WWE Monday Night Raw 11/11/2024

We are in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Gunther comes out to talk. He says all that matters is that he's still champ. He says he doesn't live in the past, he looks at what's in front of him. And he says Damian Priest is the next challenger for his title. Priest then comes out before much more is said. Priest says he wants to hear Gunther talk trash about him to his face. Priest guesses that Gunther wants to call him street trash and a bum.

Priest says he didn't think he could beat him but says he would have if Finn didn't betray him. He says Gunther's vibe is fading after being pinned by Cody Rhodes. He says he knows Gunther is full of doubt and can't beat him. Priest challenges him to take a shot at him and says he'd drop him if he did. 

Ludwig Kaiser comes out. He says Gunther beat Priest once already. He tells him to get out of the ring and save himself. He says he guarantees Gunther will beat him again. Gunther grabs the mic and shuts Kaiser up. Kaiser says he won't let Priest talk to him like that. Priest then punches Kaiser and lariats him out. Priest and Gunther stare down. Gunther then walks off. 

Cathy Kelley interviews Damage Ctrl. She says she's ready for Liv. Sane says they have other business tonight. Dakota Kai then walks in. She says she's p!ssed at PFC for taking 3 months off her career. She says nothing and no one will get them down. She says they will remind everyone what they are capable of.

Kofi Kingston and R-Truth talk in the back. Kofi says thank for helping out in their Final Testament match and apologizes for not helping him back after. He says Woods didn't want to get involved. Xavier Woods and Pete Dunne walk in. Pete is mad about Truth calling him "Butch". Kofi interrupts and Pete asks if he wants to make this his problem. Kofi says if you have a problem with Truth, you have a problem with him and they agree to a match tonight. Truth says good luck with Pete but it's Butch you have to worry about.

Damage Ctrl (Kairi Sane, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai) vs Pure Fusion Collectibe (Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark)

Zoey and Iyo go at it. Iyo side headlocks her then flips over her back. Iyo cartwheels off the ropes. Zoey back body drops her. Zoey puts her on her knee and Sonya running neckbreakers her.

Sonya suplexes Iyo and hits knees to the gut. Sonya is tripped into an axe kick from Sane. Sonya takes a double basement dropkick. Sane headscissors Zoey off the ropes and dropkicks Sonya and Zoey in the corner. Sane sliding d's Sonya then forearms her off the apron outside.

Shayna lariats Sane on the outside. We go to break and return. Sonya is sent into the post. Kai gets in and hits forearms on Shayna. Kai dropkicks her and does a flying snapmare. Kai scoprion kicks her and they trade shots.

Kai footpresses her down while she's over the middle rope. Kai facewash kicks Shayna then nails Sonya when Shayna moves. Shayna backdrops her and does a single leg crab.

Zoey misses a plancha outside. Sonya running knees Iyo then Sane top rope diving forearms Sonya. Zoey springboard dropkicks Sane. Shayna puts a sleeper on Iyo.  Iyo gets out and top rope moonsaults Shayna. Iyo then picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag here. Kai was definitely telling one of the heels to get out of the ring at one point here. But other than that, they hit everything clean and we got some flying.

Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso talk in the back. Sami says he likes Jimmy's chain and Jimmy has no reply. Jimmy says they need a 5th person for Wargames. Sami says he knows someone and Jimmy asks who he knows. Sami says he will text Jey.

Kofi Kingston vs Pete Dunne

This match is sponsored by Golden Corral. I went there once and watched a kid try to scoop nacho cheese with his hands. Xavier Woods is with Kofi

Pete forearms him over and rakes his face. Kofi springboard chops Pete then flips over him. Kofi 2nd rope dropkicks him then tope con hilos him. We go to break and return. Pete armbars him then kneedrops the arm. Pete foot chokes him in the corner and pounds on the arm. Kofi does a double knee press on him.

Kofi drpkicks him then kicks him in the corner. Kofi 2nd rope splashes Pete's back for 2. Pete bangs Kofi's arm off of his shoulder and step up enzugiri's him. Kofi double jumps and runs into a shot. Kofi hits a trouble in paradise kick and Woods lariats Pete outside.

Kofi and Woods argue about this and Woods says to win the match. Pete hits Kofi as he gets back in and hits a bitter end for the win.

Thoughts: This was used to push more issues between The New Day here. You can maybe make the claimn that Pete softened up the arm for the bitter end but I don't know if I buy it. This was average.

New Day argue after. 

The Judgment Day talk in the back. Finn rips Dom for not winning in the four way and getting Priest closer to the title. Dom asks why Finn wasn't there. Finn said Dom said he could handle Priest by himself. Dom says he got closer to the title than Finn has in a long time and says not to be mad at him for doing something he couldn't. Finn says they are one big happy family and families have to stick up for the other. Finn says Dom and Carlito should step up for them next week and fight The War Raiders. Dom says he will make it official and Carlito isn't happy.

Jade and Bianca talk. They say they will take Liv and Raquel down like anyone else. They say they will return to SD still the women's tag champs.

Bronson Reed comes out to talk. He says Seth Rollins is a hell of a competitor. He says he's not a competitor, but  a monster. He says he took out Seth, Priest and Sheamus last week and will take out anyone who stands in the way of him putting him down for good. He says Seth just has to come out if he wants his revenge.

Seth comes out. He goes after Reed and they fight. Reed bodyblocks him. Reed is pushed into the post. Reed superkicks him. Seth jumps off the table onto him. Security tries to stop it and fails. The fight continues. Seth gets to Reed and Reed topes security when Seth moves. Security and officials then break it up.

Seth talks to Adam Pearce in the back. He says he needs a a match with Reed. Pearce agrees and sets it up for next week. He says he has enough. Sami Zayn walks in and says he needs a 5th guy for Wargames. Sami says he knows about Seth's history with Roman. He says Seth and Roman are still brothers on some level and says he has nobody else. Sami says Seth is their 5th man.

Seth tells him he's out of his d@mn mind. He says he knows who Roman really is and is shocked that anybody would stand next to him, especially Sami. He says Sami has to be blind to not see that he's using him. Seth says no to teaming with them.

Damien Priest vs Ludwig Kaiser

DP forearms him and misses a corner splash. Kaiser sends DP's shoulder into the post then dropkicks him as he hangs over the middle rope. We go to break and return. Kaiser death valley drivers him. DP hits a broken arrow.

DP forearms him then throws him down. DP hits kicks and a spinning forearm. DP corner back elbows him and does a lifting flatliner. Kaiser rolls him up then PK's him for 2. Kaiser hits a kick then rebound lariats him. DP hits a south of heaven chokeslam and wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one here with an obvious outcome. DP didn't much but throw strikes here though most of them looked okay. Kaiser didn't get much in of substance.

Gunther comes out and stares DP from the entranceway after. 

Cathy Kelley interviews Bron Breakker about his Speed title match with Sheamus. He says he's looking to expand his trophy case and says he would have 2 titles on his shoulder if it weren't for the ugly, idiot, bonehead Sheamus getting in his way.

Sheamus comes in and says he's disrespectful even though he hasn't been here long. He says he has a lot of arrogance. He asks if he has enough guts to put his title on the line against him next week. Bron says he didn't listen to anything he said but will fight him for the title next week. He said he'd love to kick his old @ss. Sheamus says he's still going better than ever and tells him to shine the title up real nice for him.

Jey Uso then walks in. He says he wants to talk to him and we cut away.

The Miz and The Final Testament talk in the back. Miz says he wants a leave of absence. Kross asks where The Wyatt's are. Miz says he has to think of himself and his family. He says he apologized and The Wyatt's let him go. He says he's a better man now and they both moved on. Miz says Kross needs to move on. He says is Paul Ellering supposed to move on? Kross says it's time to break Miz's legs and AOP grabs Miz.

They head to the ring. Kross says Miz's story isn't adding up. Miz is bleeding from the eye. Kross shoves him and asks where The Wyatt's are. The lights then go out. The Wyatt's come out. Howdy says we're here. Kross has words for them. Miz then chairs Rowan in the back. Howdy laughs and everyone fights. Miz chairs Rowan. Nikki Cross is thrown off the apron. AOP hit a super collider. Miz hits a shorter skull crushing finale on Rowan. Kross then hits his finisher on Howdy. Miz and Kross celebrate as The Wyatt's are down. Howdy then laughs.

Seth Rollins is interviewed as he is leaving. He heads out and runs into The Bloodline. Solo says he can't stand Roman and knows Seth doesn't like him. Solo says they should join forces together and take him out. Seth laughs. He says the next time he's in the ring with Roman will be to stomp his head into the ground. He says he will never team with Roman but will never join forces with a wannabe Roman Reigns. Jacob Fatu gets mad they stare down. Seth then hits Solo's car as he leaves.

WWE Women's Tag Titles - Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) vs Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

BB takes Liv down. Then pound on each other on the mat. BB dropkicks Liv. BB hits corner spears then spears the post when Liv moves. Liv drops her with a punch and stomps on her. Liv is popped up into the buckles.

BB hits mounted punches. Liv throws BB off the buckles. Jade pulls Raq down and hits her. Liv dropkicks Jade through the ropes. Raq pushes Jade into the apron then Liv dropkicks BB off the steps. We go to break and return.

Jade spinebusters Liv then flying elbows her in the corner. Jade slams Raq. Jade does a weird sitout drop on Liv's front. Raq and Jade facekick each other at the same time. Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton come down. Nia samoan drops Jade into the apron edge. Raq vader bomb elbows Jade for 2.

Naomi comes to help out and Liv backcrackers her on the floor. Jade superkicks Liv as she comes off the buckles. BB hits a KOD on Liv and wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one with a bunch of shenanigans. What we got was acceptable.

Nia beat up the faces after. Iyo sKy comes out and springboard dropkicks Nia. Iyo shotei's Tiff and rolls her into a double stomp. Raq is double lariated over the top. Nia takes a double suplex. 

Thoughts: Well, there's your women's Wargames team. A women's Wargames isn't needed, but we are going to get it.

Overall thoughts: As has been the case with the 2 hour Raw's, there was nothing great here. They just have too many wrestlers and not enough time. I'm not a big fan of Wargames being a 5v5 instead of a 4v4 as both Bloodline and OG Bloodine have to recruit extra people who aren't involved in the story. The show was fine overall but there was nothing great here. I'd give this a 6 out of 10.
