WOW Women of Wrestling 11/16/2024 Season 5, Episode 10

WOW Women of Wrestling 11/16/2024 Season 5, Episode 10

Last week's show is here:  https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2024/11/wow-women-of-wrestling-1192024-season-5.html

Note - I didn't get to see this episode when it aired. WOW's youtube channel airs all the matches from the show. However, WOW doesn't always air the full non-wrestling segments on their youtube channel and it's unknown if they are aired in order or not. It's basically like only reading half the recipe and wondering why your dinner tastes like garbage. I know I'm missing a lot through this version of the show but I don't know what I'm missing and it makes this one hard to cover.

Holly Swag is with The Fab Four. She thanks Lana and says she's getting the money and fame she deserves. She says it's time we take out the old hag.

Holly Swag vs Ashley Blaze

Penelope Pink is on commentary. Holly boots her. Ash goes over her, rolls and armdrags her. Ash rolls her then hits a dropkick. Ash trips her then poses. Miami's Sweet Heat pull Ash out as she poses. Holly baseball slides Ash. Holly hits a snap suplex.

Ash shoulders Holly over then Holly shoulders her over. Holly shining wizards Ash from the side for 2. Ash back elbows her and bangs Holly's head off her knee. Ash running heel kicks her in the corner then facewash kicks her.

Ash argues with Lindsay Carlson on the outside and Laurie lariats Lindsay on accident. Ash superkicks Lindsay. Lana Star distracts the ref on the apron. Holly hits Ash with a sock filled with rocks and pins her.

Thoughts: I wasn't a big fan of this. You would never know Ash was the former WWE wrestler here as her offense looked really bad. The ref should have done something about the interference during this one as well.

The Fab Four talk after Holly's match. Lana says Holly's the greatest edition to the family. Holly says she thinks it's time we learn that she's Holly Swag and she don't play. She says it's time we got rid of that old fart and we are right where we need to be.

Coach Campanelli vs Valentina Diamante

This is Val's WOW debut. Coach yanks on Val's arm. Val rolls out of a wristlock. Coach breaks a waistlock. Val backslides her for 2. Val hits a snapmare then low crossbodies her for 2.

Coach misses a corner charge. Kandi Krush pulls Val off the apron outside. Coach basement dropkicks Val for 2. Val crucifixes her then Coach sharpshooters her. Val rolls up Coach out of it for 2. Val hits flying shots on her then crossbodies her for 2. Coach hits an unprettier and gets the win.

Thoughts: I thought they did a good job in pushing that Val might get the win here. Val didn't really impress in her debut though. She does really simple offense and none of it looks good.

Top Tier beat up on Val after. The Dojo Defenders seem to make the save. They say they will not stand for this. They say if they want to prove they are the best team in wrestling  then put their titles on the line. Top Tier agrees. Coach says they will see all 3 of them in the ring. Val gets on the mic after and says Viva Mexico. What that has to do with anything, I don't know.

Angelica Dante yells at Chainsaw and says she needs to focus. Pepe Riley gives her a flower and says good luck. Dante yells at her then Chain grabs the flower.

Siren the Voodoo Doll and Chainsaw vs Tormenta and Princess Aussie

We see clips of Pep Reilly giving Chainsaw a flower. Angelica Dante didn't like it and made her put it down. Chain then apparently grabbed it and then hides it under the ring before this starts.

Siren waistlock takedowns Aussie. Aussie ducks a lariat and flying headscissors Siren. Aussie and Tor hit corner attacks on Siren. Siren headbutts Tor in the gut. Chain gets in and lariats Tor over for 2. Tor lariats Chain on the ropes and step up enzugiri's her. Tor lifts Aussie for a codebreaker on Chain.

Aussie hits shots on Chain. Siren hits Aussie from the ropes then Chain lariats Aussie over. Chain chokes aussie in the corner then hits corner spears. Chain chokes Aussie in the corner and Siren corner splashes Aussie. Siren corner cannonballs Aussie for 2.

Aussie back elbows Siren then Aussie spin kicks her. Aussie hits a ddt on Siren. Tor gets the hot tag in and hits a nice top rope dropkick on Chain. Tor lariats siren over. Chain grabs the glower Pep gave her. Siren rakes Tor's mask. Chain gets in and neckbreakers Tor. Chain gets mad that Dante has her flower and Tor rolls up Chain to win.

Chain then goes to pick up the pieces of the flower outside.

Thoughts: This wasn't too good. The flow was just not there. Chain's swinging neckbreaker continues to look awful and she needs to drop it. Tor hit a nice top rope dropkick here. The Tormenta/Aussie team continues to pile up wins here though I don't think they are really over enough to justify it.

Penelope Pink vs Santana Garrett

They lock up. Pink armdrags her. SG hits armdrags back and armlocks her. SG hits another armdrag and Pink tries to crucifix her. SG la magistral's her.

Pink takes her down and tries a jack knife pin. Pink boots her then snapmares her. Pink misses a clothesline. SG handsprings at her and hits an armdrag off of it.

Pink pulls SG's throat down over the top rope. Pink sits on SG on the ropes while The Fab Four pose. Pink slams SG then cartwheel elbow drops her. SG sunset flips Pink. Pink hits a big forearm. Pink sliding germans SG.

Pink snapmares her and sliding elbows her. Pink is on the ropes and is pulled down onto the buckles. Holly Swag gets on the apron and SG lariats her. SG hits a top rope crossbody on Pink for 2. SG forearms her. SG slaps Pink then handstand headscissors her in the corner. SG goes to handspring but Holly trips up SG. Pink hits her pretty in pink and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay match but had a lot of shenanigans from the heels. Pink winning wasn't too shocking considering where everything is storyline wise and considering SG hasn't had any big wins of late. This match was mostly just to put over Holly Swag and the heels.

Overall thoughts: As I stated, I only saw the youtube version of this and not the TV version. I know there's some things missing from it. I don't know what and I may never know. The matches weren't that great here aside from the main which was okay. Valentina Diamante did not impress in her debut and I'd never guess Ashley Blaze was in WWE if I didn't already know it. They built some things up for next week and I am curious to see where this Pep Reilly and Chainsaw storyline goes. I'm not going to rate this one as I feel like I missed some of it.
