Tokyo Desert Homeless Person Death Match - Brahman Brothers & Dobunezumi Fukki vs. F-SWAG (Gaia Hox & Yuya Susumu) & HAKKA

This is joined in progress. A Brahman comes off the top with a shield and misses everyone, crashing to the floor. Hox step up enzugiri's Fukki then Susumu and and a Brahman fight over a pig's head. Everyone minus Fukki joins this battle then Fukki rams them with a shopping cart. The Brahman's grab Hakka by

the crotch and he throws them off. Hakka then has a spike slammed into his crotch with a sign. He overcomes it though, throws both Brahmans off and double lariats them. Hox tope con hilos outside.

Fukki takes an axe kick and a lariat. Hox's team has a pig's head and a suitcase banged into their crotches with a bowling ball. Fukki gets his head banged off a pig's head then a Brhamn throws powder into his brothers face. Hox puts a santa hat on a Brahman, says merry christmas then superkicks him. Yuya takes a suitcase to the head and Hox hits a Brahman in the head with a sign. Yuya picks up at the win at 6:41.

Believe me, no one will confuse me for a PETA member. But, I don't think it's right to mutilate dead animals and I don't support what they were doing here. The match wasn't long and it was all gross hardcore comedy.

Kengo, Tatsuhito Takaiwa & Yusaku Ito vs. Dragon Libre, GENTARO & Rekka

TT = Tatsuhito Takaiwa

We join this in progress. TT death valley drivers Gentaro. Rekka and Kengo get in. Rekka leg lariats him in the back of the head. Rekka springboard dropkicks him then Kengo face kicks Rekka. Kengo backdrops him for 2. Kengo face kicks him then takes a dropkick.

Libre top rope crossbodies Kengo and they trade forearms. They trade slaps then Kengo hits forearms. Libre suplexes Kengo then Libre takes a double boot. Ito and Kengo throw Libre down backwards and his mask comes off. Ito running face kicks Libre then jawbreakers him. Libre step up enzugiri's Ito then Twisting fisherman's neckbreakers him.

Gen punches Ito in the corner then Rekka death valley drivers Ito. Libre meteora's Ito for 2. Ito and Libre trade forearms. They headbutt each other. Libre superkicks him then is lariated by TT. Ito brainbusters Libre and wins it.

It was joined in progress and went 11:40. We saw less than half of it here. What we saw was okay but it wasn't enough to accurately judge this. 

Lucha Extrema Tornado Eight Man Tag Team Match - Daisuke Masaoka, Mammoth Sasaki, Rina Yamashita & Takashi Sasaki vs. ERE (Crazy King, Takayuki Ueki & Violento Jack) & Sick Boy

DM = Daisuke Masaoka

Sick Boy is sadly not the WCW Sick Boy but a lucha guy. All 8 fight to start and 6 end up outside. King and DM go at it. King uses the ropesto flip out of a hold then DM armdrags him. King spinning forearms him. Takashi and Ueki go at it. Ueki arm throws him, cartwheels over him then armdrags him. Ueki flying battering rams him then misses a headbutt drop.

Ueki takes a double shoulder then Takashi takes a double flying headbutt. Boy and Mammoth go at it. They chop each other and shoulder battle. Mammoth tries to hit him with a nail 2x4 then Sasaki hits Jack with some kind of barbed wire christmas tree on a stick. Boy and Mammoth shake hands and hug then Mammoth gut punches him. Rina hits gut shots on Ueki then is headbutted. Rina grabs Jack and Ueki by the crotch then Boy back elbows her.

Rina takes a 4 person basement dropkick that Ueki messes up on purpose. Mammoth takes corner attacks then lariats Ueki. Mammoth slams Boy then lariats Jack over. DM hits an asai moonsault on opponents outside. Ueki takes corner moves then Mammoth powerbombs Takashi to superplex Ueki in a dumb spot.

DM chairs Jack and Boy. Boy death valley drivers DM into a barbed wire board. Rina grabs Boy by the crotch then step up enzugiri's him. Ueki headbutts a barbed wire chair on Rina then corkscrew headbutts it into her in a dumb spot. King 2nd rope dropkicks Mammoth then Takashi ddt's Mammoth and buzzsaw kicks him. Takashi and Jack lariat each other. Jack hits a package side piledriver on Takashi. Jack tope con hilos outside then King hits a heatseeker ddt on Takashi to win it at 9:28.

It was a hardcore multi-man match. We had a couple of highlight spots and lots of dumb stuff from Ueki. The lucha guys were something different here than the usual crew but didn't stick out that much. Usually I'd say 10 minutes for an 8-man tag isn't enough, but when you are dealing with these characters, you don't even need that.

The Mexican's beat up their opponents after.

King Of FREEDOM World Tag Team Title Match - ERE (Kyu Mogami & Toshiyuki Sakuda) (c) vs. Minoru Fujita & Takahiro Katori

 

Kyu and Fujita go at it. Fujita rolls out of a wristlock then Kyu headlock takeovers Fujita. They stand off and tag out. Katori dropkicks Kyu off the apron then basement dropkicks Sakuda. Katori knee drops Sakuda for 2 and they trade forearms. Sakuda eye rakes him and dropkicks him.

Kyu chinlocks Katori then Sakuda hiptosses Katori. Kyu drops Katori's knee on his knee then leglocks him. Kyu puts his hands in his pockets and lets Katori forearm himthen Katori suplexes him. Fujita throws out Kyu then topes him. Sakuda then springboard plancha's outside and Katori step up tope con hilos outside.

Kyu takes a russian legsweep + pumping knee. Kyu ddt's Fujita then tags out. Sakuda back elbows Fujita in the corner then does a bad chin breaker. Sakuda running euros him and suplexes him. Sakuda standing moonsaults Fujita for 2. Fujita gets his knees up on Sakuda's springboard swanton. Katori dropkicks Sakuda for 2 and Fujita top rope splashes Sakuda.

Katori top rope dropkicks Sakuda for 2. Sakuda springboard hurricanrana's Fujita then Katori dropkicks Sakuda. Katori comes off the top then is caught and rolling death valley drivered. Katori hurricarana's Sakuda then step up enzugiri's him. Sakuda deadlift germans Katori then is suplexed.

Fujita and Kyu trade forearms. Fujita flying shoulders him. Kyu is bridged over the middle rope and takes a ddt + top rope dropkick. Kyu running forearms Katori then Fujita spears Kyu. Kyu takes a spike tombstone then Katori backdrops him for 2.  Katori takes a sliced bread + powerbomb combo. Sakuda crucifix bombs Fujita and Kyu sitout uranage's Katori.

Katori blocks Kyu's cutter then release backdrops him for 2. Kyu cutters Katori out of his kamigoye attmept for 2. Kyu TKO's Katori and wins it at 16:59.

It was long and not that good. Katori's leg was worked on early and completely forgotten about. There wasn't a lot of selling here and I didn't really like Sakuda and Kyu being more heels here instead of faces. The crowd really liked Katori here though.

Kyu teases a handshake after but flips off Katori.

Hardcore Match - Jun Kasai vs. Jun Masaoka

 Kasai poses on the ropes and gets nailed. JM hits him with a sign then drive by dropkicks him on the apron. JM slingshot sentons him. JM avoids a charge and sends Kasai headfirst into a table. JM cuts off some of Kasai's hair. Kasai piledrivers him on a chair then hits him with the chair.

JM is put on a table outside and Kasai top rope splashes him through it. Kasai hits JM over the head with a table piece then bites his head. Kasai puts skewer sticks in JM's head then brainbusters him. Kasai powerbombs JM on a ladder and they trade forearms. Kasai headbutts him down then hits him in the head with a bucket.

JM 2nd rope dropkicks him then JM basement dropkicks Kasai. Kasai running lariats him then hits an angel's wings for 2. Kasai hits his splash off a ladder but JM gets his knees up. JM hits Kasai with a bucket then hurricanrana's him over the 2nd rope.

Kasai bangs JM's ankle off a chair. Kasai stands on a chair to suplex him and both end up falling through it. Kasai running lariats JM for 2. They butt heads up top and JM superkicks Kasai's head into the top buckle. JM hits Kasai with his own double underhook canadian destroyer on chairs off the 2nd rope.

Kasai hits shots on JM then hits an angel's wings at 15 minutes.  They trade forearms and JM superkicks and headbutts him. JM axe kicks him for 2. Kasai backdrops JM on chairs then jaydrillers him on chairs for 1. Kasai kisses JM then splashes him off a ladder for 2. Kasai hits him with a table piece then straightjacket powerbombs him to win it at 18:12.

They did way too much here with 2nd rope canadian destroyers and jay drillers not even being enough to put down these guys. There was no story here and they were multiple stunts that anyone could have bought as a finisher yet meant nothing. Jun even got his hair cut here and didn't particularly seem to care that much.

Jun puts over Masaoka on the mic after and the crowd cheers for Masaoka.

King Of FREEDOM World Title 4 Fluorescent Lighttubes & Glass Board T.K.D. Death Match - Toru Sugiura (c) vs. Masashi Takeda

 

Takeda runs at him with tubes then busts some over his own head for some reason.  Takeda is sent into the tube ropes, no sells it and dropkicks him. Toru then sells being sent into the tube ropes. Takeda is sent into the tube ropes head first and Toru hits himself in the head with tubes. Toru headbutts a tube into Takeda's head then forearms a tube into the back of Takeda's head.

Toru and Takeda trade forearms and Toru busts more tubes over his own head. Toru hits Takeda with tubes. They trade forearms and Toru suplexes him. Toru takes a knee and headbutt then Takeda rolls both of them into a glass pane. Takeda swings hedge clippers at Toru then rakes his head with them. Takeda puts the clippers in Toru's mouth then russian leg sweeps him with them.

Toru slams Takeda then Takeda slams him. They trade forearms. Toru springboards and has tubes thrown at him. Takeda then exploders him on tubes. Tubes are bridged on chairs and Takeda is twisting suplexed through them. Toru forearms tubes into Takeda's gut and they trade forearms. 

Toru cannonballs tubes into Takeda. Toru goes to dive on him outside but has tubes thrown at his head. Takeda shotgun dropkicks tubes into him then step up knees him in the corner. Takeda meteora's knees into him then chairs a chair into his head. Takeda has a tube in his mouth and Toru knees him in the back. They go up top and Takeds rolls both of them onto a tin can and fork board.

They trade forearms and Toru germans him. Takeda dragon suplexes him then Toru knees tubes into him. Takeda no sells it and uranages him on a the fork/can board. Toru is slammed on the floor. Takeda bridges a glass pane on chairs above Toru. Toru gets up and hits him wit hthe fork and can board then pounds a fork in his own head for some reason. Toru michinoku drivers him off the apron through the glass on the chairs.

Toru 2nd rope deadlift suplexes him in. Toru then michinoku drivers him for 2 at 20 minutes. Takeda uraken's tubes into Toru's head and Toru no sells it. They trade forearms and ight over tubes. They headbutt the tubes together then Takeda does a sitout dominator on Toru on tubes. Takeda knees tubes into Toru. Toru no sells it then Takeda fire thunder drivers him for 2. Takeda regalplexes him through tubes to win it at 22:31.

This was terrible and easily my pick for the worst match of 2023. It's not often that a much is destroyed within the first few minutes, but it was here when they decided to show everyone how tough they were by hitting themselves with tubes. Takeda was even sending himself through glass panes here. They purposely no sold most of the big moves in this match and of course there was no story here. This was awful.

Overall thoughts: This show was awful. The main is my pick for the worst match of 2023 and the semi-main wasn't much better. The opener featured them doing spots with a pig's head and spots based around Hakka's crotch. We also had some intergender wrestling here to further ruin this. Stay far away from this one.
