Booker T and Vic Joseph talk about the show tonight.

Fraxiom talk in the back. Frazer is worried about winning tonight and says the other tag teams will destroy each other before they face them. Gallus then shows up behind them.

Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier - Nathan Frazer vs Eddy Thorpe

OTM and Hank and Tank are watching from the stands and the riser. NF wristlocks him then Eddy reverses it. NF throws him over by the arm and Eddy avoids a superkick. Eddy waistlock takedowns him and front facelocks him. NF runs the ropes and flying dropkicks Eddy. NF armdrags and armlocks him.

Eddy knocks over NF and hits kicks to the body. NF goes up and over then flatliners him into the buckles. NF pulls Eddy's neck forward. NF snap suplexes him. Gallus come out into the entrance way then Igwe and Dupont come out. Eddy and NF crossbody each other at the same time. OTM is missing from the riser. Stacks and Luca head to ringside.

We go to break and return. Eddy abdominal stretches NF. NF asai moonsaults into a reverse ddt. NF running ssp's him.  NF is crotched up top. The NQCC comes out and NF is distracted. NF takes a release german off the top then a brainbuster for 2.

NF headscissors Eddy out and then the tag teams start fighting. NF top rope swantons onto a bunch of people. Eddy hits kicks on NF then NF spinning suplexes him. NF hits a phoenix splash and wins.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced match. There wasn't a ton of selling in this one and a lot of the focus was on the various tag teams outside.

The tag teams fight outside and Frazer ends up getting knocked down.

Andre Chase talks about Chase U. He says he wanted to make a place where people felt like they belonged. He said he was lucky to find people who believed in him like he believes in them. He says he is risking a lot tonight and Chase U is about taking risks. He runs down the history of Chase U. He says the moments they made are part of them. He says they won't go anywhere. He says he will right Ridge's wrongs and show why NXT is a staple in the NXT Universe. He says he becomes the #1 contender tonight.

Giulia does a tpaed video. She says she's been here for 2 months and it's different from Japan. She says she's enjoing her time here. She says NXT is learning about her. We see clips of her Marigold matches and Mai Sakurai appears in some of the videos. She says she's a mix of chaos and creatiivity and says the other women in the ICS will get a taste of her beautiful madness. She says she will see Roxanne Perez soon.

Kelani Jordan, Robert Stone and Steve Turner are in the back. KJ says she's a standout and tells them to tell Ava she wants Giulia in an ICS qualifier.

Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier - Jaida Parker vs Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer does an inset. She says Jaida is good but in her way. She says she will be the new NXT women's champ when she beats Perez.

Steph headflips out of a wristlock and puts her own on. Jaida shoulders her over multiple times. SV rolls her up out of a headscissors then tries a bridge pin. SV armlocks her. SV stomps the arm into the mat. SV hanging armbars Jaida over the ropes. SV springboards and is caught then backbreakered. Jaida puts her on the 2nd rope and buttpresses her down.

We go to break and return. SV misses a corner charge and takes a backcracker for 2. Jaida reverse suplexes her for 2. Jaida pulls SV's arms back. Jaida chinlcoks her. SV hits a soul foot. SV corner meteora's her then bangs her head off the mat with a headscissors.

Jaida falcon arrows her for 2. SV gets out of a reverse suplex and rolls her up. Jaida gordbusters her then gets distracted by Lola Vice, who is carrying a brick. SV superkicks her then hits a package backbreaker for the win.

Thoughts: It worked a little better than I expected but it wasn't great or anything. The finish wasn't that good but at least it is leading somewhere.

Brinley Reece and Dion Lennox talk in the back and about college football and handling business in the mixed tag match tonight.

Roxanne Perez does a tweet. She says she's on a vacation and will relax while everyone else tries to follow in her footsteps. She says good luck to all the women busting their butt to lose to her. Someone, maybe Sol Ruca goes up to her and says enjoy her vacation as she'll be coming for her after Deadline.

Tony D'Angelo vs Brooks Jensen

Rizzo and Shawn Spears are out there with their buddies. They lock up. Tony side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Tony slams him. BJ hits a forearm then Tony flying forearms him. BJ sleepers him.

BJ drops him throat first on the ropes then stomps on him. BJ sleepers him again and Tony drops him backwards. BJ holds onto the sleeper. BJ goes over the top rope. Tony hits punches then belly to belly suplexes him. BJ codebreakers him off a spinebuster attempt.

Tony hits a spinebuster and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and not that interesting as expected. Brooks isn't the most exciting guy and they are just having him do generic heel stuff. Tony almost looked like he tweaked his knee here.

Shawn Spears and Tony shake hands. BJ then clips Tony.

Karmen Petrovic and Ashantee Adonis talk in the back about college football. They flirt and talk about the tag match tonight. 

I will not be covering the mixed tag match. 

Lexis King talks in the back. He says he thinks he has turned a new leaf and says he's trying to be the best version of himself he can be. He says people are starting to take notice. We then see him talking to Yoshiki Inamura. He says he understands. Josh Briggs then comes up to him and asks what that was about. He says he doesn't know and NXT is a crazy place. We then see the various tag teams fighting. He says that's his kind of crazy.

Ridge Holland is interviewed. He talks about destroying Chase U and says Chase has more guts than brains. He says Duke, Riley and Thea will be left to flounder on their own after tonight and says Chase U dies tonight.

Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier - Wren Sinclair vs Zaria

Wren waistlocks Zar. Zar reverses it and throws her down. Wren rolls her up. Wren jumps at her and gets caught. Wren tries to sunset flip her but Zar blocks it. Zar corner splashes her. Zar suplexes her and rolls into another suplex.

Wren suplexes Zar then misses one. Wren cradles her. Zar lariats her over he the top and goes with her. Zar stares down Dempsey outside then gets tope'd. Dempsey does not have his facial hair anymore. Wren hits chops on Zar and flying lariats her. Wren dropkicks her into the corner. Zar short arm lariats her.

Wren rolls her up for 2. Zar hits a big spear. Zar then F-5's her and wins.

Thoughts: It was what it was supposed to be with Wren getting some offense in before being put down. Wren had no shot here and I don't think anyone thought otherwise. Wren could have been a bit more fiery but Zaria did her job.

A doctor works on Tony D in the back and he gets mad. Ava comes in and says he wants a title match with Broos Jensen. Eddy Thorpe comes in and complains to Ava about the tag teams in his match. Tony says he wants the match with Brooks and Ava says okay. Ava says she can't reverse the ref's decision. Eddy says she gave Tony what he wanted when there was interference and leaves.

Fatal Influence are in the ring. Jacy says they have always been ahead of the curve and made sure they were on top of the strongest women's division in the world. Fallon says you stay on top by holding one of the titles. Fallon says everyone should talk about her instead of The Iron Survivor Challenge. Nyx says they are above everyone else. Fallon offers up an open challenge for next week. She says they need time to find an opponent for her.

Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson come out. Lash says she wants a piece of the open challenge. Nikkita Lyones comes out. She says Lash had her chance and tells her to go to the back of the line. Lyons says she'll see Fallon next week. Adriana Rizzo then nails Lyons and a whole bunch of girls come out and start fighting. Fallon then gets attacked from behind by Tatum Paxley. Tatum then holds up her title.

Jensen and Spears talk in the back. Niko Vance tells them Brooks got his title match next week.

Karmen and Ashante flirt more. Lyons interrupts and says she's waiting for the text back. Karmen then says of course and leaves.

Ethan Page talks about the Iron Survivor Challenge match and says the winner of it gets a title shot. He says he doesn't waste opportunity and picks his spot. He says the man with the most falls wins and all he has to do is qualify.

Fraxiom talk about Page. Axiom says Page won't be in it as he is his opponent for qualifiers. NF says he's happy for him and says what happens if he does qualify. Axiom says then they will have to face each other.

Tatum Paxley gets a match vs Fallon next week. Kelani Jordan vs Giulia is also set for next week. Ethan Page vs Axiom is set as well.

Chase talks to his class. He says they have never been conventional. He says he's been hard on them and apologizes...for nothing. Chase says two things are sure in life - he will give Ridge Holland an Andre Chase sized @sswhooping and he's on his way to becoming NXT champ. We see Kale Dixon in the classroom for this.

#1 Contenders Match - Chase leaves Chase U if he loses - Andre Chase vs Ridge Holland

Trick Williams joins the commentary team for this one.

Chase hits chops and punches. Ridge fires back some then Chase sends him into the buckles. Ridge belly to belly suplexes him. Ridge hits a corner splash then a belly to belly overhead suplex. Ridge hits crossface shots.

Chase hits forearms and is euro'd down. Ridge overhead belly to belly suplexes him. Ridge boots him in the head and pulls up the floor mats. We see Chase U watching in the back. Chase superkicks Ridge from the apron then cannonballs him off the apron. Chase then poses in the crowd.

We go to break and return. Ridges misses a top rope headbutt. Chase swinging neckbreakers Ridge. Ridge lariats Chase then ddt's him when Chase is laying on his shoulder. Ridge grabs a chair, the ref takes it and Ridge low blows Chase. Ridge then double underhook ddt's Chase. Duke and Thea come down and Duke pulls the ref out. Duke hits shots on Ridge and beats him up in the corner. Ridge drives Duke through the riser.

Riley then jumps off the ropes and swantons Ridge and Thea. Ridge gorilla press throws Riley out onto the exposed floor. Chase gets up and yells at Ridge. They trade shots and Chase russian legsweeps him. Chase hits C-H-A-S-E-U stomps on Ridge then hits a side effect for 2. Chase sitout powerbombs Ridge for 2.

Chase top rope crossbodies Ridge. Ridges rolls through it and hits a double underhook ddt and wins.

Thoughts: I had a feeling Chase was not winning here. I figured someone in Chase U would turn on him though. I'm not sure where the storyline is going so it's hard to comment. Chase U could go to the main roster since the crew is as ready as they will ever be or they could do some break-up storyline. We will have to see. I thought the gimmick could just keep going on in NXT forever as long as new wrestlers got involved. The match was fun with big stakes on the line. It wasn't a classic though. I don't know how the ref didn't see any of the interference.

Chase is upset after and the crowd sings the hey hey goodbye song.

Overall thoughts: As always, there was a lot going on here. I didn't think it was great but nothing was awful and the main was interesting. They also set up a couple of things for next week. I do think they are doing a poor job with Trick Williams and Oba Femi who were not on the show this week and Trick in particular has not done much as of late. I'd also like some clarification on where the endless tag team fights are going (I wish it was a Tag Team ICS). I liked the show overall and would give it a 6 out of 10.
