Cedric Alexander & Leon Slater vs. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)

Myron Reed is on commentary for this. 

Ced waistlock takedowns Zach. Ced wristlocks him, Zach rolls and backflips then armdrags him.Ced takes an atomic drop and is held for a baseball slide. The four trade punches. We go to break and return.

Zach chinlocks Leo then step up knees him in the corner. Leon is hit with kicks and a double stomp for 2. Ced comes in and hits lariats on Zach. He germans him twice. Ced forearms him then bridging twisting neckbreakers him. Ced hits a michinoku dirver for 2. Leon comes off the top and runs into a jumping knee. Leon takes a superkick into a crucifix bomb for 2. 

Zach crossbodies Ced over the top. Leon hits a plancha outside. Leon takes a top rope swanton + pedgiree combo for 2. Leon's head is superkicked into the buckles. Ced stops a double team move. Zach is pushed into a big german from Ced. Ced release germans Trey then topes Zach outside. Leon swanton 450's Trey and wins.

Thoughts: This got cut up by the break but what we got was fast, stiff and had a lot of flying. It was an okay opener here.  The swanton/pedigree move The Rascalz did here was cool.

Myron Reed gets in the ring after and gets in the face of Leon.

Jake Something and Frankie Kazarian are interviewed. Kaz says he feels like a divine being as Jake has realized he is the be all, end all. He says Jake feels he will be something by watching him. Kaz says he's sick of Maclin's GI Joe routine and will take his title at Victory Road. He says he brought in Ken Anderson to TNA and will take him out. He says he will remember the name, "Mr. Kazarian".

We see clips from NXT where the big NXT vs TNA brawl broke out. They ask what happens next as all out war seems to have broken out. 

Eric Young calls Santino a puppet and tells him he will put him against Joe Hendry. Santino says he's lucky he doesn't fire him for attacking the ref. Eric calls him a puppet and says do it or else. He said corporate requested Eric Young vs Joe Hendry at Victory Road. Eric calls him a puppet.

Victoria Crawford vs Jody Threat

Jody runs around the ring during her entrance. 

Jody side headlocks her then shoulders her over. Jody hits corner lariats. Jody overhead suplexes her. Jody is tripped into the bottom rope. Vice basement drpkicks Jody then hits mounted shots. Vic facekicks Jody for 2.

Vic elbows the arm. Jody hits chops then hits lariats. Jody running facekicks her and Vic really whiplashes into the ropes. Jody germans her. Music then hits and Tessa Blanchard appears on the stage. Jody is distracted and Vic hits a scissors kick to win.

Thoughts: Vic really bumped for Jody here and really got beaten up. It was a short one with a dirty finish.

Joe Hendry does a promo. He says his match with Eric Young is official. He says Eric helped him put the pieces together and how to be good at wrestling. He says he got too successful for Eric's liking. He says Eric is turning his back on his own values. He says Eric will find out why the entire world chants "We Believe".

The System do a promo. Eddie says it's a Hardcore War with them and Order 4 at Victory Road. Myers says JDC will be at Victory Road. Moose says he has proved he doesn't need his family to win matches but says Ali hasn't proved that. He challenges Ali to leave his crew in the back and wants to see if Ali can beat him 1v1. Moose says he will beat his @ss around the ring and says he will show why you always trust The System. 

Call Your Shot Gauntlet Qualifying Battle Royal

AJ Francis talks on the mic before his match. He says he only speaks money, money, money. He said he wore Anthony Edwards shoes as he is in Minnesota. He says he won't get eliminated early like his team did though. He says he only sees losers and broads in the ring. He says it's always money over the honey's. He says if it don't make dollars, it don't make sense and says it's money, money, money. He says Xia looks like a kid and tells Mara Sade hands off the merchandise. Rosemary gets in AJ's face and AJ says he'd chokeslam the sh!t out of her. Rose green mists AJ and everyone stomps on AJ. Aj is then thrown out.

Eeryone pairs off in the corners. Ryan Nemeth chokes Home Town Man on the bottom buckle. Killer Kelly lariats Mara Sade over the top for the elimination. Kelly takes a spinning high kick. Lei Ying Lee puts her on the apron and Xia Brookside high kicks Kelly off the apron.

Rosemary double spears Xia and Lee. Rose tries to mist Mance Warner but is hit and thrown out. Matt Cardona jumps up and takes a sitout powerbomb from Mance. Xia and Lee pound on Mance together. Mance double lariats them. Home Town Man hits punches on Mance. Mance takes one of his jerseys but Home has another one. Cardona and Home hit punches on Mance. Home corner lariats Mance and Cardona broski boots Mance. Cardona and Home are sent to the apron. They go for a double suplex but Ryan Nemeth pulls both down for the double elimination.

Xia tries to headscissor Mance but Ryan pushes Xia down to the floor for the elimination. Lee hits forearms on Ryan and spin kicks him in the gut. Ryan eye rakes her. Ryan is pulled over the top by Lee and eliminated. Mance and Lee are the final two. Lee hits shots on him then flying chest kicks him.

Lee hits mounted corner shots on Mance. Mance facekicks Lee off the apron and wins.

Thoughts: It being a battle royale was a little more believable but it was hard to buy the smaller girls being able to do anything to the bigger guys. It didn't go on too long at least. 

TNA Injury Report

Moose is cleared to compete as is Mike Santana. Mr. Anderson is cleared.  

Mickie James and The Beautiful People are being inducted to the TNA Hall of Fame. 

We get a video on Mike Santana. We see him walk around New York and hear voiceovers from his daughter and dad.

Santino Marella is in the ring. He says we will have something historic and epic. He says he is going to share the ring with tag team royalty. He says it will be the final match between The Hardy Boyz and Team 3D. He says we will have some final negotiations.

Santino brings The Hardy Boyz and Team 3D out. Santino says it's a special mome for him. Bubba says The Hardy's can talk first. Matt says 2 of the greatest teams of all time are in the ring. Matt says TNA has been white hot. Matt says a lot of fans consider them the best tag team of all time but he says he can't catch up with them as the most decorated team of all time. Matt says they need to beat them. 

Bubba says they made history with them. The fans chant "TLC". Devon asks if Jeff rmemebers when they hung in the air and says never again. Matt says they fell off a ladder and went through 4 tables. Bubba asks how they are all still alive. Jeff says whatever the match is, it'll be epic. Devon then says "testify". 

Bubba calls his team "The Dudley Boys" which they had copyright issues with since it's outside of WWE. Bubba says they are here for business and a negotiation. Bubba says he's happy to hear them say that they need them as it's the truth. Matt says it's true. Matt says they are the two GOAT's. Matt says they will call them the greatest of all time if they beat them. Matt asks if they will do the same if The Hardy's win.

Bubba asks what they have to offer them as they aren't doing this for nothing. Matt says they will put up the TNA Titles. Matt says they need them one final time. Santino asks if the fans want to see the titles on the line. Santino says the titles will be on the line. Bubba says they will agree but say the titles come back to Dudleyville if they win. 

The fans chant "TLC". Bubba says "no". Bubba says they made history 25 years ago in the first ever tag team tables match in NY. Bubba says the tables match is their thing and The Hardy's won. Bubba says they need them as much as they need them. Bubba says it bothered them as NY is their backyard and they beat them. Bubba then asks that it be made a tables match. 

Santino says let's make it official. Bubba says they don't need to sign a contract, they need to shake hands. Bubba tells Devon to rip the contract up and they all shake hands. 

Thoughts: I wasn't sure what we were getting here but it was a nice little segment. 

Order 4 talk in the back. Ali says he's the type of tired that sleep can't fix. He says he's tired of The System. He complains about them trying to add a stip to their match. He says actions have consequences. Skylar says it'll be them unleashing the consequences. Hotch says The System isn't a family, this is what a family looks like. Tasha asks if they want to know something - she says united they stand and divided, you fall. Ali says he accepts Moose's challenge to leave his crew behind. He says he won't leave anything to chance though. Ali says the winner of their match should get in the advantage in Hardcore War. Ali then asks if Moose is man enough. He says it's not The System they trust, he says it's in Ali they trust.

The System walk in. The two sides stare down and the segment ends.

Mr. Anderson & Steve Maclin vs. Frankie Kazarian & Jake Something

SM holds the mic on a chair over top Anderson so he can do his lines. Anderson then does his line.

Kaz tags out to avoid SM. Jake side headlocks then shoulders SM over. SM elbows him over. SM hits corner chops. Jake forearms him in the neck from behind. SM hits forearms and Jake hits a thesz press. 

Kaz tags in. Anderson hits shots on Kaz and bangs his head off the buckles. Anderson corner splashes Kaz then back body drops him. Kaz takes a double back elbow then a knee drop. Jake takes a double lariat over the top. Kaz and Jake stall.

Kaz is slingshotted in. Kaz chops SM. SM lariats him for 2. Anderson kicks Kaz in the ribs. Kaz eye rakes him, spin kicks him and lariats him. Kaz hits mounted corner punches. Jake comes in without tagging in and bangs Anderon's face off the mat. 

Kaz boots Anderson in the corner and slams him. Kaz then legdrops him. Kaz suplexes Anderson for 2. Anderson is double teamed. We go to break and return. 

SM and Jake are tagged in. SM lariats Jake then thesz presses him with punches. SM flying knees Kaz. SM corner lariats his opponents and germans Kaz. Jake is put in tree of woe. Kaz nails SM outside.

Jake corner spears SM inside then lariats him. Jake chinlocks SM. SM jawbreakers him. They double clothesline each other. Anderson back elbows Kaz then neckbreakers him. Anderson finlay rolls Kaz for 2. Kaz goes for deadeye but Anderson slips out and hits a flatliner for 2.

SM and Jake trade forearms. Kaz tries to pin Anderson with his feet on the ropes. Kaz codebreakers Anderson then sliding lariats him. Kaz springboard legdrops Anderson for 2. Anderson chickenwing's Kaz and Jake breaks it. 

Anderson back body drops Jake. SM low topes Jake outside then olympic slams Kaz. SM hits his crosshairs spears on Kaz. Jake is pushed into Kaz and Anderson flatliners Jake. SM hits a KIA on Kaz and wins.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and was about average. It was acceptable and all. It was a lose-lose booking wise as both teams needed a win here and someone had to lose. We'll have to see if Anderson comes back full-time or this was just a one night thing.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't one of my more favorite editions of Impact. The opener was probably the highlight wrestling wise. I liked the Team 3D/Hardy's segment but I do feel they intentionally tried to kill some time with it. I didn't like the intergender battle royale and Crawford/Threat was not that good as expected. Mr. Anderson returned in the main and the match was just acceptable and nothing too amazing. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10 overall.
