All Japan Pro Wrestling 4/13/2025 Champion Carnival 2025 Day 3
Aigle Blanc, Rey Paloma, Takashi Yoshida & Xyon vs. Atsuki Aoyagi, Dan Tamura, Ryo Inoue & Tsuyoshi Okada
Blanc and Atsuki had a nice section here to start things. Rey did a headscissors and lost his pants. And of course, Rey is wearing a thong. Dan then gave Rey a wedgie and spanked him. They finally got Rey out of there after a while. Blanc hit a tope con hilo on multiple people then Yoshida lariated Ryo to win.
Thoughts: It wasn't that good and the whole thing was built around how entertaining you find it Rey with his pants down. I didn't enjoy it.

Thoughts: The 2nd half when they got serious was good. I wish we could have gotten more of that because I think it would have been a stronger match than it was. The first half was Omori goofing around with blowing kisses.

They each try pin attempts and Kuma crossbodies him for 2. Kuma running lariats him for 2. Kuma gets stopped while going up top and takes a powerslam. Davey then flying headbutts him off the buckles and wins.
Thoughts: I liked it. It wasn't too long and they got the power vs power idea of this one right.
Davey does a backstage promo after. He says Kuma is tough but wasn't tough enough. He said she showed why he's the most powerful and dangerous gaijin. He says he smells nothing but victories coming up and is the future first place person in this tournament. He says the CC belongs to him and he wants another shot at the Triple Crown. He then says he loves Zen Nippon.

Thoughts: It looked like a good one on paper. It didn't quite deliver. The finish was cool but they didn't get enough time and didn't have much else but the finish.
Mike does a promo after. He says Rei is a hell of a fighter and he earned his respect. He said he proved he isn't here just to compete, he's here to conquer. He says the domination continues and the CC is his.

Ken headbutts him then is rolled up for 2. Nagao backslides him then Ken facekicks him. Ken then straightjacket germans Nagao and wins.
Thoughts: It ended up being a good tag due to Nagao getting offense in on Ken and being able to stand up to him. That wasn't expected and made for a nice surprise. It wasn't super serious otherwise and they had more people than they had time.
Champion Carnival 2025 Block A Match - Kengo Mashimo vs. Hideki Suzuki
Ken takes down HS. HS armdrags him and Ken holds on. They do some amateur wrestling and battle for simple holds. HS trips him then side headlocks him. HS is flipped by the wrist then he upkicks Ken. HS sleepers him then straightjacket chokes him. HS finlay rolls him then hits forearms to the gut.

HS is down and hits a bunch of boots to Ken's shoulder. He then enzugiri's him. HS tombstones him for 2. HS hits him in the gut. Ken then hooks the leg and rolls him up to win.
Thoughts: I guess it made sense with Ken working the leg and using the leg as part of the pin. But it wasn't that exciting and it was slower paced. I wasn't a fan of it.

They lock up, break on the ropes and Jun plays with his own hair. Sho side headlocks him. They shoulder battle. then Sho is knocked over. Sho hits forearms and uppercuts. Jun back drops him. Jun knocks him off the apron then throws him into the post. Sho is sent into the rail.

They trade shots. Jun hits some loud chops. Sho euros the arm and hits uppercuts. Jun fires back then runs into a lariat. Sho then backdrops him. Sho switches to the ankle lock. Sho switchres to a triangle and Jun escapes. Jun lariats him then hits a jackhammer for 2. Jun running boots him and wins.
Thoughts: I guess they tried with Sho working the arm. But it wasn't that interesting and the finish wasn't long or dramatic enough. It was just a match and really not that special at all.
Jun then talks on the mic and eats to close the show.
Overall thoughts: I liked the 8-man tag with Nagao and Kento best and I liked Davey/Kuma. The main and semi main were both disappointing. Mike and Rei should have been better than it was as well. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as it wasn't a very exciting show and nothing was that great.
