We have a Mustache Mountain vs Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith vs Die Familie tag title match tonight.

Sam Gradwell vs Von Wagner

Sam swings wildly early and goes down with one punch. Von headbutts him and elbow drops him. He then hits a fallaway slam. Von hits a back elbow then bearhugs him. Von goes back to the bearhug then Sam gets out and hits some chops and bad punches. Sam spinning forearms him and running forearms him. Sam hits a 2nd rope forearm then slams him.

Von blocks his flatliner attack then lifts him for his own flatliner. Sam slaps him and falls down then takes a short arm lariat. Von gorilla presses him and tries to throw him but Sam gets out and jumps on his back for a sleeper. Von then hits an F-U and wins it.

Sam did not look good here. I don't know what happened. Von can hit his moves, but he really only has very basic moves and nothing else. I think it's really hard to justify his push and he is not showing signs of being the star WWE wants him to be.

Xia Brookside arrives with Eliza. They are accused of using questionable tactics. Amale then walks in. She said she is done with them and says neither can beat her on their own. Amale then directly challenged Eliza, and Xia tells her she will be fine.

We get an Ivy Nile video with her highlights. She said Meiko is a living legend but she has 26 years of film to study and Meiko has none of her film. She says she will take the title home to Diamond Mine. That match is next week.

Mark Andrews is interviewed leaving. He said his shoulder is almost ready for Kenny Williams. He then sees Kenny messing with his car and they fight in the parking lot before it is broken up. Tiger Turan is seen watching in the back.

Angel Hayze vs Stevie Turner

Stevie does an inset promo. She says she feels electric and says the future is here.

Angel armdrags her then takes a facekick. Stevie stomps on her then Angel spin kicks her in the gut and dropkicks her on the side of the head. Stevie hits a running knee then face wash kicks her as her head lays on the 2nd rope. Stevie neckbreakers her and Angel fights back with forearms. Angel sling blades her for 2 then takes a pump kick. Angel then hits a side effect and wins it.

This was okay. They kept it simple and Angel got a lot of offense in. I wouldn't say it was good or anything but they didn't mess up anything and kept it short.

Emilia McKenzie apologized to Meiko for losing to Lash Legend. Meiko says to be more strong and work harder. 

 

We get an East End Bookie segment. They said Damon Kemp and Wolfgang aren't friends like they are. They said they can't open the market to them because the outcome in their match is obvious and it would be unfair.

NXT UK Tag Titles - Mustache Mountain vs Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith vs Die Familie

All 3 teams try pin attempts early then stand off with each other. Teoman takes a double hiptoss then Carter corkscrew moonsaults with Bate's help. Trent then does a corkscrew flip with Bate's help on Carter. Trent slams both guys then leg drops Teoman. Carter hits a stiff lariat on Raja. Raja is then dropped on Carter's foot.

Trent ddt's Carter then Smith powerslams Trent. Both Bate and Smith get stuck in the ring skirt and beat on by Die Familie. Trent is then pushed into the rails. Smith takes a double team that ends in a high fly then Teo spinning forearms Trent. Trent fights off DF.

Trent enzugiri's Teo then tags Bate in. Bate tags in and cleans house. Bate 2nd rope euro uppercuts Teo then exploders Smith. Bate then running ssp's Smith. Bate flying koppo kicks Teoman then Carter springboard double dropkicks Bate and Teo.

Carter jumping hurricanrana's Bate as he is seated on the top rope. Carter then rock bottoms Teo. Carter flips off of Smith with a moonsault on Teo. Trent chops Teo in the face then dragon suplexes him. Smith then hits a big lariat on Trent. Bate hits a big rebound lariat on Smith then pops up Teo and airplane spins him. Teo gets out and crossfaces him. Carter then springboard moonsaults onto both. Carter then tope con hilos outside. Trent then hits a top rope emerald flowsion on Smith.

Carter takes a flipping koppo kick from Carter then Carter takes a burning hammer top rope knee combo. Raja gets the tag title belt. Smith avoids a shot with it and lariats him over the top. Trent then lariats Smith. Trent gets the belt and he and Bate tug of war over it. Carter then tope's Bate and Smith rolls up Trent to win it.

The ending fit well with the story of Seven trying to cheat to win and Bate trying to stop it. It has been building for a while and that was well done here. The match was as you expect - non-stop fast paced action between three teams. It was hard for it to be anything else with so many people being involved and only about 20 minutes.We had some big spots here like the top rope emerald flowsion and everyone did bust out the big stuff for this. I don't quite know if Die Familie was needed for this though since they weren't really part of the story.

Bate and Seven kind of look at each other after. they argue some and Trent is mad, saying "you do whatever it takes". Trent then says they are done and walks out.

Overall thoughts: Only the main was really worth seeing here and it's more for people who like matches with a lot of moves and not so much story. The women's match was basic but okay.
