NWA Tag Titles - Blunt Force Trauma (Carnage and Damage) (c) vs Tim Storm and Jax Dane

They spelled Tim's name as "Time" in the graphic. Damage has the tattoos and Carnage doesn't. BFG attack before the bell and before Aron Stevens even gets out of the ring. Dane and Tim hit shots on BFT in the corner. BFT are sent into each other and take stereo slams. Tim goes for a claw and Carn goes out.

Aron distracts Dane. Carn takes a double hiptoss. Carn is suplexed in and the match finally begins. Carn is sent into the steps by Carn. Carn stomps on Dane outside. Carn clubs on Dane and rakes his eyes. Carn chinlocks Dane.

Dane samoan drops Carn. Tim and Dam get in. Tim lariats Dam and back elbows him. Tim hits a big boot on both BFT members. Carn accidentally runs into the ref. Aron Stevens loaded punches Dane. Tim claw Dam. Aron hits loaded punches on Tim. Tim blocks Aron then Damage rolls up Tim and pins him.

Thoughts: It was on the shorter end and wasn't anything too special. This had a lot of shenanigans in it with Aron interfering before, during and after the match. BFT won as expected.

Mims talks. He says James Mitchell talked about Mims getting pinned by Max. Mims says if you pin him, you can do the impossible. He says he has a chance to rewrite history. He says he will smash his 6th title defense and unify the television titles. He says he will then be the undisputed television champ. He says he doesn't need another belt. 

He says he's got more defense to get the Lucky 7 then he can get an NWA World Title shot. He says that's the type of history he wants to start.

May Valentine interviews Matt Cardona. Matt says tonight is the ultimate match of death. He says he came to the company to save the NWA and be the champ. He says he's the real champ and says there's no way EC3 is taking his crown. He says everyone will know he's the champ and the death match king. 

NWA Women's Title - Kenzie Paige (c) vs Tiffany Nieves

Tiff grabs the title and holds it up pre-match. 

They lock up. Ken works her arm. Tiff side headlocks her and takes her over. Ken ties her arm up and armlocks the other. Ken wristlocks her. Tiff rolls  and reverses it. Ken cartwheels and they each go for an armdrag at the same time. 

Ken armdrags her and struts. They shove each other and reverse hiptoss attempts. Ken backslides her but TIff rolls through. Tiff rolls her up for 2. Ken cradles her and they roll around reversing cradle attempts. 

They each give each other the finger. Ken bites the finger. Tiff kicks her off the buckles and poses then Ken pulls her down. Tiff's head is banged off the buckles. Ken pulls her down with her feet. Ken kicks her in the back. Ken goes for a headscissors and takes a spinning side slam.

Tiff boots her in the gut. Tiff suplexes her. Tiff sits on her on the ropes. Ken la mistica drops her into a crossface. Tiff tries a pin attempt off of it. Tiff handstand headscissors her. They trade chops. Ken spin kicks her in the gut then Tiff spinebusters her. Tiff half crabs her and Ken ropebreaks.

Ken grabs her title belt. The ref takes it. Ken then sprays Tiff in the eyes with hair spray, cutters her and wins.

Thoughts: It had your usual sloppy moments here and Ken won via cheating. They tried and I did like it overall but it could have been cleaner. Ken was working hard to be a heel here and Tiff could have done more as a face.

EC3 is interviewed. He says death hangs above us all and is life's finishing move. He says him and Cardona are about to spill blood for the ultimate prize. He says it's fight night and he declares he will retain the title. He says if he dies, he will be resurrected in 3 days a she is over, man.

NWA Title - Ultimate Match of Death - EC3 (c) vs Matt Cardona

 

EC is in camo and they have a golden door outside. They lock up and EC thesz presses him. Matt takes chops. EC has him in the ddt position and throws him backwards. EC throws a gold chair and a door in.

Matt chairs EC. The crowd chants for another and EC tells him to do it again. EC fires up and blocks a chair shot. EC then hits his own chair shot. Matt is back body dropped through a door. 

Matt chops him outside then kicks the rope into EC's crotch. Matt throws chairs at EC's head, sending him through a table. EC is busted open and they put the screen in black and white. Matt grabs a photo and frame of EC and Dixie Carter. He ddt's EC through it. Matt puts glass from the photo in EC's head. Matt hits him in the gut and back with the chair. Matt chokes EC with wrist tape. Matt throws a chair in the back of EC's head. 

EC jawbreakers Matt and lariats him. Matt throws a chair in EC's face. Matt broski boot's a chair into EC's face for 2. Matt swings a chair and it rebounds off the rope into his face. Matt is then sent into a chair between the buckles. Matt is now bleeding. EC's throat is pulled down over the top. EC thesz presses him through a door. EC throws a chair in his face. 

Matt backdrops him on a stack of door pieces for 2. Matt grabs a guitar and hits him in the head with it. Matt then hits a stroke for 2. Matt pours action figures on the mat. 

Matt shoves action figures into EC's head. Matt hits mounted corner punches then Matt is powerbombed onto the toys for 2. EC pours tacks on the mat and is low blowed. Matt hits radio silence for 2. Matt grabs light tubes outside and goes for a shot but EC low blows him. EC hits him with the light tubes, hits a stroke and does a grounded cobra clutch to win.

Thoughts: It was a weapons based match. They didn't go too far over the top so it was fine but it wasn't anything too wild. The black and white video made this harder to watch and harder to tell what was going on at times. It also definitely hurt some of the drama with the blood since we couldn't clearly see it.
Overall thoughts: It was an okay episode. The opener was a little disappointing and didn't deliver as much as I had hoped. Paige/Tiffany was alright overall but had some sloppy moments. The main was the best thing on here but it was mostly a hardcore based match. The black and white video filter made it harder to watch and defeated the purpose of the blood. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall.
