Around the Ring with Gia Miller

Judas Icarus is this week's guest. Gia says he looks on edge. JI says he walks a fine line at all times. Gia wants to talk about the movie app called Letterboxd. JI puts over the site and explains it. He says his top 4 movies are Violence, The Father, Little Miss Sunshine and Manchester by the Sea. Gia calls him a filmophile. 

Raj Singh comes out and says he wants to speak from the heart. He talks about a new movie that stars his dad called, Singh's in the Ring. He then brings his dad, Gama Singh out. Gama says he has fond memories of Edmonton. He says the people didn't cheer for him but he still loves them. He says he's proud of his son and talks about his movie. He thanks everyone for the memories. The crowd chants, "Thank you, Gama". We then see clips of the movie.

Raj Singh vs Harlon Abbott 

They lock up. Har side headlocks him and shoulders him over.  Raj armdrags him and hits punches. Raj hits a corner lariat and a bulldog. Har hits kicks and a step up enzugiri. Raj misses a corner charge and is hit with an enzugiri. Har release suplexes him for 2.

Har stomps on him. Raj boots him out of the corner and Har backdrops him for 2. Raj shoulders him over and back body drops him. Raj shakes the ropes. Raj 2nd rope back elbows him for 2. Raj germans him then olympic slams him for 2. 

Har rolls him up for 2. Gama Singh trips Har outside then Raj twisting ddt's him from his shoulder and pins him.

Thoughts: The ending was cute with Gama and Raj cheating to win. It was an average and a random match that was mostly here to shill Gama's new movie.  

Overall thoughts: There was only one new match and interview as usual along with various recaps, random old matches and merch shilling. The one match had a nice ending but was average otherwise. There was nothing you needed to see here.
