Note - This aired on a Wednesday due to the 2024 Presidential Election. It also aired against AEW Dynamite.

We are here at the ECW Arena/2300 Arena in Philly.

We get the ECW theme song mixed with some clips of NXT and ECW wrestlers. The video is put in filters to make it look like it came from the 90's in a cool moment. They have a logo that says, "NXT 2300".

We see clips of some gritty areas of Philly then see Trick and Bubba Ray Dudley eating a cheese steak. We see Evans checking out the Liberty Bell. We see Perez, Fatal Influence and Cora near the river. And we see their opponents on the Rocky steps.

Hardcore Match - Special ref: Dawn Marie - Lola Vice vs Jaida Parker

Dawn Marie of ECW fame is the special ref. JP goes after Lola and bangs her head off the buckles. Jaida swings a chair at her but takes a uraken and the chair into the face. Jaida chairs her. A chair is stood up on the apron and Lola bangs Jaida's head into it. Lola suplexes Jaida on the floor. Lola uses a chair on her and sends Jaida into a chair that is put between the buckles.

Lola suplexes Jaida onto chairs and hits three amigos on them. Lola ddt's her on a chair for 2. They double clothesline each other on the floor outside. We go to break and return.

They each put ladders in the corners. Jaida spinebusters her. Lola is put on a ladder that is laying on the 2nd rope. Jaida climbs another ladder and and hits her butt drop on her, breaking the ladder in half. Lola gets on Jaida's back and sleepers her. They roll outside but it stays on. Lola is backed up into the steps.

Jaida running hip attacks her then runs into the steps when Lola moves. Jaida has a trash can put on her head. Lola hits spin kicks on it then hits kendo stick shots. Lola hip attacks Jaida with a trash can on Jaida's head.

Jaida throws a trash can at Lola and hits kendo stick shots. Lola hits kendo stick shots. Jaida hits her in the back with a trash can lid. Lola is then side slammed onto an open chair. Jaida running back elbows her into the ladder. Lola sleepers her. Jaida hits her with a brick in the face to break it up. Jaida then gets a 2 count. Jaida running hip attacks her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a hardcore match. They roughed each other up but it was mostly based around weapons shots. Dawn Marie had no involvement in this outside of basic ref duties. It was alright but hitting each other with weapons isn't exactly the highest form of wrestling.

Ethan Page and Ridge Holland are at the Rocky statue. They say they are here to bring the fight and ruin tonight's night of nostalgia. Ridge says he needs to be NXT champ. Ridge says they will drag Trick to the lowest point of his career tonight. Page says there will be no statues or fairy tale endings and no tables.

We see Kelani Jordan with Rob Van Dam. Kelani is doing an RVD split on boxes. Kelani says she gets her NA title back next week but says tonight is important too. RVD tells her to stand out by winning tonight. RVD then gets attacked by Wes with a chair and Wes says he made the decision for RVD.

The D'Angelo Family run into Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen. Nunzio and Tony Mamaluke walk in. Nunuzio says they are here to talk to Tony. Nunzuio says Tony didn't call him back. Mamaluke says he called Ava and set up Rizzo vs Nikkita Lyons next weke. Tony asks if they got power now. Nunzio said they alway shad power in South Philly. Nunzio says Tony's gonna pay a tax tonight and says he will defend his North American title vs Nunuzio tonight. Tony asks if Nunzio wants to do it and he says positive.

Thoughts: Nunzio was really good here. It's a shame they are doing this without more build.

Je'Von Evans vs Wes Lee

Wes swings at Evans and takes a side headlock. Wes headscissors him but Evans flips out of it. Evans headflips out of an armdrag. Evans rolls up Wes then does a seated springboard into a headscissors. Evans dropkicks him. Wes 619's around the post and kicks Evans.

Evans is sent into the post then Wes brainbusters him on the steps. We go to break and return. They are fighting people on the buckles. Evans hits a top rope hurricanrana on Wes. They trade shots. Evans corkscrew kicks him off the ropes. Wes hits kicks and superkicks him. Wes hits a poisonrana. Wes then handsrpings into a backflip kick for 2.

Wes and the ref fight over a chair then Evans rolls Wes up. Wes hits a double jump os cutter and Wes retreats out. Evans tries to tope him but ends up going over the commentary table and into a desk chair. Wes grabs a chair then Rob Van Dam's music hits. Wes misses a chair shot on RVD then Evans suicide dives Wes. Evans springboard lariats Wes. Evans hits a long frogsplash in the spirit of RVD and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't think it was as good as it could have been. Evans took some nasty bumps here. The finishing stretch didn't go that well and selling was not a top priority here.

Stevie Turner, Ava and Mr. Stone talk in the back. Eddy Thorpe goes up to Ava. Ava says not right now. Eddy says that's twice now that Ava didn't have time for him.

Ava, Robert Stone and Stevie Turner are in the ring. She puts over the fans. She says NXT Deadline will be in Minneapolis on 12/7 and says The Iron Survivor Challenge will return. Stone interrupts and says it's not a good idea to lie to these people. Stone says NY fans are better than Philly fans. Ava asks why he would say this and then Stone says Boston fans are more hardcore than Philly fans. He says their time has past like The Eagles and The Phillies.

The lights go out. Rhyno appears in the ring. He then spears Stone.

Giulia's team is in the back for tonight. Giulia says they will win tonight .Grace says it's time to get extreme. Vaquer talks in Spanish. Kelani says Vaq said they are excited for tonight and can show their impact in the women's division. Grace says they create their own history tonight. Lash and Jakara walk in and ask if they saw them do their thing this weekend. Jakara says while they are the dream team, she has her money on the champs of this division. Vaquer says let's show them and Giulia says, "yes".

Bubba Ray Dudley and Trick Williams vs Ethan Page and Ridge Holland

I thought this would be the main but nope. Trick and Ridge start off. Ridge hits Bubba on the apron. Bubba stares at him and is tagged in. Ridge shoulders Bubba over. Ridge slams him. Bubba shoulders and elbows Ridge over. Trick 2nd rope double axe handles Ridge's arm. Ridge forearms him and Trick hits chops.

Ridge pump kicks Trick then Page pounds on Trick. Trick gets out of a double suplex. Bubba gets in and punches both opponents. Bubba hits punches on Page and bionic elbows him. Trick jumps off of Bubba's back and hits a double lariat. The heels go out.

We go to break and return. Bubba is pulled crotch first into the post. Page hits punches on Bubba then Bubba spears Page. Trick is tagged in and hits jumping leg lariats. Trick flapjacks Ridge then hits a uranage for 2. Bubba hits punches on the heels. Trick jumping neckbreakers Page. Trick spinning facekicks Ridge.

Ridge rolls up Trick and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like the ending here. It was pretty sudden and having Trick and Bubba lose here was a brave move. The match was alright otherwise. We know why this was in the spot it was in now and it's because the heels were going to win.

Trick is beat up by the heels after. Bubba helps out. Bubba slams Page and tells Trick to go up top to do the "wazzzup" spot. Bubba then tells Trick to get the tables. D'Von Dudley then comes out with a table. Page takes a double chokeslam through the table from Bubba and Trick. D'Von then gives Trick a pair of glasses like his.

Dion Lennox and Ashante Adonis talk in the back. They talk about girls. Karmen Petrovic walks in and asks Adonis what happened 2 weeks ago. She says he cost her a match and asks who the girl was. Adonis says it was his girl. Karmen tells him and his flavor of the week to stay out of her business. Adonis says she's not his type and says happy belated birthday. Karmen then seems happy he knew it was her birthday.

Roxanne Perez's team talks about tonight. Cora says their team is extreme. Nyx says their opponents want to be where they are. Jacy says they have trust in each other. Perez says the best women's division is where it deserves to be - in the main event. And says they will have their hands raised with their titles in the air.

WWE NXT North American Title - Tony D'Angelo (c) vs Nunzio

They go face to face. Tony shoves him. Tony Mamaluke distracts Tony D. Nun slides out and Mamaluke is put in the way of Tony. Tony D then lariats Mamaluke. Tony D then throws Nun into Mamaluke.

Tony D belly to belly suplexes Nun. Luca Crusifino and Mamaluk argue outside. Nun dropkicks Tony D off the buckles. Nun 2nd rope legdrops Tony D on the neck for 2. Tony get a crowbar and gives it to Nun. The ref catches him with it. Nun gives it to the ref. Tony D hits a spinebuster on Nun and Nun is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a quick one here, maybe too quick. They did what they could with it and it was a little dash of nostalgia.

Tony asks to shake hands with Nun after and they shake and hug.

Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen talk in the back. Shawn asks if he's hungry and says something about next week in Orlando.

We see clips of Regal and Lexis King talking last week. King says he couldn't use the brass knucks. Regal says he couldn't take the easy way out and proved he's not his father's son. Regal wishes him luck. The NQCC then walk up to Regal. Regal says he guesses he didn't have it. Regal says he's not his father's son and asks if Dempsey is his father's son. Dempsey says only time will tell. Regal says he told him he'd be watching them months ago. He says the NXT tag division was months ago and says Tavion and Borne should think about it. Regal says it's not just Dempsey's group but all their group. 

Nikkita Lyons does a video she said she took out Rizzo. She says Oba needed a favor and she did it for him. She says she's been on the other end of attacks and is flipping the script. She says she's the attacker now and is taking success for herself. She says Rizzo is the start and says she will drop the rest of the women's division one by one.

Stevie Turner carries Robert Stone away as they walk with Ava. Fraxiom talk with Ava. Ava says she will meet with all the tag teams to address the division next week. Ax asks if they need to be there. Frazer says it sounds like an off week to him and says he'll get back to him.

We see ECW's Francine in the crowd.

Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Jasmyn Nyx), Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade vs Zaria, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace and Kelani Jordan

KJ dropkicks Fallon and bangs her head off the mat. Fallon hits a shot on her. KJ sunset flips her then tiger feint armdrags her. KJ dropkicks her. KJ handspring back elbows her then low crossbodies her. Steph springboard crossbodies Fallon.

Fallon forearms Steph then Nyx PK's Steph. Nyx legsweeps Steph then Steph knees her in the gut. Steph bangs Nyx's head off the mat off the headscissors. Nyx is tripped into the 2nd rope and takes a 619. Giulia and Steph hit a double elbow drop on Nyx.

Giu and Perez shove each other. Giu hammerlocks her then does a lifting hammerlock suplex on her for 2. Perez avoids a glorious driver and pulls Giu down backwards. Cora knees Giu in the chest. Cora shotgun dropkicks Giu.

Giu backrolls Cora. Zaria tags in and backdrops Cora. Zaria headbutts her and blocks Jacy's flying headscissors. The 10 girls all then get in and start fighting. Perez is thrown out onto her partners. KJ then top rope moonsaults onto everyone.  

Jacy and KJ waistlock each other. Jacy knocks her out of the ring. Nyx does a tope onto Giu and Steph. Jacy sentons KJ then misses a cannonbsall on her. KJ jumping side kicks her. Zaria goes to make a tag and is pulled down by Fallon. KJ flips out of a double backdrop. Grace is tagged in. Grace germans Cora then hits a double suplex on Fallon and Nyx. Cora is slammed by Grace and takes a vader bomb for 2. Cora takes a double powerbomb from Zaria and Grace.

Perez dropkicks Zaria out. Giulia hits a glorious driver on Perez. Jacy neckbreakers Giulia. Steph hits a double underhook neckbreaker on Jacy. Fallon hits a swinging facebuster on Steph. KJ olympic slams Fallon. Nyx pele kicks KJ. JG side rolling death valley drivers Nyx. Perez and Grace then go down at the same time.

Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson come out. Giulia and Steph attack them. Cora does a flip dive off the buckles outside. Perez is grabbed by Zaria and Zaria spears Grace on accident when Perez moves. Perez spin kicks Zaria then Zaria F-5's her for the win.

Thoughts: It could have used more time. They got everyone in for a little and they had an action packed tag here with a fast pace. I liked it but it wasn't super memorable. They also maybe teased Grace vs Zaria and set up Lash/Jakara vs Giulia/Steph.

Overall thoughts: It was a fun show. Nothing was bad here but it wasn't a classic. I would have liked for Dawn Marie and Francine to play a bigger role on this show and I would have had Bubba Ray's match in the main. The women did okay in the main but there were a lot of people and not a ton of time. NXT really does need to do something about the roster bloat though as there's more people than spots available. I'd give this one a 7 out of 10.
