WOW Women of Wrestling 4/5/2025 Season 5, Episode 30

We go to the Fab Four's dressing room. Lana is excited about her 4 teams being in the four way tonight.

Keta Rush and Sugar vs Animal Instinct (Goldie Collins and Catarina Jinx)

Sugar runs into a kick and Jinx misses a splash in the corner. Keta hits leg kicks then pump kicks her. Goldie takes a double flying back elbow. Sugar walks up the ropes and armdrags Goldie. Goldie upkicks Sugar then takes a butt drop. Sugar armdrags her off the casadora. Jinx scorpion kicks her and rakes her back.

Goldie pulls Sugar's throat down over the ropes. Sugar takes a double rock bottom for 2. Keta gets in and hits nice dropkicks on both opponents. Goldie spinning drops her spinebuster style for 2. Keta takes a dangerous looking flipping neckbreaker off a torture rack and is finished.

Thoughts: Things went well here though the heels' finisher was super dangerous looking and should never be tried again. I suppose Spice is injured but Keta is a good sub for her.

Jinx and Goldie get on the mic after. They are mad they weren't invited to the four way tonight. Goldie says they are coming for the winners of it.

Veronica Varoom comes out to do commentary for the next match.

Fury vs Catalina Speed
 

Veronica says she likes Speed and also said she wanted to recruit for her roller derby team.

Fury side headlock takeovers Speed. Speed headscissors her. Speed shoulders Fury over and dances. Fury trips her. Speed wristlocks her and Fury side headlocks her. Fury shoulders over Speed. Speed armdrags her then hits a nice dropkick.

Speed hits a corner forearm. Fury backhands her and knees her in the back on the ropes. Fury hits another running knee and headcranks her. Speed hits lariats. Speed corner spears her then Fury sunset flips her for 2.

Fury double underhooks her and drops her on her butt to win.

Thoughts: The offense could have hit a little harder here. Varoom was decent on commentary. The match was average. I was kind of surprised to see Fury get the win.

Santana Garrett vs Scout Parker

SG wristlocks her then does a fireman's carry takeover. Scout wristlocks her. SG kips up and out of it then side headlocks her. SG flips her between the legs and gets a 2 count.

Scout knees her in the gut then back elbows her for 2. Scout hits a bad short hurricanrana for 2. Scout crossfaces her. SG hits shots and running back elbows her for 2. Scout misses a sliced bread #2 and is booted. SG wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. They could have hit a little harder on some of the strikes and it probably should have been better than what it was due to their experience levels.

SG says this should show that with hard work and determination, anything is possible. She says she's one step closer to the WOW Title. 

They do a video on Paola Mayfield and Abilene Maverick. Ab eventually interrupts and says people love Paola. Ab says they have gotten to work and they say we have to tune in next week to see who Paola fights next.

Sibley Scoles says the main event is coming soon and wonders if the ring can hold all of that action.

They hype up something with Ashley Blaze/Xena Phoenix and their partner vs Top Tier for next week, but it isn't clear what.

WOW Tag Titles - Big Rig Betty and Jessie Jones (c) vs Holly Swag and Penelope Pink vs Miami's Sweet Heat (Lindsay and Laurie Carlson) vs Princess Aussie and Tormenta

Lana Starr is with Holly and Pink, not Miami's Sweet Heat.

All 8 girls fight to start. MSH are thrown out by Tor and Aussie. Aussie side headlocks Jones then Jones reverses it. Aussie side headlock takeovers her and then Jones headscissors her. Aussie is pulled down off the double team straightjacket.

Tor and Linds get in. Tor headscissors her. Linds takes a double back elbow. Aussie is lifted for a legdrop on Linds for 2. Aussie flying headscissors Laur for 2. Laur's head is banged off the buckles. Aussie is lifted for a codebreaker on Laur then is lariated by Tor.

Pink hits forearms on Tor. Tor spinning forearms her. Jones hits backhands and slaps on Pink. Jones hits back elbows and stomps on Pink. Jones corner hip attacks her.

Pink double throat thrusts Betty. Betty snapmares Holly then mule kicks her for 2. Betty running euros Holly in the corner. Holly takes a double back elbow and a double elbow drop. Holly backhands and superkicks her. Holly leg lariats Jones for 2.

Jones forearms Linds over. Aussie's head is banged off the buckles. Aussie is double stomped on in the corner. Aussie takes a double suplex. Laur facekicks Aussie. Linds hits corner spears on Tor. Tor takes a double basement dropkick.

Pink takes down Betty then runs into a ddt on her. Holly running leg lariats Betty. Betty stunners Holly and Holly rolls out of the ring. Linds germans Betty. Jones boots over Linds then takes a spinning lariat from Laur. Aussie neckbreakers Laur then Pink hits pretty in pink on her. Tor hits made in Japan on Pink. Holly hits Tor with the sock with rocks right in front of the ref. Jones gets hit with it too.

Betty is held by MSH, she pushes them into each other then Holly and Pink pin MSH to win.

Thoughts: I didn't like the ref seeing Holly cheat yet doing nothing about it. I did like the finish though of Pink and Holly pinning MSH. That was the best option storyline wise and should continue this feud they have with MSH. The match wasn't quite the epic or classic you would hope for. It was mostly just a very normal four way match without any real big spots or memorable moments. But no one really botched anything and it was fine.

MSH attack Pink and Holly over after. They then shove Lana Star who is shocked.

Overall thoughts: It was a decent episode. There wasn't much going on outside of the ring here and even Sibley Scoles didn't get an interview segment on this one. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10 as there was nothing you really needed to see on this one.
