All Japan Pro Wrestling 11/17/2024 Real World Tag League 2024 Day 4

Dan Tamura, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Shotaro Ashino vs. Hokuto-gun (Aizawa NO. 1, Hokuto Omori & Kuma Arashi)

Dan's team attacks before the bell though Jiro just stays in the ring and watches. Aizawa is thrown into the rails. Sho rakes Kuma's face and stomps him in the seats. Jiro is sent into the seats by Omori.

Omori chinlocks Jiro in the ring. Omori ducks a jacket shot and cutters Jiro. Aizawa chokes Jiro with his knee in the corner. Aizawa slams Jiro then elbow drops him for 2. Aizawa chokes Jiro more in the corner.

Kuma racks Jiro. Jiro bites his fingers while in it and Kuma lariats him. Kuma misses a senton. Dan comes in and hits forearms and a flying shoulderblock on Kuma. Kuma dropkicks Dan. Aizawa gets in. He snapmares Dan then top rope dropkicks him for 2. Dan backdrops Aizawa.

Sho is tagged in. Sho karelin's lifts Aizawa. The heels triple team Sho and hit corner attacks. Kuma slams Sho then slams Omori and Aizawa onto him. Jiro comes in to help out. He springboard headscissors Kuma out from behind. Dan samoan drops Jiro for some reson.

Dan and Sho take turns hitting shots on Aizawa then Sho running euros him for 2. Sho release germans Aizawa and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like this. They didn't put full effort into this one. It was hard to tell who were the faces and the heels. The finish was also very weak with Aizawa losing to a release german.

Mike D Vecchio vs. Seigo Tachibana

ST waistlocks him and is thrown off. Mike waistlock takedowns him. They each miss moves and Mike flying headscissors him out. Mike slingshot plancha's ST outside. Mike beats up some on ST outside.

ST forearms Mike off the apron then tope con hilos him outside. Mike boots ST out of the corner then ST sto's him for 2. ST running forearms Mike and olympic slams him for 2. Mike springboard elbows ST.

Mike and ST trade forearms. Mike enzugiri's him. Mik double jump springboard cutters ST for 2. ST tries a jack knife pin for 2 and rolls him up. ST crucifixes him then hits a forearm. ST goes up top. Mike jumps up to the top rope and superplexes ST. Mike tries to do something off the top but slips, drops down and just does an elbow instead. Mike almost slips again and hits an SSP to win.

Thoughts: The finish was botched here as Mike slipped twice on his top rope SSP, ruining whatever good will this garnered. Mike didn't have the greatest night here but you can tell he's trying hard and putting in effort to make a name for himself. This was a weird one as both guys are kind of faces. Seigo got more in than he should have here. This should have been a squash but I think they didn't want Mike to get booed or looked at like a heel for doing it. Mike then limps his way to the back.

Mike does a promo after. He says this is just the beginning and he's the face of All Japan now. 

Real World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - Evolution (Hideki Suzuki & Suwama) vs. Baka No Jidai (Fuminori Abe & Yuma Aoyagi)

I have concerns about this one. I think it could be bad if everyone has a lazy night. Abe wristlocks him early then Suzuki armdrags him. Abe wristlocks him then Suzuki takes him down by the arm. Suzuki armbars him. Suwama and Yuma get in.

Suwama side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Yuma dropkicks him. The four fight outside. Suwama hits Yuma with a rail then Abe is pulled hard into the rails. Suzuki tombstones Abe on the floor. Suwama throws Abe out then Suzuki throws Abe into the rails.

Yuma hits forearms on Suwama and Suwama double chops him. Suwama hits a lariat then backdrops him. Suzuki boots Yuma around. Yuma dropkicks him. Abe dropkicks Suzuki in the knee then spin kicks him i nthe gut. Abe kicks Suzuki in the back. Suzuki backbreakers him.

Suwama takes a back body drop from Abe then Yuma helps out. Abe trips Suwama and Yuma elbow drops him. Suwama hits double chops on Abe and Yuma then lariats both over. Suzuki headscissors Yuma over the top rope and pushes him into a big Suwama lariat. Yuma uranages Suwama then top rope elbow drops him for 2. Suwama suplexes Yuma.

Suwama corner lariats Yuma then release germans him. Suwama spinning lariats Yuma for 2. Suwama takes a baseball punch into a backslide and is pinned.

Thoughts: It wasn't much better than I hoped. They wasted time doing poor brawling outside and the match didn't really get enough time. They had some real lazy moments here. It's a shame as if these four guys really tried, they probably could have a great one.

Abe takes a double underhook suplex from Suzuki and Suwama after.

Davey Boy Smith Jr., Kento Miyahara & Ryo Inoue vs. ELPIDA (Rising HAYATO & Yuma Anzai) & Taishin Nagao

Yuma and Ken go at it. They lock up. Yuma forearms him and side headlocks him. Ken side headlock takeovers him and Yuma headscissors him. Rising and Ryo go at it. Rising wristlocks him. Ryo rolls through and reverses it on him.

Rising chops Ryo off a wristlock then side headlocks him. Ryo running facekicks him. Rising dropkicks Ryo off the apron and teases diving out. Davey and Nagao get in. Davey has like a foot on him and forearms him down. Davey clubs on him as the other guys fight outside. Davey stomps on Nagao then poses on him.

Davey slams Nagao multiple times. Ken slams Nagao for 2. Ryo comes in. Nagao hits chest forearms. Nagao then gets snapmared and kicked in the back. Ryo crabs Nagao. Davey cobra twists Nagao and lets him go. Davey misses a knee in the corner then bangs Nagao's head off the buckles.

Nagao 2nd rope dropkicks Davey then tags Yuma in. Yuma hits a corner forearm on Davey then belly to belly suplexes him. Davey hits forearms then Yuma dropkicks him. Davey ddt's Yuma and tags Ken in.

Ken facekicks Yuma then dropkicks him in the knee and the side of the head. Ken headbutts Yuma then takes a flying knee. Rising asai moonsaults Ken for 2. 

Rising corner dropkicks Ken then Ken pump kicks him. Ryo hits a chest kick flurry on Rising then corner dropkicks him. Ryo hits chest kicks on Rising then Rising dropkicks him on the ropes. Nagao is tagged in. He hits chest forearms on Ryo then slams him.

Nagao gets double teamed then hits dropkicks on Ken, Davey and Ryo. Rising jumps off Yuma's back and dropkicks Ryo. Ryo then takes a double bulldog. Nagao top rope dropkicks Ryo for 2. Nagao cradles Ryo and rolls him up for 2. Nagao sunset flips Ryo then takes a back body drop. Ryo crabs him and Nagao ropebreaks. Ryo does a wristlock backdrop on him and wins.

Thoughts: It was a fun tag. Nagao got a bunch of time in on this one. He sold and got beaten up on then got some offense in before being put down. They put some effort in here on this one and made something out of what could have been nothing. Nagao hit all of his stuff clean and is doing fine so far as a rookie.

They do promos after. Abe and Yuma interrupt Ken and Davey. Davey asks what that was. He says Ryo got victory and knows what it's like to be part of team victory. Davey says whoever steps in the ring with them will go down. Davey says they will win the RWTL and say they love All Japan.

Real World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - ELPIDA (Ren Ayabe & Ryuki Honda) vs. Hokuto-gun (Cyrus & Hartley Jackson)

Ren and Hart go at it. Hart messes with him on the break. Ren then does the same. Ren side headlocks Hart and they shoulder battle. Hart shoulders him over then Ren shoulders him over. Hart takes a double shoulderblock. Honda gets in and Hart euros him. Honda's head is banged off of Cy's foot.

Cy pounds on Honda then stands on his throat. Honda kneels on Cy's neck on the ropes. Cy bodyblocks Honda over then walks on him. Hart slams Honda. Cy butt drops Honda and sits on him at 5 minutes.

Cy legdrops Honda for 2. Hart slams Honda and misses a senton. Honda spears Hart. Ren hits forearms on Hart then flying neckbreakers him. Ren corner facekicks Hart for 2. Hart suplexes Ren. Ren dropkicks Hart then Hart lariats Ren over.

Cy and Honda get in. Cy shoulders him over. Cy misses a corner charge and takes a lariat to the back of the neck. Ren facekicks Cy in the corner and Honda spears Cy. Cy throws Honda then takes a dropkick from Ren. Honda running lariats Cy for 2. Cy takes a chokeslam/powerbomb combo from his opponents.

Cy blocks Honda's lariat and slams him down for 2. Honda takes corner splashes then Cy powerbombs Honda. Hart sentons Honda. Cy vader bombs Honda and gets the win.

Thoughts: I didn't like Honda losing but I liked the match otherwise. Cy and Hart did okay as the big guys here and I popped for Cy being lifted for the chokeslam/powerbomb combo. There were no botches here and this went about as well as it could have gone.

Ren and Honda talk after. Honda is holding his head on the floor as Ren talks and seems upset.

Cyrus tells Hartley that they done it. Hart says the freight train has left hte station and there's no stops until the end. Hart says win or lose it doesn't matter, as long as thye destroy them. Cy says, "kill, kill, kill" and they leave.

Real World Tag League 2024 Block A Match - MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka vs. Saito Brothers (Jun Saito & Rei Saito)

SY = Seiki Yoshioka, Mu = Musashi

Mu ducks Rei's charge. Rei shaved his beard off here and looks totally different. Rei shoulders Mu. SY comes to help Mu. They hit kicks on Rei and double basement dropkick him. Jun is pulled out. SY and Mu get caught on plancha's then have their backs rammed into each other.

Mu is thrown into the rails, as is SY. Jun walks SY around with a headlock and Rei chokes Mu with a towel. SY is thrown into the rails then Rei shoulderblocks Mu against the post. Rei stands on Mu's back. Jun then joins him.

Rei slams Mu for 2. Rei misses a splash on Mu. Mu step up enzugiri's Rei. Mu dropkicks Rei in the knee then baseball slides him. SY tornado ddt's Rei for 2. SY hits chest kicks on Rei then Rei chop flurries him.

Jun running back elbows SY in the corner then delay suplexes him for 2. Jun knees SY in the gut and SY hits a scissors kick on him. Mu hits chops on Jun then Jun chops back. Mu slingshot double stomps Jun's back the nbasemnet dropkicks him after another double stomp to the back.

Jun facekicks Mu over. Mu takes corner attacks and Jun elbow drops him. Jun facekicks Rei on a failed double team. Jun then takes a double kick on the 2nd rope. Mu 2nd rope splashes Jun then SY top rope swantons Jun. Jun takes a double superkick for 2.

SY asai moonsaults Rei outside. Mu superkicks Jun in the face and the back of the head. Mu misses a top rope splash and Jun chokeslams him for 2. Mu avoids a doomsday device and trips Rei into an SY buzzsaw kick. Jun takes a double superplex off the buckles. SY top rope splashes Jun and Mu top rope frogsplashes Jun for 2.

Rei takes a double team then Jun shoulders Mu over. Mu rolls up Jun out of the chokeslam for 2. Mu hits kicks and forearms on Jun then Jun lariats him over. Mu takes a double chokeslam. Jun spears Mu for 2. Jun cobra clutch slams Mu and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag. I would have had the heels throw around and beat up the faces a bit more here and I would have maybe had the faces do a better comeback. What we got was okay though with the faces making comebacks and trying to score the upset.

The Saito's talk on the mic after. Jun tries to eat food but Rei takes it.

Overall thoughts: It was average. The main, semi main and the Nagao trios matches were all fine. The rest of the card wasn't good with laziness and Mike D Vecchio just having an off night. I liked the Nagao trios match best. I would give this a 5 out of 10 rating.
