Wrestlelicious Takedown Season 1, Episode 1

Jimmy Hart and some of the girls are cleaning dishes. Jimmy gets told to clean the pool out. He says he doesn't need this and leaves it to the girls.

We then get the Wrestlelicious music video with all the girls rapping.

The Wrestlelicious girls do a dance in referee outfits.

Johnny C walks in the girls locker room and they all leave. Kandi Kisses then runs into him. She lets him listen to her newest single. He says he thinks she will sell millions...millions of earplugs. Kandi then punches him for it.

We have a 6 girl main event tonight.

Kandi Kisses is with The Gumdrops, her backup dancers. She sings a ripoff of 3-Count's song "Can't Get You Out Of My Heart" called, "You Dropkicked Me Right From The Start". She performs and we are told Kandi and the dancers seem off. She is accused of lip-syncing and runs into her dancers. Her dancers then try to get her out of there and the fans boo her. 

Autumn Frost is in this week's Takedown Spotlight. We see her posing on the beach.

Toni the Top vs Maui

Maui gets the ref to do the hula with her. Toni chokes her and kicks her in the gut. Toni then hits a driver called "sleeps with the fishes" and wins it in a very quick squash.

The announcer says she crushed her like a pineapple.

Cousin Cassie is at the doctor's. She thinks she needs glasses. The doctor says he doesn't believe in glasses as he drinks straight out of the bottle.

Bandita is working at the restaurant and is asked if they have a roach problem. She says the rats ate them all.

Maria Toro, Bandita and Felony vs Tyler Texas, Cousin Cassie and Charlotte

Officer Bubba uncuffs Felony. The gimmicks speak for themselves. Charlotte is a southern belle, Tyler's a Texan and Cassie is a farmer girl. The southern team hugs.

Bandita knees Cassie in the gut then Cassie snapmares her a few times. Bandita headlocks her and double axe handles her back. Cassie bangs her head off the buckle then hits Bandita with a clothesline. Cassie stomps n her and hits bad corner spears. Bandita hiptosses her and legdrops her. They then clothesline each other at the same time.

Tyler and Felony go at it. Felony pounds on her then takes some shots back. Felony then takes armdrags and a dropkick for 2. Toro pulls Tyler down by her hair from the apron then Tyler takes a 3v1 in the corner. Felony tries to escape but Bubba stops her. Tyler gets stomped on then Felony knocks her down with punches.

Toro pounds on Tyler then lariats her. Tyler is tripped into a Felony elbow for 2. Tyler takes a stranglehold and Toro pounds on her. Toro hits Charlotte with a cheap shot. She gets distracted and tries to help out but the ref stops them and the heels pound on Tyler. Tyler facebusters Toro then Charlotte gets the hot tag in. She hits clotheslines and Bandita grabs the ref. Toro fisherman's busters Charlotte and Felony grabs the pin.

This was a basic match but it made sense, there were actually rules and they actually acted like faces and heels. Maybe it wasn't a 5-star classic, but they did the right things here.

Felony then gets escorted out by Officer Bubba after and that's it for the show.

Overall thoughts: This is basically GLOW redone. They had similar everything down to the gimmicks and the skits. I liked GLOW, so I'm okay with that, but there wasn't a lot of originality here. There were only 2 matches, with one being a squash and the wrestling was not good. The announcer made endless puns here as expected and seemed like he was doing the show with one hand in his pants.
