Leono, Retro & Valiente Jr. vs. Apocalipsis, Cholo & Raider

Apoc and Leono start us off and Leono armdrags him. More Leono armdrags and Apoc tags to Raider. Retro quickly surfboards Raider before he gets out and they don't do much in their exchange. Valiente and Cholo trade armholds Leono gets in and armdrags Apoc out then Leono runs up the ropes and armdrags Cholo. He then headscissors Raider.

Retro hits a weak flying clothesline on Apoc then flying headbutts Cholo. Valentie hits a bad spinning headscissors on Apoc then hits one on Raider. Retro takes corner clotheslines then is running kicked into the innder thigh while his legs are split. Valiente gets double backdropped then Leono gets double dropkicked. Retro hits a double clothesline on the heels then Valiente tornillo armdrags Raider before hitting a tope on him.

Retro top rope plamchas Apoc then sits on his neck and double reverse armbars him out of nowhere to submit him. Raider then submits Retro by lifting him with an armhold. Leono tope con hilos an opponent off the apron then Valiente is submitted via camel clutch by Raider for the rudos victory.

This wasn't too good at all. They didn't do much early and the stuff they did do later on wasn't that good. The submission finishes were also rushed and didn't make much sense.

Disturbio, Enfermero Jr. & Nitro vs. Arkalis, Pegasso & Stigma

1st fall: Stima uses the ropes to flip out of an armbar on Disturbio, then Dis comes back with an armdrag. Pegasso hits some armdrags on Enfermero. Arklais flips in and holds onto the bukcles but gets pulled into a small powerbomb. Disturbio holds Ark's legs open and Nitro elbows him between the legs. Pegasso then gets a 2nd rope double stomp between the split legs and is pinned. Enfermero splashes Arkalis then Disturbio meteoras him for the rudos victory.

2nd fall: Stigma takes a 3v1 to start the fall then has his legs split and is dropkicked between them. Arkalis is held up and dropkicked then Enfermero basement dropkicks Pegasso to the face. Enfermero drops Stigma with a punch then makes him go out after a pop-up and a punch. Stigma springboard crossbodies his opponents then is flipped, rebounded and double armdrags Nitro and Dis. Stigma hurricanrana's Nitro off the apron. Pegasso spinning headscissors Dis and pins him then Arklais blue thunders Enfermero for the technicos victory.

3rd fall: Pegasso takes a 2v1 then flips off the ropes to double armdrag the rudos. He then gets popped up into a headscissors on Dis then armdrags Enfermero out. Arklais spinning tilt-a-whirl backbreakers an opponent then Arkalis twisting armdrags Dis from the top. Arkalis headscissors Enfermero out. Stigma armdrags Nitro then Enfermero takes a side slam + leg drop combo. Enfermero gets lifted up by all 3 tech's then is gorilla pressed down.

The techs hit double hurricanrana's on the heels then Arkalis comes off the inside 2nd rope for a flip dive while at the same time, Pegasso tornillo's to the outside. Stigma springboard splashes Nitro and hurricanrana's him for technicos match victory.

This wasn't too bad with the faces getting lots of armdrags and hurricanrana's in before winning.

Blue Panther, Dark Panther, Panterita del Ring & Panterita del Ring Jr. vs. Los Gemelos Diablos (Gemelo Diablo I & Gemelo Diablo II), Espanto Jr. & Felino

The Panterita's del Ring and the Gemelos look identical and I'm going to confuse these guys.

1st fall: Espnato and BP do a nice armdrag and mat wrestling exchange. BP armdrags Espanto but is stomped on by the heels. PDR Jr. top rope corssbodies a Gemelo and DP hits some armdrags on Felino. The rudos 4v2 beat up on the Panterita's then Espanto top rope splashes DP and pins him. PDR Jr. gets double powerbombed and rolled into a pin and the rudos win the fall.

2nd fall: Felino teases letting DP tag out then a Diablo 2nd rope splashes DP. PDR gets ganged up on by the rudos and laid on the top rope. He then gets a splash by a Diablo. PDR Jr. springboard 450 hurricanrana's a Diablo out then DR topes the same Diablo. PDR Jr. then flips over the top and hurricanranas Espanto and the technicos grab stereo pins to win this.

3rd fall: The techs hit triple sunset flips to start this then the 3 rudos are rammged into each other. The techs then put the rudos in the star and PDR Jr. hurricanrana's someone in the middle of it. PDR Jr. top rope SSP's Espanto. The Diablos double suplex PDR then flip PDR Jr. onto him. The Diablos are rammed into each other then PDR Jr. running SSP's a Diablo and BP pins him. DP spinning hurricanrana's a Diablo then tope's him into the rails. PDR topes Felino then PDR Jr. does a unique corkscrew dive. Diablo gets an F-U out of nowhere on BP and the rudos win the match.

The ending was lame and out of nowhere. Panterita Jr. was the star here with some cool dives and the third fall was otherwise fun except for the bad finish.

Euforia vs Atlantis Jr.

1st fall: Atlantis is jumped during his entrance and slapped with his own robe. Atlantis is then ripcord slammed onto the rail. He then is thrown over the rail. Euforia lariats him and Atlatis comes back with a hurricanrana for the quick fall win.

2nd fall: Atlantis gets beat on to start. Euforia pops him up and basement dropkicks him. Atlantis top rope crossbodies Euforia then kind of gets rolled up into a powerbomb for the quick Euforia fall win.

3rd fall: Atlantis recovers outside then armdrags Euforia. He top rope dropkicks him then tope's him into the rails. They go into the crowd and Atlantis hits some chops before throwing him back over the rail. Atlantis crossbodies him from the top for 2. Atlantis gets on his shoulders and tries to roll him up but gets reversed for a 2 count. Euforia hits a big hiptoss then messes up a rebound armdrag. Atlantis tries to pin him but the ref delays it since Euforia is on the ropes.

They trade chops outside and Atlantis hits a nice powerslam when they get back in. Atlantis goes to unmask him and pushes round the ref for trying to stop him. Atlantis goes up top then is 2nd rope butterfly suplexed for 2. Euforia hits a really weird drop, like a reverse TKO. He misses a top rope swanton then Atlantis frogsplashes him for 2. Atlantis tries to run the ramp and crossbody him over the top but Euforia moves, then rips his mask. Atlantis then rips his mask and tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. He then takes off the mask and gets DQ'd like an idiot, then pushes the ref for it. Euforia wins!

Atlantis' role here didn't make sense. He was a total face for the first two falls then went heel for no real reason and got himself dq'd. The match wasn't great but it had time and would have been a perfectly fine match if not for the mask ripping nonsense.

Overall thoughts: I skipped the women's match but I thought the Stigma match and the 8-man tag were fine. The main was okay until Atlantis decided to be a heel in the middle of the match and get himself dq'd like a moron for no reason.

CMLL 2/11/2022

Angelito and Último Dragoncito vs Minos and Mercurio

Minos takes down Ultimo in something like an STF then Ultimo comes back with a hammerlock on him. Ultimo armdrags him then Minos does one back. Ultimo is on Minos' shoulders and armdrags him and the two do a stand off.

Mercurio and Angelito get in.Angelito does a big flip in and Merc teases it, but opts not to and laughs. Angelito handstands out of an armdrag attempt then Merc does a kung fu pose as he kips up. Ang then gets tripped by Minos and beat down. Ang takes a sandwich double forearm then is double gorilla press slammed. The rudos then pose.

Ultimo gets his leg split on the middle rope and Merc sure seems to kick him in the crotch, but the ref says it's the butt. Ultimo then gets codebreakered and double stomped. Ang comes in for a springboard dropkick but the rudos move then Merc twists his nipples.

Merc tries to spear Ang in the corner, but Ang moves and he goes out. Ang backflips into a spinning headscissors on Minos. Merc has a blast goofing around with the crowd and Ultimo tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Ang then gets popped up into a double dropkick and both tope con hilo the rudos. Minos does a seated hammerlock to Ultimo and taps him out then Ang takes a buckle bomb from Merc. Merc gets behind him as he is on his knees and stretches him for the rudos win.

This was around 10 minutes long and very good. Merc was a great rudo here with tons of personality and ended up carrying this one.

El Audaz, Dulce Gardenia and Esfinge vs Luciferno, Cancerbero and Virus

1st fall: Cancer and Dulce roll a little and Dulce is armdragged. Dulce tries gay stuff to Cancer and armbars him. Virus and Esfinge mat wrestle and butt heads. Audaz does a nice springboard otrnillo then headscissors Luciferno out. The Rudos put Audaz's arms under his leg and kind of flip him into a powerbomb. Audaz gets pinned then Dulce misses a springboard crossbody. Efinge takes running clotheslines from all 3 opponents then takes a nasty shoulderbreaker for the rudos win.

2nd fall: Esfinge hits a nice tornado kick on Luciferno then Audaz springboard headscissors an opponent. Dulce moonsaults Virus then Audaz headscissors Luciferno off the apron. Dulce messes up his submission (leg figure four + armbar) and wins it in a very quick fall.

3rd fall: Dulce does a bunch of gay stuff on Virus then runs up the ropes for a tonrillo. He then hits a butt bump and dances and tries to kiss Luciferno. Dulce walks up the ropes and armdrags Luciferno down. Audaz flips into the top rope and lands on the ramp then he headscissors Virus and takes lariat from Cancerbero. Audaz headscissors him and Luciferno. Esfinge 619's Cancerbero and as the rudos lay near each other, Audaz and Dulce hit springboard splashes on them. Esfinge does a nice tope con hilo and the techs roll up for the rudos for 2.

Dulce hits a corner butt bump on Luciferno then Audaz spears the post when a rudo moves. Esfinge takes a 3v1 with lariats and shoulders then is set up like a 619, only Virus jumps on his back. The techs hit double dives then Virus hits a ddt on Esfinge to win it.

This was pretty decent. The 2nd fall was a quick waste of time and I didn't like all the Dulce stuff, but it was fast paced and we got some nice flying.

Volador Jr. vs Fugaz

They do the usual lucha reversals to start and then stand off. Fugaz gets a couple of pin attempts and Volador rolls out to take a breather. Fugaz walks up the ropes and armdrags him then hits a great tornillo. They both run the ropes and Volador headscissors him then tope con hilo's him. Back in and Fugaz hits a Toyota roll for 2. Volador superkicks him and backcrackers him.

Volador goes at him and ends up on the floor then Fugaz jumps off the inside second rope and hurricanrana's Volador on the floor. Volador running crossbodies and Fugaz backflips into a slam on him. Fugaz 619's him over the 2nd buckle and springboard splashes him for 2. Volador rolls into a sunset bomb for 2. Fugaz then hit a top rope moonsault onto the floor on him.

They trade step-up enzugiri's and Volador superkicks him, then is pop-up cuttered. He no sells it then they face kick each other at the same time. They go up top and Fugaz top rope hurricanrana's him for 2. They go up top again and Volador hits a top rope spanish fly for 2. They do a monkey flip and Fugaz hits him with a canadian destroyer out of it...for 2 of course. Volador then hits a canadian destroyer and wins it.

This was all flying here and I was liking it. However they just got lazy in the last few minutes with the no selling and the big move kickouts for no reason, bringing this one down.

Niebla Roja, Angel de Oro and Terrible vs Los Infernales (Mephisto, Euforia and Hechicero)

1st fall: Each side gets a hold in and it results in everyone coming in and arguing. Mephisto and Roja kick each other and Roja gets ripcord slammed on the rail. Mephisto then lariats him off it. Angel is bridged off the apron and Hechicero baseball slides him in the face. Terrible gets double hiptossed into a powerbomb for the rudos 1st fall victory.

2nd fall: The rudos 3v1 Roja and tilt-a-whirl backbreaker then ddt him. Roja gets bridged in the air and Mephisto dropkicks him from the 2nd rope. Terrible gets put against the 2nd rope and gets crossbodied, then takes a triple boot out. Roja gets 3v1'd and slappped by Mephisto.

The two teams exchange shoulders and Mephisto gets a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Roja rolls him into a laying pendulum submission and wins the fall.

3rd fall: Terrible and Euforia stare down then Terrible takes a 3v1. Terrible headscissors Mephisto out and poses. Angel and Hechi trade chops then the techs corner clothelines and triple dropkick Mephisto. Euforia then gets double suplexed on Mephisto for 2.

Roja spinning headscissors Mephisto then does the same to the other rudos. Angel tope con hilos Euforia then Euforia hits a very dangerous looking tope con hilo on Terrible. Oro hits a triangle moonsault on the inside to Mephisto then Hechi rolls him backwards into an arm and leg lock.

Hechi slingshots in on Roja into a wild arm and leg submission and submits him. Terrible and Hechi trade chest chops and Euforia top rope plancha's Terrible. Roja takes a double underhook piledriver for the rudos match win.

The rudos won this with first and third fall victories. I thought this was pretty good. Not great and not as many highlights as the other matches but I didn't have many issues with it.

Overall thoughts: I liked almost all 4 matches as the Volador/Fugaz match had some issues near the end. I thought it was a good show with a lot of flying and some fast paced matches.

ICW 2/27/2022 - ICW No Holds Barred Volume 22

ICW 2/27/2022 - ICW No Holds Barred Volume 22

Every match is kind of no rules with lightubes and chain ropes. I skipped a few matches here.

Neil Diamond Cutter vs. Aeroboy

Neil misses a tube shot and gets tubes broken into his chest with a kick. Aero then michinoku drivers him and drops him on the chain ropes. Aero hits more chest kicks on Neil then kicks tubes into his chest. Neil comes back with a senton and hits him with a staple gun. He then starts stapling him.

Neil breaks a stack of tubes over Aero's back then headbutts tubes into his head. Aero cranks Neil's arm back hard then Aero drives a chair into his gut. Neil tope's Aero then Aero topes him. They go back inside and Neil hits a Tenryu guh punch combo.

Neil gets picked up and electric chair rammed into a board with tubes. Aero misses a swanton and superkicks him for 2. Aero charges and is hit with a back drop and a falcon arrow for 2. Neil then splashes him from a ladder with some tubes and wins it.

I didn't like this one too much. They just jumped right into doing the big moves and because Neil is so light, a lot of the tube shots and other moves didn't really connect like they should.

SHLAK vs Hoodfoot

They hit each other with light tubes to start and break a bunch over their heads. They then throw handfuls of them at the other and Hoodfoot german suplexes him. Shlak backdrops him then takes a hard release german on the head. Hoodfoot then gets an exploder and they lariat each other. Hoodfoot seems to be bleeding from the head.

They go outside and hit some headbutts then Shlak gets some kind of steel frame and pushes it into his head. They sit down in chairs in the seats and punch each other then Shlak chairs him. Hoodfoot charges at Shlak and goes into a table then Shlak puts a plastic bag around Hood's head. Shlak punches a tube into Hood's back then scrapes glass pieces on his head. Hood hits Shlak with a bundle of tubes and they trade shots.

Hood release germans him then gets some tubes broken over his head. Shlak then kind of back body drops him on chairs. He then gets tubes that are kind of shaped like sun rays and nails him with it. He then wins with a choke.

This was fun. It was short and action packed. They bled and didn't overdo it and the crowd was into it.

Bobby Beverly vs. John Wayne Murdoch

They trade forearms to start then John hits hit with some tubes. He grabs some kind of knife and starts pushing it into BB's head. John russian leg sweeps him onto a knife board then is irish whipped into tubes in the corner. John then shotgun dropkicks BB into tubes in the other corner.

John breaks another tube over his head and throws BB into chairs. John breaks another tube over BB's head then stbas him with a tube while BB is on a fan's lap. BB comes back with a tube shot and headbutts a tube on him. BB then stabs John in the head with a tube. John gets another tube headbutted into him and they sit down on chairs to trade chops.

John is inside and drops a glass pane on BB on the outside, but it doesn't break, so he does it again and it breaks. John gets a box of tubes on the apron and BB backdrops him on it. They trade chest chops in the ring then headbutts.

John sets up a glass pane but BB suplexes him through it for 2. BB throws a chair at him the backdrops him through a glass pane for 2. John gets backdropped but doesn't sell it then BB is thrown through tubes in the corner. John grabs a stick bundle of tubes and BB crossbodies him to break it across his chest. BB then throws piles of tubes at his face and back. John comes back though with a suplex through tubes on the chair to win it.

John got too much offense here and the finish was totally out of nowhere without any build. I didn't like John's no selling here either.

ICW American Deathmatch Title Four Way Match - Reed Bentley (c) vs. Jake Crist vs. Tommy Vendetta vs. Justin Kyle

A four way deathmatch is really unique. Jake hits Tommy behind the head with tubes then everyone 3v1's Tommy with tubesand stomps him. Justin hits a big clothesline on Tommy then Reed hits him with carpet strips. Reed and Jake then hit Justin with tubes. Jake offers Reed a handshake then turns on him.

Jake dives on all 3 opponents on the floor twice, then gives Justin a tope as well. Reed has a chair in Jake's throat and rams it into the post, then chairs him. Reed throws a chair at Justin and they trade forearms in the crowd. Tommy hits Jake with a sign and we go to the rare split screen to cover all the action.

Jake puts tubes in Tommy's neck then rams him into the post and Reed drops a barbed wire board on Justin. Reed hits Jake with carpet strips then trades tube shots with Tommy.Justin then sandwich shots two signs on both sides of Tommy's head. Tommy flurries with sign shots over Justin's headReed picks up a fan and rams his feet into Jake, then does the same to Justin.

Tommy climbs up a ladder outside and dives onto Reed and Justin. Jake climbs the top rope platform and dives on Justin but is fallaway slammed. Justin then exploders him. Justin picks up Jake and uses his legs as a weapon on the other opponents. Tommy hits him with a tube from behind and Justin just stares at him. Tommy tries to run but Reed trips him into glass. Justin then gorilla presses Jake onto opponents on the outside.

Justin goes for a tope and Reed smashes glass into his face. Tommy and Reed hit each other with bats with some kind of firecracker like explosives on them. They trade tube shots then battle with carpet strips and tubes. Reed hits a pepsi twist on Tommy for 2.

Reed then grabs a pile of tubes and slams them on Tommy, then drops tacks all over him. Tommy then comes back with an RKO on Reed on tubes. Tommy gets pop up punched by Reed then Jake top rope crossbodies Reed for 2. Reed double underhook piledrivers Jake for 2.

Lego's are brought out and Tommy piledriver's Justin for 2. Reed and Tommy trade shots then headbutt each other. Reed and Tommy go up to the platform and Reed pepsi plunges him off it to win the match.

I liked this one. It was violent, crazy and there was a ton of action as you would hope for. Not so much story or logic, but it's hard to do that with so many people involved. Justin Kyle also went missing for a long portion of this for some unknown reason.

Dramatic Dream Team 2/27/2022 - Ultimate Tag League 2022 the FINAL

Dramatic Dream Team 2/27/2022 - Ultimate Tag League 2022 the FINAL

I skipped the intergender match and the Ino match, which is sad since I like Ino.

Shuji Kondo and Toru Owashi vs Kazusada Higuchi and Soma Takao

Kondo and Higuchi trade shots early. Higuchi nodowa-otoshi's him down then lariats him. Soma rolls into a dropkick on Owashi. Soma hits some forearms on Owashi but goes down to a chop.

Owashi hits a big chop on Soma and kicks him in the back. Soma dropkicks Owashi off the 2nd rope and Higuchi running lariats then suplexes Owashi. Owashi and Higuchi trade chops. Owashi shoulders him down but then Higuchi hits him with a nice dropkick. Soma 2nd rope ddt's Kondo then superkicks him in the head. Soma top rope double stomps Kondo for 2.

Soma gets sandwich lariated and enzugiri'd by his opponents then takes a big chokeslam from Owashi. Kondo and Higuchi sumo battle then Soma gets thrown on a spear by Kondo and Higuchi gets chokeslammed. Kondo hits a big chokeslam on Soma for 2 then destroys him with a nasty lariat to win.

This was a little slower at first but really got good by the end when the bombs started getting thrown. Some great hoss stuff in the last part of this match which made it good.

Mao and Shunma Katsumata vs Chris Brookes and Masahiro Takanishi

Mao and Shunma attack at ring intros. They block punches with their title belts then take double dropkicks. Mao does a cartwheel elbow then helps Shunma chokebomb Masaya. Mao is on the apron and leaning over and Shunma is thrown onto him with both of their backs hitting. Brookes then topes both opponents.

Brookes hits a slingshot cutter then Shunma holds both of Masaya's arms and lands on them with his feet. Brookes double stomps Mao off the 2nd rope then shotgun dropkicks him. Chris takes a diving knee from the top from Mao then Chris chops both opponents. Mao does a rebound off the ropes into a tornado kick then him and Shunm double chokebomb Brookes. Shunma hits an air raid crash on Brookes and he goes for a top rope splash but Masaya throws Mao in there instead. Brookes then hits some kind of double underhook driver and wins it.

This was fast paced and not that long. Not bad at all.

Burning (Jun Akiyama and Tetsuya Endo) vs The 37KAMIINA (Yuki Ueno and Konosuke Takeshita)

Endo and KT trade armdrags to start then do a stand off. They chain wrestle and mat wrestle some. Jun and Ueno exchange forearms and Ueno goes down. Jun hits a big slam on him and sends him into the rails. He then traps his neck underneath the guard rail door then DDT's him inside.

Endo came clutches Ueno. Ueno tries to fight off Burning but takes a short piledriver and a top rope backdrop from Jun for 2. The beatdown on Ueno continues and he tries to do a springboard twisting crossbody, but Endo gutbusters him. Endo hits a nice dropkick and finally tags out.

KT gets in and hits a big flying lariat then DDT's Endo for 2. Akiyama hits a sliding knee for 2 on KT and they trade forearms. KT backdrops him and tags to Ueno. Ueno hits his vader bomb knees for 2 then near deadlift brainbusters him. Ueno hurricanrana's Endo then tope con hilo's both Burning members.

Ueno misses a double jump moonsault and Jun knees him in the chest. He then puts the grounded guillotine hold on him and lets him go. Jun hits some more knees to Ueno's chest then exploders him. Ueno leg lariats him. Endo gets in and hits a springboard forearm on KT for 2. He then puts him in the moss covered 3 handled family gradunza but KT hits the ropes.

KT hits a giant blue thunder bomb on Endo then superplexes him. Ueno then top rope crossbodies Endo out of nowhere.Endo headbutts Kt in the mouth then takes a major lariat. Endo flips out of a doomsday device move and Kt accidentally lariats Ueno. Endo then does a handspring backflip into a reverse DDT on KT. KT gets his knees up on a top rope Endo SSP.

KT and Jun each go for jumping knee's but KT wins. He hits a shotgun knee on Endo and they trade pin attempts. KT pumping knees him for 2 then does a neat chicken wing + cobra clutch submission for the win.

The beatdown on Ueno went too long and there wasn't a great story except for Burning mostly being in control. The action picked up in the latter parts of he match and almost made the wait for things to pick up worth it though. The finish was kind of random.

Akito, Yuji Hino and Yukio Naya vs DAMNATION (MJ Paul, Daisuke Sasaki and Minoru Fujita)

The fight starts at intros. Hino and Paul trade shoulders then Hino flying shoulders him and slaps his back. Sasaki sends Ito into the rails outside. Akito gets beat on for a little and drops Sasaki with forearms. Akito does a nice gutwrench on Paul and Paul hits some bolo punches on Hino. Hino then exploders Paul.

Sasaki runs into a Hino back elbow and begs for help then Hino starts hitting him with chops. Fujita tries to help then he starts getting chopped. Paul then wants some and doesn't budge on the chops initially, but gets backed up.

Naya hits a big kick to Paul's chest then he and Naya trade, Naya hits some big knees to the gut and takes a body block. Naya hit a big black hole slam then got a chair shot from Sasaki. Naya hits a nice running avalanche then Akito works on Sasaki's knee.

Akito takes a double spear then Paul splashes him off the top. Sasaki misses a top rope elbow and Akito works his knee. Fujita low blows Akita and Sasaki hits la mistica into a crossface on Akito for the win.

This was alright. It had a lot of similar spots from the Fukushima show. The Paul vs Hino and Naya sections were real good.

Sasaki throws the ref into the rails after. Mao stands on the entrance and Sasaki shakes it so he falls off.

DDT Ultimate Tag League 2022 Finals - DISASTER BOX (Naomi Yoshimura and HARASHIMA) vs The 37KAMIINA (Yuki Ueno and Konosuke Takeshita)

Ueno and Naomi trade forearms early. Ueno takes a huge back body drop from Naomi then KT leg lariats Naomi. Harashima goes for a springboard but gets double dropkicked, the Naomi and Harashima are plancha'd on.

Naomi electric chair drops Ueno and elbow drops him. Ueno clubs his chest and backdrops him for 2. Ueno hits a great dropkick on Naomi then KT hits a nice flying clothesline on Naomi. The two trade forearms in the corner then KT hits a bunch in a row on him.

Harashima rider kicks KT off the top then superplexes him for 2. Harashima drops him with chest kicks. Ueno and KT trade lariats then KT hits a great flying knee. Harashima nails KT with a falcon arrow then gorilla press gutbusters him. KT does a nice flip dive on Naomi then Ueno hits a long splash on Harashima. KT then follows with a shorter one.

Harashima takes a double team powerbomb and Ueno tries to top rope moonsault him but Harashima gets his knees up. Naomi hits a neat single arm suplex then chokeslams Ueno hard for 2. Harashima tries to jump off Naomi's back but Ueno crossbodies him off the 2nd rope. Ueno then hits a nice suplex for 2.

Ueno does a nice springboard hurricanrana on Naomi for 2. Ueno and Naomi trade forearms then Ueno takes a brutal hip throw. He then gets lariated for 2. Naomi takes a double jumping attack from Kamiina then Ueno hits a double jump moonsault for 2. Harashima poisonrana's a doomsday device attempt and Harashima hits a meteora on Ueno. Naomi then lariats Ueno for 2. Naomi then hits a stiff fireman's carry into a side slam for the win.

This was a good one with everyone going all out and hitting their big moves. We had a bunch of kickouts, the usual beautiful offense from Kamiina and some stiff shots. We had a bunch of nearfalls and they really didn't overdo it too much.

Overall thoughts: A pretty good DDT show capped off by a great main event. Once you get past the comedy stuff in DDT, they have a real skilled roster. The main is a must see match.

Dramatic Dream Team 2/23/2022 - Ultimate Tag League 2022 in Fukushima

Dramatic Dream Team 2/23/2022 - Ultimate Tag League 2022 in Fukushima

Kazusada Higuchi vs Yuki Ishida

Yuki refuses a clean break and forearms KH. They test strength and Yuki tries some forearms but is chopped down. KH crabs him and Yuki comes back with forearms. KH lariats him for 2. Yuki hits some forearms then a flying forearm. Yuki hits some splashes and a slam for 2.

KH drops him with chest chops and Yuki tries to push him sumo style but is thrown down. Yuki tries it again and tries some sumo slaps. Yuki tries some headbutts but KH wins that battle then powerslams him for 2. KH claws him over his knee and wins it.

This was just a long squash. The crowd couldn't cheer and wasn't too into it and it dragged with little happening. It's like they had a 20 minute match set up then just stopped 10 minutes in.

Chris Brookes vs Yukio Naya

Slow start here as they both force breaks then Naya drops him with a forearm. They trade shoulders then Chris gets shouldered down. They trade shots on the floor and Chris gets dropped off a forearm. Chris is then whipped into the post.

Naya kicks Chris hard in the back then Chris gives it back, then both do it again. Naya then running kicks him in the back. They trade forearms then Naya foot chokes him. Naya knees Brookes hard in the gut then forces him to rope break on a chinlock.

They trade chops and Naya ddt's him. Chris hits a chop and forearm combo then sentons him as he is bent over. Chris octopus stretches him. Naya hits a big back body drop then hiptosses him into an elbow. Chris dropkicks him hard in the corner then suplexes him.

They trade chops for forearms and both hit knees. Naya hits a big boot then a running knee for 2. The Naya hits a chokeslam for 2. Naya hits more knees then sidewalk slams him for 2. Chris then gets a surprise pin to win it.

This was a little and slow and with the crowd not being able to cheer, it was tough at times. It was a decent match though with both going back and forth with each other on strike trades.

Akito & Yuji Hino vs. DAMNATION T.A (Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul)

Hino and Paul try to shoulder each other then Hino decks him hard with a forearm/shoulder. Paul then gives it back.

Sasaki and Akito go at it then Akito is pulled out by Paul and sent into the post. Hino and Sasaki eye rake each other outside. Paul stands on Akito's neck. Sasaki has hit feet out so Paul can bang Akito's head into it, but Akito grabs the feet and dragon screws them. He then evades another 2v1 with another dragon screw on Sasaki.

Akito hits an impressive gutwrench suplex on Paul and tags out. Sasaki puts Hino's hands behind his back and tries to shoulder him but goes down hard. Sasaki wants to tag out but Paul just watches, then he eye rakes Hino and neckbreakers him. Hino and Paul trade forearms and chops. Paul bolo punches him then gets thrown for a big exploder.

Both tag out and Akito hits another dragon screw on Sasaki. Sasaki comes back with a chin breaker and a spear then Akito rolls him up and figure fours him. Paul breaks it up then Sasaki gets 2v1'd, with hino just slapping him in the back of the knee. Akito kneebreakers Sasaki then Sasaki dragon suplexes him. Paul splashes Akito in the corner and samoan drops him. Sasaki then top rope elbows him for 2 and turns it into a crossface. Akito works on Sasaki's knee then Sasaki taps Akito with a kneeling crossface.

I thought was a good match with Akito sticking to the knee work and the two big men hoss battling it out.

The 37KAMIINA (MAO, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Ueno) vs. Burning (Jun Akiyama, Tetsuya Endo & Yusuke Okada)

37Kamiina teases handshakes but then moves their hands away. Ueno shoulders down Okada and they trade forearms. Jun and Ueno mat wrestle. Mao and Endo doe a fun little flippy reversal and escape section. They both kip up at the same time then Mao rips off his shirt and dropkick him.

37Kamiina then triple dives their opponents. Mao fist drops Endo then Endo hits a big back body drop on Shunma. Shunma takes a bunch of slams from all three opponents and begs for mercy. He asks for help and his teammates just said to keep fighting. Shunma then takes triple boots in the corner. Endo ground sleepers Shunma and Mao tries to break it up but gets tossed out.

Shunma finally suplexes Okada and tries to tag out but Jun stops it. Jun bullies him and short piledrivers him for 2. Shunma finally gets a break and dropkicks him off the 2nd rope and tags out. Ueno vader bomb knees Jun then suplexes him for 2. Ueno and Jun trade forearms and Ueno goes for a hurricanrana but is powerbombed hard. Okada then top rope dropkicks Ueno and perfectplexes him for 2.

Okada flying forearms Ueno for 2 then Ueno hits a big dropkick on him. Mao slams Okada and split legged moonsaults him for 2. Okada double dropkicks Mao and Shunma for 2 and Endo double handspring back elbows Mao and Shunma. He then flying space tiger drops them.

Shunma springboard crossbodies Endo the springboard dropkicks him. Shunma grabs Endo's arms and double stomps him down then tries for a crossbody, but Endo gets his knees up. Endo and Shunma trade forearms and Endo takes some moves for 2. Endo goes to dragon suplex Shunma but just does a high german then Shunma is double powerbombed and high crabbed for 2. Endo then top rope SSP's Shunma for the win.

Good main event here with Shunma basically being the whipping boy before being beaten. No problems with this at all.

Overall thoughts: What I saw was good with the main being very good and the semi-main being surprisingly good.

WWE NXT Level Up 2/25/2022

WWE NXT Level Up 2/25/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/02/wwe-nxt-level-up-2182022.html

James Drake vs Xyon Quinn

Drake gets out of a tie-up and does a haka taunt at Xyon. Drake tries to crossbody him but Xyon shields himself with his forearms and JD goes down. JD then gets suplexed. JD goes outside and Xyon hits a nice punch on him. JD knocks him off the apron then Gibon takes a cheap shot on Xyon.

JD climbs on Xyon's back for a sleeper. Xyon hits some punches then headbutts him. Xyon corner clotheslines him then throws him off the top when he goes up there. Gibson gets on the apron to distract Xyon and JD rolls him up with the tights for the win. Xyon then death valley drivers Gibson to end the segment.

Lame ending but this was okay with the heel being a heel and Xyon looking okay as the big tough guy.

Elektra Lopez vs Sarray

Lopez is out there with LdF. Sarray tries to do some springboard armdrag off the 2nd rope but botches it. Lopez pulls her by the hair and slams her. She then picks her up like a wheelbarrow and drops her. Lopez stretches her and there's a sloppy roll-up.

Sarray dropkicks her from the 2nd rope and double stomps her gut. Sarray then double stomps her from the 2nd rope and tries to dropkick her through the ropes. Lopez moves and Joaquin Wilde gets it instead. Lopez then picks her up like a backbreaker and turns and drops her to the side for the win.

This was not good at all with Sarray looking bad and Lopez looking absolutely clueless out there. Lopez is so bad at this point that she isn't even ready for developmental.

Joe Gacy and Harland vs Ikemen Jiro and KUSHIDA

Kushida wrestles and rides him on the mat. Joe wants a hug but Jiro moves and gets armdragged. Jiro then headscissors him and Gacy evades a jacket punch. Joe goes for another hug and Jiro rolls him up then hits some jacket punches.

Harland gets in and Jiro hits some kicks then is splashed hard in the corner. Harland slams Jiro's head off the mat. Harland picks him up and drives him into the corner then stretches him over the top rope. Joe tries to stop him then Harland pounds on him in the corner hard.

Harland drags him byt the foot to his corner and tags in Joe. Joe is thrown into the corner but he handstands and ddt's him for 2. Jiro hot tags Kushida and he comes off the top then does a handspring back elbow. Kushida rolls Joe around the ring for 2. Kushida tries a handspring but just kind of falls over then octopus stretches Joe. There's a sloppy break-up of that move and Joe gets Harland out of the ring.

Joe takes a double hiptoss into a double dropkick. Jiro tries to run the ropes but stops when he sees Harland then Joe hits a handspring lariat. Harland hits a big splash on Jiro and wins it.

This got a little messy here for unknown reasons but Harland looked good as the crazy monster.

Overall thoughts: 3 short matches here. The vets were botching more than the rookies were. Harland looked good and Xyon/Drake was good. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Game Changer Wrestling 2/25/2022 - Welcome To Heartbreak

Game Changer Wrestling 2/25/2022 - Welcome To Heartbreak

Here's what I saw:

The Briscoe Brothers vs Jacob Fatu and Juicy Finau

Mark hits some nice chops and did a huge bump for a Fatu palm strike. Jay did a nice hurricanrana on Fatu and Mark got samoan dropped through a chair. Fatu hit his handspring moonsault then Finau hit a big splash. Mark hit a nice dropkick on Fatu. Mark then jumped off a chair, over the top and tope con hilo'd Juice, going into the 2nd row.

Mark set up a door in the corner and threw a chair at Fatu. Jay then got overhead suplexed into the door. Fatu then did a pop-up samoan drop and Finau senton'd Mark. Fatu then top rope swanton'd Jay for 2.

Mark was thrown into the seats then Fatu tope'd Jay into the seats. Jay dove on Juicy and broke a chair then Fatu dove on Mark and broke a chair. Juicy Finau got into it with Starboy Charlie who was on crutches, then he dove on them off the stage.

Mark slammed the door over Finau's head. The door got put on a chair and Mark elbowed Finau through it to win.

It ran a little longer than it should have but this was a wild brawl that I really liked. Tons of dives here and various chair shots in front of a hot crowd.

The Briscoes got on the mic after and told the H8 Club they wanted a rematch.

Blake Christian vs. Nick Wayne

This went on forever. I started the review and started making a sandwich when it was clear I wouldn't like this, then actually finished the sandwich before this ended. This went something like 20 minutes and was as indy as it gets with botches, tons of big moves and endless kickouts. They also used a door here too for good measure.

Ninja Mack vs Mike Bailey

They do a karate bow and then do karate stances at each other. They both counter their karate attacks and Ninja lariats him over the top. Both go over and both land on their feet, then kick each other at the same time.

They both do flying kicks at each other and Ninja gets kicked and lands hard. Mike goes into the wall then drops double knees on Ninja's back. Mike hits a flurry of kicks in the corner. Ninja goes up top and falls back only to hit a kick then he gets axe kicked. They both miss running SSP's and Mike does a corkscrew flip. Mack then does a capoeira move into a tornillo.

Ninja misses a 450 then tope's him. Mike then gives him one back. Mike is on the apron and Ninja handsprings into the ropes to knock him over, then does some flips into a backflip over the top rope onto him. Mack climbs a ladder and goes up on a very steep ledge.

Mike goes up and joins him. They kick each other up high on the ledge then Mack goes through a door with a can underneath. Of course that doesn't end the match and they flip off each other in the ring. Mike then buzzsaw kicks him for 2. Mike hits a hard superkick to the face then Ninja Mack just kips up and kicks him. He then goes up top and gets caught on Mike's shoulders, then hit with a version of the one winged angel for the match.

The match started off cool and they dangerously went up top. Mack got thrown off it but of course that couldn't be the finish. He then popped up and did a flip after like he was fine. This was as indy as it gets and it's a shame.

Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Homicide

Wagner takes off the mask and teases throwing it to the crowd but then just gives it to the ref. Doc does some poses and gives Homicide the finger. Homicide then does the same to him. They both strut and do poses. Doc armdrags him then they both stand off.

Doc dropkicks him in the head and throws him into chairs. They trade shots and go into the stands. Doc hits him with a crutch. They go back in the ring and Doc puts a chair in Homicide's crotch then chairs it. Doc hits a chair shot then hits la escalera. Doc then surfboards him but gets explodered.

Homicide then hits the top cone hilo through the ropes. They trade chops and Homicide ddt's him for 2. Homicide misses a top rope headbutt and gets dropkicked. Doc then cutters him off the top for 2. Homicide ended up spearing a chair in the corner then got TTD for the Dr. Wagner Jr. win.

The first half was good (though a little too much hotdogging) but both guys kind of slowed down for the 2nd half and it brought it down a little.

Sean Waltman and Joey Janela vs Matt Cardona and Bryan Myers

I'm a big Walman fan. Joey hits a hard back elbow on Myers then back body drops Matt. Pac hits a backdrop on Matt then legdrops him. Matt evades a bronco buster but Pac flip dives him. Pac and Joey hit a double elbow on Matt. Myers hits Pac when he runs the ropes and Pac decks him, then gets nailed by Matt.

Matt and Bryan then split Pac's legs. Matt's wife Chelsea Green chokes Pac on the outside and Matt tells Pac to suck it. Pac makes the hot tag and Joey crossbodies off the top rope. Joey then death valley drivers Myers.

Joey hits a rebound german on Myers then lariats him over. Chelsea gets right in the ring and canadian destroyers Joey while the ref isn't looking....and of course he kicks out of Bryan's pin. Matt hits the broski boot on Joey for 2.

Ryder gets in and hits hard boots on Pac and Joey to put them down. Joey hits a sunset flip powerbomb from the top on Myers. Pac comes in and hits some spin kicks then Matt tries for a hurricanrana but is powerbombed down. Pac then hits the bronco buster on Matt and tries to do it on Bryan, but gets hit in the crotch. The two split off in pairs and do bad Frye/Takayama spots.

Matt misses a 2nd rope dropkick and gets a michinoku driver. Matt zigzags Joey over the top rope then a door is brought in. Matt accidentally hits his leg drop on Bryan through the door then Joey topes Matt. Pac hits a facebuster then Joey top rope elbows Matt for....another 2.

Matt chairs his opponents. Joey is put Bryan's shoulders then Matt blockbusters Joey off of them. Pac hits a facebuster off the top through a door and wins it.

This went way too long and they did too much. It just never ended for no real reason. If they cut this about half way through, it would have been an alright match, but it just went on and on. I didn't like the canadian destroyer being used as a mid-match move either.

Overall thoughts: They did too much and went too long in almost every match I saw. These matches would have been so much better if they did about half of what they did.

AEW Rampage 2/25/2022

AEW Rampage 2/25/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/02/aew-rampage-2182022.html

AEW TNT Title - Sammy Guevara (c) vs Andrade El Idolo

No entrances here and the match starts immediately. They both do poses laying on the ropes. Sammy flips him off. He later backflips over him, dropkicks him and takes him outside. Andrade gets in and runs into Sammy for a spanish fly. They fight up top and Sammy goes up on top for a double springboard but gets pushed into the rail on the floor.

During the PiP break, Sammy is suplexed on the ramp. We return and Sammy hits a jumping knee. Andrade goes for a corner knee but ends up on the floor. Sammy then hits a wild tornillo and takes an awful landing. Andrade moves on a 450 and face kicks him. He then goes inside to outside and ddt's Sammy over the middle rope onto the apron. Andrade goes up top and takes an enzugiri then Sammy spanish flies him off the top.

They trade punches on their knees. A turnbuckle pad is taken off then Sammy is hiptossed into another buckle. Andrade's foot is on the rope on a pin attempt and the announcers argue whether Matt Hardy pushed it off or tried to push it more on. Sammy hits a superkick. They fight up top but Sammy drops down and legsweeps Andrade, making his head hit off the exposed steel. Sammy then hits his double springboard cutter and wins it.

They did too much here as usual and I hate when a spanish fly is not used as part of a finish. They did cool stuff, but there wasn't much logic or story to those spots.

Sammy gets nailed by Matt Hardy after then Darby Allin topes Matt super hard to stop him. Isaiah Kassidy gets trapped between Sting and Darby, then he gets punched by Sting and coffin dropped by Darby.

QT Marshall comes out complaining of disrespect. He took credit for Hook's succeess and said Hook needs to come and thank him. He threatened him then Hook came out. QT sent some students to attack him and they were all beaten up. One of the students declined to do so then Hook left.

Ethan Page, Sky and Dan Lambert did an interview. Dan said he wanted Sky to get a title shot then said he was told Sky could qualify for it. Sky didn't like it since he won the face of the revolution ladder match next week. He promised he would get sky a title shot.

Nick Comoroto vs Wardlow

No intros for this. Nick gutwrenches him to start then Wardlow kips up. Wardlow german's him then belly to belly's him. Nick goes for a corner splash and is thrown over the top. We then go to PiP break. Wardlow goes for a powerbomb but is driven back first into the steps.

They trade shots and Wardlow takes him down. They ground and pound each other then Nick hits a slam and an big elbow drop. Nick hits a big suplex. We return from break and Nick gorilla presses him with one hand, but Wardlow gets out and chokeslams him. Wardlow hits a powerbomb after he originally gets reversed then he hits 3 more for the win.

Aaron Solow tried to dive on Ardlow after but got caught. Spears hit Solow with a chair and accidentally hit Wardlow with it some. Shawn Spears said the powerbomb sympathy thing "wasn't getting over". He said Wardlow needs to get back to basics and says no more powerbombs. He then hugs him and says he has so much potential.

This was a good hoss fight and it was a shame it got cut off some by the break. It's also a shame that this was done randomly on Dynamite instead of some big match on a show.

Serena Deeb vs Kayla Sparks

This is Deeb's 5 minute challenge. She nails her with a lariat to start and hit some euro uppercuts. Deeb puts her in a gori special backbreaker over the top buckle, then wrenches on Kayla's neck as she is stuck there. Deeb punishes her leg and beats her with a tequila sunrise in a short squash.

Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker are doing a contract signing. Rosa says the people want a better champ and Britt says Rosa is only relevant when Britt is involved. Britt says she gained more from their No DQ match than Rosa did. She says Rosa will never be a pillar of AEW like she is and says she will never be the face of AEW. Britt says Rosa loves everything about her but hates herself because she will never be her. Britt signs the contract and Rosa dives over the table to nail her. Jamie Hayter then hits her and Mercedes Martinez hits Rebel outside.

Mercedes grabs Jamie by the hair and puts her through the table.

I liked this segment but Rosa did kind of come off a little bad here as everything Britt said was 100% correct and for jumping her for no reason.

Bowens and Cassidy did side by side promos. Caster said Bowens can't be outwrestled and said Cassidy isn't the face of the revolution, but the face of Ellen DeGeneres. Bowens said everyone loves the Acclaimed.

Face of the Revolution Ladder Match – Qualifying Match: Orange Cassidy vs. Anthony Bowens

Max Caster's rap was probably the lamest one he has ever done. OC then got the mic and then put the mic near his feet as he slow kicked Max.

Bowens took a dropkick to start, then OC said "word to your mother", then tope'd him. OC went for a hurricanrana and was smacked face first on the apron from the floor.

We went to a long PiP break and returned. OC did the Acclaimed handshake with Bowens then OC hit a crossbody. Max tripped OC and Bowens superkicked him. Bowens spun OC in circles and did a reverse buckingham drop.

OC hit a snap michinoku driver. OC did a nice corkscrew dive to the outside then came off the top and ddt'd Bowens. OC then did a rotation DDT for 2. Max threw the boombox in and Bowens rolled up OC. Max was going to attack OC on the outside then Danhausen snuck up on him. OC hit an orange punch on him then Bowens to win it.

There was just too much going on here with interference, Danhausen and a long commercial.

Overall thoughts: I liked the Comorto/Wardlow match and Britt was very good but she was too good for being a heel.

GLEAT 2/22/2022 - GLEAT G PROWRESTLING Ver. 18

GLEAT 2/22/2022 - GLEAT G PROWRESTLING Ver. 18
GLEAT 2022年2月22日後楽園ホール「G PROWRESTLING Ver.18」

Hey it's GLEAT. I've gotten close to doing it before, just other things came up and it didn't happen.

G-REX Title First Champion Decision Tournament Semi Final Match - T-Hawk vs. El Lindaman

They shoulder battle early and Linda hits a nice hiptoss and throw. Hawk hits some chops then takes a huge back rolling bump for a 2nd rope dropkick. Hawk hits some spinning chops and plants him with the DDT. Linda jumps up and gets a hard sitout spinebuster down.

Hawk cravate's him and hits another planting DDT. He then rolls him backwards making him bump and hits a neat stf but Linda hits the ropes. Hawks pops him super hard with a punch then Linda hits a nice dropkick. Linda hits a nice forearm then throws him hard on an exploder. Hawk gets caught on the 2nd rope and Linda neckbreakers him while he hangs.

Linda gets legrolled again and gets caught on a hurricanrana and takes one of the nastiest sounding powerbombs in the history of wrestling. Hawk then hits a nasty reverse slam (maybe the best attempt at this move I've ever seen) but Linda no sells and release germans him. Linda goes up for a splash off the top and gets stiffed so hard when Hawk gets his feet up.

Hawk goes for a 2nd rope splash mountain but Linda reverses it with a hurricanrana. Linda hits a super stiff forearm then takes an awful sounding chop. He takes more chops then release german's Hawk on his head. Linda takes a running knee and a super high splash mountain for 2. Linda comes back with a hurricanrana into a triangle but Hawk gets out. Linda hits a nice tiger suplex and won it.

The selling could have been a lot better here and they did too much for an opener but this was one of the stiffest matches I've ever seen. This was just brutal and is a must see match. Everything they did looked so good here.

G-REX Title First Champion Decision Tournament Semi Final Match - Takanori Ito vs. Hayato Tamura

Tamura has bright red hair and gold tights on which is quite the look. They rush each other at the bell and Tamura lariats him hard. They collide super hard in ring and Ito hits a big knee to the gut.

Tamura hit a shoulder off the top and threw Ito into the post. Tamura is on the apron and Ito kicks him in the leg from the floor, knocking him down. Tamura gets thrown into the metal rails then Ito does a hard running PK.

Ito slaps Tamura then chest kicks him. Tamura asks for more and they trade hard chops for kicks. Ito then stiffs him with a hard knee to the chest. Ito has him in a leg lock and they chop each other.

They trade more shots then Tamura lariats him over the top and goes with him. Tamura sliding lariats him for 2 then hits a stiff twisting neckbreaker. They trade lariats for kicks in the opposite corners then Tamura takes a big overhead belly to belly. Tamura hits a big sitout spinebuster for 2.

They fight up top and Tamura headbutts him then Ito hits a great spinning heel kick while he's up there. Ito then 2nd rope fallaway slams him but Tamura doesn't sell it. Tamura then gets saito suplexed but just hits a jackhammer instead of selling. They butt heads and trade forearms and hit some very stiff ones. they hit strike combos on each other and Ito hits a hard spin kick to the head while Tamura is on his knees.

Ito then hits a great german suplex for 2. Ito no sells a death valley driver then gets lariated hard. Tamura then hits a hard running lariat for another close 2. Tamura then wins it with a running muscle drop.

The selling was an issue here but they were very stiff and the action was fast. These two matched up real well together and stuff like this is the hard hitting wrestling that people watch puroresu for.

Keiichi Sato, TiiiDA & Yu Iizuka vs. Jun Tonsho, Leo Isaka & Soma Watanabe

I've only ever seen Soma before here, but I know of Iizuka and Isaka.

Jun and Sato start. Soma and Yu then go at it and Yu running kicks him in the chest. Tida flips over Lei then runs right into him with a forearm. Tida puts his knees on the top rope and flips onto Leo.

Yu and Leo trade forearms and Leo stiff him hard with a spin kick in the face. Jun and Soma double elbow Yu in the corner then both jump off each others backs to attack him. Soma does a cool flying forearm to a seated Yu then Leo does a nice slingshot senton on him.

Yu hits a nice dropkick on Leo then Sato knocks everyone off the apron with shoulders. Sato leg lariats Leo then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Tida and Soma trade fast forearms and Soma goes for a springboard twisting move but Tida dropkicks him in mid-air.

Soma takes high kicks, a backdrop, a double stomp, a PK and an asai moonsault for 2. Jun hits a fast la mistica on Tida then Soma does a great 2nd rope skytwister press on Tida for 2. Leo and Jun hit stereo hurricanrana's then Jun does a triangle moonsault to the outside. Leo then does a moonsault to the outside. Soma gorilla press gutbusters Tida then 450's him for the win.

This was good. The work was very fast paced and stiff.

DASH Chisako & Yurika Oka vs. Michiko Miyagi & Yukari Hosokawa

Miyagi is Andras Miyagi and she looks very different dressed normally. Yukari calls out Dash and they grab each other by the hair. Yukari rushes her with a dropkick then Dash nails her hard with a forearm. She slaps her around then running shoulders her hard and running dropkicks her hard.

Dash hits some great gut kicks then facebusters her for 2. Oka comes in and hits some fast dropkicks then she and Yukari trade chest forearms. Yukari hits a stiff dropkick and tags out. Miyagi slams around Oka and suplexes her. Oka does a nice headscissors.

Miyagi and Dash trade stiff facekicks and Miyagi wins that one. Dash hits some hard headbutts and stiffs her with a big forearm. She then hits a hard basement dropkick. Miyagi comes back with a dropkick and a backdrop and tags out.

Yukari hits some dropkicks on Dash then some double stomps, including a 2nd rope stomp. Yukari armbars her and Dash hits the ropes. Dash hits a nice dropkick on her then Oka hits some crossbodies. Oka botches a 2nd rope splash then her and Yukari botch a backslide. Yukari basically hits a shoot bodyslam on her. They fight up top and Yukari ends up on Oka's shoulders for a roll into a pin for 2. Miyagi hits a super high missile dropkick on Oka then Yukari double stomps Oka from the top then Dash double stomps Yukari.

Yukari and Oka trade more forearms then Oka fisherman's busters her and they botch a pin attempt. Dash hits a hard dropkick on Miyagi and Oka fisherman suplexes Yukari for 2. Oka then wins it with a splash from the top.

It had a lot of sloppiness in the 2nd half but two of the girls are young wrestlers and that's what happens. It was still a good effort though as the match was very fast paced and stiff.

Yukari and Oka get into it with forearms after then yukari goes after Dash.

NEXTREAM (Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO) vs. STRONGHEARTS (Issei Onitsuka & Shigehiro Irie)

Atsuki and Rising are from All Japan and technically, Irie might as well be too. Irie shoulders down Atsuki and Atsuki comes back with a dropkick. Rising and Issei trade chops. Rising springboard dropkicks him. They trade forearms and Issei gets double hiptossed then double dropkicked.

Issei hits a big spear on Atsuki at 5 minutes. Irie piledrivers Irie onto Atsuki's gut. Atsuki sits on the apron with his back facing the ring and Irie crossbodies him through the ropes. Issei then does a top rope elbow onto his opponents who were standing.

Atsuki hits a nice tornado kick then Rising springboard dropkciks Irie for 2. Irie hits a nice black hole slam on Rising then Issei elbows Rising off the 2nd rope. Irie cannonballs Rising in the corner then Issei hits a uranage on Rising for 2. Atsuki top rope dropkicks Issei.

Issei takes superkicks from both opponents then Rising swantons Issei for 2. Irie chest headbutts Atsuki but Atsuki handspring spin kicks him then moonsaults him from the 2nd post rung. Issei then hits a hurricanrana out of nowhere on Rising and wins it.

That wasn't that great. They did some nice moves and all but the finish was out of nowhere and there wasn't much logic. I also thought it ran a little longer than needed.

G-REX Title First Champion Decision Tournament Final Match  - El Lindaman vs. Hayato Tamura

Linda dropkicks him to start then does a great tope con hilo. Linda then hits a nice top rope dropkick and a top rope splash for 2. Linda blocks HT's lariat with a fujiwara armbar, then Linda takes a hard floor bump off of a back body drop.

Things slow down as HT takes control over Linda with stomps and a sleeper. HT the spinning sleepers him. Linda lifts him and hits a waterwheel drop at 5 minutes. HT superplexes him. Linda hits a release exploder and takes a saito suplex. HT hits some hard forearms against the ropes then Linda fires back.

They really go after each other with them and Linda takes a sit down choke bomb. HT then nails him super hard with a lariat. HT hits a jackhammer for 2 and Linda turns it into an armbar. HT ends up powerbombing out of it.

They trade forearms and HT hits two stiff lariats for 2. HT hits a jackhammer. Linda goes under his legs and gets behind him for a german, then HT german's him. HT sleepers him then Linda goes up the buckles and falls backwards to get him off. Linda then hits a deadlift german and and another one for 2. Linda then hits a high tiger suplex for the win.

This was good but it was the last match on the show and it was just not going to top the first two matches. That's the danger of doing too much early - it's harder for the later matches compare. This was stiff and had some cool stuff in it but it's just hard when the opener is one of the stiffest matches in history.

Overall thoughts:
A very good show. It peaked in the first match and slowly turned down a little but it was fast paced strong style wrestling the whole way through. Easily one of the best shows so far in 2022.

PURE-J 2/20/2022

PURE-J 2/20/2022

AKARI vs KAZUKI

Leon is out there to hit the two with a fan when they do something.

Akari armdrags Kazuki down and basement dropkicks her, then is hit with the fan after cheering. Kazuki double reverse armbars her then gets in the hit by Leon. Kazuki hits a big slam and drops double knees on her for 2. Akari chokes her with her own arms while sitting on the top then shotgun dropkicks her. Akari cheers and gets hit by Leon.

Kazuki teaches Akari a cheer and gets hit by Leon. She does it again and Akari does it with her then rolls her up and dropkicks her. Kazuki tries to backdrop her but gets hit and Akari rolling kneebars her. Kazuki vader bomb knees her and is tripped on a pin attempt. They trade more pin attempts and Kazuki gets hit on the head. Akari hits a lariat for 2.

They trade knees and argue wiht Leon. Leon chases around Akari and Akari hides behind Kazuki. She gets hit over the head by Leon and Kazuki rolls her up for the win.

This was mostly all comedy and without knowing the language, it was a lot less amusing.

Momo Tani vs Crea

Momo puts her in a grounded guillotine and then they trade mounted shots. They hit som nice chest forearms and Crea shoulders her down. Crea puts her in the indian deathlock then foot chokes her over the ropes. Crea ties her up in the ropes and dropkicks her in the back.

Momo does a half heavenly lock then chokes her with her foot more. Momo drops double knees on her then Crea hits machine gun chops. Momo drops more knees on Crea's back and they trade hard chest forearms. Crea then kicks her in the chest for 2.

Momo drops more double knees and more shots are traded. Crea hits a top rope dropkick for 2 then misses another one. Momo running knees her in the head then drops more knees on her. Crea kneebreakers her over her knee then ankle locks her.

They both go down and then trade pinfall attempts. Momo double knees her through the ropes then knee drops her for 2. Momo drops double knees off the 2nd rope on her and wins it.

This was alright with a lot of knees dropped. I liked the early parts of this more than the last part. These two worked pretty well together and their styles match-up nicely. I could see them doing a really strong match someday if they get enough time.

Chie Ozora and Leon vs Hanako Nakamori and Rydeen Hagane

Chie flurries elbows on Rydeen to start then is body blocked. Rydeen splashes her then gets monkey flipped. Rydeen then takes a double team from both and slams Chie. Hanako hits Chie with some kicks and tries to run up the buckles but is pulled back down. Chie then wlaks the top rope and armdrags her.

Hanako and Rydeen double clothesline Chie then both drop splashes on her. Chie rolls up Hanako and double stomps her and tags out. Leon traps both opponents in the corner and spears them then butterfly suplexes Hanako for 2.

Rydeen slams Leon then camel clutches her. Rydeen stunguns Chie on the ropes then splashes her against the ropes. She then puts her in a high crab. Chie sits on Rydeen's back for a double armbar and Leon octopus stretches Hanako.

Leon runs up the ropes to bulldog Rydeen then is spun around into a backbreaker. Rydeen puts Leon on the buckles then splashes her back. She tries for a backbreaker but gets rolled up then hipthrows Leon.

Hanako leg sweeps Leon while Rydeen bulldogs her and they get a 2 count. Hanako then takes a tilt-a-whil backbreaker. Leon and Hanako trade shots and Leon flurries her with hard forearms. They block each other kicks then Leon criss crosses her with a spear. Chie gets back in and hits some shoulders on Hanako including a top rope shoulder. Leon helps Chie flip off the top onto Hanako. Chie goes up again and is samoan dropped by rydeen then top rope leg dropped by Hanako for 2.

Hanako walks into a Leon spin kick then is rolled up by Chie for 2. Hanako gets speared by Leon then Chie perfectplexes her for 2. Chie tries more roll-up attempts then takes a big lariat from Rydeen. Hanako then kicks Chie in the face for 2. Hanako high kicks her and Leon breaks it up for 2. Leon gets a high kick then Chie gets a shining high kick for the Hanako and Rydeen win.

This wasn't a bad main event. A little too many kickouts here but the finishing stretch was nice. I thought they did a good job putting Chie over as equal but I would have liked more Leon and Hanako sections and I thought they could have done more of Chie getting beaten up and Leon making the hot tag in.

Overall thoughts: The comedy match wasn't good but the other two matches were solid matches. I think Momo and Crea have a real good one in them one of these days.
