Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/nwa-powerrr-10282025.html
Danny Dealz and Joe Galli are on commentary.
We have a new intro. This show will cover some of NWA 77.
NWA Junior Heavyweight Title - Alex Taylor (c) vs Rich Swann
They lock up and Alex shoves him in the corner. Alex snapmares him. Rich kips up and down out of a wristlock then armdrags him. Rich dances and is knocked out of the ring. Rich cannonballs him off the apron then tope con hilos him outside. Alex then topes him.
Rich jawbreakers him then is pulled off the buckles. Rich is flipped off a back body drop for 2. Alex tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him for 2. Rich cradles him then Alex backrolls him into a rings of saturn. Rich boots him off the ropes and rolls into a flying lariat. Rich hits punches and a spinning neckbreaker.
Rich is belly to belly overhead suplexed into the buckles for 2. Rich's nose is busted open. Alex double throat thrusts him. Rich hits a lethal injection then top rope splashes him for 2. Rich 450's him off the buckles for 2. Alex cradle shocks him and wins.
Thoughts: I liked it. As I said last time we saw Rich, you watch stuff like this and can see why he made TNA and WWE. He can really move and hit everything so clean. Alex got the win here as expected. Rich really got messed up near the end here as his nose got busted open and he had a gigantic wad of spit on the side of his face.
The Colon's do a promo. Primo says they have may have taken a sabbatical after they lost at The Crockett Cup. Primo says they are here to become #1 contenders and says that's a promise.
Mondo does a promo outside. He asks if Mims knows what he's getting himself into. He says he's big and bad but says he's Mike Mondo. He says the ring is his sandbox and that's where he plays 24/7. He says Mims is stepping in the ring with a wrestling machine when he faces him. He says Mims has no chance. He says it's his time, it's Mondo time.
Aron Stevens and Carson Drake talk. Aron says The Holy Grail face them next week. He says he's not a trained wrestler but it doesn't mean that he can't do as much damage as he needs to. Drake says they are just donkeys at The Derby. The Slimeballz come in and make fun of PB Smooth's name. Aron gets them out of it here by promising cookies and asks why Drake keeps them around.
#1 Contender's Elimination Tag - The Nightmare Syn (Frank and Zyon) and Blunt Force Trauma (Damage and Carnage) vs The Colon's (Primo and Epico) and The Slimeballs (Sage Chantz and Tommy Rant)
If one person gets pinned, their partner is eliminated too. Sage and Frank go at it then Sage tries to tag out. Damage gets in and is double booted in the corner. Carnage tries to save him. Zyon foot chokes Damage. Zyon euros Damage and Aron Stevens trips Zyon. Damage rolls up Zyon and pins him.
Bryan Idol does a promo as we go to break. He says the NWA TV Title is what this company was built on. He says he faces Joe Ocasio tonight. He says Joe is dangerous and great. He says he wants him to ask who will save him tonight. He says looks kill and so do I.
We return from break and Aron punches out his own partner Damage for unknown reasons. Damage is then pinned. Sage goes up against Primo and Primo slaps him. Rant gets in and headbangs. Rant spins on Primo and is lariated for it. Rant backdrops him into a side slam. Primo is double clubbed on then double team double chopped down for 1.
Primo knees Sage in gut. Sage enzugiri's him. Sage is distracted by Primo then takes a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from Epico. Epico backbreakers him. Sage ducks a dropkick but gets landed on. Primo legsweeps Sage. Primo slides down Safe's back on the ropes then Epico slingshot swantons Sage.
Sage hits back elbows. Primo hits a backdrop, a german and a vertical suplex for 2. Sage bites Primo then Primo throws him in. Primo comes off the 2nd rope and Sage gets his feet up. Rant comes in and spinning lariats Epico. He back body drops him and atomic drops him. Rant hits shots to the gut then headbutts him.
Rant sentons him. Sage is rocket launched onto Epico for 2. Rant lariats Primo over the top and goes with him. Aron Stevens gets in the ring. Sage is thrown into him. Epico hits a straightjacket backcracker and pins him to win.
Thoughts: The big story here was Aron Stevens purposely costing BFT the match. That made no sense and is going to need to some serious explanation to try and sell. The Slimes were entertaining like usual. We didn't really get much of this all 4 team in this which wasted some of the concept. It was about average.
Thom Latimer does a promo. He says he did battle with El Dragon last week. He said he walked straight up to that monster and slayed him. He says he is asked about the match with Silas Mason. He said he slayed one dragon and will slay another. He says he expects Silas to bring it, because he is.
The Pope is interviewed. Pope says it's an honor to be here. He says due to injuries from Mondo and Slade, he is not cleared to compete. He says a foolish man operates blind but a wise man gives thought to himself. He says he will deal with it in time. Pope says he's not done with Mims but he will be nothing but a speed bump when he is. He says his final destination is to become the NWA World champ.
We go to The Paige House with Kenzie Paige and Tommy Henry. Joe Galli says there will be a street fight between NWA JCP and NWA Crossfire. Galli says Joe Cazana is sabotaging Tommy's promotion. Tommy says it's not a feud, it's a war between two families. He says his goal at NWA 77 is to bust Joe open. Ken says Joe is abusing his power. Galli says Ken will be defending her title at NWA 77. She says NWA 77 is just an attack on her family. Tommy tells her to focus on keeping her title. They look at Kylie Paige and Hunter talking at the pool outside. Kenzie says she had to run the company with Kylie out. Kenzie says Kylie needs to learn a lesson and pushes Tommy. Kenzie says she can't trust Kylie or Hunter and says if you can't trust your sister, who can you trust?
NWA Television Title - Bryan Idol (c) vs Joe Ocasio
Idol waistlock takedowns him and goes for a pin. Joe waistlock takedowns him and spins on his back. Joe shoulders him over. Idol armdrags him and jumping knees him in the corner. Idol double underhook suplexes him for 1. Joe back elbows him and splashes him for 1.
Joe corner lariats Idol then corner enzugiri's him. Joe short arm clotheslines him twice. Idol forearms him over for 2. Joe pumping knees him. Joe cradles him but Idol holds on and suplex neckbreakers him. Joe is on the apron and Idol spears him down to the floor.
We go to break. EC3, PB Smooth and Pastor C-Lo talk. They talk about NWA 77. EC says their path starts with Carson Drake and Aron Stevens there.
Hammerstone does a promo. He says imagine the excitement he had when he found out he would debut against Silas Mason. He said the crowd was behind him and knew who he was. He said he would have won the match won but Silas' goons cost him that. He said Kerry Morton was one of them. He says he's coming back to the NWA and says nobody is coming to save Kerry Morton next week.
Tiffany Nieves talks outside. She says she's not coming alone at NWA 77. She says she's facing Serena Deville. She says she is the 1% and conquers in a day what it takes others a lifetime to accomplish. She then grabs some large girl named Greta. She says she loves the NWA as small people like Greta make the world go around. She says Greta doesn't know what she will do for her and she says she appreciates her so much.
We return and Idol gets a 2 count on Joe. Joe overhead suplexes him and running battering rams him for 2. They trade shots. Idol superkicks him. Idol double jump moonsaults him for 2. Idol hits a twisting killswitch and wins.
Thoughts: It was a random one and there was no reason to believe Joe was winning here as he hadn't been seen for 2 months. It was average. Idol was in a little better shape here than he has been. Idol hit a stiff looking suplex neckbreaker on the knee here and the big spot was the spear off the apron to the floor.
Overall thoughts: It was your usual NWA Powerrr show. 2 of the 3 matches were random and nothing was particularly great. We got no Bitcrush updates or updates on who is receiving the inheritance money. We did get a bunch of promos/talking segments though to build up future stuff. Taylor/Swann was fine. The Slimeballz were entertaining as usual in the elimination tag, but Aron Stevens got his own team eliminated for no obvious reason which will need some explanation. The main was average. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend it.
