Dramatic Dream Team 2/6/2022- Ultimate Tag League in Numazu

I skipped a couple of the matches here. The main was Mao doing some goofy comedy thing, and the "semi-main" was a 22 minute Mad Paulie match which looked to be held at a snail's pace.

Kazusada Higuchi vs Toi Kojima

They trade chops early then Toi is put in the boston crab. They trade more chops and Higuchi slams him. More chops from Toi then Toi gets put down with a double chop. Toi goes for a crossbody from the 2nd rope but gets caught then Toi does a springboard chest kick from the 2nd rope.

More chops are exchanged and Higuchi gets another kick to the chest. Toi hits a crossbody from the top for 2 then takes a lariat and a slam for 2. Toi tries some roll-ups and runs into the claw, which Higuchi wins with.

It was a pretty simple big man vs little man match, but nothing too special in front of a crowd that couldn't cheer.

Akito and Hideki Okatani vs Toru Owashi and Yuki Ishida

Oka knocks over Owashi with a shoulder and falls over trying to slam him. Ishida gets slammed by Oka then Akito fist drops him.  Akito takes sumo slaps from Ishida then gets flying shoulder tackled. Akito suplexes Owashi for 2. then Owashi boots him in the face.

Owashi takes a double shoulder then Owashi and Ishida do sumo poses over him. Ishida and Owashi screw around and Oka dropkicks them for it. Oka then flying lariats Ishida for 2.

Oka hits a bulldog/lariat combo and trades forearms with Ishida. Ishida then pushes him over and suplexes him. Oka flapjacks Ishida then hits a nice northern lights suplex for 2. Oka flying knee drops Ishida from the top to win.

I didn't really like the screwing around but it was alright for what it was otherwise. Nothing too special though for a 9 minute match.

Ultimate Tag League 2022 Block A Match - Yuji Hino and Yukio Naya vs Kazuki Hirata and Shuji Kondo

Naya wants a test of strength early but Kondo nails him in the gut. Kondo then gets knocked over with a shoulder. Hirata is scared to death of fighting Hino and drops down and covers up when Hino tries to hit him. Then does it again to avoid a chop but just gets stomped on instead.

Naya slams him and drops the elbow on him but Kondo breaks it up. The hosses slam Hirata and tag each other out. Naya splashes him in the corner and Hino checks Hirata for any sign of life. When he doesn't respond, he pins him for a 2 count. Hirata is in the corner and ducks a chop, causing Hino to chop his partnert instead. Hirata then rolls out of a senton and tags out.

Kondo hits a big spear on Hino and they lariat battle. They have a fun little lariat battle. Naya hits a nice face kick on Hirata for 2 then hits big knees on him. Naya ddt's him for 2.

Hirata comes back with a dropkick then goes up top. He gets superplexed. Kondo gets explodered by Hino and hirata dropkicks Hino out. Hirata tries to hit shots on Naya, who isn't bothered much by it then gets a big face kick for it. Naya goes for a choke slam and gets rolled up for 2. Naya then hits a hard saito suplex for the win.

This was a good match. I liked Hirata being scared of the big guys and trying to work around it and I liked the usual big man vs little man storyline here.

The 37KAMIINA (Konosuke Takeshita, MAO, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Ueno) vs. Burning (Jun Akiyama, Tetsuya Endo, Yusuke Okada & Yuya Koroku)

They have a musician playing the Burning theme which is cool.

Jun tries some pin attempts on Ueno early but can't keep him down. Yuya and Shunma trade forearms and Yuya downs him. Okada slams Shunma on the floor. Jun and Okada argue about it and Jun kicks him. Shunma goes up against Jun and gets an eye poke then a short piledriver. Shunma gets stomped in the corner by Yuya but changes things up with a bodyslam on him. Kamiina then clears off their opponents and does corner moves onto Yuya. Mao then arabian moonsaults Yuya for 2.

Ueno hits a super high dropkick on Yuya and everyone goes at it for a minute. Shunma kind of deadlift slams Yuya which gets a pop from his team. Yuya gets put in the camel clutch and  Shunma runs the ropes to dropkick him. Yuya hits a big running forearm on Takeshita and tags to Endo.

Endo takes control over Kamiin as a whole and sunset flips Takeshita into a moss covered three handed family gradunza. Takeshita hits a big running knee on Endo and then trades forearms with him. Endo goes for a handspring back elbow but gets stopped then flips for a lariat. Shunma then splashes him from the top for 2.

Endo hits a big german on Shunma then Okada dropkicks Shunma from the top. Shunma holds Okada's hands while on top then meteora's him. Okada fights him with forearms then dropkicks him. Shunma gets ligerbombed then splashed from the top by Okada for 2. Okada gets back drop drivered on his head but doesn't sell it, then hits a big clothesline on Shunma.

Yuya hits an STO variation on Mao thn takes a double stunner. Yuya comes back with a big backdrop on Mao. Yuya takes a stiff knee from Takeshita on a pin attempt then trades forearms with Mao. Yuya takes a double sky high then takes a powerbomb/blockbuster combo for the 37Kamiina win.

This was longer than it needed to be at 22:54 and the crowd not being able to cheer hurt it. The match was okay and all, just it dragged and I think Yuya and Shunma took way too much abuse. Jun and Ueno also barely got in there.
