Kizuna Tanaka, Komomo Minami & Yuuka Yamazaki vs. CoCo, Seri Yamaoka & Shinno

Coco and YY start us off. YY side headlocks her then shoulders her over. Coco kips up and springboard diving armdrags her. YY armdrags her twice then get armdragged. Coco goes up to the buckles, 450's and armdrags off of it. YY dropkicks her. They stand off. 

Shin and KT get in. They trade forearms. KT hits forearms on the ropes. Seri comes in and dropkicks KT. Shin dropkicks KT. KT takes a double dropkick. KT is put in a double wristlock and bent over so Coco can pose on her. KT forearms Shin. KT running back elbows her in the corner then gut kicks her down.

KM gets in and dropkicks Shin. KM ddt's her for 2. Shin drops down and kicks her. Shin rolls her up for 2. Shin is popped up and dropkicks KM. Coco does a triple jump diving armdrag on KM and superkicks her. Coco 2nd rope asai moonsailts her for 2. 

Coco misses a 450 off the top. KM running cutters her. Coco takes a double russian legsweep for 2. Coco superkicks her then takes a flying kick. Seri and YY get in. They trade forearms. YY dropkicks her three times. YY facebusters her and shotgun dropkicks her for 2.

YY slams Seri. Seri 2nd rope diving spears her. Seri hits spears in the corner on YY. YY spinning bodyscissors her then 619's her. YY crabs her. KT and KM then grab holds at the same time. Seri spinebusters YY for 2. KT low flying knees Seri. YY jumping codebreakers Seri for 2. 

YY step up enzugiri's Seri then suplexes her for 2. YY takes a double high kick. YY is held for a shotei then spinebustered down. Seri spinning gutwrench suplexes her for 2.

KT cuty specials Shin. Shin uranage's her. Coco then asai moonsaults outside. YY and Seri trade roll-up's. Seri spears her twice for 2. Seri springboard dropkicks YY then germans her for the win.

Thoughts: It was a little longer for an opener but it was okay. Coco is a great find for Marigold. She's young and she can do all kinds of flying stuff that no one else really does in the company. She's going to be one to watch out for. Yuuka looked good as she usually does when I get to see her. I don't understand why Seri was in a match this low on the card. 

Momoka Hanazono, Nagisa Tachibana & Nao Ishikawa vs. Hummingbird, Kouki Amarei & Natsumi Showzuki

NT and NS go at it. NT tries to roll out of a wristlock but NS rolls with her. NS side headlocks her. NT running dropkicks her and hits chest forearms. NT is tripped into the ropes and dropkicked. NS stands on her gut then double stomps it. NT takes corner attacks. NS running knees NT for 2.

Hum comes in and dropkicks NT. NT crossbodies her for 2. Momo comes in and eye pokes NS. Momo is then booted by her opponents. Hum stomps on Momo. Momo avoids a corner attack and slaps Hum in the back of the head. Momo rolls her up for 2 then cradles her for 2. Hum eye pokes her and cradles her for 2. 

Hum basement dropkicks Momo. Nao and KA get in. Nao shoulders her over a few times. They trade chest forearms. Nao ddt's her. NS meteora's Nao against the bottom rope. KA drops NS into a dobule knee drop on Nao for 2. KA ties up Nao's arms and pulls and Nao ropebreaks.

KA headkicks her through the ropes. Nao slaps her. KA facekicks her then backdrops her. Nao germans her and sitout spinbusters her for 2. NT springboard crossbodies Nao for 2. NT low dropkicks KA then running dropkicks her in the corner. NT bulldogs her for 2.

KA suplexes her. KA runs the ropes and is hit with a party popper by Momo. KA takes a double suplex. NT runs up the buckles and twisting crossbodies KA for 2. NT la magistral's KA for 2. NS and Hum hit top rope moves while KA dominators NT. KA top rope 180 splashes NT and pins her.

Thoughts: It was just so-so. They didn't really get a good flow going and had a lot of people with limited skill sets doing all kinds of different things. This didn't really work.

Kuroshio TOKYO Japan vs. Megaton

Jiro does his long entrance. They do their taunts at each other. Mega shoulders him over and kicks him while he's down. Mega blows a whistle and does the stair-stepper on him. Jiro then rolls her up and pins her.

Mega gets on the mic after and they go back in.

Kuroshio TOKYO Japan vs. Megaton

They do their taunts at each other. Mega shoulders him over and does the stair-stepper again while blowing her whistle. Mega then gets pinned with a roll-up for a 2nd time.

Mega gets on the mic and asks for one more chance.

Kuroshio TOKYO Japan vs. Megaton

They do their taunts at each other. Mega shoulders him over. Mega kicks him while he's down. Mega blows a whistle and does the stair-stepper on him. Jiro then rolls her up and only gets a 2 count!

Mega hits slaps and throat shots. Mega grabs a fork from her shoes. The ref takes it. Mega grabs another fork, winds up and Jiro pins her.

Thoughts: This was all comedy as expected. I think they broke new ground here with them having the same exact match twice in a row and almost doing the same match a third time. 

Utami Hayashishita vs. Chika Goto

They lock up and go to the ropes. Goto corner lariats her then hip attacks her on the ropes. Goto headkicks her outside then boots her against the seats. Goto giant swings her and let's go. Then she does it again. Goto throws her in then corner hip attacks her.  Goto running hip attacks her. Utami flying back elbows her. Goto running hip attacks her for 2. 

Utami running back elbows her then running dropkicks her. Utami slams her for 2. They shoulder battle and Utami knocks her over. Goto shoulders her over. Goto suplexes her for 2 then slams her for 2. Utami torture rack drops her for 2. Utami air raid crashes her for 2. Utami hits a big forearm on her and Goto facekicks her down.

Goto running lariats her. Goto hits a big chokeslam for 2. They fight on the buckles. Utami superplexes her. Utami hits short arm lariats then a regular lariat for 2. Utami delay germans her and pins her.

Thoughts: I liked this. This was a solid heavyweight match with them suplexing each other and Goto doing hip attacks vs Utami's lariats. They didn't do a ton of stuff, but what they did looked fine and it showed Goto's continued improvement.

They hug after and Utami throws her down. 

Marigold Twin Star Title Match - Darkness Revolution (CHIAKI & Misa Matsui) (c) vs. Darkness Revolution (Nagisa Nozaki & Rea Seto)

The four trade shots and go outside. Chigusa Nagayo is on commentary. NN makes Chiggy hold Misa for double chops. NN brings out a cart and puts Misa on it. She then rolls her down the ramp, where Rea chops her. NN chokes her on the ropes and facekicks her.  NN then reverse pendulum kicks her. 

Misa slingblades NN inside. Chi comes in and spears NN. She legdrops her for 2. Chi abuses NN on the ropes. Chi does facewash kicks on NN then pump kicks her there. NN facekicks Chi. Chi codebreakers her. NN takes boots from both opponents. NN basement dropkicks Chi. NN ripcord facekicks Chi. Chi powerslams her for 2.

NN superplexes Chi. NN low facekicks her for 2. Rea flying neckbreakers Chi for 2. Rea armbars her. Rea dropkicks Chi against the bottom rope. Rea 2nd rope knee drops her arm. Chi low single leg dropkicks Rea. Rea whips Chi with a belt. Chi blocks a belt shot with a chair then chairs her. Chi corner cannonballs her.  

Misa throws a chair at Rea's head then gets her partner too. Rea takes her down by the arm. Misa dropkicks her. Rea hits chest forearms on Misa. Misa fisherman suplexes her for 2. Rea gets on Misa's back and pulls her arm. Rea does cattle mutliation on her. 

Chi backdrops Rea. Rea takes a double chokeslam. Misa flying knees  Rea for 2. They roll each other up. Misa has the pin but the ref is pulled out. NN makes Chi ddt her partner on chairs. Misa slams NN on chairs. Rea is slammed on NN. Misa top rope double stomps both opponents on chairs. 

Misa flying knees Rea then michinoku drivers her to win it.

Thoughts: It went too low and didn't have much heat. They went out early which got things off to a slower start and it just never recovered. It was mostly all more simpler moves and some moves on chairs.  

Misa's team talks on the mic after. Seri and Shinno come to challenge them for the next title shot after.

Marigold United National Title Match - Victoria Yuzuki (c) vs. Shoko Koshino

SK backdrops Yuz to start. They go out. SK tries to powerbomb her on the floor but falls over and Yuz lands on her. SK then powerbombs her on the floor. SK slams her twice for 2. Yuz flying headscissors her then dropkicks her. Yuz top rope plancha's her outside. 

They trade forearms inside. Yuz leg kicks her down then boots her in the head. Yuz basement dropkicks her against the ropes. SK cutters her. Yuz low dropkicks her in the head. SK hits chest forearms. Yuz chest forearms her down and spin kicks her in the gut. 

SK 2nd rope dropkicks her. SK top rope crossbodies her for 2. SK dragon sleepers her. SK is up top and Yuz snapmares her down. Yuz superkicks her. Yuz top rope dropkicks her for 2. They trade chest forearms. Yuz hits forearms to the head and drops her.

Yuz superkicks her. They fight up top. SK superplexes her and holds on for 2 more suplexes for 2. SK tornado ddt's her. SK lariats her for 2. SK suplexes her. SK top rope splashes her for 2. 

SK misses a top rope splash. Yuz pump kicks her. Yuz backdrops her for 2. Yuz does a neat side slam, misses a tornillo splash and is rolled up for 2. Yuz superkicks her for 2. Yuz does another side slam and does 2 bad running corkscrew splashes. Yuz top rope tornillo splashes her and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't a bad effort. SK did alright. Yuz barely hit some horrible running corkscrew splashes here and that didn't help things. Like the last match, the big problem was that the crowd was totally dead. I wouldn't be opposed to maybe seeing this again and SK is a lot better than she was last year.

GHC Women's Title Match - Takumi Iroha (c) vs. Mayu Iwatani

TI side headlocks her. TI takes her over, Mayu headscissors her and they stand off. They miss high kicks and high kick each other at the same time. They trade forearms. Mayu flying headscissors her. Mayu throws her over the top and tries to tope her but hits other girls instead. 

Mayu is sent into the post. TI kicks her outside. TI superkicks her in the gut. They go in the stands and TI kicks her down the steps. They go back in to avoid being counted out. TI crabs her in the ring. 

TI chops and kicks her in the corner. TI snapmares her and kicks her in the back. TI sharpshooters her. TI wheelbarrow germans her for 2. TI chest kicks her down twice. Mayu hits chops then slaps her. Mayu spin kicks her in the gut then TI spin kicks her back. Mayu low single leg dropkicks her. Mayu dropkicks her against the ropes. 

Mayu hurricanrana's her over the top rope. Mayu topes her outside.  Mayu tries to throw her in but TI 619's her under the bottom rope. TI suplexes her on the floor. Mayu dragon suplexes her on the apron. Mayu top rope splashes her for 2.

They trade forearms. Mayu hits a bunch of forearms on her. TI spinning forearms her and superkicks her. Mayu crucifix bombs her.  Mayu flying dropkicks her in the corner. They fight up top. Mayu hurricanrana's her from the buckles. Mayu dropkicks her from the buckles for 2.

TI spinning heel kicks her. TI powerbombs her. TI does a nasty lion tamer on Mayu. TI buzzsaw kicks her. Mayu rolls her up for 2.  Mayu rebound germans her and superkicks her. Mayu dragon suplexes her for 2. Mayu top rope moonsaults her for 2. TI pumping knees her. TI then top rope swantons her for 2. TI hits a Z360 on her for 2.

TI goes for a running powerbomb but is hit with a hurricanrana. Mayu superkicks her. Mayu goes for a double jump move but falls down, botching it. Mayu dragon suplexes her for 2. Mayu tope rope moonsaults her twice and pins her.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and was a main event style match as expected. TI beat up on her for the first part of this, Mayu got some offense in for a bit and they each went close to even until Mayu pulled it out. Mayu botched a double jump springboard poisonrana but because she never got up to the top, it didn't really take away from anything. I didn't like that they went more for the moves and less of the story and drama in the second half of this. I would still say this was okay but it had potential to be great.

Mayu talk on the mic after and Utami Hayashishita comes out to challenge her after.

A former K-1 fighter comes out to give flowers to the girls in the main.

Marigold World Title Match - Miku Aono (c) vs. Mai Sakurai

They lock up. Mai is backed up on the ropes and Mai slaps her on the clean break. Mai armdrags her then is armdragged back. Mai basement dropkicks her and they kip up together. Mai snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Mai running headkicks her through the ropes. Mai then driveby kicks her outside. 

Mik chokes her with a towel. They trade forearms outside. Mai's head is banged off the commentary table. Miku running PK's Mai. Mai slams Miku on the floor. Miku PK's her from the apron. Miku top rope dropkciks her inside then flying dropkicks her in the corner. Miku hits a chest kick flurry in the corner. 

Miku spin kicksh er in the gut then kicks her in the back. Mai screams at her and is ready for more, which she gets. Miku ties one leg up and crabs the other. Miku is laid on the top rope and is kicked. Mai suplexes her for 2. Mai armbars her. 

Miku spinning slams her for 2. Miku sliding lariats her for 2. Miku hits chest forearms and is pulled to the apron. Mik leg kicks her there then slams her on the apron. They both get on a table that is barely staying up. Mai headbutts her then does a nasty piledriver on the table edge, cracking the edge of the table only. Everyone goes to check on Miku like she's dead.

Mai boots her around in the ring then basement dropkicks her for 2. Mai STO's her. Mai top rope elbow drops her for 2. Mai STO's her and does an STF. Miku reverses it then Mai reverses that. Mia is on the 2nd rope and Miku germans her down.

They trade forearms on their knees. Mai kicks her while on her knees. Miku gets up and hits chest forearms. Mai flying knees her. Miku lariats her then hits mounted forearms. Miku buzzsaw kicks her. Miku tiger drivers her for 2. Mai backdrops her for 2. Mai styles clashes her for 1. Miku high kicks her and hits a glorious driver for 1.

They trade slaps on their knees. Miku lariats her. Mai dragon screws her then STF's her. Miku rainmakers her then does a grounded chickenwing. Miku running lariats her for 2. Miku goes for the glorious driver and Mai reverse ddt's her off of it. Mai basement dropkicks her. Mai triangles her then does hell's gate to her. Mai hits backdrops for 2. Mai STO's her for 2.

Miku kind of reverses a powerbomb into a pin attempt. Miku lariats her twice for 2. Miku hits buzzsaw kicks on her for 2. They get on the 2nd rope and Miku styles clashes her down for 2. Miku fire thunders her and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. It went on longer than it needed to and the spirit and energy just wasn't there. The crowd didn't react much either which destroyed this. Miku took a nasty piledriver on the end of a table here and both took some stiff moves. It wasn't awful and you could see where it could have worked but it failed to be the classic they were going for.

Miku talks after. Yuzuki, Mayu and Utami come out and talk. Multipel; roster members then come out and post as confetti sprays.

Overall thoughts: It was a long show. The opener was alright with Coco impressing. The second match was so-so. Jiro/Mega was comedy as expected but at least it didn't go on too long. Utami/Chika was a solid bout. The upper card didn't deliver though. The crowd didn't react at all and brought down all of the big matches. Yuzuki/Koshino was better than I expected though. Mayu/Iroha was okay. The main had the pieces to be good but it just didn't turn into anything special. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 and I thought it was just okay at best. They just didn't impress on the big stage as needed.

Shinno vs Kizuna Tanaka

Both girls have their moms with them. They trade forearms to start. Shin throws her over and kicks her back. KT does the same. They trade more kicks to the back. Shin is popped up and dropkicks her. Shin sharpshooters her. KT ropebreaks. KT hits forearms and armbars her. 

KT stomps her. Shin drops down out of a german and up kicks her. Shin pumping knees her then buzzsaw kicks her in the head. Shin kamigoye's her for 2. KT cuty specials her. Shin uranage's her. They headkick each other. KT headbutts her then hits re: dream for 2. KT flying knees her. KT cuty specials her and wins.

Thoughts: This was a good opener. It was short, explosive and stiff. They put a lot of energy and fire into this and it really worked out well. It felt like an oldschool AJW rookies match.

Everyone shakes hands and makes friends after.

Gauntlet Tag Team Match - Gigaton & Shoko Koshino vs. Chanyota & Erina Yamanaka vs. Hummingbird & Nao Ishikawa vs. Minami Yuuki & Nagisa Tachibana vs. Komomo Minami & Yuuka Yamazaki vs. Darkness Revolution (Nagisa Nozaki & Rea Seto) 

Shoko and Gigaton got the win here. Erina blasted Rea here with a spin kick to the face. I didn't like Rea using her belt in front of the ref without any punishment. Rea also took a very hard bump with a top rope dropkick + samoan drop combo. Shoko is the former Flying Penguin and she sang on her way to the ring. Nao was oddly in this match twice as Gigaton and as herself. Erina was the standout wrestler in this one as she really tried hard and looked good. It was good to have Shoko win here under her new gimmick. This went a little longer than it needed to but it went a lot better than I expected without embarrassing botches.

Minoru Suzuki vs. Megaton

I won't be covering this one. Suzuki won as expected.  

Sareee vs. Chika Goto

Sare forearms Goto as she enters. Goto then kicks her when she turns around. Goto grabs the legs and Sare ropebreaks with her rope on. They go outside and Goto is sent into the seats. Sare sends her into the buckles and hair throws her. Sare stands on her on the bottom rope.

Goto is slapped. She slams Sare for 2. Sare low dropkicks her twice. Sare ties her legs up and indian deathlocks her. Sare half crabs her. Goto shoulders her over multiple times. Sare hip attacks her on the ropes then boots her in the head. 

They trade shots to the chest. Goto corner lariats her then corner hip attacks her. Goto slams her for 2. Goto goes up top and is hit. Sare hits headbutts then 2nd rope superplexes her for 2. Goto slaps Sare while he's up top then throws her down. Goto sliding lariats her for 2.

Goto giant swings her. Goto hits running lariats then holds her by the hair for a lariat for 2. Goto chokeslams her for 2. They trade chest forearms. Sare dropkicks her against the ropes then dropkicks her through the ropes. Sare fisherman suplexes her.

Sare M. Bison stomps her for 2. Sare hits a top rope double stomp and pins her.

Thoughts: I never like these matches. Goto got a bit in on Sare, but she got dicked around and got whooped here. There was never any doubt that Sare was going to win. You do these types of matches with someone like Megaton, not Goto who is a semi-main eventer and someone who will be around all the time while Sareee may not be back.

Marigold Twin Star Title Match - Magenta (Maria & Riko Kawahata) (c) vs. Darkness Revolution (CHIAKI & Misa Matsui)

Chi and Misa do a dance for their entrance.

Chi's team attacks before the bell but are thwarted. Misa's and Chi's heads are banged off the post. Chi chairs Riko and Maria kicks the post on accident. Chi boots Maria in the head as she hangs off the apron then running facekicks her.

Chi eye rakes Maria then Maria dropkicks her. Maria facewash kicks Chi on the ropes. Maria slingshot double stomps her. Riko top rope dropkicks Chi then superkicks her for 2. Chi claws Riko it's broken up. Chi's team is pulled into each other. Riko does a dropkick + a splash. Riko is then popped up into a double stomp on both opponents. 

Chi rolling spears Riko. Misa top rope crossbodies Riko and Riko is legdropped for 2. Misa spin kicks Riko in the gut. Misa slingblades her. Misa ddt's Riko over the 2nd rope. Misa top rope dropkicks Riko for 2. Misa is hit with a running knee from Riko.

Misa throws Riko over and Riko gets a 2 count on her. Riko superkicks Misa then Misa flying knees her. Riko germans her for 2. Maria dropkicks Misa. Chi slams Maria and Misa flying knees Maria for 2. Riko hits knees to the head of Maria. Maria is powerbombed onto Riko. Misa top rope double knee drops Maria for 2.

Misa falcon arrows Maria for 2. Riko ducks a double boot and asai moonsaults 2 girls. Misa is hit with a double superkick then she takes a double chokeslam for 2. Maria flying kicks Misa for 2. Mria hits a michinoku driver on Misa, Misa no sells it then pins her.

Thoughts: It was basically a tornado tag with no one really tagging in and out at any point. I liked it. There was a lot of action and they kept up a fast pace. It could have been a little shorter but they all went out and had as good of a match as they could have had.

Chihiro Hashimoto vs. Seri Yamaoka

Seri shoots in but Chi gets on top of her. Chi rolls her by the legs. Seri's takedown is blocked and Chi armbars her. Chi rolls her on the mat. They get up. Chi rides her back. Chi does an abdominal stretch and gutwrench suplexes her.

Seri hits chest forearms then Chi forearms her down. Chi slams her and flipping sentons her for 2. Chi suplexes her. Chi swinging front facelocks her. Seri hits corner spears then 2nd rope diving spears her.

Seri slips on a springboard but lands on her feet when being thrown off the ropes. Seri dropkicks her. Chi hits a big shoulder throw. Chi arm throws her then hits a big spear for 2. 

Seri hits a bunch of slaps. Chi bolo punches her. Seri slaps back and Chi release germans her. Seri air raid crashes her. Seri then springboard dropkicks her. Seri hits a top rope splash for 2. Seri gutwrench suplexes her for 2. Chi hits a nice lariat then ties her legs up and pins her.

Thoughts: I was hoping for a longer match than what we got. The finish felt too soon. I liked it and thought they did a good job. They threw each other and hit each other hard. I also liked the focus on the amateur wrestling early. I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing a rematch between these two in a few years when Seri is fully developed. That may end up being great.

Marigold United National Title Match - Mai Sakurai (c) vs. Victoria Yuzuki

They lock up and go to the ropes. They trade side headlocks and Vic is taken over. They both get up. Mai hits a hard backdrop. Mai kicks her against the bottom rope then stands on her face. Vic flying headscissors her. Mai axe kicks her back for 2. Mai running facekicks her against the bottom rope. 

Vic is sent into the seats. Mai chairs Vic in the back and throws her out. Vic is put in a seat and Mai facekicks her. Mai tombstones her on the floor. 

Mai 2nd rope dropkicks Vic for 2. They trade chest forearms. Vic hip throws her. Mai suplexes her for 2. Mai armbars her. Mai facekicks her over the top rope. They fight on the apron. Vic germans her on the apron. 

Vic top rope plancha's her outside. Vic hits a top rope dropkick inside. Vic dropkicks her against the bottom rope for 2. Vic backdrops her then Mai backdrops her. Vic backdrops her then is backdropped again. Mai flying chest kicks her and Vic pump kicks her. They headbutt each other at the same time and go down.

They forearm each other then slap each other. Vic hits a slap combo then Mai slap combos her back. Vic does something like a blue thunder then takes a low dropkick. Mai flying pump kicks her then kicks her in the shoulder for 2. Mai top rope elbow drops her for 2. Vic rolls her up for 2. Mai facekicks her then pinning high kicks her.

Mai STO's her for 1. Mai facekicks her after taking a superkick. Mai STF's Vic. Mai hits a glorious driver for 2. Mai release tiger suplexes her then STF's her. Vic ties her arms up and pulls on her neck but Mai ropebreaks.

Vic pump handle blue thunders her then running tornillos her for 2. Vic hits a top rope spiral tap and wins.

Thoughts: It got a ton of time. The story/logic wasn't quite there for this to be the classic they wanted. They both went all out there and put out their best work. Mai's always good in these situations and Vic held up her part. This went well and it was a good match. This is Vic's biggest win ever.

Vic gets on the mic after. She says next year will be her 2nd anniversary as a wrestler. Vic says she will take the belt into the future. 

Marigold World Title Match - Utami Hayashishita (c) vs. Miku Aono

They do a double knuckle lock and fight for position. Utami takes her down and Miku headscissors her. Utami side headlocks her. Miku headlock takeovers her and they stare down. They shoulder battle. Utami dropkicks her. Utami cranks Miku's head and Miku ropebreaks.

Utami neckbreakers her then pounds on her. Utami basement dropkicks her. Utami cranks Miku's head again. She sliding lariats her against the bottom rope. They fight on the apron. Miku does a styles clash on the apron. Miku kicks her outside. 

Miku hits more kicks inside and kneebreakers her. Miku ties up one leg and crabs the other leg. Utami is put in tree of woe on the ropes and kicked. Miku pushes her leg against the bottom rope. Miku dropkicks her leg into the rope.

Utami hits forearms then dropkicks her in the face. Utami back body drops her but Miku turns it into a sunset flip. Miku high kicks her twice. Miku hits a nasty looking tiger driver for 2. Miku hits a styles clash on her for 2. Utami sleepers her.  

Utami torture rack bombs her. Miku kicks her in the leg then stomps on it. Miku does a texas cloverleaf then hits more kicks to the leg. Miku lariats her then Utami lariats her. Miku lariats her down twice. Miku does an awful 2nd rope reverse suplex with Utami getting dropped on her head.

Miku emerald flowsion's her for 2. Miku hits head kicks. Utami powerbombs her. Utami battering rams Miku head first into the buckles. Utami hits a spinning razor's edge for 2. Utami spinning lariats Miku for 2. Utami goes for a running lariat but Miku lariats her first. Miku rainmakers her for 2.

Miku running lariats her. Utami's head is banged off the buckles. Miku does a spinning razor's edge on Utami for the pin.

Thoughts: Miku worked the leg early and forgot about it minus a section in the latter half of the match. Utami did her high impact offense here. Utami worked the neck and I guess did follow up on it, but the neck is such a general area that it is hard to say. Utami took a horrible looking reverse superplex right on her head that she is lucky to have survived. I mostly liked this just for how stiff and hard hitting it was and thought it was good but it could have been a little better.

IYO SKY vs. Mayu Iwatani

They shake hands and stare down. They lock up. Mayu wristlocks her then Iyo side headlock takeovers her. Mayu headscissors her and Iyo headstands out. Mayu side headlock takeovers her. Iyo armbreakers her and euros the arm. Iyo headflops out of a flying headscissors. 

Iyo back elbows her and is pushed down. Iyo hits forearms. Mayu superkicks her in the gut. Mayu spinning headscissors her then basement dropkicks her. Mayu boots her and hits forearms. Iyo hits forearms and dropkicks her. 

Mayu is side stepped and thrown out. Iyo then topes her. Mayu then topes her. They forearm each other. Iyo flurries her and Mayu flurries back. Iyo cartwheels and backflips then basement dropkicks her. They fight on the buckles. Mayu spin kicks her on the apron then Iyo slams her on the apron. Iyo stands on Mayu's back then double stomps it. Iyo texas cloverleafs her. 

Iyo hair throws her and stands on her throat in the corner. Iyo pendulum double knees her in the corner for 2. Iyo double underhook backbreakers her. Mayu knees her out of the corner. Mayu backrolls her and basement dropkicks her. Mayu dropkicks her against the bottom rope.

Mayu headbusters her then does a high northern lights suplex for 2. Mayu top rope dropkicks Iyo for 2. Iyo rolls her into a double stomp. Iyo sunset flips her into a crossface. Iyo springboard dropkicks her then 619's her. Iyo springboard dropkicks her. Iyo top rope moonsaults her outside.

Iyo top rope dropkicks her. Iyo corner meteora's her for 2. Iyo goes up top and is headbutted. Iyo top rope shiranui's her. Iyo germans her three times for 2. Iyo forearms and boots her. Iyo hits hard forearms and Mayu chops her. Iyo buzzsaw kicks her. They reverse tombstones, Mayu drops her and then hits one.

Mayu buzzsaw kicks her and superkicks her. Mayu does another buzzsaw kick and slams her. Mayu crucifix bombs her for 2. Mayu dragon suplexes her for 2. Mayu top rope moonsaults her for 2. Iyo dragon suplexes her for 2. Mayu superkicks her then double jump blind poisonrana's her for 2. Iyo dragon suplexes her then straightjacket germans her for 2. Iyo tombstones her. Iyo top rope moonsaults her twice and wins.

Thoughts: I was surprised they didn't go to the draw here since they were close to it. Iyo had a great performance here and was just on another level. She was good as she ever was at times here. I thought it dragged a little but it lived up to to the hype and was a really good match. It was stiff and super athletic and high level women's wrestling. It was an action and moves based though without a clear story or faces and heels.

Iyo talks on the mic after. She thanks them for inviting her to Marigold and thanks Mayu. Iyo says she's here because Mayu is here. Iyo says Marigold has a future. She says they will meet again soon. Iyo lifts Mayu up. Mayu pushes her away. Mayu talks on the mic. She says she respects Iyo as a big sister but won't always play her little sister. Mayu says her story will play out intil the end. She says she wants to write history together. She says she will be here waiting for her. They pose together. Mayu says they need to close the show but Iyo isn't with Marigold and can't close the show. Mayu says the roster should close the show together.

The roster comes out. Miku Aono talks on the mic. She asks if we all enjoyed the show today. She asks if Marigold is the best. Victoria Yuzuki then asks the crowd to stand to say, "Shine Together, Marigold".

Overall thoughts: It was a great show. The opener got things off to a good start. The gauntlet wasn't a disaster. Sareee/Goto wasn't a total squash but it was too similar to one and didn't help raise Goto's stock. The tag title match was better than expected. I liked Seri/Chihiro and think it will be even better down the line. Mai/Yuzuki was good as was Utami/Miku. Iyo/Mayu lived up to the hype of being an athletic and stuff match though there wasn't a great story. Iyo was on her absolute A-game and had one of her best performances. All the big stuff really delivered here when it needed to and I'd give this an 8 out of 10. This was easily one of Marigold's best shows.

They had some traditional Japanese drummers perform prior to the show. 

Komomo Minami & Nagisa Tachibana vs. Shinno & Yuuka Yamazaki

No one wants to shake Yuuka's hand to start. NT and Shin go at it. NT wristlocks her and Shin does a nice reversal. NT side headlock takeovers her and Shin headscissors her. They stand off and Shin chest kicks her over. Shin hits a running dropkicks on her.

Shin slams NT For 2. Shin armdrags her into an armlock. Shin stomps her and armbreakers her. Yuuka shoulders NT over then chops her in the corner. NT cradles Yuuka for 2. NT basement dropkicks her. NT crossbodies her for 2. 

KM comes in and dropkicks Yuuka. She slams her for 2. Yuuka hits chest forearms on KM then dropkicks her. Yuuka slams KM for 2 then does a grounded sleeper. NT breaks it up. KM and NT hit stereo dropkicks. Yuuka takes a stunner and a hammerlock ddt for 2.  

KM takes a high kick from Shin. KM is kicked by both opponents in the back and chest. Yuuka step up enzugiri's her for 2. KM then gets a surprise roll-up on Yuuka and pins her.

Thoughts: The ending was a bit out of nowhere but it was fine. Shinno and Nagisa had good showings. Yuuka didn't get much of a reaction. Shinno's already doing all the right stuff and I have some faith in her to develop into something. 

Gigaton & Megaton vs. Hummingbird & Minami Yuuki

Gigi and Mega pose as they enter and Giga has a toy axe with her. 

Yuuki and Mega start us off. They lock up. Hum tries to help Yuuki win the lock-up but fails. Mega then stomps both. Mega blows a whistle and her and Giga do the stair stepper on their opponents backs.  

Giga grabs her axe and the ref takes it. Yuuki running dropkicks Giga then is shouldered over. Yuuki arm throws Giga then low dropkicks her for 2. Hum comes in and dropkicks Giga. Gigi does a cartwheel and just taunts Hum. Giga butt drops Hum out of the corner. 

Giga is cradled off a suplex for 2. Hum dropkicks Giga in the corner. Hum running dropkicks Giga. Hum hits chest forearms on Mega and throws her whistle. Mega shoulders over Hum then slams her. Mega gets on the bottom rope then Yuuki arm throws her. Hum rolls up Mega then Mega gets a pin attempt in. Giga swings an axe at Yuuki and fights the ref for it. Yuuki dropkicks Giga to stop that. Hum then does a pin attempt on Mega and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. It was mostly bad comedy that got no reaction. 

All the girls in the GP come out for a ceremony. Misa Matsui talks on the mic. 

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 STAR League Match - Chanyota vs. Kizuna Tanaka

They shake hands and Kiz hits chest forearms off of it. Chan shoulders her over. Kiz's head is banged off the buckles. Kiz hits more chest forearms then is slammed. Chan elbow drops her for 2.

Chan stomps on Kiz then Kiz flying lariats her. Kiz twisting suplexes her for 2. Chan slams Kiz then Kiz low dropkicks her. Kiz fisherman suplexes her for 2. Kiz then armbars her and tries a crucifix. Kiz armbars her again. Chan powerbombs her down to escape.

Chan hits corner lariats on her then torture rack drops her for 2. Chan hits chest forearms. Kiz rolling pins her for 2. Kiz misses a dropkick but Chan sells it anyway. Kiz crucifixes her for 2 and buzzsaw kicks her. Chan spinning backdrops her.  

Kiz goes for another armbar. Chan hits a big lariat then Kiz hits re:dream on her for 2. Kiz high kicks her then Chan running lariats her. Chan botches a suplex for 2 then crossfaces her. Kiz submits.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. They tried but they had a sloppy night. Kiz worked the arm most of the match and tried various pins.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 DREAM League Match - CHIAKI vs. Victoria Yuzuki

Yuz = Victoria Yuzuki

Yuz misses a lock up and Chi side headlocks her. Yuz rolls her up for 2. Chi basement dropkicks her. Yuz's headscissors is blocked with a side slam. Chi does facewash kicks on Yuz. 

Chi stomps Yuz outside then sends her into the seats. Chi drops a chair on Yuz outside. Yuz sends Chi hard into the seats. Yuz is slammed by Chi inside for 2. 

Chi iron claws Yuz then Yuz flying headscissors her. Yuz dropkicks her through the ropes for 2. Yuz does a stiff backdrop on Chi's neck. Chi pulls the ref in front of Yuz then pushes the ref into her. Chi grabs her chair and Yuz blocks a chair shot. Yuz superkicks the chair into Chi then Chi throws it into her.

Chi suplexes Yuz on the chair then throws the chair at her head. Chi sitout burning hammers Yuz. Yuz no sells it and gets a 2 count on her. Yuz superkicks her in the head for 2. Yuz superkicks Chi then does a weird wrist clutch blue thunder. Yuz running inverted tornillo's Chi and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like all the cheating and the trip outside hurt some of the momentum early on. I didn't like the ref doing nothing about the cheating either. It would have been better as a normal match. Yuzuki busted out two new moves I hadn't seen before near the end.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 DREAM League Match - Maria vs. Kouki Amarei

Maria running dropkicks her to start and pulls KA's arms back. KA's head is banged off the buckles. Maria spins her around by the hair and throws her. Maria facebusters her then camel clutches her. Maria puts lipstick on the ref's face, giving him fake eyebrows. 

KA hits facekicks and Maria facekicks back. KA facekicks her for 2. KA hits a cutter and a falling splash for 2. Maria does an octopus variation in the air and KA ropebreaks. Maria hits facekicks on KA over the midlde rope. Maria ties up KA in the ropes then paints her face with her lipstick. 

KA does a jack knife pin for 2. KA ripcord spinebusters her then hits mounted forearms. KA then hits mounted headbutts. KA backdrops her for 2. KA is on the buckles and Maria fights her up there. Maria does an octopus up there then snapmares her down.

Maria running dropkicks her and KA reverses her pin attempt. Maria does another octopus variation and really cranks KA's arm back, forcing her to tap out.

Thoughts: This also got no reaction here. It got off to a pour start. Kouki didn't really have the fire or the speed to ever pick this one up and it was mostly the heel dominating before winning. To her credit, Maria worked the arm most of the match and won with an arm submission. 

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 STAR League Match - Misa Matsui vs. Chika Goto

Goto offers a test of strength but Misa stomps her foot. Misa side headlocks her then Goto shoulders her over. Misa slides out to stall. Goto goes after her and is chaired in front of the ref. Misa whips Goto into the seats then pulls on her head there. Goto is then sent into the post.

Misa stomps on Goto and armbars her. Misa chest forearms her. Goto slams her. Goto running hip attacks her on the ropes twice for 2. Misa clubs on Goto. Goto reverse giant swings her and Misa rolls her up out of it for 2. Misa double stomps her. Goto then does a regular giant swing for 2.

Goto landslides Misa for 2. Misa spin kicks her in the gut then runs into a facekick. Misa does an octopus on her. Misa kicks Goto's arm against the ropes. Misa top rope dropkicks her for 2.

Misa top rope double stomps her for 2. Misa runs into a big lariat then Goto chokeslams her. Misa la magistral's her but Goto reverses it and pins her.

Thoughts: Goto got a reaction at least en route to winning. It wasn't anything special and didn't click as well as it should have.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 DREAM League Match - Utami Hayashishita vs. Rea Seto

Utami is dropkicked as she poses. Rea kicks her around and stomps on her outside. Rea foot chokes her in the ring while wrapping her arm around the top rope. Utami side slams her. Chiaki trips Utami outside. Rea then whips Utami with a whip and chokes her with it.

Utami slams her and Rea goes for the armbar. Utami running back elbows her then dropkicks her. Rea bites Utami's fingers and Utami samoan drops her. Utami sliding lariats her for 2. Utami hits an air raid crash for 2.

Utami germans her. The ref is pushed in front of Utami and Rea hits Utami with a title belt. Rea knee drops Utami's arm off the buckles. Rea does cattle mutilation to her. Utami ropebreaks.

Utami does a nice side throw and running lariats her. Rea no sells it then is lariated down again for 2. Utami delay germans her and wins.

Thoughts: It made sense with Rea using dirty tactics from the start and trying to cheat her way to victory before being thwarted. It was pretty average though.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 STAR League Match - Nagisa Nozaki vs. Mai Sakurai

NN flying dropkicks her to start. NN does her reverse pendulum kick while Mai hangs over the apron. NN then just hits a bunch of punches and drops her with one. NN takes a hanging triangle in the ropes. Mai running facekicks her then top rope dropkicks her. 

NNN front kicks her for 2 then reverse pendulum kicks her in the ribs. NN goes up top and is kicked. Mai superplexes her down. Mai backdrops her then basement dropkicks her for 2. Mai then STF's her. Mai STF's her then top rope elbow drops her for 2.

NN hits kicks on her then single leg basement dropkicks her. Mai flying knees her then does a pin attempt for 2. NN flying single leg dropkicks her for 2. Mai glorious drivers her then passes her out with the STF to win.

Thoughts: It was about average. It could have been a bit faster at times. Mai worked the STF a bit before winning with it.  

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 STAR League Match - Miku Aono vs. MIRAI

They stare down and shake hands. They each avoid a shot and stand off. They do a bad hockey fight and Mirai grounded sleepers her. Mirai mounts her and does a kimura. Miku waistlocks her and Mirai side headlocks her. They ropebreak.

Mirai hits forearms. Miku kicks her in her inner leg then kneebreakers her. Miku kicks the leg more. Miku ties up one leg and crabs the other. Mirai ropebreaks.

Miku wraps her leg around the ropes then dropkicks it. Miku hits more leg kicks. Mirai bangs Miku's leg off the mat. Mirai pulls back on the leg. Miku leg kicks her. Mirai bangs Miku's knee off the mat. They shoulder battle.  

Mirai cradles her then ankle locks her. Mirai ankle locks her. Mirai stomps and kicks the leg. Mirai does a suplex on her for 2. Mirai half-nelson slams her. Miku spinning twisting slams her for 2. Miku sliding lariats her for 2. Miku double underhook suplexes her then olympic slams her for 2.

Miku lariats her on the ropes then chest kicks her. Mirai headbutts her then backdrops her. Mirai running lariats her then they lariat each other at the same time. Miku high kicks her for 2. Mirai goes for a pin and the time limit expires.

Thoughts: I didn't think this was good. It went to a draw like prior matches between them have which didn't help things. They made it clear it would too when they started doing time call outs.They focused on legwork early then just started trading bigger moves and lariats at the end instead of continuing with the leg work. 

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 DREAM League Match - Mayu Iwatani vs. Seri Yamaoka 

Seri takes her down and Mayu side headlock takeovers her. Seri headscissors her then rolls her for 2. Seri misses a dropkick and Mayu basement dropkicks her. Mayu hits leg kicks on her. Mayu basement dropkicks her for 2.

They trade chest forearms and Mayu kicks her while she's down. Seri runs the ropes and gets caught in them with her neck. Seri dropkicks her then rams her in the corner. Seri corner spears her.

Mayu spin kicks her in the gut and Seri spinebusters her. Seri ties her legs up. Seri air raid crashes her for 2. Mayu throws her down off the buckles and kicks her in the back of the head. Mayu misses a top rope splash. Seri running spears her. Seri hits a top rope splash for 2. 

Seri runs into a superkick. Mayu low dropkicks her against the ropes. Mayu release germans her. Seri gets a 2 count on her. Mayu superkicks her. Seri germans her for 2. Seri ducks a buzzsaw kick and hits triple germans. Seri then shockingly gets the pin on her.

Thoughts: I liked Seri's amateur wrestling here and she had some really nice looking pins. I don't know if Seri really took enough offense in this or got dominated enough to make her comeback and win good enough though. I just thought it was a match and not that good.

Seri talks on the mic after and ends the show. 

Overall thoughts: It was a rough show to get through. The crowd didn't care at all until the upper half of the card and I didn't really like anything that much here. Marigold has some good wrestlers up on the top of the card but some lousy ones on the bottom half of the card and the bottom half dominated this one in a bad way. I would not recommend this one at all and would give it a 3 out of 10.

Hummingbird, Megaton, Nagisa Tachibana & Nao Ishikawa vs. Komomo Minami, Minami Yuuki, Shinno & Yuuka Yamazaki

Hum's team attacks to start. Hum facebusters Komomo. Hum and Nao knock over 2 opponents together. Komomo takes corner attacks. Hum slams Minami for 2. Nagisa hits a nice dropkick on Minami then Minami dropkicks her back.

Shinno gets in and is dropkicked by Nagisa. Nagisa stunners her. Nagisa hits a bulldog on her for 2. Shinno chest kicks Nagisa down then sharpshooters her but it's broken up. Shinno's team all put submissions on at once together and the ref makes them break.

Nagisa crossbodies Shinno. Mega comes in, does a tiger pose and is kicked by Shinno. Shinno drops her with a high kick. Yuuka hits shoulderblocks on Mega then Nao shoulders yuuka over. Mega splashes Yuuka then steamrollers her. Yuuka basement dropkicks Mega.

Nao is tripped then she takes a double basement dropkick. Yuuka step up enzugiri's Mega for 2.
Nagisa dropkicks Yuuka. Hum hanging triangles Yuuka. Mega splashes Yuuka for 2. 3 members of Nagisa's team take dropkicks. Shinno jumping knees Mega. Mega then takes a dropkick + russian legsweep combo. Yuuka cutters Mega and pins her.

Thoughts: It was acceptable for an opener. Nagisa had a good night here and no one really botched anything. Maybe things could have been a bit more clean but I was alright with this. 

All of the girls in the Dream Star Grand Prix come out to the ring with sashes and the trophy. Victoria Yuzuki and Seri Yamaoka seem to take some kind of pledge together. The girls then all pose for a photo.

Seri back body drops her then ties her legs up. Chi claws her again. Seri hits a shotgun dropkick for 2. Chi hits punches then spears her. Seri no sells it then spears her back for 2. Seri hits mounted forearms. Seri spinebusters her for 2. Chi powerslams her for 2. Chi chokeslams her for 2. Chi torture racks her. Seri flips. Seri hits triple gutwrench suplexes without letting go and does a full-nelson pin to win.

Thoughts: It was an average match for the most part. No one did anything bad or anything and Seri did alright for her experience level but it wasn't great. Seri's gutwrench suplexes were a thing of beauty. I didn't like Seri no selling the german though.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 STAR League Match - Nagisa Nozaki vs. Kizuna Tanaka

Kiz corner dropkicks NN before it starts then hits a forearm flurry. NN chest forearms her then Kiz flying lariats her for 2. NN corner facekicks her. NN then sleepers her and Kiz ropebreaks. Kiz's head is banged off chairs outside then she is sent into the post. NN curbstomps her outside then does her pendulum kick inside.

NN top rope dropkicks her. Kiz hits forearms to the gut then she rolls her up for 2. Kiz low flying knees her for 2. Kiz fisherman suplexes her for 2. NN superkicks her in the gut then Kiz hits re:dream for 2. NN facekicks her for 2.

NN superkicks her in the head and hits a basement dropkick for 2. NN hits a flying claymore kick and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and not too much of note. Kiz brought the fight, was the spunky underdog and got beaten pretty easily. NN did her usual kicks and not a lot else.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 DREAM League Match - Kouki Amarei vs. Rea Seto

Rea dropkicks her in the knee then stomps the knee. Rea pulls KA's leg around the ropes then dropkicks it. Rea is tripped into the ropes and KA facekicks her there. Rea dropkicks her for 2.

Rea ankle locks her then does a calf crusher variation. KA cutters her then she splashes her for 2. KA facekicks her then Rea rolls her into a leglock. KA backdrops her. KA jumping facekicks her for 2. KA jumping facekicks her and wins.

Thoughts: Rea tried to take out the leg here with boots to the knee and an ankle lock. KA fought through and won. There was some logic but both of these girls are rather limited and there wasn't much to it than that. This was also a shorter bout.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 STAR League Match - MIRAI vs. Chika Goto

Goto takes her down and Mir rolls her over. Mir armbars her then goes for another when Goto breaks it up. Mir yanks on her arm then elbows it. Mir presses Goto's arm into the mat. Goto hits chest forearms.

Mir trips her and goes for a hold but Goto ropebreaks. Mir hits a corner lariat. Mir goes onto the 2nd rope, Goto grabs her and Mir cradles her. Mir pulls both of Goto's arms back and Goto ropebreaks.

Mir runs into a big facekick from Goto. Goto hip attacks her on the ropes then kicks her in the head over the 2nd rope for 2. Mir misses a corner attack. They shoulder battle. Goto shoulders her over. Mir shoulders her over. Goto slams her for 2. Goto giant swings her. Mir then rolls her into a pin and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and the lack of time hurt it. I didn't think it clicked that well and it was not a very exciting match. They should have just shoulder battled and lariated each other most of the match until someone went down and I think it would have worked out better.

Mirai is given a prize from a sponsor for winning after.

MM spin kicks her in the gut. Miku dodges a dropkick and hits her own. MM running dropkicks her then throws her out. MM chairs Miku right in front of the ref, who doesn't care. Miku is then sent into the seats. Miku kicks her in the back then MM clubs on her. MM is sent into the post then MM high kicks the post when MM ducks.

MM bangs Miku's leg off the post. Miku is put in tree of woe. MM slaps her there and running knees her in the gut. MM figure fours her. MM ties her up in the ropes then pulls on her face and running knees her. Miku drops her chest first off a casadora attempt and kicks her in the ribs. Miku corner dropkicks her then hits chest kicks. Miku hits a hard leg kick then double underhook suplexes her. Miku sliding lariats her for 2.

MM eye rakes her then flying knees her. Miku then does a bad lariat from behind. They trade chest forearms. MM stretch mufflers her. Miku ropebreaks. Miku then goes for the buffalo sleeper.

Miku hits chest forearms then lariats her on the buckles. Miku blocks a hurricanrana then high kicks her. Miku tiger drivers her for 2. MM rolls out of a glorious driver and bridge pins Miku to win.

Thoughts: Misa worked the leg for a lot of this though at the end it was all Miku getting the offense in. I didn't like Misa chairing Miku in front of the ref with no punishment for it. They tried and I think the idea was alright enough here for this to be okay but if they sped things up a little and went a little harder, I think it could have been better.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 DREAM League Match - Mayu Iwatani vs. Maria

Maria rolls out of a lock up and poses. Maria thne rolls out again and stalls. She taunts Mayu outside. Maria stalls more then is armdragged. Maria hits a basement dropkick then rubs Mayu's face on the top rope.

Maria chokes Mayu with a towel. Maria whips her with a towel. They trade shots and Maria stomps on her. Mayu hits kicks to the back. Mayu stomps on her and whips her head first into the buckles.

Mayu dropkicks Maria against the buckles for 2. They trade forearms. Mayu spin kicks her in the gut then Maria dropkicks her. Maria facekicks her on the ropes. Maria then slingshot double stomps her. Maria kicks her in the back for 2.  

Mayu germans Maria. Maria no sells it and claymore kicks her for 2. Maria goes for a slam and Mayu rolls her up and wins.

Thoughts: The story of this was Maria stalling and getting on Mayu's nerves then Mayu roughing her up for it. Something happened at the finish here as it didn't seem planned and Mayu sold her wrist like crazy after. This was fine but could have used a better finish.

Mayu taunts her and Maria boots her before leaving.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 STAR League Match - Mai Sakurai vs. Chanyota

They trade chest forearms to start in an aggressive fashion. Chan shoulders her over. Mai cartwheels out of a hair throw and dropkicks her. Mai kicks her in the chest then running facewash kicks her for 2.  Mai armbars her.

Chan flying shoulders her. Chan corner lariats her. Chan 2nd rope diving shoulders her. Chan samoan drops her for 2. Mai basement dropkicks her. Chan hits corner spears. Chan sliding lariats her for 2. Mai backdrops her.

Mai flying knees her. Mai suplexes her. Mai tries a top rope elbow drop and Chan gets her knees up. Chan crossfaces her. Mai 2nd rope superplexes her. Mai goes back up top and Chan headbutts her. Chan 2nd rope samoan drops her. They fight outside. Chan hits some bolo punches to the head and lariats her for 2. Mai then stf's her.

Mai hits an STO for 1. Chan fires up, runs into a face kick then is hit with a buzzsaw kick. Mai shotgun dropkicks her for 2. Chan sleepers her then grounds her with it. Mai ropebreaks. Chan hits a big lariat for 2. Chan jackhammers her then hits a wrist-clutch sitout powerbomb and wins.

Thoughts: It started off hot with some fiery forearms and strikes. It cooled off as it went on but Chan kept doing comebacks and showing fire and I thought it was good overall even if it wasn't perfect. I'd like to see this one again and I thought the two worked pretty well together.

DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2025 DREAM League Match - Utami Hayashishita vs. Victoria Yuzuki

They trade wristlocks. Utami side headlock takeovers her and Yuz headscissors her. They then stand off. Yuz armdrags her then dropkicks her. Yuz springboard dropkicks her. Yuz then top rope plancha's her outside.

Yuz top rope dropkicks her for 2. Yuz tries a chickenwing and Utami ropebreaks. Utami dropkicks her. Utami blocks a flying headscissors with a backbreaker. Utami slams her. Utami hits a basement dropkick to her back for 2.

Yuz rolls into a dropkicks on her. Utami samon drops her for 2. Yuz side headlock takeover her and dropkicks her through the ropes for 2. Yuz low dropkicks her. Utami catches her in the corner with an air raid crash for 2. Yuz flips out of a german and double stomps her. Yuz then superkicks her in the head for 2.

Yuz backdrops her for 2. Yuz wrist-clutch sitout powerbombs her and is german'd. Yuz no sells it then is back body dropped. Yuz germans her for 2. Utami lariats her.

Yuz armdrag rolls her into a crucifix for 2. Yuz superkicks her then rolls her again into a crucifix and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it for the most part. This was all about Yuz going for the upset with various pin attempts until she managed to pull it off. Utami could have used a little more of her brutal offense here but I thought they mostly got this one right. 

Yuz then does an excited speech after and is given a gift for winning.

Overall thoughts: The opener was fine. Chiaki/Seri was average. Nagisa/Kizuna wasn't that good. There was some logic to Rea/Kouki. Mirai/Goto didn't work as well it should have. Miku/Misa was alright with Miku working the leg. I liked Mayu/Maria minus the weird finish. Mai/Chan was the best match of the night with Chan going for the upset and showing a lot of fire. The main was similar to the sei-main with Yuzuki also pulling off the upset. I think I'd give this a 7 out of 10 total. It had enough solid wrestling and they beat my expectations here with a decent main, semi-main and third match from the top. I liked this show overall.

Mai wristlocks her and is reversed. Mai wristlocks her again. Shin snapmares her and sleepers her. Mai goes for an armbar. Shin hits kicks on her then hits a uranage. Shin stomps on her and Mai facekicks her. Mai hits stomps to the leg and elbow drops it. 

Mai stomps Shin's knee then corner facekicks her. Mai facewash kicks her then grounded sleepers her. Shin's nose is busted open and she hits forearms. Shin running dropkicks her. Shin then armdrags her into an armbar. Shin does a twisting bodypress on her. Mai slams her for 2. Mai crabs her and Shin ropebreaks. Mai stomps on her back then Shin chest kicks her down. Shin sharpshooters her and Mai ropebreaks.

Shin stomps on her then they trade forearms. Mai forearms her down then Shin high kicks her. Mai forearms her over then running kicks her for 2. Mai does a shining facekick for 2. Shin hits a spinning heel kick, a pumping knee and a buzzsaw kick. Shin hits a kamigoye for 2.

Mai STO's her. Shin hits a pumping knee then Mai flying chest kicks her. Mai backdrops her for 2. Mai STO's her then puts her in an STF. Shin then taps out.

Thoughts: It was a long debut match as Marigold debuts often are. It was a great debut for Shin though. She sells her and is a natural face. She got all bloodied here though which is a shame since it's her big debut. You can tell Shinno has watched some wrestling and gets what she's doing. She's not super athletic or anything but she should be good.

Chanyota, Erina Yamanaka, Nagisa Tachibana & Ryoko Sakimura vs. Darkness Revolution (CHIAKI, Megaton, Misa Matsui & Nagisa Nozaki)

Mega and Chan go at it. Mega tries to scare her and gets booted. Mega bites her hand and they shoulder battle. Mega hits forearms to the chest and is shouldered over. Mega takes corner attacks then Mega takes a double dropkick and a double elbow drop for 2.

Nagista hits low dropkicks on Mega. Mega shoulders her over then low crossbodies her for 2. Ryoko flying kicks Mega from behind. Mega avoids a double dropkick and her partners help out.

Nozaki running facekicks Nagisa in the corner. Nozaki STO's Erina and forces her to ddt her partner. Chiaki then spears Nagisa on the ropes and Nozaki facekicks Nagisa on the ropes. Nozaki hits her reverse pendulum kick on Nagisa.

Misa basement dropkicks Nagisa for 2. She hits knees to the head. Nagisa hits chest forearms. Misa knees her on the ropes then Nagisa crossbodies her for 2. Ryoko comes in and hits dropkicks on Misa for 2. Erina hits a top rope crossbody on Misa then Ryoko puts a submission on Misa that is broken up. Ryoko hits knees to Misa's gut. Misa superkicks her in the gut.

Nozaki chairs Ryoko in the back. The girls all fight over a chair then Mega breaks it up. Ryoko is put on a chair and she takes a double basement dropkick to get knocked over. Misa running knees Ryoko for 2. Mega isp ushed into Misa. Misa hits Mega for it then Chan hits a double lariato n them. Ryoko rolls up Misa for 2. Misa flying knees Ryoko for 2.

Ryoko takes a triple facekick. Misa top rope double stomps Ryoko and wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent match. We didn't get to see much of Chiaki or Erina here. It was fast paced and we got some multi-person spots before going home.

Mega's team leaves without her after and she is pushed.

Chika Goto & Minami Yuuki vs. Kizuna Tanaka & Kouki Amarei

Yuuki and Kiz go at it. Kiz takes her down by the arm and Yuuki low dropkicks her. Kiz low dropkicks her and Yuuki goes for a pin. Kiz forearms and kicks Yuuki. Kiz takes a double boot then Yuuki is lifted and butt drops Kiz. Goto facekicks Kiz then hip attacks her on the ropes.

Goto giant swings Kiz. Goto and Kouki pull each others hair. Goto hits mounted forearms then does an indian deathlock on her. Goto drops back on it. Kouki ropebreaks and Goto won't let go.

Goto running facekicks Kouki. Kouki facekicks Goto then hits a cutter. Goto falls on a slam on Kouki then legbars her. Kiz breaks it up. Kouki running boots Goto then Goto running lariats her. Goto facekicks Kouki. The two trade forearms on their knees and both go down.

Yuuki running dropkicks Kouki then top rope dropkicks her for 2. Yuuki backdrops Kouki then Kiz flying lariats Yuuki. Yuuki is held for a running boot to the head. Yuuki takes a botched twisting drop from Kouki's shoulder.

Goto takes kicks from both opponents. Kouki facekicks Yuuki then backdrops her for 2. Kouki hits a top rope twisting splash and pins Yuuki.

Thoughts: It was so-so as expected. Everyone in this is kind of limited and that doesn't lead to quality most of the time.

Elimination Match - Team Marigold (Hummingbird, Komomo Minami, Nao Ishikawa, Natsumi Showzuki & Rea Seto) vs. Team Marvelous (Ai Houzan, Maria, Riko Kawahata, Senka Akatsuki & Sora Ayame)

Sora is in the blue, Ai is in the yellow and Senka is in the red.

The 10 fight to start. Hum hits forearms on Ai then rolls her. Hum low chest kicks her. Hum hits chest forearms. Ai double chops her then low running double chops her. Sora running dropkicks Hum four times then hits chest forearms. Hum running dropkicks her.

Natsumi rolls Sora by the hair then foot chokes her in the corner. Natsumi meteora's Sora in the corner. Sora takes corner attacks. The Marigold team is then stacked in the corner for running attacks. Sora running boots Natsumi. Natsumi PK's Senka for 2. Minami shotgun dropkicks Senka then hits low dropkicks on her.

Minami ddt's Senka for 2. Senka slams Minami for 2. Senka and Minami end up on the apron. Marigold's team tries to pull Senka down. Senka takes a ddt over the middle rope for 2. Senka running lariats her for 2 then pins Minami to eliminate her.

Nao and Senka shoulder battle. Nao shoulders her over. Sora hits running dropkicks on Nao for 2. Nao slams Sora for 2. Nao forearms Sora over then Senka rolls her up. Sora takes a hard spinebsuter from Nao for 2. Nao sitout spinebusters Sora and pins her to eliminate her. 

Riko top rope dropkicks Nao then axe kicks her back. Nao lariats Riko. Nao corner lariats Riko. Hum then triangles Riko over the top rope. Hum 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2. Hum then armbars her. Riko rips out the feathers from Hum's mask.

Hum hits hard chest forearms on Riko then foot chokes her. Hum hits a hard chop. Riko 2nd rope kicks Hum then asai moonsaults her for the pin. Hummingbird is eliminated.

Senka shoulders over her Natsumi a few times. Senka suplexes her for 2. Natsumi high kicks Senka then meteora's her for 2. Natsumi running knees Senka in the corner then Rea flying lariats Senka. Nao double underhook suplexes Senka the Natsumi top rope double knee drops Senka. Senka is pinned and eliminated.

Maria germans Natsumi then is high kicked. Natsumi release suplexes her. Natsumi running knees Maria then Rea slams Maria three times. Maria drops Rea face first on the mat. Maria flying kicks Rea for 2.

Natsumi and Nao take stereo attacks. Nao, Riko, Maria and Natsumi end up on the apron together. All 4 end up going off of it and get eliminated. Ai misses a dropkick on Rea and is rolled up for 2. Rea and Ai trade forearms. Rea armbars her then dropkicks her against the bottom rope.

Ai headbutts Rea in the chest then ddt's her for 2. They each try pin attempts. Ai northern lights suplexes Rea for 2. Rea gets a 2 count on her then running headhunters her. Rea front suplexes her with a bridge and pins her.

Thoughts: I liked Riko and Hummingbird getting at each other here and Riko ripping the feathers out of Hum's mask was a new one that I haven't ever seen done before. That was the highlight of this one. Natsumi wasn't pushed real strong here and Rea getting the pin at the end was a big moment for her. I always tend to like these matches and I enjoyed this one. It was fast paced, there was lots of action and the rookies did alright here. I'm not really surprised Marvelous lost here since this is a Marigold show and they are the weaker promotion of the two.

Takumi Iroha vs. Seri Yamaoka

Seri takes her down and wrestlers her on the mat. They roll around on the mat and TI's legs are tied up. TI is put in the bow and arrow. TI chest kicks her down. Seri hits chest forearms and TI fires back with forearms. TI armdrags and armlocks her. TI half crabs her while tying up the arm with her legs.

TI hits chops and spin kicks her. TI snap suplexes her. TI foot chokes her then kicks her in the back for 2. Seri catches her kick and ankle locks her. TI chest kicks her. Seri rolls her up into an ankle lock. Seri dropkicks her int the knee then rams her into the cortner. Seri hits a corner spear then TI hits knees to the body. Seri spinebusters her and hits a mounted forearm and slap combo.

TI forearms her down and stomps on her. Seri hits a water wheel drop and tries pin attempts. Seri suplexes her for 2. Seri hits a top rope splash for 2. TI hits a corkscrew kick to the shoulder.

TI hits a stunner off a suplex attempt. TI misses a top rope swanton. TI hits a stiff spinning powerbomb for 2. Seri germans her then is superkicked in the arm. TI spinning heel kicks her for 2. TI pumphandle Z360's her and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't that great. It got off to a bit of a boring start with them rolling around and not really getting anywhere. TI didn't hit all of her kicks clean here and it ended before it could turn into anything special.

Marigold Superfly Title Match - Victoria Yuzuki (c) vs. Mayu Iwatani

Yuz has her hair braided and has some weird curls on the sides of her head.

They try to dropkick each other and trade forearms fast. Yuz trips her then slingshot double stomps her back. Mayu goes out and Yuz top rope crossbodies her. Yuz low dropkicks her for 2 then switches to a crossface. Yuz misses a corner charge and takes a basement dropkick. Mayu dropkicks her against the bottom rope.

Mayu spin kicks her in the gut. Yuz hip throws her. Yuz dropkicks her against the bottom rope. Yuz northern lights suplexes her for 2. Mayu release germans her then Yuz backdrops her. Yuz superkicks her then Mayu superkicks her. Yuz low dropkicks her.

They fight on the buckles. Yuz hits a top rope dropkick on her. Yuz hits a top rope moonsault. Yuz then hits moonsaults from all 3 ropes but Mayu gets her knees up on the last one. Mayu germans her and superkicks her. Mayu dragon suplexes her for 2.

Yuz rolls her up into a crucifix for 2. Mayu superkicks her. Mayu buzzsaw kicks her. Mayu then hits moonsaults off the bottom, middle and top ropes. Mayu then wins.

Thoughts: It started off well. The moonsaults at the end kind of took away from the match. The match felt long but only got around 10 minutes, so it wasn't that long in reality. Mayu won as expected here since she's the new biggest star in the promotion. Maybe something will come out of her and Yuzuki in the future but I don't know. Mayu is above this title and I'm not sure if her doing a belt collector gimmick is the best call.

Marigold World Title Match - Utami Hayashishita (c) vs. MIRAI

Mirai wristlocks her then Utami side headlocks her. Mirai cravates her then Utami slams her. Mirai puts her in a moss-covered three handed family gradunza on the ropes. Mirai running back elbows her then neckbreakers her. Mirai double underhook locks her. Mirai twists her neck with ehr feet.

Mirai pounds on the back of her neck. Utami dropkicks her then shoudlers her. Mirai htis a suplex/drop on her then Utami does the same suplex/drop on her. They collide with lariats. Utami spinning lariats her. Mirai upkicks her then takes an air raid crash for 2. Utami hits a 2nd air raid crash then Mirai backdrops her for 2. Mirai does another moss-covered three handed family gradunza. 

Mirai rebound lariats her then spinning cradle shocks her for 2. Utami throws her on a back body drop. Utami lariats her on the ropes then suplexes her. Utami germans her for 1. Mirai hits a corner lariat to the back of the head and germans her for 2. Mirai lariats her for 2.

Mirai hits another lariat for 2. Mirai comes off the top and is dropkicked in mid-air. Utami forearms her down. Utami germans her for 2. Utami spinning torture rack bombs her for 1. Mirai then reverses the pin on her.

They collide with lariats. They do it again and Mirai goes down. Mirai then goes down again. Utami spins her, Mirai slides out and hits a hard lariat for 2.  Utami hits something like a torture rack sitout bomb for 2. Mirai is lawn darted into the buckles then she takes a spinning razor's edge. Utami then pins her.

Thoughts: It was nothing but two girls trading big bombs here. The selling wasn't the best, but they really got each other good a few times. I don't think it was quite the epic they were going for and this wasn't the right crowd for it. I did like some of it though, but I didn't love this.

They talk to each other on the mic after. Takumi Iroha then comes out to talk to Utami. Utami gets in her face as she comes out and asks if Iroha will face her. Iroha says she's been waiting but says she will contact her when it's time since Utami made her wait. Utami then talks more.

Thoughts: Wow, this was a stupid angle with Iroha in no hurry to get a title shot and Utami leaving this show without her the next challenge set. 

They have a nice video package for Nanae with AJW footage, Yumiko Hotta, Momoe Nakanishi and Manami Toyota

Retirement Match - Nanae Takahashi vs. Miku Aono

I wish Nanae would have waited another year on this retirement. She's the best worker in the company and there's lots of younger wrestlers who could use her help. I never really thought she would retire since she's still performing at a high level, hasn't visibly aged that much and since Marigold needs her. I also never thought she really ever got the credit she deserved for being such a strong worker. I still can't believe NT never really got a US run anywhere but maybe she didn't want to relocate. It's also sad as she's one of the last All Japan Women's wrestlers along with Kyoko, Jaguar, Aja, Hotta, Chigusa, Dump and Takako.

NT and Miku duck slaps. NT side headlocks her. NT hammerlocks her then wristlocks her. NT side headlocks her and Miku wristlocks her. Miku hits leg kicks. NT shoulders her over. NT dragon screws her. NT ties up the legs and falls back. NT hits a chop flurry in the corner.

Miku high kicks her then running dropkicks her. Miku hits kicks to the back then does a grounded sleeper. Miku pulls NT's arms back. NT rebound germans her. NT lariats her over the top. NT stomps on her outside.

NT tries to throw chairs in but struggles to get them over the top. They sit in chairs in the ring and slap each other.  NT boots her in the face. NT backdrops her for 2. Miku top rope dropkicks her. NT superplexes her for 2. They lariat each other at the same time. Miku hits lariats then NT lariats her back. Miku hits chest kicks. NT hits a lariat. Miku hits chest forearms then NT chest forearms her back. Miku then fires back. Miku hits a lariat for 2. NT brainbusters her for 2.

NT tries a top rope splash but Miku gets her knees up. Miku buzzsaw kicks her and hits a kick flurry to her chest. Miku irish whips her but NT goes down. Miku kicks her while she's down. NT hits headbutts. NT lariats her. They slap each other.

NT slaps her and enzugiri's her. Miku buzzsaw kicks her. Miku tiger drivers her for 2. NT escapes a styles clash then b-drivers her for 2. NT goes up top then top rope splashes her for 2. NT rolls her up for 2. NT goes up top and is kicked. Miku styles clashes her for 2. NT drops her with a slap then hits a hammerlock emerald flowsion for 2. 

Miku high kicks her and hits headbutts. Miku then styles clashes her for 2. Miku buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Miku hits her own hammerlock emerald flowsion on NT and pins her.

Thoughts: I'm glad NT did the job here and put Miku over. It was a good match with lots of stiff shots and high impact moves. It would have been better in front of a Korauken crowd though. They also could have maybe picked up the pace at times.

They lay on the mat and hug after. NT tells Miku to give us more passion. Miku says it was heavy today and says she was able to show her a part of her that she hadn't known before. Miku says she's doing her best. NT says she wants to do more.

Nanae Takahashi Retirement Gauntlet Match - Nanae Takahashi vs. Kouki Amarei, Momoe Nakanishi, Senka Akatsuki, Seri Yamaoka & Yumiko Hotta

Each match as a 1-minute time limit.

Leg 1 - Nanae Takahashi vs Senka Akatsuki

Senka runs down and hits forearms on her. NT fires back and drops her then Senka shoulders her over for 2. NT slaps her, gets slapped back and the time limit expires. They continue hitting each other after.

Leg 2 - Nanae Takahashi vs Seri Yamaoka

Seri brings out a chair and a bag. She gives her the bag and they sit down in chairs. They slap each other while they sit. Seri knocks her over and tries to shoot pin her. She smothers her and does pin her. 

Leg 3 - Nanae Takahashi vs Kouki Amarei

Kouki hits facekicks. NT goes for a backdrop but Kouki doesa press out of it for 2. Kouki tries to deadlift backdrop her but doesn't get much air out of it. Kouki hits mounted forearms. NT hits mounted forearms then Kouki hits more. The time limit then runs out.

Leg 4 - Nanae Takahashi vs Yumiko Hotta

NT hits forearms. Hotta hits leg kicks back at her. Hotta kicks her in the back. NT slaps her then Hotta piefaces her. NT lariats her for 2. NT hits mounted forearms. NT kind of hugs her on the mat, Hotta holds onto her and lets her pin her.

Leg 5 - Nanae Takahashi vs Momoe Nakanishi

Momoe running dropkicks her three times. NT shoulders her over. NT is tripped and Momoe stomps her back. They mess up a spot on the ropes. NT slaps her then Momoe does a momo*latch from behind for 2. Momoe then botches another momo*latch attempt. Momoe tries again but NT just pins her off of it. NT then hits a northern lights bomb after and pins her a second time.

Thoughts: It was a nice little gauntlet. We got one last Momoe vs Nanae battle, Nanae vs some rookies and Nanae vs Hotta. You can't ask for much more than what we got here. It's a shame Momoe had such an off night though. 

Nanae talks on the mic after. She gets a lot of gifts from various wrestlers and people in the industry as usual. Some of the younger Marigold girls slap her and oen of them dropkicks her then pins her. Some of the Ice Ribbon girls show up as well incuding Tsukasa, Hamuko and Tsukushi. Unfortunately, the version I had of this cut off before the ceremony ended, but we all know the drill.

Overall thoughts: It was a good show from Marigold. We had a debut that went well with Shinno looking like one to keep an eye on. The Megaton tag was okay. I liked the elimination match but the Kouki tag wasn't that good. Iroha/Seri wasn't as good as it will be in a few years. I liked Yuzuki/Mayu but it only got around 10 minutes which wasn't enough. I didn't love Utami/Mirai but I thought they had the idea right and I liked some of it. Nanae/Miku was a good main event and the mini-gauntlet after was a nice send-off with a surprise Momoe Nakanishi match.

The one major downfall of this show was the crowd. I don't know if it was an issue with the mics, but the heat was not there for most of the matches which brought everything down. This show would have been so much better at Korauken. I can't blame the wrestlers either as they put the work in. Marigold put on a good card here and covered up some of their weaknesses well. I'd give it a 8 out of 10 as they followed the format for a big show well but nothing out of this was absolutely great. I liked the main most here.

KM's team is dropkicked as they pose. They take corner dropkicks. Hum boots Ryoko out of the corner then handing headscissors her out of the top rope. Hum uppercuts her then running dropkicks her. Rea gets in and Ryoko hits forearms on her. Rea chest forearms her back then Ryoko cradles her for 2. Ryoko koji clutches her.

Ryoko low dropkicks Rea. Yuuki boots Rea then throws her by the arms. Rea armbars her and Yuuki ropebreaks. Rea dropkicks her arm against the ropes and Yuuki russian legsweeps her for 2. Rea hits a corner dropkick.

KM gets in and basement dropkicks Yuuki. Yuuki dropkicks KM then KM dropkicks her back. Yuuki hits a hard rolling alabama slam. NT comes in and hits dropkicks on KM. NT slams her for 2.

NT hits chest forearms on KM then takes a bulldog from Rea. KM basement dropkicks NT for 2. KM crabs NT. KM takes a double boot then a triple low dropkick. NT sunset flips KM for 2. KM tries a rope assisted flatliner but fails. KM ddt's her for 2.

NT snapmares her then rolls her up for 2. KM hammerlock ddt's NT for 2. KM twisting fisherman's neckbreakers NT and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. They had a bunch of limited green girls here and there wasn't much saving that. Hummingbird wasn't in this one at all. There were a lot of sloppy moments and weak shots.

Erina Yamanaka vs. Nao Ishikawa vs. Riara

Nao gets booted by both to start. Nao is rolled into a kick from EY. EY split drops Nao as Ri walks on Nao's gut. Nao is wrapped up in the ropes and EY puts her boot on her face. Ri then pours alcohol in Nao's mouth.

Nao hits a double lariat. Nao then takes a dropkick + flying knee. EY headbutts Ri then Ri chest forearms her. They trade shots. Ri hits chest forearms. Ri is tripped and EY headscissors her. Nao breaks it up.

Nao misses a crossbody then EY elbow drops Nao for 2. They all try pin attempts. EY hits a corner jumping knee on both. EY hits a double bronco buster on them. EY hits a top rope double crossbody for 2.

Nao flying neckbreakers EY then double underhook suplexes her for 2. Ri dropkicks Nao and forces a samoan drop. Ri low dropicks Nao then hits dropkicks to the chest for 2. EY uses  Ri to do a standing shining wizard on Nao. EY top rop flying knees Nao for 2. Ri double stomps them while they are on top of each other to break the pin attempt.

Ri running cutters Nao for 2. Ri hits EY with the bottle of champagne in front of the ref. The ref doesn't care and takes it away. Nao cartwheel headscissors Ri into a pin attempt. Ri then rolls her up for 2. Nao sitout spinebsuters Ri for the win.

Thoughts: It had the usual three way format. Erina really tried hard here and did a decent job. I didn't like Riara being able to cheat in front of the ref and being allowed to get away with it. It was okay.

Chanyota, Chika Goto & Natsumi Showzuki vs. Darkness Revolution (CHIAKI, Megaton & Nagisa Nozaki)

Goto and Chikaki go at it. Nozaki hits Goto from behind then everyone goes out to fight. Goto's head is banged off the apron then she is sent into a chair. Mega is sent into the seats and Natsumi stomps her. Nozaki chokes Chan with a chair.

Chiaki stomps Goto in the ring. She then facewashes her. Chan lariats Chiaki on the ropes. Chiaki takes corner attacks. Chan hits corner spears on Chiaki then she elbow drops her for 2.

Chiaki powerslams Chan for 2. Nozaki hits a double dropkick and facekicks Chan on the ropes. Nozaki reverse pendulum kicks Chan on the ropes for 2. Nozaki hits knees to the gut.  Chan does some botched slam on Nozaki's face then shoulders her over.

Goto gets in and slams Nozaki for 2. Nozaki then gets a 2 count on her. Nozaki chinlocks Goto. Nozaki facekicks Goto in the face for 2. Goto hits chest forearms on Nozaki then Nozaki hits a hard punch and superkicks her. Nozaki sick kicks her for 2.

Mega begs to get in but Chiaki is tagged in. Chiaki spears Goto for 2. Chiaki takes a flying knee + torture rack drop. Chiaki is pushed into the corner and Mega gets in. Mega corner splashes Goto then does normal splashes on her. Mega misses a splash. Goto hits a sliding lariat on Mega for 2.

Chiaki spinebusters Goto. Mega bottom rope splashes Goto for 2. Mega's double chop is blocked and she is put in a hold. Chiaki breaks it up quick. Chan and Natsumi hit stereo enzugiri's. Goto barely is able to slam Mega for 2. Goto then taps out Mega with a grounded abdominal stretch.

Thoughts: I liked it. They pushed that Mega's team didn't want her in because she sucked. Mega got face pops for not getting tagged in then she got some pops when she did get in. She then took the loss here. We didn't see much of Natsumi in this one.

Chika gets on the mic after. She asks Kouki on commentary if she's fed up with it and says let's wrestle. She challenges her for 5/24. Kouki agrees.

Miku Aono vs. Kizuna Tanaka

They lock up. Kiz wristlocks her then Miku reverses it. Miku side headlocks her. Kiz hits dropkicks then Miku dropkicks back. Miku corner dropkicks her twice for 2. Miku slams her then crabs her. Miku switches to half-crab and Kiz ropebreaks.

Kiz flying neckbreakers her for 2. Kiz buzzsaw kicks her and low dropkicks her for 2. Kiz hits mounted chest forearms. Kiz takes an iconoslam off the top then she is kicked in the back. Kiz blocks a PK. They trade leg kicks.

Kiz leglocks her and Miku ropebreaks. Kiz ankle locks her then kicks her. Kiz fisherman suplexes Miku for 2. Kiz hits a top rope dropkick for 2. Miku kicks her in the ribs then pumping knees her for 2. Kiz hits a running knee then Miku high kicks her. They try to high kick each other at the same time. Miku kicks her and somehow both girls go down.

They forearm each other on their knees. Miku sliding lariats her for 2. Kiz rolling armbars her from the buckles. Miku ropebreaks. Kiz twisting fisherman's neckbreakers her. Kiz hits re:dream for 2. Miku lariats her then Kiz rolling armbars her into a pin attempt. Miku running lariats her and buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Miku hits a styles clash and wins.

Thoughts: They had the right idea here with Kiz trying to go to toe to toe with Miku before being put down. I hated that double high kick spot though as it looked bad. If you can ignore that, this was good enough. This was all kicks here.

Marigold United National Title Match - Mai Sakurai (c) vs. Misa Matsui

They mat wrestle and side headlock each other. Misa side headlock takeovers her. Mai headscissors her. Misa kicks her in the gut then Mai facekicks her. Mai is pulled over the top. Misa and her buddies stop Mai outside and the ref just watches.

Misa throws chairs at Mai outside and stands on her neck. Mai is sent into the post. Mai is put in a chair then Misa and 2 others boot her over. Mai throws another chair at her.

Misa crossbodies Mai against the bottom rope. Misa bridging ddt's her. Misa STO's Mai then twists her neck with her feet. Mai ddt's her then hits a running shining wizard. Mai hits mounted forearms and slaps. Mai goes for the armbar then Misa puts her in a stretch muffler.

Misa running knees Mai in the butt over the 2nd rope. Misa then ddt's her over the 2nd rope. Misa pours water on Mai's head. Mai triangles her over the ropes. Mai hits hard boots to the face and sliding kicks her. Mai running face kicks her for 2.

They fight on the buckles and Misa is headbutted down. Mai top rope dropkicks her. Mai hits a suplex and and misses a top rope elbow drop. Mai and Misa trade shots on their knees then get up and trade.
Mai hits a forearm flurry and Misa rolls her into a double stomp. Misa does a Bison Kimura double chop on her and superkicks her. They fight on the buckles. Mai hangs from the buckles and Misa double stomps her from the top. Misa hits a top rope double stomp for 2. Misa falcon arrows her for 2. Mai drops her on a code red attempt and turns it into an STF in a cool spot. Misa ropebreaks.

Misa la magistral's her then bridges for 2. Mai dropkicks her then Misa hits a flying knee. Mai flying knees her for 1. Mai backdrops Misa for 2. Mai does an STO for 2. Mai glorious drivers her and picks her up on the pin attempt. Mai does an AT lock on her and taps her out.

Thoughts: I didn't love the AT lock finish and it went a little long, but it was a good match. It was easily one of Misa's best matches. It was fiery. They mostly stuck to strikes and it had good heat. These two matched up pretty well together here and were on the same page for this. this was a big success.

Mai talks on the mic after and asks who she should face. Shinno Omukai comes in and wants to face her. Mai asks her if she understands the gravity of this match as she is champ. Mai says Shinno will be 16 when she debuts and she agrees.

Utami Hayashishita & Victoria Yuzuki vs. MIRAI & Seri Yamaoka

Yuz = Victoria Yuzuki

Utami and Mirai go at it. They mat wrestle. Utami gets put in a headscissors off a headlock takeover and they stand off. Mirai uses the roves to escape a hammerlock then pulls on Utami's arm around the ropes. Seri comes in and works Utami's arm. Mirai then gets back in. Mirai armbreakers Utami and rolls her into a grounded kimura. It then gets broken up.

Mirai twists Utami's arm with her legs. Seri basement dropkicks Utami. Utami dropkicks her. Yuz gets in and dropkicks Seri. Seri is pushed into Mirai and Yuz botches a tornado ddt on Mirai off of Seri. Seri hits a corner spear then rams Yuz into the buckles.

Seri and Yuz trade chest forearms. Seri takes her down and hits mounted chest forearms. Seri karelin's lifts her. Seri then ties her legs up. Seri lifts up Yuz and Mirai presses Yuz down for 2. Seri air raid crashes Yuz for 2.

Mirai comes in and shoulders over Yuz. She then throws her down. Yuz flying headscissors Mirai and basement dropkicks her. Yuz hits a high angle backdrop on Mirai.

Utami tags in and dropkicks Mirai. They lariat battle. Utami hits a big forearm and a nice lariat. Seri htis shots on both opponents and takes a double dropkick. Yuz then top rope plancha's both opponents outside. 

Utami hits a top rope dropkick on Mirai for 2. Mirai rolling kimura's Utami. Mirai flying lariats Utami then spinning cradle shocks her for 2. Mirai rainmarkers Utami. Yuz hits a hard superkick on Mirai. Seri hits a nice spear on Yuz but Yuz no sells it and superkicks her. Utami does a snap back body drop on Mirai. Mirai lariats her from behind then Utami germans her.

Mirai takes an assisted air raid crash then Utami germans her for 2. Yuz backdrops Seri. Utami lariats Mirai then hits another for 2. Utami spinning torture rack drops her then hits a spinning razor's edge for the win.

Thoughts: It was a good match. It was full of stiff shots here with everyone getting a nice shot in. This beat my expectations and Mirai/Utami had a lot of good segments here.

Utami talks to Mirai after and says she doesn't want to lose to her at the 5/24 show. She says she doesn't want Mirai to forget about losing to her. She says let's make it the best match possible. Mirai agrees. She says Utami says cool things but no matter how many times she loses, she will get back up. She says there's no way she will break her. 

Nanae Takahashi vs. Mayu Iwatani

This is Mayu Iwatani's debut in Marigold after leaving Stardom. She should be a big get for them and I hope they are paying her well, because she deserves it for jumping to them.

They each offer handshakes and shake. They lock up and Mayu goes down while getting pushed into the ropes. They lock up again and NT forces her down. Mayu kips up then is taken down. Mayu armdrags her and NT shoulders her over. NT side headlocks her then does a rings of saturn. NT snapmares her and kicks her in the back. NT hits a chop flurry in the corner. NT slams her. NT ties up her legs and chinlocks her. Mayu ropebreaks. Mayu hits chest forearms then NT side slams her for 2.

NT pulls Mayu's arms back. NT then ties up Mayu's legs again and Mayu ropebreaks. NT kicks her around and stomp flurries her. Mayu goes out and comes back in. She pin kicks Nt in the gut then NT suplexes her. Mayu basement dropkicks her.

Mayu dropkicks her against the bottom rope. NT goes out. Mayu tries to rope her but NT throws a chair at her. NT then chairs her in front of the ref. They go into the stands and NT beats her up there. They trade chops. Mayu chop flurries her then falls down into the seats.  

NT then forearms her and sends her down the steps. NT kicks her around on the floor and does foot slaps. Mayu bangs NT's head off the apron. They duel chairs. They sit down on chairs in the ring and slap each other. NT knocks her off the chair then Mayu headkicks her. NT topes her and a ring attendant hard. Mayu top rope dropkicks her then hits a top rope splash for 2. NT hits a rebound german. NT blocks a hurricanrana and turns it into a high crab. NT switches to half crab.

Mayu hits chest forearms then NT fires back. NT backdrops her for 2. Mayu corner dropkicks her. Mayu is dragon screwed down from the buckles. NT sliding d's her. Mayu slaps NT while she sits up top. Mayu headbutts her then hits a top rope hurricanrana. Mayu hits a top rope double stomp. NT no sells it and ankle locks her. NT turns it into a figure four.

Mayu ropebreaks. NT hits a short arm lariat then northern lights bombs her for 2. NT hits a top rope splash on Mayu for 2.  

Mayu crucifix bombs her for 2. Mayu buzzsaw kicks her and superkicks her. Mayu hits a top rope moonsault for 2. Mayu buzzsaw kicks her then NT falcon arrows her for 2. They forearm each other at the same time. NT hits slaps and a headbutt. Mayu superkicks her. NT lariats her for 2. Mayu hurricanrana's her and wins.

Thoughts: Mayu kind of had to win on her debut and she did. They did some legwork that didn't amount to much. They did a lot of slaps and chest forearms in this. They showed a lot of spirit which was good and Mayu got the crap kicked out of her as expected. I like it and thought it was good, but the ceiling was being one of the best this year and it didn't quite hit that.

Mayu talks on the mic after and thanks everyone. She says sorry to the fans she left behind in Stardom and says let's chase our dreams and follow her. She says sorry for calling NT old She says she can feel NT's strength and says her generation will continue to be even stronger and thanks her for today.

NT says she's not old and asks if they can agree on that. She says Mayu feels like an angel to her. She says it's great she came to Marigold and says her wrestling is the best.

Victoria Yuzuki comes out. She says she's glad Mayu came to Marigold. She tells Mayu to challenge her if she's coming for the Super Flyweight Title. She says she has to be under 55kg to do it. Mayu asks where the belt is and asks why she doesn't have it. She says Yuzuki grew as a wrestler but she's in a much higher place. She asks when they will fight and accepts. 

Miku Aono comes in and calls for Nanae Takahashi. She says she wants to be her opponent and says she has her passion. NT says it's easy to say it. She says she wants to take her passion and raise herself higher. NT says let me think about it. Miku says she wants to accept her passion.

NT drags Mayu back in the ring, literally. Mayu asks to be the one to close the show and asks how to do it. Mayu then yells iku zo multiple times and they say, "Marigold, Passion". They then hug.

Overall thoughts: The opener wasn't that good. The three way was okay. The trios match with Megaton was surprisingly fun. I liked Miku/Kizuna and thought they had the right idea but maybe in a few years, it'll be even better. Mai/Misa beat all expectations and was good. I really liked the semi main was it was stiff. The main was good as expected but not quite great. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 as only the opener was bad and we got some good performances.
