WWE Monday Night Raw 11/18/2024

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez come out to talk. Liv says welcome to Monday Night Morgan. She says she knows Jade and Bianca are here to pick a fight so they didn't come alone. Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae come out.

Nia says she doesn't like or dislike Raquel, she just doesn't think of her at all. She says the same thing for Liv. She says she can't stop thinking about Jade, Bianca and Naomi. Jade Bianca and Naomi then come out. Bianca says they didn't come out alone either and Iyo Sky comes out.

Liv says they aren't too smart as they are still outnumbered. Liv asks who wants to be brave and throw the first punch. Rhea Ripley then comes out with a protective mask on. Rhea says Wargames and nails Liv. Liv hits a top rope moonsault outside and the segment ends.

Thoughts: The men and women just have to have Wargames matches so nobody complains so we got a thrown together women's Wargames match set-up here.

I will not be covering the mixed tag match. The women attacked the men as usual and neither the men or the ref did anything about it.

The Creed's tried to console Chad after the loss. Chad slapped Julius then Julius and Brutus fought with each other. Chad says that's what he was looking for.

The Judgment Day talks in the back. Finn tells Liv it'll be okay and says he can take the wheel tonight if it helps. Finn says Dom beat Damian Priest single-handedly weeks ago. He says Dom and Carlito will show The War Raiders what Judgment Day is all about. Finn says to go after their neck or p!ss them off and get destroyed. He says Dom will figure it out. JD then says he needs to talk to Finn. 

Miz does a video and says it's been an emotional couple of weeks. Miz says what they did last week was a master class in acting. We then see Karrion Kross. He said he showed the world the truth that The Wyatt's are a group of lost people. He says The Wyatt's are not invincible. Miz says this is the jump start "The Marine 7" needed. Kross says he's not afraid of The Wyatt's. He says he deals the cards and they will play the game he controls.

Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser talk in the back. Gunther says Kaiser doesn't speak for him and needs to make a name for himself. He says he needs to speak for himself. He tells him to stand his own ground from now on. Gunther talks in German. He says Priest didn't get under his skin and tells Kaiser to go out there for himself. Gunther sees Priest and puts a sleeper on him. Priest drives him into boxes then kicks him while he tries to hit him with a pipe. Priest says Gunther is a general in the ring, but says he's a king in the streets. Adam Pearce walks in and asks him what happened and Priest says Gunther will need ice. 

WWE Intercontinental Title - Bron Breakker (c) vs Sheamus

They stare down and lock up. Bron is pushed out and gets his head banged off the commentary table. They get back in and Bron running lariats him. Bron hits corner spears. Sheamus hits a uranage backbreaker. Bron overhead throws him. Bron hits shots, knocking him off the apron. Bron dives from the apron, lariating him off the commentary table.

We go to break and return. Sheamus hits forearms outside then Bron does a stupid top rope swanton on him, basically powerbombing himself on the floor. They shove each other in the ring. Sheamuts hits some punches then powerslams him.

Sheamus corner lariats him then pumping knees him. Sheamus clubs on Bron's chest. Sheamus lariats him then hits a top rope knee drop on him for 2. Bron hits a backdrop backbreaker for 2. Sheamus hits a 2nd rope air raid crash for 2.

Bron runs up the buckles and hurricanrana's Sheamus down. Bron run at him and Sheamus gets his knee up for 2. Bron hits a big spear on Sheamus and Sheamus rolls out. Bron runs around the ring at Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser comes out and lariats Bron. Sheamus is DQ'd. Bron is sent into the post then DDT'd on the floor. Kaiser then runs around the ring and dropkicks Sheamus into the steps.

Thoughts: I was curious as to what result they were going with here and this was one way to save either guy from losing. I wasn't as big of a fan of this match as I had hoped. It got off to a slow start and did pick up some but just wasn't good enough. Bron's top rope swanton to the outside was super dangerous and he's just begging for an injury with stuff like that and his dives over the commentary table.

Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn go up to Seth Rollins. Jey says they all got differences with Roman. He says they want to put all the differences aside just one time to make this work. Sami said Seth did this last year for Wargames when he teamed with Cody. Seth says he would stand side by side with them but not with Roman. Seth says it's not worth it. He says he will solve all of the problems tonight and drop Bronson Reed tonight. He says whatever happens with them will be on them. He wishes them good luck but says he's out.

Dakota Kai does a video. She says she's been on the sidelines for the last 4 months and says she was just trying to keep it together as her dream slid through her fingers. She worried that there was not a place for her anymore and said you have to ask yourself if you are good enough. She says she's ready to show everyone why she is a champ.

The War Raiders vs The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio and
Carlito)

Erik takes down Dom and slams him down chest and and front first. Ivar and Carlito go at it. Ivar shoulders him over then slams him. Erik slams Ivar onto Carlito. Dom hits a boot flurry on Ivar.  

Ivar fights out of the corner. Erik forearms Carlito over then headbutts him. Erik exploders Carlito. Carlito knees Erik out of the ring. Dom topes Erik. We go to break and return.

Dom slingshot swantons Erik for 2. Ivar back body drops Dom then side slams him. Ivar splashes Dom then butt drops him out of the corner. Ivar lariats Carlito then bronco busters him in the corner. IVar suplexes Dom into Carlito. Dom is popped up into an Ivar slam. Carlito takes a springboard lariat + german and is pinned.

Thoughts: It didn't really get enough time here and there wasn't a big finishing stretch. The Raiders winning wasn't too surprising either. This wasn't anything special.

The Judgment Day jump The Raiders after. Finn top rope double stomps Erik and JD pounds on Ivar. The feed cuts out and we see a video from The Wyatt's. Bo says he tried to warn us. He says the trust of the innocent is the most useful tool. He says they offered Miz salvation and says Miz d@mned himself. He says he's sorry for what happens next. He says Miz choose this and his hands will be forever be bloodstained because of his actions. He says he never wanted this.

We get a Lyra Vakyria video. She says she was thrown straight into the fire when she came to Raw and hit the ground running. She says she used to think she was a phoenix but she's so much more. She says she doesn't burn, she rises and she's coming for everyone.

Alpha Academy run into Kofi in the back. They say they are excited about his 10 year anniversary. Xavier Woods walks in. He says they gotta talk and says they've just been yelling at each other for the last few weeks. He brings up Kross saying The New Day is dead. Kofi disagrees. Otis tries to get involved and Woods says to mind your own business. He says he's part of the greatest tag team ever and asks why he thinks Chad left Alpha Academy. Woods then sets up a New Day vs Alpha Academy match next week.

Seth Rollins vs Bronson Reed

The Bloodline immediately come out. The Uso's and Sami Zayn then come out and fight with them. Fatu takes superkicks from The Uso's and goes into the crowd.

Seth pounds on Reed then is forearmed over. Seth hits a big boot and sends Reed out. Seth then topes Reed into the commentary table. We go to break and return. Seth hits chops and Reed bodyblocks him.  

Reed butt drops him. Reed bangs Seth's head off the apron. Seth is sent into the rails and flips over it. Reed pounds on Seth and headbutts him. Seth jawbreakers him and hits punches. Reed knees him in the gut then lariats him over the top.

Reed diving shoulderblocks him off the apron. Seth is sent into the steps. Reed charges at Seth and goes into the steps. Seth bangs Reed's head off the steps many times. Seth hits a springboard flying knee. Reed sitout powerbombs him for 2.

We go to break and return. Seth powerbombs Reed. Seth asai moonsaults him for 2. Seth springboard swantons for 1. Reed misses a butt drop and takes a superkick to the head. Seth hits a top rope frogsplash for 2.

Reed lariats Seth then brainbusters him for 2. Seth hits a superkick then hits a pedigree for 2. Seth curb stomps Reed. Seth goes up top. Solo Sikoa gets on the commentary table and distracts him. Reed hits a death valley driver and sentons. Reed then hits a top rope splash on Seth and wins.

Thoughts: I was surprised by the ending. I thought Bloodline had been done with her yet Solo came out. Reed getting a win over Seth is big for him and gives him a bit more credibility. The match was decent with them working the big vs small guy angle and Seth struggling to put him down.

Reed then poses with Solo after as the show ends.

Overall thoughts: As I've been saying since Raw moved to two hours, it's just not enough time and it affects the show quality. The roster is too big for 2 hours and we don't get the great matches we used to because there's just not enough time. Sheamus/Bron was fine but had a dirty finish and wasn't as good as it should have been. The main was also fine and had a somewhat dirty finish. I didn't bother with the intergender match and the rest of this one was nothing must see. I thought the show was just average as a whole but would give it a 6 out of 10 due to the Sheamus and Seth matches.
