Marigold 11/23/2024 Winter Wonderful Fight Day 2

They are at a weird arena here that has balcony seating but only one row which makes it kind of pointless. There's also a giant black wall that could use some kind of design. Chika Goto helps out with the show intro as usual.

Misa Matsui vs. Rea Seto vs. Komomo Minami

KM = Komomo Minami

Misa takes a double boot to start and a failed double dropkick. Both opponents then hit dropkicks. Misa goes to the apron, rolls in and then double crossbodies them. Misa running bak elbows both in the corner and running knees KM in the gut.

Rea slams Misa. They all try pins. Rea and KM trade chest forearms. Rea hits a nice dropkick on KM. Rea does cattle mutilation on KM. She then hooks her by the chin with her feet and pulls her arm. Misa breaks it up.

Rea hits chest forearms on Misa then Misa dropkicks her. Misa camel clutches Rea and KM basement dropkicks Rea while she's in the hold. Rea takes a double boot and double bulldog. KM dropkicks Misa. Misa kicks Rea and KM on the middle rope then crossbodies both against the bottom rope.

Misa suplexes KM for 2. KM cradles Misa. Misa knees KM in the gut. KM ddt's her off a suplex attempt. KM ddt's her then rolls over her back with a ddt. KM tries to pin Misa and Rea tries to pin Misa off of it. Rea slams KM for 2. KM rolls up Rea for 2. Rea rolls her up for 2. Misa breaks it up.

Misa fisherman suplexes Rea. KM flatliners Misa off the ropes. KM then rolls up Rea and wins.

Thoughts: It was a rookie match with a lot of pin attempts and dropkicks. Rea's shoulder was not down for the final pin but the ref let it go anyway. It was pretty basic and not that good.

Nao Ishikawa vs Yuuki Minami

They lock up and wristlock each other. Nao side headlocks her then snapmares her. Nao ties her up in the ropes and splashes her there. Nao slams and crabs her and Yuuki ropebreaks.

Yuuki hits a dropkick and throws her over by the arm. Yuuki flying dropkicks her then slams her. Nao shoulders her over and elbow drops her. Nao flying neckbreakers her. They trade chest forearms.

Nao chest forearms her over and Yuuki rolls her up. Yuuki hits more chest forearms then does a guillotine + hammerlock submission. Nao ropebreaks. Yuuki russian legswepes her then Nao backdrops her. Nao does an anaconda vice and Yuuki ropebreaks.

Yuuki rolls her up into a pin attempt for 2. Nao throws her off of her shoulder. Nao double underhook suplexes her for 2 then germans her for the win.

Thoughts: It was short, very basic and not that interesting. No one botched anything but you couldn't get much more simple than this one.

Nao is given a prize after for winning. 

Miku Aono & Naho Yamada vs. Hummingbird & Natsumi Showzuki

Nat = Natsumi Showzuki, Hum = Hummingbird

Hum and Naho try to dropkick each other at the same time. Hum hits a chest forearm flurry on the ropes. Naho rolls over her then is armdragged. Naho armdrags her back. They legsweep each other and stand off. Naho boots her then Hum hits a nice running dropkick for 2.

Hum backslides her then slams her. Hum runs the ropes, gets kicked by Miku then stunnered by Naho. Naho then sunset flips her. Naho bodyscissors rolls her around the ring. Miku is tagged in. She corner dropkicks Hum twice for 2.

Hum gets on her back and goes for a sleeper. Hum boots hr out of the corner then hanging triangles her over the top rope. Nat breaks it up. Hum dropkicks Miku for 2. Nat step up enzugiri's Miku then Miku spinning twisting slams her. 

Nat leg kicks her and kicks her in the back. Miku leg kicks her and kicks her in the back. Nat kicks Miku in the back. Miku PK's Nat for 2. Nat low dropkicks Miku then corner dropkicks her. Nat meteora's Miku for 2. Nat vader bomb double knee drops Miku then does one of the nastiest crabs ever on her. Miku no sells a fisherman's suplex and release germans Nat. Miku buzzsaw kicks Nat.

Naho comes in and dropkicks Nat. She then figure fours her but Hum breaks it up. Naho and Hum trade chest forearms. Hum bridges out of a lariat and spinning reverse headscissors Naho. Nat corner meteora's Naho for 2.

Naho hits a double stunner on her opponents then headhunters Nat for 2. They botch and angels wings then Naho hits one on her for 2. Nat takes a stiff double dropkick then Miku lariats Nat over. Naho misses a 2nd rope move on Nat then Nat rolls her up for 2. Nat then crucifixes Naho for the win.

Thoughts: It was one of Naho's best and worst performances which was interesting. She did some good stuff here but also had multiple messy moments. Her and Hum worked well together and the four girls did gel pretty well together. I'd like to see them try this one again.

Hum and Nat are given a prize after.

Mai Sakurai, MIRAI & Myla Grace vs. Bozilla, CHIAKI & Nagisa Nozaki

NN = Nagisa Nozaki, Boz = Bozilla

Mai's team is attacked before it starts. Chi forearms Mai down and everyone goes outside to fight. NN takes Mirai into the stands and bangs her head off a seat. NN tries to push Mirai off the balcony and Mai saves her. Chi walks Mai by the hair back to the ring. Mirai and NN trade shots in the stands.

NN reverse pendulum kicks Mirai over the 2nd rope. NN double chop flurries Mirai. Chi then double chop flurries Mirai.  NN then double chop flurries Mirai and Myla together and snap suplexes Mirai. Boz hair throws Mirai.

Boz takes a stunner over the ropes and Mirai flatliners her. Mirai takes NN ddt Chi. Boz curbstomps Mirai then corner splashes her. Mirai double upkicks Boz then basement dropkicks her. Mai gets in and top rope dropkicks Boz.

Mai hits chest forearms on Boz then facewash kicks her on the ropes. Mai and Boz hit each other on the ropes then Boz shoulders her over. Boz sentons Mai. Bozgets on the 2nd rope and Myla hits her. Boz falls to the outside then slams Mirai. Myla crossbodies Boz off the apron but is caught and slammed onto Mai.

Boz gets on the bottom rope and deadlifts Mai in. Boz misses a senton then Mai STF's Boz. That gets broken up quick. Mai rolls up Boz for 2. Boz headbutts Mai then pop-up throws her.

Chi basement dropkicks Mai and rakes her eyes. Chi throws her back then Mai facekicks her over. Chi is lifed and held for a Mai bulldog. Chi then takes a double basement dropkick for 2.

Chi hits chest forearms on Mai then Mai leg slices her for 2. Mai pump kicks Chi for 2. NN superplexes Mai then Chi cartwheel knee drops Mai for 2. Chi fisherman suplexes Mai for 2. Mai flying knees Chi. Mai northern lights suplexes her then Chi rolling spears her. Mai backdrops Chi and pump kicks her. Myla double underhook twisting ddt's Chi.

Myla rolls Chi into a crossface. Myla dropkicks Chi's face through the ropes. Myla backdrops Chi for 2. Myla slams Chi. Chi tries to chair her but Myla blocks it. Chi then codebreakers her with a chair. Myla is put in a chair and takes a triple boot over.

Chi chokeslams Myla. Myla take a head kick into a sitout burning hammer for 2. Boz lariats Mai and Mirai over then Chi spinning sitout torture rack bombs Myla to win.

Thoughts: It was a decent match. The action kept moving the whole time and it got enough time to mature. It could have maybe followed the traditional tag formula more and might have been better if it did. Myla had one of her better showings here. We didn't see a ton of Boz in this.

Chi beats up on Myla some after. Nagisa and Chiaki talk on the mic after and maybe seem to want a tag title shot. Mai and Mirai respond and they butt heads.

Kouki Amarei & Utami Hayashishita vs. Selene Flora (Kizuna Tanaka & Victoria Yuzuki)

Kiz = Kizuna Tanaka, Yuz = Victoria Yuzuki

Yuz wristlocks Utami and side headlocks her. Utami reverses it and side headlock takeovers her. Yuz headscissors her, headflips up and poses. Utami hits her for it. Yuz armdrags Utami then Utami drives her into the corner.

Kouki and Utami shoulderblock their opponents over then Utami slams Yuz for 2. Kouki boots Yuz in the corner then slams her twice. Utami snapmares and baseball slides Yuz. Utami then camel clutches her.

Utami gves it up and elbow drops her on the back. Yuz chest forearms Kouki. Yuz misses a dropkick and is stomped on then Yuz dropkicks her. Kiz running dropkicks Kouki a couple of times. Kiz armbars Kouki and Kouki armbars her.

Kiz takes a powerslams from Kouki. Utami sliding lariats Kiz when she comes in. Kiz rolls her up for 2 then Utami hits an air raid crash on her. Kiz dropkicks Utami twice then flying lariats her. Yuz tags in and dropkicks Utami. Yuz flying headscissors her and basement dropkicks her for 2. Utami hits a suplex on her. Kouki gets in and corner facekicks Yuz. Kouki cutters Yuz then splashes her for 2. Kouki rolls her up for 2 and Yuz dropkicks Kouki on the ropes. Yuz northern lights suplexes Kouki for 2.

Kouki backdrops Yuz for 2. Yuz rolls Kouki into a crucifix for 2. Yuz tornado ddt's Utami off of Kouki. Kiz is tagged in and she top rope dives on Utami and Kouki outside.

Kiz top rope dropkicks Kouki for 2. Kouki takes a double attitude adjustment and a double kick to the face. Kiz armbars Kouki and Kouki ropebreaks. Kiz fisherman suplexes her for 2. Kouki spinebusters Kiz then Kiz takes a facekick + torture rack drop combo. Kouki hits a nice dropkick on Kiz for 2.

Kiz hits re:dream on Kouki for 2. Utami lariats Yuz over hard and Kouki botches a dominator on Kiz. Kouki does a drop from her shoulder on Kiz for 2. Kouki then pins Kiz with a top rope 180 splash.

Thoughts: It was an okay main. The trios match would have been a better main though. Kouki did a little more here than usual and there was only one botch. I wouldn't say it was anyone's best work but it wasn't awful. Kiz and Yuz got in the main event at least.

Utami and Kouki are given a prize for winning after. They then talk on the mic and close the show.

Overall thoughts: It was a smaller Marigold show with only 5 matches. Nothing was great but the semi-main and okay were both fine and helped this one out. Naho had one of her better and worse performances her. Nao and Yuuki had a nothing match and the opener was the usual offering. I would give this a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't really recommend it.
