5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Saya Iida vs. Yuria Hime

They lock up. Saya side headlocks her. Saya shoulders her over. Hime hits chops then Saya chops back. Saya hits a chop flurry. Saya sits on her and chops her. Hime dropkicks her then hits her own mounted forearms. Hime headscissors her and Saya ropebreaks.

Hime facekicks her on the ropes. Hime hits boots to the face. Saya chops her down. Hime running facekicks her three times. Hime dropkicks her then leg lariats her for 2. 

Hime hits the devil's kiss on Saya. Saya suplexes her. Hime hits a big slap then Saya lariats her. Saya running lariats her for 2. Saya hits another running lariat and wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter but decent match here. They showed some fire and everything they did looked fine. Saya hit some nice lariats and Hime did well despite her experience level. It was a good choice for the opener. 

Saya talks to her on the mic after, they hug and then Saya hits a big chop on her.  They then bow together.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Tomoka Inaba vs. Rian

Ri running dropkicks her several times to start. Ri rolls her up for 2 three times. Ri armdrags her. Ri is tripped into the buckles and kicked. TI pump kicks her. TI rolls her up for 2. TI hits elbows to the back of the neck then headscissors her. 

Ri hits chest forearms. TI hits chest forearms and Ri crossbodies her. Ri headscissors her and basement dropkicks her. TI snapmares her and kicks her in the back. TI side headlocks her on the mat. 

TI hits shots to the gut. Ri escapes a slam and sleepers her. Ri top rope crossbodies her for 2. TI hits a straight punch to the gut then sitout gordbusters her. Ri rolls her up for 2 then flips over her back with a pin attempt for 2. Ri fisherman suplexes her for 2.

TI pump kicks her then spinning high kicks her for 2. TI PK's her and wins.

Thoughts: It was alright. Rian got a decent bit of offense in and was okay as the underdog before she got put down. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Waka Tsukiyama vs. Lady C

The shake hands. Waka stomps her foot and cradles her for 2. C running facekicks her then neckbreakers her for 2. Waka rolls her up for 2 then gets on her back. C giant swings her for 2.

C stomps on Waka. Waka steamroller trips her then hip attacks her on the ropes for 2. Waka goes up top and is hit. Waka uppercuts her then butt drops her for 2. Waka is dropped chest first on the mat. C does a grounded cobra twist. 

Waka hits chest forearms. C hits a big forearm then Waka crossbodies her for 2. Waka top rope dropkicks her for 2. C hits a big forearm. Waka no sells it then takes a uranage for 2.

C running facekicks her. Waka then rolls her up from behind and pins her.

Thoughts: It went a bit longer than expected. I don't love Waka but you can't say she doesn't try to win, she just doesn't win very much. C could have been a bit better here and didn't provide a lot in this one. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Miyu Amasaki vs. Aya Sakura

They side headlock each other. Aya misses a dropkick and takes a basement dropkick. Miyu running euros her for 2. Aya hits chest forearms then running dropkicks her. Aya spinning heel kicks her in the corner and kicks her in the back for 2. They trade chest kicks for chest forearms. 

Aya suplexes her then hits more chest kicks. Miyu blocks a kick and suplexes her off of it. Miyu pendulum ddt's her for 2. Miyu lifting ddt's her. Miyu tries it again, Aya hooks the leg and pins her.

Thoughts: They did okay with the time they had but they didn't get much of it. We just kind of got past the opening part of the match and then it ended suddenly. I would have liked to have seen more of this.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Sareee vs. Momo Kohgo

Momo running dropkicks her and hits a chest forearm flurry. Sare hits more chest forearms then slams her. Sare crabs her. Momo ropebreaks. Sare basement dropkicks her and foot chokes her in the corner. Momo pulls her throat down over the top and springboard dropkicks her. Momo 619's her for 2. 

They each hit chest forearms. Momo hits a flurry of chest forearms and Sare chest forearms her down. Momo dropkicks her for 2. Sare dropkicks her through the ropes. Momo tries pin attempts. Sare wheelbarrow germans her. 

Sare fisherman suplexes her for 2. Sare double stomps her off the buckles. Sare overhead uranages Momo then sits on her chest to pin her.

Thoughts: I suppose it was kind of a squash but I liked it. Momo showed fire and fought hard before being put down.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Hina vs. HANAKO

Hana facekicks her to start then does it again. Hina running dropkicks her then Hana shoulders her over. Hana slams her. Hana crabs her and Hina ropebreaks. They trade chest forearms. Hana lariats her on the ropes and takes a hip throw. Hina running dropkicks her for 2.

Hina half crabs her then turns it into an stf. Hana samoan drops her then hits a corner splash. Hana backdrops her for 2. Hina trips her into another STF. Hana rope breaks.

Hina hits three STO's for 2. They fight on the buckles and Hana superplexes her. Hana then holds on and does another. Hina then kind of jackhammers her off of it for 2. Hina then wins with a top rope frogsplash.

Thoughts: There wasn't a ton of story here. Hina tried some STF's though. I didn't think it as anything special but Hina hit her stuff clean and was okay.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Suzu Suzuki vs. Ranna Yagami

Ran dropkicks her during intros and hits shots. Suzu hair throws her then Ran hair throws her. Suzu snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Ran does the same and PK's her for 2. Ran goes for an armbar. 

They trade chest forearms. Ran hits a flurry. Suzu forearms her down then Ran hits chest forearms. Ran hits chest kicks  then Suzu buckle bombs her. Suzu running knees her in the corner. 

Suzu half-nelson drops her for 2. Ran chest kicks her down. Ran kicks her in the back for 2. Ran pulls on both of Suzu's arms and Suzu ropebreaks. Ran hits forearms and Suzu forearms back. They high kick each other at the same time. Ran leg lariats her for 2.

Ran goes up on the buckles and Suzu sitout powerbombs her. Suzu buzzsaw kicks her and superkicks her. Ran hits a high kick then Suzu germans her. Suzu high kicks her and then does a tequila shot for 2. Suzu delay germans her and pins her.

Thoughts: It didn't get a ton of time but they made good use of what they had. It was all fighting here with Ran going for the upset. We had a lot of strikes in this one. I liked it. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Hanan vs. Yuna Mizumori

Yuna gets a 2 count on her early. Han backslides her and does a pin attempt for 2. Yuna 2nd rope shoulderblocks her. Yuna legdrops her for 2. Yuna is sent over the top but she skins the cat in. Hana hip throws her. Yuna then rolls her into an octopus.

Han 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. Han fameassers her for 2. Han hits a nice cuty special for 2. Yuna hits a bunch of forearms. Han hits a forearm flurry then Yuna chest slaps her. Yuna does a neckbreaker and a sliding lariat for 2. Han twisting ddt's her for 2.

Yuna cradle shocks her for 2. Han backdrops her. Han gets a 2 count on her then Yuna lariats her for 2. Han then does a pin attempt and gets the win.

Thoughts: They had a fast pace match here. He didn't go too long and I was fine with it. Han did a rare skinning the cat spot in this one and had a nice cuty special. The two matched up pretty well.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - AZM vs. Sayaka Kurara

Saya running dropkicks her then dropkicks her in the corner. AZM running dropkicks her. AZM snapmares her and kicks her in the back. AZM basement dropkicks her then does an armbar. Saya ropebreaks.

Saya hits a nice dropkick then misses a springboard. AZM basement dropkicks her. Saya 2nd rope twisting forearms her. Saya 2nd rope dropkicks her. AZM drops her with a forearm flurry. Saya twisting neckbreakers her for 2. 

Saya is up top and armdragged down. AZM PK's her and double stomps her for 2. AZM cranks Saya's arm back. AZM top rope dropkicks Saya for 2. Saya pulls AZM down with a sleeper. AZM rope breaks.

AZM rolls her into a suplex. Saya hits a very hard spear. Saya low flying knees her for 2. AZM cradles her for 2. AZM hits a buzzsaw kick for 2. AZM top rope double stomps Saya for another close 2. AZM tries to roll her into a pin but is reversed. Saya hits a spear and then gets a surprise pin on her to win.

Thoughts: I liked this one. It was fast. Saya was aggressive in trying to win and the two both stiffed each other. Saya hit a nasty spear here that made AZM ice her ribs up after. It was nice to see Saya get the upset win as well. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Natsupoi vs. Starlight Kid

They go face to face. Poi spin kicks her. Kid dropkicks her in the knee then stomps the knee. Kid wraps the leg around the bottom rope and pulls. Kid dragon screws the leg around the 2nd rope. Kid stands on the knee then standing moonsaults it. Kid goes for the stretch muffler and Poi ropebreaks. 

Poi armdrags her then basement dropkicks her. Kid hits a big forearm as Poi charges at her. Kid dropkicks her in the knee. Poi hits chest forearms and Kid 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. Poi dropkicks her against the ropes then dropkicks her through the ropes. 

Poi is up top and Kid springboard dropkicks her. They fight on the apron and Kid is german'd on it. Poi goes up top and plancha's her and some seconds outside.

Poi goes for a cartwheel splash off the top but Kid gets her knees up. Kid basement dropkicks her. Kid then top rope 180 splashes her for 2. Poi rolls her into a la magistral but Kid reverses the pin attempt. Poi ranhei's her for 2. Poi hits a top rope cartwheel splash for 2.

Kid rolls her into a tiger suplex for 2. Kid goes for the stretch muffler. Poi eventually escapes it. Poi hits spin kicks then Kid blocks a spin kick to the head. Kid stretch mufflers her again. Poi then rolls her into a pin and wins.

Thoughts: It was alright. Kid worked the leg early. They didn't do anything with it until the end of the match when they started working on it again and Poi got the submission off the stretch muffler. I think it was enough but it wasn't the best match they could have had.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Ami Sourei vs. Bozilla

They back each other up on the ropes. Ami chops her and they shoulder battle. Boz shoulders her over then corner splashes her. Boz suplexes her then hits a senton for 2. Boz running lariats her and they lariat battle. Boz backbreakers her and misses a vader bomb. Ami sliding lariats her for 2.

Ami splashes her form behind on the ropes. Ami hits chops while Boz is between the ropes. Ami then splashes her there for 2. Boz misses a corner charge and is splashed. Ami racks her but Boz escapes.

Boz headbutts and lariats her for 2. Ami back body drops Boz. Boz sunset flips her and picks her up for a styles clash off of it. Boz then gets a 2 count. Boz grounded sleepers her. 

They fight on the apron. Ami headbutts her there. Ami then crossbodies her off the apron twice. Ami suplexes her for 2. Boz powerbombs her. Boz hits a big release german that Ami no sells. Ami then lariats her for 2. Boz samoan drops her for 2. Boz climbs the buckles and Ami stops her. Ami powerbombs her down. Ami corner lariats her then does a big landslide for the win.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was a good heavyweight battle. Both girls took big bumps and Boz went splat pretty hard there on the finish. I don't like Boz losing though.

They talk on the mic after. Ami calls her "rival" and offers a handshake. Boz says she will always remember this and says what happened today won't happen again. Ami then talks more on the mic after.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Bea Priestley vs. Saya Kamitani

They lock up. Saya takes her down and hits mounted shots. BP then hits her own. They do a side headlock > headscissors > stand off spot. BP headscissors her but Saya cartwheels out. Saya flying headscissors her and dropkicks her. 

Saya sends BP into the seats outside. Saya tries to throw a chair in to sit on but struggles to get it in. BP then facekicks her while she's on the chair. BP boots her head. Saya dropkicks BP as she runs the ropes.

Saya crossbodies her off the apron. Saya hits a top rope dropkick for 2. BP suplexes her for 2 and does a grounded sleeper. Saya ropebreaks. Saya pump kicks her on the ropes. Saya spinning heel kicks her then BP hits a ddt. BP pumping knees her for 2. 

They fight up top and BP falcon arrows her down for 2. Saya ki krushers her for 2. BP hits an abdominal stretch bomb. They trade forearms and Saya pump kicks her. BP germans her. Saya no sells it then is lariated. BP falcon arrows her for 2. 

BP misses a corner charge then corner uranage's Saya. They fight on the buckles. BP double stomps her off the buckles. BP then ocean cyclone suplexes her and wins.

Thoughts: I would have liked to have seen the 2nd rope falcon arrow finish things. I thought it was an average match with it not being particular special or bad.

BP talks on the mic. She thanks her for the match and says maybe she will see her in a red belt title match. 

Overall thoughts: I liked the show as a whole. Ami/Bozilla was probably my favorite match of the night and maybe Lady C/Waka was my least my favorite match of the night. I don't know if there was anything must see here but nothing was bad. I'd give this one a 7 out of 10 as it was a good show overall.
