Thoughts: It was a bit of random one. They had like a main event style match in the opener here. It was hard hitting and they really stepped things up a bit for this one to try and show off. I liked this match. The story behind this was probably more interesting than the actual match though as it strongly comes across as Sareee didn't like being booed in Stardom and wanted to drop the title before it got worse.

Thoughts: It was a shorter rushed tag. It had a lot of action at a fast pace. It was fine but there wasn't enough time for it to be much else.

Thoughts: It was a hardcore match with a lot of weapons usage here. House of Torture got involved like always and surprisingly, both guys bled. It was alright but not great.

Thoughts: They spoiled it here and made it obvious it was going to a time limit. ELP got his knee worked over a bit. ELP took a nasty bump off the buckles when Tana blocked a hurricanrana. Tana did a Liger style cannonball off the apron outside. It was okay overall.

Thoughts: It was all HoT shenanigans not much else. There was endless interference here and even after half of HoT was sent to the back, the other half then interfered.

Yuya then takes a headkick + tombstone and is pinned.
Thoughts: It didn't quite live up to expectations but it was an entertaining bout. Yuya worked Yuto's arm all throughout as he had injured it years ago. We got a lot of hard shots here but we didn't really get the southern tag format that might have helped this. I think it could have used more near falls as well.

They trade headbutts on their knees then forearm each other. They chop each other and slap each other. Gabe drops him and Yota hits a spear for 1. Yota hits another spear and then crabs him. Gabe then submits.
Thoughts: It went as I expected with them mostly sticking to strikes, spears and lariats. The longer it went though, the less they sold and the less stuff stopped meaning. I thought they overdid it a bit here. I still liked it but it wasn't the world's smartest match and it was more focused on action.
The War Dogs and LIJ come in after. The two groups shake hands for some reason.

Thoughts: The IWGP merry-go-round continues here as we go from Mox > Naito > Zack > Goto>Zack>Takeshita within 2 years. I'm not a fan of it. Takeshita is never going to be around for smaller shows which will hurt them and hurt build to various matches. He's also working so much all over the place that he's just begging to get injured. Him winning the title really comes across like more of an AEW decision than an NJPW decision as that's the only promotion that really benefits from this. I can't stand Evil, but I'd even rather see him be champ than Takeshita.
They got a lot of time. They didn't overdo it much and there was a lot of striking here. Zack did his usual unfocused armwork and KT was really neither the face or the heel here. I just thought the match was average without much of a story to it.
Takeshita talks on the mic after. He brings up fans being mad about him winning. He says they need to complain to his face. Hirooki Goto comes out. He says KT knew he was coming and says he will be the next challenger. KT says he doesn't want to be caught up in his revolution and says his revolution is strength. Takeshita says he knows what it means to hold the title and says you can look forward to it. He then gets confetti.
Overall thoughts: I honestly like the women's match best here and that's not a good considering neither of the two women are around much. The War Dogs 6-man was fine. Sanada/Moloney was also an acceptable hardcore match. I liked the TMDK 6-man but we didn't get that much of it. ELP/Tana wasn't as good as it would have been a few years ago and they spoiled it by bringing up the time limits. Oleg/Evil was a joke. The IWGP Tag Title match wasn't bad but didn't hit my high expectations. I liked Gabe/Yota some but it went a little long for their skill level. I thought the main was just average. The big stories were Takeshita and Syuri winning here and that's a problem since neither will be doing the usual NJPW loop anytime soon. I'd give this one a low 6 out of 10 and didn't think we got anything great here. It was a little above average.
