WWE Smackdown 10/31/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwe-smackdown-10242025.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/11/wwe-smackdown-1172025.html

We are in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Tiffany Stratton comes out. She says to cut the music and is upset. She says she has a bone to pick with Jade Cargill and wants her right here and right now. Nick Aldis comes out and asks her to think this through. Nick talks about her totally not being cleared. Tiff doesn't care and tells Jade to come out.

Jade Cargill comes out and Nick calls for security to come out. Jade says she wasn't gonna do anything. She says she wants the title. She says Tiff's time is up tomorrow. Tiff goes after her but security stops it.

We get a video on Ilja Dragunov. He says difficulties show but men are. Ilja says they walk through hell. He says suffering is the true test of life.

R-Truth is dressed up as Santa and tries to give The Motor City Machine Guns candy. He thinks it's Christmas and they try to correct him. Solo Sikoa comes in and makes fun of both of them. He said he heard The Guns talking trash about his family. Solo says his family is next in line for a tag title shot. Sabin says they should fight for it. Solo says he will talk to Aldis and says he wants to show how much has changed in a year.

WWE United States Title - Ilja Dragunov (c) vs Nathan Frazer

This is an open challenge. Fraxiom comes out for Nathan Frazer to accept it. Tomasso Ciampa comes out with him and says no. He calls NF a nerd. NF hits him and Ciampa pushes him. Ilja says NF was here first and says when it comes to the US Title, there's no reward for jack@sses

NF flying knees Ilja and chops him in the corner. Ilja chops him down. NF boots him out of the corner and spinning enzugiri's him out. NF topes him. Ilja spinning chops him inside. Ilja hits knees on him while he's down. NF's chopped in the corner.

Ilja is stunnered over the top rope. Ilja facekicks NF off the apron. Ilja germans him on the floor. We go to break and return. Ilja hits headbutts and chops on NF. Ilja has some blood on his head and hits germans. NF asai moonsaults into a reverse ddt. NF running ssp's him for 2. They trade forearms. NF superkicks him. Ilja spinning chops him then does a bakcdrop for 2.

NF superkicks him and is enzugiri'd. Ilja knees him hard in the chest. NF springboards into a lariat. Ilja misses a top rope senton. NF hits a top rope splash for 2. We go to break and return. Ilja hits downward elbows on NF. NF enzugiri's him while he's up top. NF 2nd rope hurricanrana's him. NF tope con hilos him. NF dropkicks him into the steps. NF hits a to prope phoenix splash for 2. NF pounds on Ilja and slaps him. NF is chopped on the top rope. Ilja hits a deadly and horrifle looking german on NF from the 2nd rope. They continue to fight.

Ilja hit a nasty powerbomb then h-bomb's and pins him.

Thoughts: Frazer is lucky to be alive after the botched 2nd rope german. And Ilja powerbombing him after was just totally dangerous and stupid. These two really beat the crap out of each other here and had a rapid fire match.

NF is in the aisle and Tomasso Ciampa runs down and nails him from behind. We go to break and return. During the break, all 3 fought then Gargano and Axiom joined in. They all then fight in the back. Ilja asks what is going on here and says to stop this. Tama Tonga grabs Ilja's belt. Ilja growls at him and Tama gives him the belt back.

Carmelo Hayes vs Kit Wilson

Kit hits shots on Melo to start. Melo punches and chops back. Kit flying back elbows him then flying euros him in the corner. Kit straightjacket chokes Melo and stomps him. Kit does a nasty twisting ddt.

Kit hits shots to the gut. Melo hits punches. Melo 2nd rope springboard twisting lariats him. Melo suplex lifts him into a cutter for 2. Melo tope con hilos him. The Miz comes out and sends Melo into the post. Kit kits rope twisting elbow drops Melo for a close 2. Kit runs at Melo and is hit with a jumping codebreaker. Melo wins.

Thoughts: Kit's twisting ddt looked nasty here and he had a good showing in a rare SD singles match for him. The match was fine for what it was.

Melo is hit with a skull crushing finale by Miz after. Miz says it's not over until he says it's over.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are interviewed in the back. Bliss says if The Kabuki Warriors have a problem, come and get them. Flair says Nia Jax lives in fear and has no friends. Bliss says she will remind Nia why she outgrew her.

Sami Zayn and Nick Aldis talk in the back. Nick says Sami isn't cleared to wrestle and asks him to sit out tonight. Sami then hugs Cody Rhodes. Cody says he's proud of what he did with the US Title.

Nick asks Cody if he had anything to do with the attack on Jacob Fatu. Cody says no. Nick then gives him the contract to show him but Cody says he needs to show it to Drew.

Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss

Nia hits AB from behind while she talks to Flair. Nia headbutts AB. Nia corner splashes her twice. AB slaps Nia. Nia bodyblocks her. Nia blocks a hurricanrana and sends AB into the post. Nia misses a hip attack against the post. AB dives on Nia off the apron then she is dropped throat first on the rail. AB is sent into the rail.

We go to PiP break and return. Nia chinlocks her and hits a corner splash. Nia corner hip attacks her then misses a 2nd one. Nia knocks AB off the apron. AB pulls her down over the 2nd rope. AB facekicks her and flying headscissors her. AB dropkicks her. AB low crossbodies her for 2.

Nia misses a corner charge. AB tries to do a facebuster but Nia lands on her butt. Nia samoan drops her for 2. Nia knocks her down outside then pushes Flair. Nia is on the 2nd rope, Flair distracts her and AB dropkicks Nia in the corner. AB then pins her.

Thoughts:
There was a lot of sloppiness here with Nia taking a facebuster bump on her butt and the finish not looking good. They had the right idea but the work wasn't there.

The MFT's talk to Rey Fenix. Solo asks if he wants a fight. Rey says he doesn't and Solo tells him to go trick or treat. Rey then stands on something and says he wants to fight Talla Tonga. He says he wants a piece of him and Solo agrees. Rey then slaps Talla. Solo tells Talla to focus on tonight.

Damian Priest does a video on Aleister Black. He says he doesn't hate him but he should. He says Black won and it's personal now. He says Black knows it's coming but won't know when or how. He says when when he gets his hands on him, not even the devil will stop him. He says he will feel his venom when punishment comes for him.

Tiff and Aldis talk in the back. Kiana and Giulia interrupt. Kiana says Tiff is in bad shape and says Tiffy Time is coming to an end. Tiff says she will find the tiffy time to beat her @ss. Giulia says she wouldn't be talking like that tomorrow or talking at all. Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre come in. Green talks and says she wants a match with Giulia. Giulia says if Green thinks she is the better champ, she can prove it. Aldis agrees. Green and Alba then see Nikki Cross and get scared. They then walk away.

We see clips of he Cincinatti Bearcats mascot and the Utah Utes mascot wrestling in the ring before the show.

The MFT's (JC Mateo and Tama Tong) vs The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley)

JC pounds on Alex in in the corner. Alex hits chops. JC takes a top rope dropkick + flatliner for 2. Sabin is pounded on by both opponents in the corner. Tama hits punches and a side headlock. Tama takes a double lariat. Tama is sent out. The Guns do stereo plancha's outside.

Tama clubs on Sabin. Sabin knees him in the gut. Tama is held for a baseball slide for 2. We go to PiP break and return. Tama chinlocks Alex. Alex fights out of the corner. He flatliners Jc into the 2nd buckle. Sabin baseball slides JC then top rope dropkicks Tama. Sabin tornado ddt's JC. Sabin 2nd rope tornado ddt's Tama for 2.

Sabin monkey flips Tama. Alex lariats Tama over the top. Alex low blows Tama. Sabin topes both opponents outside. Talla Tonga tries to hit the faces but is stopped. Tama takes a double enzugiri. Solo distracts the ref and Loa pushes Alex off the top. Tama hits a hidden blade on Sabin and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was a shorter bout. There was nothing wrong with it but it was pretty average.

Talla chokeslams Sabin after. Loa foot chokes Alex. Rey Fenix comes out. Talla facekicks Rey then Rey is pounded on. Shinsuke Nakamura comes out. He gets the edge on The MFT's and beats them up. Talla chokeslams Nakamura.

Aldis talks to Drew McIntyre in the back. He asks if everything is good in the contract. Drew asks if he's worried he will say something he shouldn't on the mic out there. Drew says Aldis has a stressful job and needs to relax.

Nick Aldis hosts a contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre in the ring.

Aldis says they already discussed this and says they need to sign on the line. Drew says he can't sign this. Cody signs it. Drew says the contract is lopsided. Nick says it's a standard contract. Drew says Cody keeps the title no matter who gets counted out or disqualified and says that makes it lopsided. Nick says that's fine and says there's tons of men who will take his place and sign it.

Drew says to get one of them and goes to walk away. Cody tells Drew to sit down. Cody asks if Drew wants it so that Cody loses the title if he gets counted out or DQ'd. Cody says he's 110% fine with that. Drew says he will sign now and then does.

Drew says it's a happy moment for him. He says him and Cody should be the best of friends after 20 years. He says he just doesn't like how he goes about his business. He says he reps corporate America. Drew says he's the real American Dream.

Cody says Drew should be proud of their parallel paths. Cody says it's different though as he grew balls and walked when he got sick of WWE but Drew got fired. Cody says good luck tomorrow. He says nice guys used to finish last then he showed up.

Drew says Cody can't get the last word in. He says Cody gives and the fans take. He says the fans will turn on Cody eventually. Drew talks about Cody wearing a Halloween themed suit. He says Cody's daughters would be happy if he was with them. Drew asks their names again. Cody bangs Drew's head off the table and misses a shot with the title. Drew slides out and has a smirk on his face. Cody moves Nick out of the way and Drew claymore kicks Cody.

Drew powerbombs Cody through a table. He tells Cody to see his family as he is taking the most precious thing in his world and says he will be the new champ. He says he will do whatever it takes.

Overall thoughts: It's the night before SNME so we weren't getting any major developments here. Ilja and Frazer beat the crap out of each other in the match of the night and I don't know how Frazer didn't break his neck. Kit Wilson did alright vs Melo. Jax/Bliss had a lot of sloppy moments and the tag match was average. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 overall as I thought it was just an okay show. It made sense but it was nothing must see.

AAA Heroes Inmortales 2025 10/25/2025

AAA Heroes Inmortales 2025 10/25/2025

Note - There's no subtitles on here, so I have no idea what they are saying.

We get a video on Antonio Pena to start. We see various wrestlers arrive.

We then get another presentation on Antonio Pena with Marisela Pena holding his ashes on the stage with the flags.

El Hijo del Vikingo comes out to talk. El Grande Americano interrupts. They end up fighting and security breaks it up.

Dorian Roldan talks to El Hijo de Tirantes then El Mesias and someone else in the back. NGD of Forastero and Sanson interrupt. Mesias and his buddy get upset and Dorian seems to set up something. Dorian then talks to Vikingo.

Chik Tormenta vs. Lola Vice

They lock up. Lola armdrags her twice then side headlocks her. Chik rolls her up. Chik sunset flips her for 1 and Lola reverses the pin. Lola jack knifes her then Chik tries a pin attempt.

Lola hits her in the gut and dances. Lola seated springboard armdrags her then axe kicks her back for 2. Chik throws her down backwards and mule kicks her. Chik meteora's her for 2.

Lola's head is banged off the buckles. Chik hits shots in the corner. Chik hits a corner lariat and powerslams her for 2. Chik pulls Lola's arms back. Lola knees Chik in the face. Lola hits spin kicks to the gut. Lola then hits a kick combo on her.

Lola corner hip attacks her. Lola jumps on her off the apron but is caught and backbreakered. Chik mocks Lola's dance in the ring. Chik runs the ropes and runs into a uraken. Lola then pins her.

Thoughts: It was short and pretty average. There was never any doubt as to who was winning here. Lola did her usual moves. Chik's a bigger girl and is a little slower and less athletic. I liked it when she mocked Lola's dance.

AAA World Tag Team Title Match - Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson)

Clown mentions Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston on the mic pre-match. NGD talk on the mic as they enter.

NGD take down the faces and pound on them. They fight, the faces go for dives and NGD dropkicks them. Clown chases one of NGD with a barbed wire bat. The faces take stereo dropkicked as they get in. Pag takes double cane shots from the heels. Pag then takes a double baseball slide.

Pag is double suplexed then Sanson is monkey flipped into Clown into a table. The faces hit NGD with barbed wire bats. The faces then do stereo tilt-a-whirl slams. The faces then do stereo dives outside. Clown hits an air raid crash on Sanson on the apron. Pag then does it to Fora on the steps.

Tirantes counts and is pulled out by Mesias and Mecha Wolf. The rest of Psycho Circus come out and beat up Mesias and Wolf. NGD are put up on the top rope. Pag spanish flies Sanson then Clown also hits a spanish fly on Fora for 2.

Clown pounds on Fora. The faces set up two tables side by side in the ring. NGD hit stereo backcrackers on the heels for 2 counts. They stand on the tables. The faces hit michinoku drivers on NGD through the tables en stereo for the win.

Thoughts: I don't know if I've ever seen so many stereo spots in one match in my life. Everything was done en stereo here. I was really surprised the tables could hold the wrestlers when they stood on them. The match was fine but it really had nothing but hardcore wrestling.

The lights go out and an empty rocking chair appears on the stage. The Wyatt Sicks then appear. Nikki Cross has blood coming out of her mouth. They jump Clown and Pag. Rowan double lariats Clown and Pag. Pag and Clown are hit with chairs. Rowan splashes chairs into both of them. Pag takes a suplex + neckbreaker through 2 chairs.

Rey Mysterio does a video for Guerra de Titanes.

AAA Mega Title Match - Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Dragon Lee

Lee hits forearms on Dom then flying headscissors him. Lee hits combinacion cabron. Dom sends Lee into the steps. Dom then topes him outside. Dom slingshot swantons him.

Dom chops him in the corner. Dom flying dropkicks him for 2. Lee blocks a sunset flip and double stomps Dom. Dom flying back elbows him for 1. Dom rips up Lee's mask on the buckles. Lee is in tree of woe. Dom stomps him and basement dropkicks him for 2.

Lee armbars him. Dom then lariats him. Dom does 2 suplexes then Lee suplexes him on the 3rd attempt. Lee kicks the buckle into Dom's face. Dom is in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him down.

Lee flying headscissors Dom off the apron. Lee sitout powerbombs Dom for 2. Dom superkicks Lee then canadian destroyers him. Dom 619's him for 2. Lee pumping knees him on the apron. Lee tries to do a flying headscissors off the apron but ends up powerbombing himself on the floor. Dom is back body dropped on the commentary table.

Lee tope con hilos him through the ropes, sending him through the table. Lee crossbodies the ref when Dom moves. Lee and Dom fight in the crowd. Lee climbs up into the stands (with the help of fans) then plancha's Dom.

Dom is thrown into ringside. Lee hits destino in the ring for 2. Dom hits Lee in the gut with a hammer. Lee blocks Dom's 619. Lee grabs the hammer and the ref takes it from him. Dom then hits Lee with his boot (that had Lee had taken from him to get the weapon). Dom hits a top rope frogsplash and wins.

Thoughts:
It didn't have much of an opening section here as they pretty much skipped right to the mid part of the match. Lee took a nasty spill on his head on a botched headscissors off the apron. Lee hit a nice tope con hilo through the ropes sending Dom through a table and did a nice plancha off the 2nd floor seats. They basically micmic'd a big match here without doing the stuff to really put the match over the top. I liked what we got and thought it was alright but it could have been better.

Hijo del Vikingo comes out and fights with Dom after. Lee saves Vikingo. El Grande American comes out and hits flying battering rams on Lee and Vikingo. Grande back body drops Vikingo out of the ring and is cheered when he's supposed to be booed. Dom gets busted open some.

Dom talks on the mic after and seems to set up a tag match.

Overall thoughts: We only saw 3 of the matches from the show here so this wasn't the complete event. Lola/Chik was average. The AAA Tag Title match was all hardcore wrestling. It was okay enough but it was far from a smart or great match. They tried to do a classic in the main event but didn't really build heat or do enough early on to get us there. I stilled like what we got though and it was an okay effort effort. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 total as we got two big show matches and one filler match which was average. This show was fine.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 9/23/2025 N-1 Victory 2025 Day 9

Pro Wrestling NOAH 9/23/2025 N-1 Victory 2025 Day 9

Day 8 is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/pro-wrestling-noah-9212025-n-1-victory.html

KENTA, Manabu Soya, Tetsuya Endo & Ulka Sasaki vs. Daiki Inaba, Galeno, Kenoh & Ricky Knight Jr.

Kenoh is facekicked by Kenta. He hits chest kicks. Kenta spin kicks him and they stand off. Ulka side headlocks Inaba then shoulders him over. Inaba goes for a leapfrog and is just kicked. Inaba running lariats him then misses a splash. Ulka rolls Inaba into a triangle. Ulka then cranks back on Inaba's arm.

Kenta hammerlocks Inaba and sends him into the buckles shoulder first. Soya stomps on Inaba and wristlocks him. Endo misses a corner charge on Inaba and hits boots out of the corner. Endo running facekicks him. Inaba suplexes Endo. Rick comes in. He hook kicks Endo and springboard forearms him. He then dropkicks him in the corner.

Rick puts Ulka and Endo on his shoulders and samoan drops both. Rick slams Endo then top rope elbow drops him for 2. Endo handspring corkscrew kicks Rick. Soya comes in and bulldogs Rick. He deadlift suplexes him for 2.

Rick superkicks and flying pumping knees Soya. Gal step up knees Soya then sliding lariats him for 2. Gal runs the ropes and splashes Soya. Soya takes corner attacks. Inaba corner flying spears Soya then 2nd rope diving spears Soya for 2.

Inaba misses a top rope splash. Inaba tries to get up but his leg hurts and he can't. Soya death valley bombs Inaba and wins.

Thoughts: Inaba got injured here near the end. I'm not surprised. He doesn't dive off the top rope the right way and is clearly hesitant to do so. Soya stupidly was still trying to do moves to him after he got injured and Kenta and Kenoh had to try and cover for it. They had your usual average opener but the end with an amateur hour mess.

Charlie Dempsey and Harlem Lewis come out. Dempsey says they were here to rep WWE NXT and step in the ring with some of the best Japan has to offer. Lewis says they will showcase themselves on 10/4. He says you will remember them and what they do. Lewis says they will compete against members of the NOAH roster and says it will be NOAH vs NXT.

Daiki Odashima & HAYATA vs. Team 2000X (Daga & Takashi Sugiura)

Dai offers a handshake but Daga doesn't oblige. They both headflips out of wristlocks. Daga shoulders Dai over. Oda flying headscissors him then is swept. Sugi gets in and they do amateur wrestling. Yoshitatsu trips Haya from the outside then Haya baseball slides him.

Haya atomic drops Sugi then flying kicks him in the side of the head. Haya 2nd rope moonsaults him for 2. Sugi knees Haya in the gut. Haya is pushed into the ref. Yoshi hits Haya in the head with his nightstick in front of the ref and is DQ'd.

Thoughts: It was short and not much with a stupid ending.

The heels stomp on Haya and Daiki after. Daga doesn't join in and throws Yoshi and Sugi out. Daga then protects Daiki.

Daga gets on the mic and asks Yoshi why he is hitting a kid. He asks why he wants to hit "my boy". He says if Yoshi wants to fight and hit people, they should have a match right now.

Yoshitatsu and Takashi Sugiura vs Daga and Daiki Odashima

Daga hits shots on Yoshi. Daga dropkicks him. Daiki gets in and dropkicks Sugi. Daga superkicks Yoshi and uranage's him for the pin in less than a minute.

Atsushi Kotoge, Go Shiozaki, Kazuyuki Fujita & Mohammed Yone vs. All Rebellion (Harutoki & Kaito Kiyomiya), Naomichi Marufuji & Shuhei Taniguchi

Kaz throws down Kaito. Kaito hits forearms then Kaz lariats him. Kaito flying crossbodies Kaz and pounds on him. Kaito is then pushed back. Yone and Maru go at it. Yone poses off the break and Maru chops him. Yone slams him and misses a legdrop.

Go and Maru go at it. They trade chops. Maru gives him middlef fingers. Maru spin kicks him in the face. Shuhei comes in. He slams a bunch of people and slams Kaito onto Go. Shuhei then slams Yone onto Go.

Kaz lariats Go down. Kotoge running knees Shuhei. Go lariats Shuhei for 2. Haru step up enzugiri's Kotoge then hits enzugiri's on Go. Shuhei polish hammers Go and even his teammates help break the pin. Shuhei headbutts Go then Go hits a big lariat for the win.

Thoughts: It was a short one here. No one put that great of an effort in and it wasn't much of note. Too many people and not enough time.

Minoru Suzuki comes out and has words for Yone's team. He subtlety challenges Fujita.

Tadasuke vs. YO-HEY

Yo poses on the buckles and is hit. Yo is knocked to the outside. Tada brings a chair in and the ref stops him from using it. Tada stomps Yo. Yo superkicks him in the gut and spinning heel kicks him. Yo top rope dropkicks him for 2. Tada kneebreakers and dragon screws Yo.

Yo dropkicks Tada. Yo misses a move off the top and sells his knee. Tada does a spinning toe hold and Yo ropebreaks. The ref tries to break it and Tada pushes the ref away. Tada then throws the ref down and stomps on Yo. Tada is then DQ'd.

Thoughts: Tada just mostly worked the leg here until he got DQ'd. This didn't go very long.

Tada chairs Yo in the knee after.  Tada hits him in the knee with the chair as he tries to leave.

AMAKUSA & Hiromu Takahashi vs. Eita & Junta Miyawaki

Ama throws out Jun before it starts. HT side headlocks Eita then shoulders him over. HT flying headscissors Eita. He corner lariats him then is armdragged. Eita hurricanrana's him then dropkicks him.

Eita does a nasty vertebreaker suplex on Ama for 2. HT back elbows Eita. Eita superkicks HT. Ama gets a 2 count on Eita but Eita holds on and does a Z360. Eita then pins Ama.

Thoughts
: Eita's vertebreaker suplex on Ama was super nasty and should have finished this. This wasn't bad otherwise though with lots of flying and them trying to build more hype for Eita vs Hiromu.

GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match - Alpha Wolf & Dragon Bane (c) vs. All Rebellion (Alejandro & Kai Fujimura)

The lucha's hit dropkicks to start then do stereo tope con hilos outside. Wolf chops down Ale. Ale is tripped into an elbow drop. He then takes a double hiptoss and a double dropkick for 2. Ale is in tree of woe and is booted. Wolf bites Ale's neck. Ale takes a double hiptoss into the ropes but does an armdrag off of it. Ale is then popped up into a flying headscissors on wolf. Kai hurricanrana's Bane for 2. Ale gets a 2 count on Bane for 2. Bane pumping knees Ale. He then hits a made in Japan on him and wins.

Thoughts:
They did a little too much here in the last pat of this which was too be expected. They didn't go that far though. It was a fast paced match with a lot of action as expected. It was a bit welcome though after some of the slower matches on this tour.

Daga and Daiki Odashima come out to challenge Bane and Wolf after. Daga says he has a new mission and says Daiki is the future of Noah. He says he will make sure he becomes a champ. Daiki is given the mic. Daiki talks in Japanese and says him and Daga are the next challengers. Bane says okay and says they are the best tag team in the world.

N-1 Victory 2025 Final Match - Masa Kitamiya vs. Jack Morris

They trade shots to start. Jack hits mounted shots and hits forearms in the corner. Jack lariats Masa. Masa suplexes him and blows Jack's pose. Masa hits chops and backbreakers Jack. Thoughts:
It was nice to see Masa win something of note after years of not really being treated right. It got a lot of time and they put out a good effort. I didn't think it was a great and would have maybe cut out some of the stuff at the end but this was fine overall.

Masa is given the trophy after and picks up the girl who gave him it. He then talks on the mic.

Masa calls out KENTA for a title match since he won the N-1 and they talk. Masa drops him with a shot and chairs him. Masa then talks more and poses with KENTA down.

Overall thoughts: The show was fine overall. We got a bunch of nonsense in the first half with DQ's and short matches. The last three matches were all fine though and definitely helped this one. It was an unusual show with a lot of the bigger stars being left in meaningless undercard tags while juniors were put near the top. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 total as the undercard really dragged this down. I would say the junior heavyweight tag title match was the best match of the night.

Overall thoughts on the N-1 Victory 2025: It was a really disappointing tournament and was super weak. The talent just isn't really there in NOAH. The years of putting older wrestlers over younger wrestlers and not training new talent have caught up to them. They also only brought one person in instead of using WWE guys and he wasn't that good. The Stardom 5 Star Grand Prix was miles better than this and the G-1 was also a lot better than this. There's virtually nothing I would recommend from this tournament and it was a chore to get through.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 9/21/2025 N-1 Victory 2025 Day 8

Day 7 is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/pro-wrestling-noah-9202025-n-1-victory.html

Alpha Wolf, Dragon Bane & Jack Morris vs. Alejandro, AMAKUSA & Kai Fujimura

Ale and Wolf go at it. Wolf takes him down then headflips out of an armdrag. Ale flying snapmares him. Ale spinning bodyscissors him. Wolf headflips up into a kick on him. Wolf chops Ale. Wolf takes orner attacks then a double superkick while seated. Ale is tripped into a basement dropkick. Bane then jumps off Wolf's back and hits a dropkick.

Jack and Ama fight. Jack is hit with a boot then knocks him over. Ama is sat up top. His 2nd rope diving headscissors is blocked but he sunset flips Jack for 2. Ama's springboard is caught and Jack suplexes him off of it.

Ama takes a double hiptoss into a double basement dropkick for 2. Ama springboard flying back elbows Bane. Kai comes in and flying headscissors Bane. Kai 2nd rope diving headscissors Bane from behind then forearms him down for 2.

Bane spin kicks Kai and hits more kicks. Band handspring back elbows him and standing moonsaults him for 2. Wolf top rope moonsaults Kai then Bane moonsaults off of Wolf's shoulders onto Kai. Ale tope con hilos Wolf outside. Kai superkicks Bane. Bane pumping knees him.

Kai armdrags Bane into a nice headscissors pin and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine. It could have been a little faster and shorter though. Bane's moonsault off of Wolf's shoulders was cool.

Atsushi Kotoge, HAYATA & Ryo Hoshino vs. Black Menso-re, Daiki Odashima & Junta Miyawaki

Jun and Ryo go at it. Ryo wristlocks Jun and Jun reverses it. Jun side headlocks him. They trade side headlock takeovers and stand off. Jun side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Ryo armdrags him and dropkicks him twice. Ryo hits another dropkick. Ryo plancha's him outside.

Kotoge bangs Jun's head off the buckles. Kotoge goes up and over him then back elbows him. Jun running forearms him. Jun tags in Daiki over Menso. Daiki side headlocks Haya when they both get in. Daiki headscissors Haya then flying headscissors him. Daiki dropkicks him.

Haya misses a corner charge. Daiki botches a dropkick and is catapulted into the buckles. Ryo comes in. He running back elbows Daiki in the corner. He then suplexes him. Daiki is tripped into the ropes and has the rope kicked into his face. Ryo asai moonsaults Daiki.

They trade forearms. Daiki rolls him up for 2 then karelin's lifts him. Daiki top rope crossbodies Ryo and Menso gets a 2 count on Ryo. Menso takes offense from his opponents then is hit with a crucifix driver for 2.

Ryo slams Menso then top rope tornillos him for the win.

Thoughts
: Menso took the pin as usual here. Ryo got a lot of time to shine here. I don't think he's anything great but he's a new face and perfectly fine for these kinds of matches. It was average and unoffensive.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block B Match - Daiki Inaba vs. Harutoki

Haru side headlocks him. Haru knees him in the face then slingshot armdrags him. DI shoulders him over. DI misses a splash then Haru back elbows him. Haru slingshot plancha's him outside. Haru lifts him by the arms and legs and drops him on his chest for 2.

They trade shots. DI blue thunders him. DI splashes him. DI slams him for 2. DI then kneels on his back and pulls on his chin. Haru ropebreaks. DI misses a corner spear. Haru suplexes him. Haru running facekicks him. Haru top rope crossbodies him for 2. DI overhead belly to belly suplexes him. DI then spears him.

DI hits a flying corner spear then a corner cannonball for 2. DI misses a 2nd rope diving spear. Haru hits corner enzugiri's. DI hits a hard foream. Haru hits his own forearms. Haru step up enzugiri's him. Haru double underhook suplexes him then pump kicks him for 2. Haru does a kubinage style throw with DI's arm's.

DI hits forearms. Haru pumping knees him. DI then lariats him. DI brainbusters him for 2. DI 2nd rope diving spears him for a close 2. DI top rope splashes him and wins.

Thoughts: It was alright. It got a lot of time. The two are both kind of underdog face wrestlers so that meant the match was going to look a certain way. DI got a lot more offense in than he usually does.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - Manabu Soya vs. Ulka Sasaki

Ulka side headlocks him and is backdropped. MS forearms him in the spine, hiptosses him and shoulders him for 2. MS catches him in the air and Ulka tries to triangle him over the top rope. Ulka kimura's him. MS rams him in the corner and chops him. MS bulldogs him for 2.

MS hiptosses him. Ulka traps one arm and cranks back on the other. Ulka does a bridging hammerlock on MS. MS ropebreaks. Ulka hits kicks to the arm. MS tries some chops. Ulka pele kicks the arm. MS death valley drivers him for 2. Ulka rolls him up for 2 and then puts another armbar on him.

MS gets up and hits a lariat. MS blocks a move and hits a suplex off of it. Ulka tries to block a lariat but goes down anyone. MS running lariats him and pins him.

Thoughts:
They were going somewhere with Ulka working the arm but then they ran out of time and had to go to the finish. I thought this could have been better with more time and wouldn't mind seeing them try this again. They had the right idea with Soya selling the arm a lot and Ulka working it.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block B Match - Kenoh vs. Galeno

Gal pushes him over on the lock up. Ken tries shoulder blocks and gets nowhere. Gal leapfrogs then shoulders him over. Gal slams him then misses a splash. Ken double stomps his back. Ken runs the ropes and either trips/gets tripped by Gal into the ropes. Ken then tries again and double stomps him.

Gal facekicks him for 2. Gal chops him. Gal step up knees him then sliding lariats him for 2. They trade chest kicks for forearms. Ken spinning high kicks him. Gal hits boots to the ace and Ken mocks his brother's head twist aunt.

Ken pele kicks him. Gal headbutts him then gets german'd. Ken PK's him for 1. Ken does another PK for 2. Ken PK's him for 2 again. Ken misses a top rope double stomp. Gal lariats him twice for 2. Gal does a twisting double underhook suplex and pins him.

Thoughts
: I was surprised to see Gal pin Ken. I was also surprised this went only a little over 6 minutes. Ken had issues with Gal's size here as he was literally bouncing off of him when he did double stomps and tripped over him while running the ropes. Win or lose, I can't say Ken would have came out of this one looking that great.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block B Match - Naomichi Marufuji vs. Ricky Knight Jr.

They trade chops to start. Rick dropkicks him then topes con hilos him. Rick springboards off the rail into a superkick. Maru chops him against the post. Maru bangs the rail door into Rick's face.

We see Jack and Galeno watching this in the crowd. Maru chinlocks Rick and Rick bites his way out. Rick sunset flips him then Maru rakes his eyes with his feet off of it. Maru flying back elbows him. Rick powerslams him.

Rick hits a corner dropkick then a low dropkick in the corner. Rick bridging ddt's Maru. Rick misses a 450 off the top. They hook kick each other. Rick asai moonsaults and Maru superkicks him in the mid-air. Rick is tripped into the ropes and Maru misses a driveby kick on him.

Rick gets hung over the top rope and Maru superkicks him for 2. They trade chops. Rick hook kicks him. Rick hits a styles clash for 2. Maru hook kicks him then pumping knees him for 2. Rick blocks a shiranui and backslides him for the win.

Thoughts: I didn't like it that much. There wasn't much of a story or logic to it. I thought they were going to have Maru outsmart and be tricky with Rick through this one but it didn't happen. Ricky did his usual offense and Marufuji did mostly all strikes.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - Daga vs. Kaito Kiyomiya

They do some grappling to start. Daga side headlocks him. Daga hiptosses and armdrags him. KK flips out of a snapmare. KK back elbows him and elbow drops him for 2. Daga enzugiri's him. Daga springboard dropkicks him off the apron then slingshot plancha's him outside.

Daga misses a slingshot swanton inside but is able to tilt-a-whirl backbreaker him. Daga dropkicks him again. Daga gets a 2 count on him. KK is sent into the post shoulder first. KK flying neckbreakers him. KK drppkicks him.

KK hits euros in the corner. KK dragon screws him. Daga bocks a shining wizard. Daga superkicks him then germans him for 2. They trade strikes. Daga reverse ddt neckbreakers him then lariats him.

KK hits a dropkick. KK flying knees him. Daga cradles him for 2. Daga shining wizards him. KK just gets up and no sells it. Daga hits slaps and KK flying shining wizards him. KK hits another shining wizard for 2. Daga brainbusters KK for 2. Yoshitatus gets on the apron and Daga is sent into him. KK goes for a hurricanrana but Daga rolls through to win.

Thoughts
: Of course Kaito takes a loss here. He really is NOAH's whipping boy and I'll never get why. The match wasn't much and I wasn't totally shocked when Daga won as it felt like something was up. This match didn't do much for me.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Masa Kitamiya

They charge each other to start. They forearm each other. They shoulder each other. Kaz shoulders him over. Masa germans him. Masa headbutts him outside. Kaz sends Masa into the rails. Kaz running back elbows him and slams him. Kaz prison locks him. Kaz then turns it into a figure four.

Masa back body drops him. Masa then running lariats him. Masa then does a prison lock. They trade shots and lariats. Kaz suplexes him. They go out and Kaz is sent into the rails. Masa chairs him in front of the ref. Masa then piledrivers him on a chair on the floor. Masa chairs him more.

Masa running lariats him inside then piledrivers him. Masa hits a top rope senton. Masa strangle hold alpha's him and Kaz submits.

Thoughts: I liked it up to the outside section. Masa was hitting him with a chair for a while and somehow the ref didn't see it or do anything about it. That section just took the flow away from what was actually looking like a decent match.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - KENTA vs. Tetsuya Endo

Endo side headlocks him then facekicks him. They trade facekicks him and Ken goes down. Endo back elbows him for 2. Ken hits knees to the body. End is laid on the top rope and kicked. Ken then top rope double stomps him as he hangs. Ken snapmares him and kicks him in the back. Ken does a half-camel clutch and Endo ropebreaks.

Endo is thrown hard into the buckles. Ken slams him then does a bodyscissors. Ken back elbows him for 2. Ken tries pin attempts. Kne knees him in the gut. Endo springboard forearms him. Endo handspring corkscrew kicks him for 2.

Ken is headbutted in the face. Endo torture racks him. Ken kicks him over the 2nd rope. Endo facekicks him off the apron. Endo goes for a plancha but Ken kicks him on the dive attempt. Ken corner facekicks him then corner dropkicks him. Ken hits a top rope double stomp for 2.

They trade forearms. Ken drops him with a slaps for 2. Endo powerbomb backbreakers Ken on the knee. Endo top rope moonsaults and Ken gets his knees up. Ken flying knees him for 2. Ken slaps him down then flying knees him for 2.

Endo hits chops. Ken slaps him. Endo avoids a go to sleep and cradles him for 2. Ken facekicks him then spinning lariats him for 2. Endo poisonrana's him off a GTS attempt. Endo step up knees him in the corner. Endo top rope corkscrew ssp's him for the win.

Thoughts: I was surprised Endo won here. This didn't really pick up until the end. It was a bit of a slower match and Kenta didn't do much but strikes. Endo was definitely booked as the underdog throughout this. I thought it was just average. This could have used a little more spirit.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block B Representative Playoff Match - Jack Morris vs. Galeno

They hockey fight to start. Gal spinning forearms him then is hit with a flying knee. Jack bodyscissors him over the top rope. Jack then 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him outside. Ken hits a top rope splash for 2. Gal pop-up drops him, forearms him then sentons him for 2.

They trade forearms. Jack pumpkicks him then takes a spinning lariat. Jack step up enzugiri's him. Gal blue thunders him for 2. Jack hits a code red on him for 2. Gal gordbusters Jack then step up knees him in the corner. Jack enzugiri's him from the apron. Jack goes up top. Gal walks up the buckles and superplexes him.

Jack flying knees him for 2. Jack hits another flying pumping knee for 2. Gal back body drops him. Gal headbutts him. Gal hits a running lariat for 2. Gal michinoku drivers Jack for 2. Gal goes for a move and Jack cradles him for 2. Jack pumping knees and flying knees him for 2. Jack hits another flying knee for 2. Jack tiger drivers him and wins.

Thoughts
: Galeno had some nice spinning strikes here. Jack did his usual pumping knees and enzugiri's. There wasn't a clear heel or face here and the work wasn't anything too great. They also didn't get enough to really have a classic here. I thought it was just average.

They hug after.

Jack talks on the mic. He says he didn't know if he was winning the block or had to fight. He said he had to fight Galeno, not just anyone. Jack says he will go to Korauken Hall and win the N-1.

He says he has a lot of history with the man he is fighting. He says he doesn't just plan to win the N-1, he plans on getting his revenge on Team 2000X. He says he hopes to see everyone there.

Masa Kitamiya comes out. He speaks in Japanese and they stare down. Jack then speaks in Japanese.

Overall thoughts: They had a lot of matches here and most of them didn't get enough time. I can't really say I loved anything here. Fujita/Masa was close but then they did a bunch of weapons stuff outside and lost me. Soya/Ulka were also on the right track but then they ran out of time. The top matches here were just average and I wasn't a big of this show overall though we had some upsets. I would give this a 5 out of 10 total.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 8/1/1992

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 8/1/1992

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-7251992.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/11/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-881992.html

We are still in Glens Falls, NY.

Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect are our hosts. Vince says it's National Clown Week. They make clown jokes and Perfect asks if we saw the fun they had with Warrior and Macho last week.

The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags) vs. Kerry Davis & Russ Greenberg

Saggs short arm lariats Russ then knee drops him. Knobbs elbow drops Russ. Russ' face is banged off the mat. Russ takes a trip to Pity City and is knee'd in the gut.

Kerry gets in and is facebustered. Jimmy Hart says to call 911 quick. Kerry's face is banged off the buckles and Knobbs elbow drops him. Knobbs pounds on Kerry. Kerry's head is banged off the buckle then Knobbs corner splashes him. Knobbs power slams Kerry and Saggs to rope elbow drops Kerry for the win.

Thoughts: It was all squash here with the jobbers standing no chance. The Nasty's roughed up the jobbers as usual here and Jimmy Hart was pretty vocal here.

WWF Update

Mean Gene Okerlund talks about his interview last week with The Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man which ended in a brawl with Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs "Iron" Mike Sharpe

Mike wristlocks him, Bret reverses it and Mike pulls him down by the hair. Bret hits shots to the arm then Mike bearhugs him. Bret atomic drops him then stomps him in the gut. We see an inset interview with Helen Hart, Bret's mom. Helen talks about Davey vs Bret and says this whole thing has become a nightmare that is falling to pieces.

Bret hits punches in the corner. Bret 2nd rope diving lariats Mike. Bret sharpshooters him and submits him.

Thoughts
: It was a quick one. It's always good to see Mike though. Mike got a little offense in which was nice before going down.

WWF Event Center

The British Bulldog does a promo. He says he and Bret are brother-in-laws. He says his time has come as he's next in line for an IC Title match. He says let's leave the match between them and keep the families out of it. He says let's see who is the best.

Shawn Michaels does a promo with Sherri. Sherri asks what's so sexy about Rick Martel and Shawn says nothing. Shawn says everything is sexy about him though and that's the difference between him and Rick. He says Shawn is the best athlete in the WWF.

"The Model" Rick Martel vs Bill Pierce

Rick knees him in the gut and wristlocks him. Bill reverses it then Rick back body drops him. Rick kind of does a water wheel drop then kneels on his arm. Rick Martel does an inset promo. He says Tatanka's eagle feathers are his for good and will bring him luck. He says he will given Shawn Michaels all the reasons why he should be jealous of him.

Rick nodowa otoshi's Bill then hits boots to the gut. Rick hits knees to the gut and pounds on Bill in the corner. Rick blocks Bill's monkey flip and atomic drops him. Rick backbreakers Bill. Rick boston crabs him and submits him.

Thoughts: It was a quick one used to build up Rick vs Shawn at Summerslam. Rick's nodowa otoshi looked like it hurt.

Rick elbow drops Bill after.

Mean Gene Okerlund interviews Paul Bearer and The Undertaker on the stage. Paul Bearer says he can't understand why Harvey and Kim Chee want Kamala to go against Taker. He said he did research to see what permits are needed to ship from England and Uganda. He says it won't be a problem but they may need a bigger casket. He says he found out that they use a funeral fire in England and says he can see Harvey, Kim and Kamala burning in it.

Gene says he heard Taker and Paul may be Kamala's guest for dinner. Taker says the only ones dining after Summerslam will be the maggots and worms feasting on the rotting carcass of Kamala.

Papa Shango vs. Tony Roy

Papa hits a shot in the corner and bangs Tony's head off the buckles. Papa misses a charge then drops him with a shot after taking a shot. Papa does some kind of flying forearm at him.

Papa slams Tony then legdrops him. Papa does a trapezus hold on him then knees him in the back. Papa hits a shoulderbreaker and gets the pin.

Thoughts: It was your usual unimpressive Papa Shango squash. I still have no idea what that flying forearm move is but it looks like trash.

Perfect wonders if he could get Papa to put a curse on The Warrior. Papa shoots fire out of his skull after.

WWF Event Center

Kamala, Kim Chee and Harvey Wippleman do a promo. Harvey says Paul Bearer signed Taker's career away by getting him a match with Kamala. He says it's the end of The Undertaker. and the beginning of Kamala's reign on top of the WWF.

Bret Hart does a promo. He says every dog has his day but Bulldog won't at Summerslam. He says they will be family before and after. He says he will still be champ after Summerslam and says Bulldog is barking up the wrong tree by stepping in the ring with him.

Summerslam Report

Mean Gene talks Summerslam. He runs down the card. Sensational Sherri and Shawn Michaels do a promo. Sherri says Rick Martel has no fashion sense. Shawn tells Rick to never compare his looks to his. He said Rick needed all the help he could get against Hart and won't get any help against Shawn at Summerslam.

They announce The Beverly Brothers vs The Natural Disasters. The Disasters do a promo. They say they will give The Bev's a present - a shot at the tag titles. Quake says they are ready so The Bev's better be. Ty says it takes 3 things to be a champ and said The Bev's will only do some crying, so they better get a big bucket. Gene announces Virgil vs Nailz. Nails says it's him and Virgil at Summerslam. He says everyone minds their own business where he's been and says when he's done with him, nobody will recognize him. Virgil says Nailz is a tough man when another man is handcuffed. Virgil says his hands are in his face and he will nail him down at Summerslam. He says to handcuff him.

Gene then announces The Legion of Doom vs Money Inc.

Thoughts: What even is this Summerslam 1992 card? Because it's certainly not the card this promotion has been building for the last 4 months. After surprising us with a bunch of matches that didn't follow up on the booking last week, we got more here. The Natural Disasters, who have been feuding with Money Inc, are now facing The Beverly Brothers. The Bev's had been feuding with The LOD. And The LOD are now facing Money Inc. Oh, but it gets worse. Nailz pretty much only came to the WWF to face The Big Boss Man. He's been feuding with him since he arrived. Is he facing him at Summerslam? Nope. He's now facing Virgil. Yes, Virgil. Did Vince have an amnesia attack when he made this card? Because that's the only explanation at this point. It's like he completely forgot everything he had building for months. When people wonder why the WWF lost popularity in the early 90's, it was due to stuff like this. The TV was awful to begin with as they had endless squashes, but even the booking is going nowhere.

The Legion Of Doom (Animal & Hawk) (w/Paul Ellering) vs Flex Armstrong & Richie Rich

Rich is really bald. The LOD have Rocco with them. Vince says Rocco fits right in.

Hawk hits hots on Rich and Rich doesn't look real excited to get his whooping here. Hawk gorilla press slams him and Paul talks through Rocco. Animal lariats Rich then belly to belly suplexes him. Hawk headbutts Flex then gorilla press slams him.

Animal corner lariats Flex. Flex then takes the doomsday device as Rocco makes noises. Hawk pins Flex.

Thoughts: It was a quick one as usual. Vince made jokes about Rocco the whole time. Rich didn't look like he wanted to be there. I can't stress enough how much Rocco does not fit in with LOD's act and how much of a stupid idea he was.

We see Razor Ramon in a park watching a bunch of old men play dominoes. He says the old men are living in the past. He says forget about the past. He says no one cares where you come from, they only care where you are going. He says he's going to the top of the WWF. Razor tells Jack Tunney to bring his heroes on as he will knock them down like a stack of dominoes.

WWF Event Center

The Beverly Brothers and The Genius do a promo. Blake says what an opportunity it is at Summerslam for the tag titles. Beau says victory will be automatic and says The ND's reign as champs will be a short one.

Money Inc and Jimmy Hart do a promo. Hart says not to forget to bring Rocco. Ted says they didn't lose the tag titles and were robbed. Ted says more than ever, they have to beat LOD to become #1 contenders. IRS said they beat LOD once for the titles and will show them they can beat them twice.

Vince and Perfect talk about next week's show which will have the Superstars debut of Razor Ramon and an Ultimate Warrior interview.

Overall thoughts: There's no other way to come out of this show except for feeling disappointed. We watched endless squashes for months to get ready for Summerslam at the end of the day, it was for nothing. Every single storyline that was going on was changed for Summerslam. There's no explanation or defense for it. I can't recall many events where I thought the person booking it had amnesia while booking it.Other than that, we had the usual pointless squashes and lots of hype for Summerslam. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

Bonus:

I think this aired on the 8/3/1992 WWF Primetime Wrestling, but I figured I'd cover it here since it does get mentioned the next week and since that full episode of WBF Body Stars isn't out there.

WBF Body Star Wars 8/1/1992

Vince McMahon says they recently had WWF stars do a tug of war with WBF stars at Adventure Island in Tampa, Florida.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan talks to his WBF team and helps get them set up and in order. He says teamwork is important and says they will come out the victors. Perfect says his team has the perfect strategy. We get a "WBF" chant which is probably the first and last time that ever happened.

Mean Gene announces the teams:

Team WBF: Jim Quinn, Tony Pearson, Troy Zuccolotto, Aaron Baker, Danny Padilla and Tom Platz.

Team WWF: Ric Flair, The Mountie, Skinner, Ted Dibiase, The Berzerker and IRS.

Team WBF weights 1335lbs total while Team WWF teams 1555lbs total. Team WWF has 220lbs weight advantage.

Mean Gene interviews Tom Platz. He says he's planting his legs and he isn't worried. Danny Padilla says they can't lose and says bodybuilding is at stake. Aaron Baker says the other team will fly. Troy Zuccolotto says they are ready to go and it's like child's play. Tony Pearson says the jet man is fired up and says let's rock. Jim Quinn says he has mud while his opponent has dry sand. He said he won't lose to anyone who uses sun-in and mouse. Jim Duggan says to watch the water as the WWF guys will end up there.

Bill Alfonso is the ref for this.

Ric Flair says they will eat these guys like they do The Macho Man. The Mountie says he always gets his man. Skinner says he jerked bigger alligators than these geeks and says the guy with the big ears is going swimming. IRS says everyone is supporting the WBF because they are tax cheats like them. Ted Dibiase says we have Cadillac bodies with Volkswagon brains. He says we will beat them and buy them. The Berzerker says he was born standing up and hasn't been knocked down since.

Mean Gene runs down the rules and says this will be 2-3 pulls.

Round 1 - Team WWF lets go of the rope and Team WBF go flying. Team WWF laughs and Perfect says that's perfect.

Round 2
- Both teams actually pull here and it's looking even. Team WBF is really going at it and Flair accuses Team WBF of sitting. Team WBF gets the edge and wins th eround. The Mountie complains of someone on Team WBF sitting down. Mr. Perfect agrees.

Ric Flair says any time someone leaves their feet, they forfeit. Flair says they won. Bill Alfonso agrees and says he's giving the match to Team WBF. They say Tony Pearson accidentally sat down.

Even though this should be over, they keep going here. Duggan says Team WWF worked themselves up and they will pull them over.

Round 3
- They pull with Mr. Perfect yelling out instructions. Duggan tells his team they got it. Flair is pulling hard. Duggan says they got 'em. Team WWF is making some progress and they win, seemingly 3-0.

Duggan argues with the ref after. He says Team WWF was on the ground. Bill says he couldn't watch all 15 guys. Danny complains. Berz says he takes pills bigger than him. Danny says he knocked out guys bigger than him. Duggan says Ted Dibiase paid off Alfonso.

Mean Gene then is with team WWF. Gene says Ted Dibiase was seen trying to buy the ref. Ted says they had Cadillac bodies but volkswagon brains. He says they have leverage and know how to pull. He asks if Gene knows him to pay off anyone. He says Gene needs to cool off. Gene says he believes Ted did pay the ref off. Ted says they need to cool off Gene. They then throw Gene into the water and Mountie says they always get their man.

WWE Evolve 10/29/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwe-evolve-10222025.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/11/wwe-evolve-1152025.html

Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone are on commentary.

Masyn Holiday vs Jin Tala

I'm surprised Jin is on this as she was fired weeks ago.

Jin kicks her hand away on a lock up. Jin pulls on the arm. MH arm throws her and side headlock takeovers her. MH shoulders her over. MH leapfrogs her and crossbodies her. Jin blocks a dropkick and axe kicks her in the back. Jin chokes her on the 2nd rope. Jin kicks her in the back.

Jin hits shots in the corner and euros her over. Jin pus her legs between MH's head and pushes forward. Jin boots her out of the corner and does like an enzugiri for 2.

Jin chinlocks her. MH drops her with forearms. MH neckbreakers her. MH splashes her and wins.

Thoughts:
The finish was a bit weak here with Jin going down to a splash. Jin did a lot of kicks in this but they didn't look good. I didn't think this was that good.

Bigg Jah then comes out and dances with Masyn as she goes to leave.

Tate Wilder does a video. He says it looks like he's starting to find his way and said he put down a big name in brooks Jensen. He says a thrill seeker like him can't sit still. He says he's looped into a triple threat vs Laredo Kid and Marcus Mathers. He says he was chosen to represent The Performance Center and will do so with pride, grit and purpose. He says it's another step on the trail and he will take it with pride.

We get another Wendy Choo therapy video. She says when she saw AJ Lee talk about therapy on Raw, it was the first time she felt hope. She talks about Chantal Monroe giving her stress. She says she feels angry and says she feels free. She says she can finally be herself. She says she wasn't connected to herself now and says it will change. She says everyone including Monroe will see a whole new side of Wendy Choo.

Chuey Martinez is in the ring with 3 new WWE ID recruits. They are Mike Cunningham. He says he's proud to be trained by Cody Rhodes at The Nightmare Factory. He said he only had 50 matches and it's a dream come true to be here. Next is Jha'Quan McNair. He's from North Carolina. He says he trained at Lodi's Team Fearless Academy. He says he looks forward to making his name here at Evolve. The last one is Eli Knight, from Reality of Wrestling. He says he learned a lot from Booker and Ace Steel. He says he promises he will make his name heard.

Brooks Jensen comes in. BJ calls them The New Kids on the Block. He says they are ready to take the spot of veterans like himself. He says he's no ordinary man but the bad man from ala-bam-bam-bama. He says he's supposed to be looking at Booker's prized pupil but doesn't see it. He says he sees fear in McNair's eyes. He says he heard that Cody said Mike is "the guy". Mike says, "you better believe it". BJ says Mike has some fight in him. BJ says he can talk to him once he hits puberty. Mike says they are right here and says let's do this right now. Chuey says no. BJ says not to make him embarrass him. Chuey says to give them their time to shine.

Thoughts:
I've seen photos of Mike but I haven't seen him wrestle yet. McNair needs to be change his name. Nobody will be able to spell that. I've been a big supporter of Eli Knight and actually said they should sign him a few weeks ago. He can really fly and seems like another Leon Slater/Je'Von Evans type of guy.

We get another Aaron Rourke video about his life.

The Vanity Project talk to Stevie Turner in the back. Drake says the situation with Keanu needs to get solved. He says Keanu's cast has to be illegal. Stevie says Drake put him in the cast. Drake says he refuses to wrestle Keanu. Stevie says Keanu is cleared to wrestle with the cast on and is Drake's #1 contender. She says Keanu will face Drake for the title in 2 weeks. Drake says the bias is sickening.

Tate Wilder vs Laredo Kid vs Marcus Mathers

Kid is repping AAA, Tate is repping Evolve and MM is repping WWE ID. MM talks before he enters. He says he's living his dream and says he reps WWE ID. He says he will make them proud tonight and show why he's the finest.

We go to break and return. MM is thrown out. Kid lariats Tate over the top. Kid topes both outside. MM sweeps Kid on the apron and PK's him. Tate lariats MM on the apron. Tate apron ssp's Kid and MM on the floor.

MM and Tate are on the buckles. Kid sunset bombs Tate, making him superplex MM. Kid takes a hook kick from MM. MM cross-legged suplexes him for 2. MM chops Tate. Tate tries a 2nd rope flipping russian legsweep on MM but both land on their feet. Tate forearms Kid down then twisting suplexes him. MM top rope 450's Kid. Tate powerbombs MM off of it. Tate top rope moonsaults MM and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a good match with a lot of flying. Tate's really impressive for how short of a career he has had. He can really fly on top of being decent looking and a rookie. He's going places and really should be in the Rookie of the Year conversation. Kid is always fun and MM seemed to have taken some rough bumps here. It had tons of action as expected.

Tate shakes hands with his opponents after.

Chantal Monroe does a video. She says Wendy Choo snapped out of it and started running her mouth. She says she's happy Choo got the help she needed but isn't in the right state of mind as she wants to fight her. Monroe says she will slap some sense into her and will call her her new therapist.

It's GAL does a video. He says he's ranking people on the Stud-O-Meter. He talks about The Steiner's. He calls them genetic freaks like him. He says they get a 9.3 on the meter. He then talks about The Dudley Boyz. He said they should have spent less time getting the tables and more time getting the gain. He says they get a 6.8. Gal says he needs a new partner as she is losing gains by the minute.

We get a video on Adrenaline Drip vs Riggins/Presley.

Kendal Grey comes out with Carlee Bright. She says she won't tell a sob story. She says the Evolve Title is validation that her hard work has paid off. She said she knew it would be a struggle vs Kali. She said she held the title with pride and swag. She asks how it's possible to beat someone who has been so dominant. She says she had to drag her into The Grey Area.

Grey talks about her accomplishments. She says she made Kali play her game and says the only person that steps out of The Grey Area is her. She says being at the top of the mountain is where she likes to be. She says whoever wants her next better be ready to step in the grey area as she's ready for you.

The former Penina Tuilaepa, winner of LFG Season 2 comes out. She bodyblocks Carlee then powerbombs Grey onto the title. They say her name is PJ Vasa. PJ does an AA into a slam type of move on Grey and leaves Grey and Bright laying.

Thoughts: Grey was really pushing "The Grey Area" line here and it got a little old. PJ was a little sloppy here but she looked good on LFG. We will see how she does.

Overall thoughts
: We only had 2 matches here. Tala/Holiday wasn't that good but the three way was. We also got some new WWE ID announcements and the Evolve debut of Penina Tuilaepa/PJ Vasa which will change things up going forward. I was disappointed the LFG coaches didn't appear as they made it seem like they would. The show probably had as much non-wrestling stuff as it had wrestling stuff. It was just average overall and I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

OC orange punches DG off the apron. OC hits soul foot on Yuta then topes DG through a table outside. DA submits Yuta with a scorpion deathlock.

Thoughts
: OC had to screw around here like usual which I didn't. It was alright besides that though with a lot of flying and action.

Hook arrives. He says he's the underdog in the match tonight and says he will be against 3 vets. He says his goal is to pull out the win. He says he will do his best to make sure Samoa Joe doesn't advance. He says Joe showed the world who he really is but he said he already knew.

Don Callis is interviewed. He says he will show everyone his family has never been stronger tonight. The Young Bucks walk past. Don says it's criminal what the company has been doing to them. Don says maybe it would pay off to have a family behind them. He then asks production to do a special intro he made for them.

Lucha takes a double superkick. Jack jumps off Lucha's back into a double superkick. Mike takes a double superkick. The Bucks hit a shatter machine on Cash. Kevin takes a BTE trigger for 2.

Lucha apron moonsaults a Buk outside then Mike triangle moonsaults outside. Kevin hits a top rope 180 splash then is hit with a shatter machine. Dax pins Kevin to win.

Thoughts:
It was the wild, high flying and moves focused match you would expect. It was hard to follow at times with how much action was happening. They did lose me a bit by the end though as this kept going. The four way helped cover for some of the selling issues. They came up with a lot of creative spots as expected.

The Don Callis Family come out for a summit. There's tables in the ring and something on an easel. Rocky Romero says The Family is the largest and most dominant faction in wrestling. Rocky then shows a painting with all of The Family's wrestlers on it and everyone wearing little clothing.

Don says the painting is spectacular and inspired. Josh plays a video on the history of The Don Callis Family. Kyle talks about the oath they took to join The Family. Konosuke Takeshita ends up coming out and interrupting despite being in The Family.

KT comes down and Don tries to place peacemaker between KT and Okada. Don says KT is an alpha but this is a family of alpha's. He says there will be push and pull but it's normal and desired. Don says this is a family. He says The Family succeeds by listening to what he wants. Don says there's no "I" in team but an "I" in family and he decides.

Don says KT was first in The Family but will also be last out. Don says he needs KT to put his ego aside and shake Okada's hand. They go to shake hands and Okada gives KT the finger. Okada laughs and The Family jumps in to stop the fight. Don says they have work to do. He says he will show them how to work together. He says they will team up on Collision and show they can work like a family.

Thoughts: It was an entertaining angle that continued the slow-burn feud between KT and Okada.

We get the video on Olympia that we got on Collision.

Kris Statlander is interviewed. She says Mercedes Mone is upset and embarrassed. She says she will be there to support Mone when she fights Olympia. She says she's here tonight and if there's something she wants to say, she will be there holding the title Mone doesn't have.

Mox facekicks Kyle. Kyle goes for an anklelock. Mox ropebreaks. Kyle topes him outside and armbars him on the floor. Kyle dragon screws Mox into the rails. Kyle goes for a flying knee off the apron but Shafir gets in the way. Kyle guillotines him outside and both get counted out.

Thoughts:
We saw this already so we knew what it was going to look like. It was similar to the last match but that was fine so I had no issues here. It was a lot of hard shots and both of them going for submission attempts. It's too bad we didn't get a finish but it's clear it is leading somewhere.

Shafir nails the ref then Mox and Claudio beat on Kyle. Roderick Strong comes out to help and hits an olympic slam on Claudio. The Conglomeration and Darby then come out to stop the beating. Darby asks why they are running and says let's end this right here. Darby says The Death Riders haven't suffered enough and will get the chance to suffer more. Mark says he sees fake tough guys in The Riders and says they like to leave when it's time to fight. Mark tells OC to tell them what they are talking about and OC says Blood and Guts.

We return from a break and Mone and Statlander are fighting in the back. Kris' head is banged off production boxes. Mone beats up Kris on the ramp and they head to the ring. Kris carries her to ringside and F-5's her on the apron from the floor. Athena then comes out and sends Kris into the steps. Kris takes a backstabber and an o-face. Mone crossfaces her. Willow and Harley then come out and break things up.

Bandido talks about driving from Mexico to the US with his grandmother.

The four trade forearms in the ring. The heels take stereo suplexes then hit stereo superkicks. The faces then double lariat them down. Skye and Queen trade shots. Thekla appears from under the ring and takes out Jamie on the floor. Queen takes a double team swinging pendulum side slam and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was about average. There were a lot of kicks here. Queen got dropped hard for the finish. I was surprised the heels won as Jamie and Queen winning made more sense fro the bracket.

Tony Schiavone is in a Phantom of the Opera costume and he interviews Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne. Ford's arm is in a sling. Ford says she's out indefinitely. She says the titles were their destiny. She says she will make every woman feel the pain they feel now. Meg says she's been making the women bow down long before she and Ford met. She says any woman ready to make history should step forward. Marina Shafir comes in and says she's listening. Mox then comes in and says, "look out". The girls pound fists.

Winner fights Adam Page at Full Gear - Bobby Lashley vs Ricochet vs Samoa Joe vs Hook

Ric runs from Bob. Hook hits Joe and they trade forearms. Bob trips Joe and sends him into the rails and steps. Ric dropkicks Bob off the apron. Hook exploders Ric then Bob belly to belly suplexes Ric. Bob corner spears Ric. Hook northern lights suplexes Ric.

Hook puts redrum on Ric. He almost has him but Joe sentons both. Joe muscle busters Hook while getting speared by Bob. Ric springboard 450's Bob and Joe. Hook rolls up Ric for 2 then lariats him over the top. Bob is pulled over the top. Ric chairs Bob. Bob gets mad and goes after him. Joe grounded chokes Hook and submits him.

Thoughts: Joe won as expected here. What we got was fine. Ric did his flying and we got a little bit of Bob vs Joe which was good. Ric and Bob are feuding so we knew neither of them were winning here and Joe is currently feuding with Page so he naturally won. And Hook was not winning this no matter what.

Hobbs and Shibata high five Joe after.

Tony Schiavone interviews Samoa Joe. Tony wants to have the contract signing right now. We get a bunch of people in various costumes who come out. Joe says he wants to make sure he's in the safest environment. He tells his crew to make sure he's safe. They beat up the people in costumes.

Joe then signs the contract. Joe says Page won't be a champ soon and he will relieve his burden. Joe says he will be the next champ. Joe and his crew toast with beer and give Tony one. Tony then puts over Adam Page...only it's not Tony. It's Adam Page in disguise. Adam Page beats up The Opps and breaks a beer bottle on Joe's head. Page buckshot lariats Joe then hits mounted shots.

Thoughts: Wow, that was well done and very creative. They hid Page well here so you really couldn't see him get in there. Tony Schiavone deserves a whooping though for being in on this.

Overall thoughts: I liked the show and thought it was good. This was one of the better Dynamites I've seen. We had a cool angle to close the show and The Don Callis Family stuff was fine. There was also a lot of solid wrestling here with nothing being awful and they had a bit of a better line-up than usual. The Halloween theming all throughout also made for a nice touch/ I'd give this a 7 out of 10.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 9/20/2025 N-1 Victory 2025 Day 7

Tadasuke & Takashi Sugiura vs. Jack Morris & Ricky Knight Jr.

Yoshi talks on the mic before the match then the heels attack. Yoshi hits Jack in the gut with his nightstick. Sugi tries to stand on Jack's gut for the pin. Sugi foot chokes Jack in the corner. Thoughts: This one was even shorter than the first. Jack mostly got beaten up here until Rick came in and they made their comeback. It wasn't much of note. Rick hit a bunch of hook kicks in people's mouths here.

Thoughts
: It had some similarities to the Harutoki/Marufuji match. It wasn't as long though and Haru didn't get quite as much in. The result was never in doubt here. This did show some potential though.

Thoughts
: They did a lot of basic technical wrestling here and Ulka did alright with it. It was a pretty average match but it wasn't awful. Ulka looked a little more comfortable here than usual.

Thoughts:
It wasn't that good and there wasn't a lot of structure here. They never go outside to fight during the middle of a match, only in the beginning, so when they did that, it was obvious something was up there. Endo flew a little but Masa didn't use his size against him and the ending was lame.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - Kazuyuki Fujita vs. KENTA

They stare down for a bit. Kaz gets in closer and Ken stalls outside. Ken goes for leg kicks. Kaz misses a shot on the ropes and is slapped. They forearm each other. Kaz shoulders him over. Ken hits jumping facekicks in the corner. Ken tries another and is lariated over. Kaz goes for the powerbomb but can't do it because of his knee. Ken then figure fours Kaz. Kaz ropebreaks. Ken tries to put it back on and is forearmed.

Kaz hits a lariat for 2. Ken ddt's him. Ken does 5 busaiku knees and pins him.

Thoughts
: Kaz actually sold throughout most of this and played his role well. I didn't like the ending. Ken kept hitting busaiku knees and Kaz really wasn't selling them much at all, thought he eventually went down to them. I thought the match made sense with Kenta working the knee to ground him for flying knees. This was easily one of Kaz's better matches ever.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block B Match - Naomichi Marufuji vs. Galeno

Gal shoves Maru over off the lock up. Gal then pulls him down off the lock up. Maru tries to shoulder him and gets nowhere. Gal lepafrogs him then flying shoulders him. Gal chinlocks him. Gal slams him then runs the ropes with a splash for 2.

Maru boots him out of the corner. Maru hits kicks on him. He pumping knees him, Gal no sells it and headbutts him over. Gal running lariats him for 2. Maru rolls him up for the win off of a crab attempt.

Thoughts: I liked this one. It was a decent match here with Galeno using his size on Marufuji and Maru doing various strikes then a surprise roll-up to win. It made sense and they had the logic down here.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - Manabu Soya vs. Kaito Kiyomiya

They lock up and test strength. Soya pushes him down, gets on top of him and KK bridges. KK side headlock takeovers him and is put in a headscissors. They then stand off. Soya shoulders him over. KK elbows him over then elbow drops him for 2. KK is back body dropped over the top rope.

KK dragon screws him then Soya dragon screws him. Soya dragon screws him. Soya headbutts him several times. Soya suplexes him. KK flying knees him. KK shining wizards him for 2. Soya 2nd rope powerslams him for 2. KK hits euros. Soya fires up then running lariats him. KK death valley drivers him.

Soya lariats him for 2. KK shining wizards him from behind then tiger suplexes him for 2. KK half and half bombs him for 2. KK hits a top rope elbow drop and wins.

Thoughts
: They didn't quite dwell into Soya throwing KK around. They showed some spirit and fire here though and they the action going in this. I liked it but there wasn't much of a story here.

Overall thoughts: The top matches delivered while the undercard didn't. Galeno/Marufuji was the best bout here while Kenta/Fujita was also in the running. The main was okay enough. Kitamiya/Endo disappointed and Daga/Uglka was average. Kenoh/Harutoki was a little one-sided and it wasn't their best effort. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 mostly due to the top matches delivering. I would say it was above average.
