocks him. Mox backdrops Kyle. Mox sticks a fork in Kyle's nipple. Mox chinlocks Kyle around the top rope. Kyle then head and arm chokes Mox around the top rope. Kyle knees Mox in the head then dragon screws him around the middle rope. Kyle armbars Mox.  

They go out. Kyle takes him down on the floor then catapults him into the bottom rope connector. Kyle chest kicks Mox then bangs his head off the steps. Kyle runs the apron and dropkicks Mox while he's in a chair. Mox is now busted open. Kyle blocks Mox's cutter in the ring and ankle locks him. Mox triangle chokes Kyle.

Kyle grabs Mox's fork and forks him in the head while keeping the hold on. Kyle then lets go of it. Kyle grabs a chain. Kyle guillotine chokes Mox with the chain. Mox then does it to him. Kyle suplexes Mox. They trade forearms. Kyle spinning forearms him. Mox throws Kyle over the back and bulldog chokes him with the chain. Kyle escapes and hits mounted shots. 

Kyle armbars Mox and Mox ankle locks him. Mox then turns it into an STF. Kyle forks Mox's hand to break it up. Mox curb stomps Kyle on the chain. Mox pillmanizes Kyle's arm in a chair. Mox hits a high angle death rider ddt. Mox kimura's Kyle but Kyle grabs his tights to block it. Kyle ankle locks Mox. Mox then taps out.

Thoughts: For unknown reasons, Kyle O'Reilly is the current AEW flavor of the month. We've see it before with Hologram, Takeshita, John Silver, Action Andretti and others. They get pushed for a while then the big push just stops. I really don't get why they had him beat Mox here and I hope all of these losses are leading to Mox getting kicked out of The Death Riders, as it's the only thing that makes sense. They really risk killing off Mox's star status too with all of these losses and it's not something I would be doing. I thought it was a good match. Both got bloody, they used weapons well and had a good match without doing too much super dangerous stuff.

Kyle is checked on after and Mox beats up Kyle. Rod Strong and OC come out to help Kyle. The Death Riders then come out. 

AEW TNT Title - No DQ Match - Kyle Fletcher (c) vs Mark Briscoe

Mark Briscoe has to join The Don Callis Family is he loses.

They slap each other then forearm each other. Mark chops and forearms KF. KF facekicks him. KF facekicks Mark off the apron. KF is swept on the apron then booted in the face. Mark throws a chair at KF's face. Mark sends KF into the steps and chairs him. 

Mark chops him against the apron. KF is put in a chair. Mark jumps at him from the apron and is brainbustered on a chair. KG guillotines Mark on the steps. Mark sweeps KF on the steps and chops him. KF is put on a ladder. Mark tries to tope con hilo him through the ropes but just ends up going through the ladder when KF moves. KF then throws a ladder at Mark's face with the top of it going into him. 

Mark's head is busted open and he's slammed on a ladder. KF slams a ladder on him. Mark is thrown into a ladder in the corner.  A ladder is put on the 2nd rope. They fight on the 2nd rope and KF is knocked down. Mark top rope dropkicks the ladder in KF's face. KF is busted open. Mark hits KF in the head with a ladder. Mark sets up a table outside. Mark hits KF in the gut with a chair.

KF half and half suplexes Mark on the floor. Mark throws a chair in KF's face. He then chairs KF. Mark is pushed off the top and goes through a table. KF corner facekicks Mark. Mark back enzugiri's KF. KF rams Mark through a table in the corner. KF sitout last ride's Mark for 2.

KF pours tacks on the mat. KF puts tacks in Mark's mouth and superkicks him. Mark fisherman busters KF on the tacks. Mark pulls out a barbed wire table. KF superkicks him on the apron. Mark then blockbusters him off the apron through chairs. They set up a ladder and table in the ring. Both are on the ladder and Mark elbow drops him off of it through the table. 

KF stabs him with a screw driver and drives it into his head. He then licks it. Mark brainbusters KF for 2. KF stabs Mark in the head with the screwdriver twice. KF brainbusters Mark on tacks for 2.

They get on the 2nd rope. Mark hits a razor's edge on him off the 2nd rope through a table. Mark jay drillers KF and wins.

Thoughts: It was a brainless match with them doing way too much and selling little of it. This match had like 4 table bumps alone. I don't love Kyle losing here with the way they have been pushing him and thought Mark having to join Callis would have made for some good stories.

$1,000,000 Trios Match - Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and Josh Alexander

Jack wristlocks Nick. Jack uses the ropes to get out of an armlock. Nick springboard armdrags Jack then Jack armdrags him using the buckles. They try to dropkick each other at the same time then headflip up together. Lucha and Matt get in. 

Matt is thrown down. Lucha lariats down the heels. A Buck is hiptossed into a basement dropkick from Jack. Kenny 2nd rope double axe handles a Buck's arm. Josh elbows Kenny in the side of the head from the apron. Kenny and Josh each hit shots in the corner. 

Kenny flying euros Josh in the corner then slingshot plancha's him outside. Josh stomps on Kenny's knee and lariats it. Kenny double dropkicks The Bucks in the legs then does a sloppy over the back double fameasser on them. Kenny hurricanrana's Josh. Kenny tope con hilos the heels. 

Jack rolls off the top and flips on a Buck. The Buck is then sent out onto the other Buck. Josh dropping slams Jack on the apron. A Buck dropkicks Lucha throws the ropes. The other Buck then misses a corkscrew dive and lands hard on the floor when Lucha doesn't catch him.

A Buck then top rope plancha's Kenny outside. The Bucks hit risky business on Jack for 2. Jack is lariated by a Buck for 2. Josh does a backdrop/olympic slam on Jack then he chinlocks him. Jack rebound lariats Josh.

Jack jumps at Josh and ddt's him. Lucha hits punches on The Bucks then throws both. Lucha double clotheslines them. Lucha headbutts Josh and chokeslams him. Lucha chokeslams a Buck onto Josh then flips a Buck onto a Buck. Lucha hits a standing moonsault for 2. Lucha is double swept. Lucha kips up and is double superkicked. We then get a triple lariat spot with Lucha and The Bucks.

Kenny and Josh get in. A Buck backs away from Josh's tag. Kenny hits shots on Josh. Kenny headbusters Josh. Kenny finlay rolls Josh and misses a 2nd rope moonsault. Kenny is rolled face first int othe mat. Jack is top rope double stomped and hits a hurricanrana off of it. We get some fast action and Lucha takes a canadian destroyer. Kenny then hits a pumping knee on a Buck.

Kenny and Josh trade shots. Kenny snap dragon suplexes him. Kenny then does it to The Bucks. Josh clips Kenny from behind then ankle locks him. Josh is busted open somehow. Kenny is then hit with a BTE trigger. Lucha is tornado ddt's onto the floor while josh ankle locks Kenny. 

Lucha sends a Buck and Josh over the top. Jack is popped up into a spike tombstone on a Buck. Lucha moonsaults off the apron to the outside. Josh lariats a buck on accident and is hit with a pumping knee. A buck is flipped by Lucha into a sitout powerbomb by Jack.

The Bucks are both in the doomsday device and they double flip out of it on the lariat. Jack asai moonsaults and is double superkicked. Lucha and Josh are double superkicked. Kenny hits an OWA on Josh on the floor.

Jack rolls up a Buck for 2. Jack is hit with a bte trigger and is pinned.

Thoughts: I assumed the faces would win here since the heels are having issues and since Kenny returned. It was the usual Bucks tag with them doing a million spots and none of them meaning that much. It was all action here.

The Don Callis Family comes in the ring after. Don says they part of The Family and says let's celebrate. The Bucks and Don walk up the ramp. The Family beats up on Kenny and work his legs. The Bucks discuss this with Don. The Bucks then throw down the money and help out Kenny with Jurassic Express. The Bucks shake hands with Jurassic Express.

Thoughts: We've seen this a million times from The Bucks. When they get stale, they turn face or heel and usually make friends with Kenny again. They got stale and have now turned face again. Their guaranteed feature spot never changes though and they never change their style. I have no idea why they were cool with beating up Kenny for 30 minutes but then had a problem when The Family beat up Kenny after. We also are going to have to have a major explanation as to why Kenny wants to be friends with them after they and Jack tried to take Kenny out of wrestling a year ago.

AEW Women's World Championship - Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Moné

This will be title #14 for Mone if she wins.

Mone's takedown is blocked and she is backdropped. Mone armdrags Kris and waistlocks her. Mone does crossface and Kris flipping sentons her. Kris standing moonsaults her for 2. Kris is thrown out and Mone baseball slides her. Mone tope crossbodies her but Kris catches her and walks her up the steps.

Kris superplexes her. Kris misses a top rope 450. Kris holds her arm outside and the ref checks on her. Mone diving meteora's her off the apron. Kris is sent into the steps. Mone diving meteora's her off the steps. Mone stomps Kris' arm into the floor.

Mone tornado ddt's her then armbars her. Kris is pulled face first into the buckles. Mone jumping knees her off the 2nd rope for 2. Mone armlocks Kris and sends her shoulder first into the buckles. Mone armbars her. 

Mone uses her feet on Kris' arm. Mone spinning ddt's her for 2. Mone suplexes her 14 times in a row. Mone comes off the top and runs into Kris' double boots. Kris back body drops her then euros her in the corner. Kris flying knees her in the corner. Kris hits ki krusher for 2. Mone yanks Kris' arm over the 2nd rope. Mone knee drops the arm. Mone is caught off the apron and takes a blue thunder on the floor. 

Mone codebreakers and backcrackers her. Mone sunset bombs her into the buckles. Mone jumps at her and is hit with a spinning lariat in the air for 2. Kris belly to belly suplexes her for 2. Kris crossfaces her. Mone reverses it. 

Mone sleepers Kris on the 2nd rope. Kris 2nd rope gutbusters her. Mone rolls Kris into a crucifix for 2. Kris then does a seatbelt pin on her for 2. Kris package piledrivers her for 2. Mone poisonrana's her the meteora's her on the bottom rope for 2. They reverse tombstone attempts. Kris hits her staturday night fever on Mone and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a long and slow bout and no doubt served as a bathroom break for most people. I didn't think it was that great. Kris worked an arm injury during it but Mone didn't focus on it as much as she should have. Mone losing while having 13 belts really buries her other belts and makes those belts look worthless. This isn't even her first loss with a lot of those titles either. And it's for Kris Statlander, who isn't exactly Toni Storm.

Don Callis and his family are interviewed. Don is happy about having an extra million dollars in the family. He says when Takeshita and Okada get on the same page, they will be the greatest team. Okada blames Takeshita for the loss and Takeshita says he didn't show up on time. Don says Okada will win the Continental Classic. Takeshita says he will also be in it. Don says it's a great as they have a better chance to win. Kyle Fletcher comes in and is mad. He asks where they were tonight. He says he lost his title and says it won't stay this way for long. He says he will also be in the Continental classic. Okada blames Takeshita.

AEW World Title - Steel Cage Match -  Adam Page (c) vs Samoa Joe

Page has new music and a new tron. This is starting at 12:04AM. Page's ribs and neck are taped up.

Joe knees him in the ribs many times. Joe chops him in the corner and throws him into the cage. Page hits punches on Joe and throws him into the cage. Joe is busted open. Page hits mounted corner punches. Page top rope moonsaults him for 2. 

Joe boots Page in the corner and facewashes him. Page hits Joe with a boot. Page chokes Joe around the 2nd rope. Joe hits chops and forearms. Page is sent into the cage. 

Joe elbows Page in the head multiple times. They trade forearms. Joe back elbows him. Page is busted open. Joe chops and punches Page against the cage. He enzugiri's him against the cage. 

Page's face is raked into the cage. Joe chops Page then powerslams him for 2. Joe hits punches and Page no sells them. Page punches back. Page spinning forearms him and sends him into the cage. Page backdrops him. Page rolls up Joe for 2 and does a grounded sleeper. Joe corner uranage's him.

Joe pulls a turnbuckle pad off. Joe hits forearms on Page. Page forearms back. Page bites Joe's head. They fight on the buckles. Joe's head is banged off the cage. Page sunset bombs him. Katsuyori Shibata comes down to the steps near the door. Shibata grabs the AEW Title and climbs the cage. Eddie Kingston comes down and pulls down Shibata. They fight outside. The ref gets hit and Page hits deadeye on Joe. The ref is down and can't count the pin.

Powerhouse Hobbs comes out and breaks the chain off the cage door. Hobbs enters the cage and is hit. Page kicks him in the crotch. Hobbs is sent into the cage. Joe sleepers Page from behind. Joe is rammed into the exposed buckle. Page buckshot lariats Joe but the ref is out. Hook comes out and tells the ref to wake up. Hook grabs the AEW Title and nails Page with it. Hook then reveals an Opps shirt underneath his jacket. Joe muscle busters Page and pins him to win.

Thoughts: There wasn't going to be a lot of big spots here. They beat each other up a bit, bled and then the shenanigans started here. Hook was aligned with The Opps but left on peaceful terms, but it turns out that they faked it all along, which is fine I guess. The match was about average. I don't have a problem with Joe being champ as he's a good promo guy and did fine with it last time. Hook being heel or face really doesn't matter as he's never going much further as a wrestler in this company but he'll also never be out of a job either. Joe's bloody face made for good visuals here.

A bunch of people in Opps Dojo shirts then come out and clap for Joe. The lights go out and turn back on. We see a video of a house on fire then see Prince Nana. Nana says, "We in the money, my friends". Swerve Strickland then comes out with a new theme song. Swerve walks up to the ring and Joe shows him Page, who is still out on the mat.  

Swerve punches one of the Opps Dojo lackey's and is held in the corner. Joe and Shibata leave and Swerve beats up the lackey's. Page stops a lackey from touching Swerve then he stands next to Swerve staring down The Opps. The show ends at 12:26AM, making it a 5 hour and 26 minute affair with the pre-show. 

Overall thoughts: It was your usual long AEW PPV that went 5 hours and 26 minutes if you count the pre-show. This was one of the bloodiest major wrestling shows ever. The opener was a mess and was continued from the pre-show. Pac and Darby had a bunch of issues in their match. The women's 4-way tag was acceptable. FTR won the tag titles again in a match that went longer than it needed to but was still okay. The gauntlet for the National Title was alright for what it was. I thought Moxley/Kyle was the match of the night with them having a bloody and brutal match with a lot of submissions. Fletcher/Briscoe was your usual brainless Fletcher match with 4 sets of table bumps. The trios match had The Bucks turn face yet again and was their usual match with endless cool spots and flips that meant nothing. Kris/Mone was long and slow and had no chance of following some of the other stuff on the card. Mone lost for some reason. The main was average and filled with shenanigans at the end. I thought it was an average show but would give it a 6 out of 10 just because of how much effort the wrestlers put in and because they did try to deliver something good, though this was just not for me.
