Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) & Tatsuya Matsumoto vs. House Of Torture (Chase Owens, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi)

The heels attack before the bell. Yujiro stomps and boots Goto. Goto shoulders him over. The faces make their come back. Tat slams Yujiro then Kanemaru takes the triple back clubs. Yujiro facekicks Tat. Yujiro stomps Tat and boots him out of the ring. Chase Owens slams Tat on the floor. 

Kanemaru back body drops Tat inside. Kanemaru suplexes Tat for 2. Kanemaru sends Tat into the buckles. Chase backbreakers Tat for 2. Chase is on the 2nd rope and Tat sweeps him down. Yoshi comes in and shoulders over Chase. He neckbreakers him. Yujiro takes a headhunter + russian legsweep combo. Yoshi superkicks Chase then Chase lariats him.

Tat hits forearms on Kanemaru then dropkicks him. Tat running back elbows Kanemaru. Kanemaru slams him then stomps on him. Tat rolling leglocks Kanemaru and Kanemaru rope breaks. Tat stomps on Kanemaru. Kanemaru dropkicks him in the knee. Kanemaru single leg crabs Tat. Tat ropebreaks.

Kanemaru knee breakers Tat then figure fours him. Tat then submits.

Thoughts: It was short and not too much of note. Tat got pinned as expected. The heels didn't cheat that match surprisingly.

Goto and Yoshi have words for Yujiro and Chase after. 

Katsuya Murashima, Oleg Boltin & Toru Yano vs. Masatora Yasuda, Satoshi Kojima & Taichi

KM hits forearms on Tai. Tai facekicks him. KM flying forearms him. Tai slams KM. Tai backhands him then kicks him in the back. Yano kicks Tai from the apron and pulls his throat down over the top. Yano then kicks the rail into Tai's knee.

Oleg comes in and forearms Tai. He stomps his knee in the corner then twists his ankle. Yano stomps Tai's knee and takes a turnbuckle pad off. Tai is sent into the exposed buckle. Yano misses a charge and goes into it then is enzugiri'd for it. 

Koji comes in. He hits machine gun chops on Yano. He corner forearms him then 2nd rope elbow drops him for 2. Koji hits forearms on Yano. Yano pulls him down by the hair. Oleg comes in and running shoulders Koji. Oleg karelin's lifts him. Koji boots him then hits a koji cutter.

Masa comes in and shotgun dropkicks Oleg. Masa is sent into the exposed buckle then Oleg goes into it. Oleg hiptosses Masa. Oleg then splashes him for 2. Tai facekicks Oleg over then flips Masa onto him for 2. Masa crabs Oleg and Oleg ropebreaks.

Masa sunset flips him for 1 then dropkicks him. Masa goes for a flying headscissors but Oleg blocks it and powerbombs him for the win.

Thoughts: The early part of this revolved around people going into the exposed buckler. It was a shorter match with Tai getting his knee worked on. Masa got to do a lot here for a change and looked fine doing it. I guess it was okay.

Tai/Koji stare down with Yano/Oleg after. 

El Desperado, Shoma Kato & Shuji Ishikawa vs. Daiki Nagai, Drilla Moloney & Shingo Takagi

DM and Despy go at it. DM backs him up on the ropes. Despy is shouldered over by DM twice. Despy rolls him up for 2. Despy then la magistral's him. Despy runs the ropes and is dropkicked. Shingo comes in and wants Shuji. They go face to face and shove each other. Shingo tries shoulderblocks on him. They trade forearms and Shuji drops him. Shuji lariats him.

Shingo is laid between the buckles and Shuji running knees him. Shingo lariats him from behind. Shuji misses a corner charge and is suplexed. Kato and Nagai get in. Nagai shoulders him over. Kato armdrags him and shoulders him over. Kato hits chops. Nagai dropkicks him.

DM gets in. He suplexes Kato for 1. They trade chops. Kato dropkicks him. DM takes corner attacks. Kato slams DM. Despy and Shuji do 2nd rope double stomps on DM for 2. Kato crabs DM. Kato chops DM then is spinebustered. Nagai spinebusters Despy. Shingo tries to spinebuster Shuji but can't.

Shingo's team does his taunt. Shingo's team then all hits elbow drops on their opponents. DM over the shoulder piledrivers Kato and pins him.

Thoughts: It was alright. It was nice to see Shuji and Shingo go at it some and Drilla was hyped up for this. Nagai tried here but his timing was off on the triple elbow drop spot. 

Gabe Kidd, Gedo & Yota Tsuji vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo, Don Fale & EVIL)

Gabe's team runs in and the battle starts. The 6 pair off. Fale is sent into Evil and knocks him over. Fale then takes a double shoulderblock. Gabe slams Togo then Yota splashes him. Gabe then sentons Togo for a 2 count. Gedo hits punches on Togo. Togo eye pokes him. Yota is sent into the rail by Evil and knocks the ring announcer over. Evil then chokes Yota with a microphone cord.

Togo knees Gedo in the back for 2. Fale stands on Gedo's back. Togo punches Gedo out on the outside and Evil gets a 2 count on Gedo. Evil suplexes Gedo for 2. Togo rins the bell and pretends Evil got the pin. Evil declares himself the winner.

Togo chinlocks Gedo. Togo snapmares him but misses a fist drop. Gedo fist drops him. Gabe comes in and exploders Evil. He tries to get Fale to come in and kicks the rope into his crotch. Gabe lariats Togo in the corner. Gabe delay suplexes Gedo for 2.

Gabe is hit with corner attacks from the heels. Gabe is set up for the Togo chop to the crotch but Gabe's team stops it. Yota flatliners Togo into a curbstomp then Gabe piledrivers Togo to win.

Thoughts: We knew either Gedo or Togo were losing here and it was Togo's turn. It was a basic match with the heels cheating some. We saw little of Yota here.

World Tag League 2025 Block B Match - Monster Sauce (Alex Zayne & Lance Archer) vs. House Of Torture (Ren Narita & SANADA)

Lance throws Ren down off the lock-up. Ren pushes the ref, tries to low blow Lance but gets blocked. Lance hits a double crossbody on his opponents. Lane slams Alex onto his opponents. Ren chokes Alex and Alex dropkicks him.

Alex springboard double knee drops Ren's back. San pulls Alex out and sends him into the rails. San eye rakes Alex. Ren chokes Alex in the ring. Ren chairs Alex outside. San boots Alex in the corner. Ren eye rakes Alex then spits something in Lance's eyes. Ren elbows Alex on the back of the neck.

Alex standing corkscrew ssp's Ren. Lances comes in and footpresses Ren down out of the corner. Lance hits running back elbows on the heels in the corner and spinebusters Ren. Lance misses a corner charge on Ren and goes into the exposed buckles. San dropkicks Lance and sends him to the apron. San then kicks the middle rope into Lance's crotch.

Lance hits San and San kicks him in the crotch on the sell. San tries to hit Lance with a guitar but is blocked. San pushes the ref into Lance then low blows Lance. Kanemaru comes out and spits whiskey in San's eyes when Lance moves.

Alex comes in and saves Lance. Lance black hole slams Ren. Lance chokeslams San. Lance hits blackout onto Alex onto San. Lance then pins San.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. We had a lot of House of Torture nonsense here which took up most of this one. They should have been DQ'd for pushing the ref, but weren't. 

World Tag League 2025 Block B Match - United Empire (Callum Newman & Great-O-Khan) vs. TMDK (Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.)

Khan and Oiwa lock up. Oiwa side headlocks him then takes him over. Khan headscissors him. They repeat the spot. Khan's fireman's carry throws him and headscissors him. Oiwa then armdrags Khan. Oiwa elbow drops Khan's arm.

Zack comes in and twists Khan's arm with his feet. Oiwa then tries a pin on Khan for 2. Zack ties up Khan's arms and pulls back on his fingers. Khan then ropebreaks. Oiwa yanks on Khan's arm. Zack comes in and Khan uranage's him. CN sends Oiwa into the rails outside.

Khan armlocks Zack then sits on his neck in the corner. CN hits mounted forearms on Zack. CN kicks Zack around. CN hits kicks on Zack. Zack twists his neck with his feet and low dropkicks him. CN running facekicks Oiwa, Oiwa shoulders him over then dropkicks him. Oiwa dropkicks Khan as well. 

Oiwa backdrops CN and sentons him for 2. CN superkicks Oiwa and punches him. CN dropkicks Oiwa. Khan hits knees to Oiwa's gut then double underhook suplexes him. CN hits a long range top rope double stomp on Oiwa. Zack gets in and hits euros on Khan. Khan shoulder throws him. CN then basement dropkicks Zack.

CN pumping knees Oiwa then Khan lariats Oiwa for 2. Oiwa double lariats his opponents. Zack PK's Khan for 2. Khan sleepers Zack. Zack throws Khan over for 2. Zack euros Khan and is pump kicked. Khan drives Zack into the mat face first. Khan spinning back rack claw drops Zack for 2. CN tries to plancha Oiwa on the outside but is forearmed down. Khan slingblades Zack. 

Khan straight punches Zack. Khan then takes a facekick + german combo and is pinned by Zack.

Thoughts: There were too many stylistic differences in this one for me and I didn't think it was that good. It just had a jerky flow to it and the rhythm wasn't there. 

World Tag League 2025 Block B Match - El Phantasmo & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura

Tana and Gedo wear ELP's sunglasses out.

ELP side headlocks Shota then is shouldered over. ELP rolls up Shota then is hiptossed. They both try a dropkick at the same time and headflip up together. Tana and Yuya get in. They trade wristlocks. Yuya full nelson's him then Tana wristlocks him. Yuya snapmares him into an armlock. Tana 2nd rope twisting crossbodies Yuya.

Yuya goes up and over Tana, armdrags him then dropkicks him in the knee. Shota comes in and elbow drops Tana's knee. Tana forearms Shota. Shota dropkicks him in the knee. Yuya comes in and stomps Tana's knee. Yuya and Tana trade forearms and Yuya boots him in the knee. Shota comes in and ddt's Tana's leg. Shota dragon screws him twice. Shota STF's Tana.

Yuya half crabs Tana. Tana forearms Yuya. Yuya back elbows him. Tana flying forearms Yuya. ELP comes in. He flips over Yuya, twisting 2nd rope crossbodies him then plancha's him outside. ELP springboard swanton's Yuya and then he asai moonsaults him for 2. 

Yuya backdrops ELP. ELP takes corner attacks. ELP goes under Yuya's legs and enzugiri's him. Tana comes in and hits shots on Shota. He slams him and Yuya. He then 2nd rope swantons them both. Shota dropkicks Tana in the knee. Tana dragon screws him. 

Tana and ELP do stereo texas cloverleafs together. Tana and ELP are pulled into each other. ELP superkicks Shota then Tana slingblades Shota. ELP and Tana go up top and get stuck. Tana is thrown down and ELP is superplexed down. Tana hits forearms on his opponents and is double dropkicked. 

Shota step up knees ELP from behind in the corner and sliding knees him for 2. ELP crucifixes Tana. ELP then cradles Shota for 2. ELP superkicks Tana. Shota hits a big lariat on ELP. ELP takes a lariat + dragon suplex combo. Shota fisherman busters ELP and pins him.

Thoughts: It went a little longer it needed to. Tana's leg was worked on in the first half of this but it was forgot about in the second half and that brought this down. Shota and Yuya were good here though and Tana could only keep up so much with their fast pace.

The four all get on their knees. Shota bows then ELP and Tana do too.

World Tag League 2025 Block B Match - David Finlay & Hiromu Takahashi vs. Knockout Brothers (OSKAR & Yuto-Ice)

HT chops Ice early. Ice chest kicks him. Ice takes a double back elbow then DF slams HT onto Ice. DF yanks on Ice's arm and knee drops it. DF stomps and foot chokes Ice in the corner. HT chops up Ice. Ice then facekicks him down.

Ice hits mounted forearms on HT. HT's face is banged off of Oskar's foot. Oskar chops HT in the corner. HT hits chops on Oskar then Oskar chops back. Oskar stomps HT in the corner. Ice chest kick flurries HT in the corner and spin kicks him. Ice corner meteora's him. 

Oskar comes in. He tries to choke HT but HT jumps on him and bites him. DF sends HT into Oskar twice in the corner. DF dominators HT onto Oskar for 2. Oskar spinning slams DF. Oskar then legdrops him for 2.

Oskar sleepers DF. DF jawbreakers Oskar then backdrops him. HT and Ice come in. HT dropkicks him in the corner and slaps him around. Ice boots him over and slaps him back. They trade chops for chest kicks. Ice then hits punches to the gut and high kicks him. HT takes a backbreaker + head kick combo. 

DF powerbomb throws HT onto Oskar outside. DF does a flurry of corner lariats on Ice and mocks his taunt. Ice then chest kick flurries him. DF hits lariats and spits on him. Ice then beats him down in the corner. DF ducks a PK. Ice spinning forearms him and DF uranage backbreakers him.

HT comes in and gets a 2 count on Ice. Ice eye pokes him. Ice knees him in the gut and headkicks him for 2. HT lariats Ice. HT goes for the tag but Oskar pulls DF down from the apron. HT hits chops on Oskar then Oskar forearms him down. HT superkicks ICe then pulls out Oskar. Ice forearms HT down then low single leg dropkicks him. DF then rolls up Ice out of nowhere and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't expect much out of this but I liked it. Finlay didn't do his usual slower paced power move match and acted as the big brother to HT, who got abused. I thought they told a good story here and did a good job with this.

DF talks on the mic after with HT still down and out of it. He says he could have won a million different ways but chose mercy today. He says other teams in this tournament won't get the same treatment. He asks HT how he feels but HT is out of it. DF says he feels "chogenki". He asks HT who his favorite partner is. He says HT said Hedo. DF then says HT says their team will win the tournament. DF asks if he has a message but HT still can't say anything and DF says, "ganbarimasu".

Overall thoughts: It was an average night here. We had the usual waste of time undercard matches that were just filled. I didn't care for the first two World Tag League matches. Tanahashi's match got off to a good start but it went on a little longer than it needed to and didn't quite hit the mark like I had hopes. The main was surprisingly good with them getting the logic down. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend this.
