The Alliance comes out and talks. Gambino says guess who's back and says it's us. BK says they want to accept the award for the greatest alliance at WOW. Gigi says they will gladly accept awards. Reina says they are not just a alliance but are The Alliance.

Championship Battle Royal Qualifying Match - Foxxy Fierce vs Reina Del Rey

Fox ducks Reina's lock-ups. Reina wristlocks her and Fox cartwheels out. Fox is pulled down by the hair. Reina pounds on her as she hands over the apron then she knees her. Fox is held for shots from Reina's buddies. Reina corner splashes Fox.

Fox double boots her out of the corner then pump kicks her. Fox hip attacks her in the corner. Gigi Gianni grabs and hits Fox from the outside. Fox high knees Reina from the apron then Fox sunset flips her for 2. Reina hits mounted shots.

Reina chops Fox. Fox misses a hip attack and is lariated from behind. Reina then wins.

Thoughts: Foxxy had a lot of clumsy movements but I thought they got this one mostly right with the heels picking on Fox and Fox getting some comebacks in.

The heels beat up Fox after and Roxxy Fierce saves Foxxy with a chair. 

David McLane gets on the mic after. He says Gambino promised her team would not interfere ever. Dave says The Alliance is now banned from ringside for BK's match tonight.

The Environmentalists (Scout Parker and Sprout Greens) vs The Mighty Mights (Sugar and Spice)

This is Sprout Greens' debut. Greens piefaces Sugar. Sugar side headlocks her. Greens pulls the hair and Sugar snapmares her. Sugar running boots her then cartwheel splashes her. Spice then cartwheel splashes her as well. Scout gets in and Spice flying headscissors her.

Spice bottom rope facebusters Scout. Spice hits running knees then headbusters her on the mat. Spice slams Scout. Greens pushes Spice off the buckles. Scout bangs Spice's head off the buckles then hair throws her. Scout snapmares her for 2.

Spice is catapulted into the buckles. Spice takes a backcracker + elbow drop combo. Greens bangs Spice's head off the buckles and she jumping kicks her. Greens snapmares Spice then facebusters Spice for 2.

Greens pulls Spice's arms back. Spice armdrags her. Sugar gets in and lariats Scout. She dropkicks her then monkey flips her for 2. Spice's head is banged off the buckles. Greens slams Spice.

Scout asai moonsaults Spice and pins her.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. The Mights got some chances here before being put down. Scout busted out the asai moonsault which I had not seen her do before. The heels needed to win this one as this was Greens' debut.

Scout does a promo after. She says they are The Environmentalists and are here to spread the message of saving the planet. She says to reduce and recycle. Scout says she will hike on your face and tries to get people to go vegan. 

The Alliance talk in the back. Gambino complains about not being able to be out there. The heels tell BK she has got this. Gigi then tells BK something and BK tells her it was smart. Reina and Gambino ask what she said and Gigi says she was just giving her some motivation. Reina asks why she's so smart. This is pushing the ongoing story of dissent between Gigi and the rest of the crew.

BK Rhythm vs Holly Swag

We get a rare heel vs heel match here.

BK gets on the mic before it starts. She does a rap on Holly. Holly takes the mic and says "this ain't no BK have it your way" and does her own rap. BK nails her before she finishes.

BK boots her from the apron and chokes her over the middle rope. Lana Starr trips BK outside then Holly baseball slides BK. BK is thrown into the buckles. Holly sits on her on the middle rope. Lana then pulls BK against the ropes.

Holly basement dropkicks BK. Holly facebusters her. Holly double shledgehammers her in the chest. Holly is pulled into the 2nd buckle. BK backdrops Holly then misses an elbow drop.

Holly shining wizards BK for 2. BK side slams her and elbow drops her. BK backdrops Holly. Lana Starr gets on the apron. BK and Holly both grab weapons and Holly hits BK with a sock full of rocks to win.

Thoughts: The finish got messed up here. Holly cheated and wasn't able to throw the weapon out. She then tried to throw it out a second time and the ref saw her do it and didn't care. It's a shame as they did good otherwise here and had one of BK's best matches in WOW.

Holly talks to Lana on the mic after. She says nobody can touch her when she has her sock of rocks. She says she can be the next WOW champ.

Samantha Smart talks to The Classmaster in the control room. She talks about the will to win. We see clips of The Classmaster winning some matches. She says Class has her toughest opponent in Tormenta next week and says they will study and win.

The Fab Four talk in the dressing room. Miami's Sweet Heat says they are about to go to wrestle. They tell Holly to reset and not to come out with them, which is becoming a recurring theme.

Gloria Glitter and Chantilly Chella meet up next week in a Battle Royal Qualifier.

Miami's Sweet Heat (Laurie and Lindsay Carlson) vs The Dojo Defenders (Kara Kai and Tara Strike)

Kara is in the black and Tara is in the white. Lindsay is the blonde and Laurie has the black hair.

Tara hits leg kicks on Laurie. Tara back elbows her then flying headscissors her over. Laurie hits some shots and mule kicks her. Kai snapmares Laurie. Linds gets in and takes kicks from Kai. Kai handstand kicks her. Kai hurricanrana's Linds out of the corner.

Linds takes kicks from both opponents and Tara rolls her up for 2. Tara PK's Linds for 2. Tara is catapulted into the ropes. Lana Star helps Laurie pull Kai on the ropes.

Kai takes double boots in the corner and a hip attack from Laurie. Kai takes a double pendulum drop on her chest for 2. Kai's head is banged off the buckles. Kai is foot choked. Laurie straightjacket chokes Kai. Kai hits some shots and is forearmed over. Laurie slams Kai for 2. 

Kai takes a double footchoke. Linds oklahoma stampede's Kai. Laurie knee drops Kai. Linds foot chokes Kai in the corner. Tara breaks up a double backdrop on Kai. Tara is tagged in.

Tara step up enzugiri's Linds and hits attacks on both opponents. Tara bulldogs Laurie then running knees her for 2. Tara flying knees Linds. Tara takes a side slam + top rope elbow drop and is pinned.

Thoughts: This got a lot of time. This was probably The Defenders best match in WOW so far. The Defenders didn't have the best offense here though as Kia hesitated a lot though and they messed up a lot of their big spots in the match. MSH was really good here as usual. I liked it and thought it was a decent match.

Lana gets on the mic after and says MSH is coming to get what is theirs. Linds says she dedicates this win to the new trailer park trash champs - Jessie Jones and Big Rig Betty. She says MSH is the only tag team that matters in this company. Linds says they showed what a real victory is like and says they don't need to cheat. MSH says she's sick of hearing the rednecks say they 1x champs and says that's all they will be as they won't win the titles again. Laurie says they want a rematch with Betty and Jones.

Overall thoughts: It was a good episode of WOW. WOW's on a roll so far this year and is producing much better shows than usual. There's a lot going on storyline wise here with Gigi having issues with The Alliance, Holly Swag not being included in Fab Four activities and the Big Rig Betty/Jessie Jones vs Fab Four feud. We got a new debut in Sprout Greens on this one. The main was good, mostly due to Miami's Sweet Heat. I thought BK Rhythm had one of her best matches in WOW and the other two matches were acceptable. I enjoyed this and would give it a 6 out of 10.

Wes Lee vs Dion Lennox

There was no reaction for either guy which isn't a shock.

They lock up and Wes is pushed back. Wes side headlocks him. Dion shoulders him over. Dion hiptosses Wes then pop-up drops him. Dion hits a nice dropkick for 2. Wes sends him into the 2nd buckle and superkicks him. Wes hits mounted forearms.

Wes knees him in the side of the head for 2. Wes puts his foot in Dion's ribs then drops down while pulling the arm. Wes sits on his back and armlocks him.

Dion lifts him up and throws him over. Dion hits forearms and punches. Dion hits a corner lariat and overhead suplexes him. Dion kips up then spinebusters him for 2.

Wes yanks him down by the arm and does his cardiac kick. Wes picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was basic and not that interesting. Wes worked like more of a heel here than usual and did no flying minus his finish. The crowd didn't know either guy, rightfully so, and didn't care that much about it.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter vs The Unholy Union (Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre)

Alba throws Carter down by the hair. Carter hits chops. Carter kicks her in the body then climbs on her back and armlocks her. Carter crucifixes lba is tripped in a kick to the head. Chance slingshot swantons Alba for 2. Alba misses a corner charge and Chance armdrags her. Isla gets in. Chance goes up and over her then rolls her into a basement dropkick. Alba is pulled out then Chance and Carter do stereo baseball slides.

We go to break and return. Isla stomps on Chance. Alba corner spears Chance. Alba rakes Chance's face on the ropes then knee drops her. Chance takes a gordbuster and Isla meteora's her for 2. Isla chinlocks her.

Isla misses a corner charge and Chance hits an enzugiri. Carter gets in and hits forearms on Isla. She rolls her and superkicks her. Carter superkicks Alba on the apron then jawbreakers Isla over the top rope. Carter springboard legdrops her off the bottom rope.

Carter high kicks Isla then dropkicks her in the corner. Carter flips Chance onto Isla but Isla gets her knees up. Isla high kicks Carter. Carter takes a gori special + flatliner and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a pretty average match and far from anyone's best work. And we would know as this match has happened on this show many times. Chance and Carter didn't even really fly around here all that much.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches as usual. The opener didn't impress and the crowd didn't know either guy so they didn't cheer much. The women's tag match was not either teams best work and both took it easy here. I didn't really like either match all that much and wouldn't recommend this show.

We are in the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.

They went on air a few seconds early and ended up re-doing it. Ian Riccabonni is in the ring with The Costco Guys. They say Adam Cole will bring the boom tonight. They say Garcia will bring the boom to Shelton Benjamin. AJ says Mortos is their guy and says to bring the boom tonight. They say Claudio is a big doom and Darby needs to bring the boom. AJ says Ricochet and Will Ospreay will bring the boom tonight. 

Continental Classic Gold League - Ricochet vs Will Ospreay

Toilet paper is thrown in but it appears to be planned as no one gets kicked out for it and a bunch his thrown. Will laughs about it outside.

Ric rides Will on the front facelock then shoulders him over. Will kips back up. Will side headlock takeovers him and shoulders him over. Ric goes out. Will fliying headscissors him but Ric lands on his feet. Ric slaps him and is chopped for it. Ric does a backflip into a headscissors but Will flips out. They trade armdrags and headscissors. Ric throws him at the buckles and Will goes down. Ric then fosbury flops him outside. Ric grabs some of the toilet paper outside, rubs himself and puts it in Will's face.

We go to PiP break and return. Will handspring corkscrew kicks him. Will springboard forearms him for 2. Will hits chops. Ric hits a spin kick then an angel's wings for 2. Ric handsprings, is on Will's shoulders and is caught with a style's clash. Ric and Will get on the apron and Ric death valley drivers him there. Ric runs the apron and ssp's him on the floor. Ric springboard 450's Will for 2.

Ric sitout reverse ddt's Will. Will hits a stunner. Will springboards and Ric catches him with a cutter. Ric death valley drivers him. Will hidden blades him. They stare down in the middle of the ring and trade forearms.

Ric pushes Will into the ref. Ric superkicks Will. Will hits a stormbreaker but the ref isn't up to count the pin. Will goes up top. Ric pushes the ref into the ropes, knocking him over. Ric hits his spirit gun running elbow and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't really their best work here. They didn't overdo it which was a shock. It was a shorter match with Ric bending the rules and basically doing a heel turn down the match. It did what it was supposed to do and wasn't anything too great. I do think it's kind of stupid though that they had this tournament for workrate purposes and a lot of the matches are getting cut short. 

We get a video on Darby vs Claudio.

Adam Cole and MJF comes out to the ring for a talking segment. MJF tells the fans to shut up. He says he had to listen to Cole say for months that MJF is Cole's enemy. He says Cole turned on him though. He says Cole has bigger enemies like spray tanner, a crack in the floor and a gust of wind. He said he heard Cole's dentist isn't seeing him anymore (Britt Baker).

He says while he was champ, Cole was just his cute sidekick. MJF said Cole had chances to win the title before he got near it. He says Cole blew it though like his ankle. MJF says Cole looks like a crack bay-bay.

Cole says MJF had 2 surgeries on his hair despite being in his 20's. He said MJF pulled strings to get his girl hired. He says everyone can't wait for MJF to leave when he comes into the room. Cole says they are nothing alike and that's why the friendship is ruined.

Cole says he's the longest reigning champ in every company he worked for. He says he doesn't regret turning his back on him and says it only bothers MJF because he did it before him. Cole says MJF is terrified of having anyone close to him because it's a weakness. MJF admits he was going to be the one to turn on him first. He says he wanted to stab Cole first in the back but he beat him to it.

He says Cole was a pawn when their team started but he started to care a little. He says Cole isn't the devil, he just beat the devil to it. He says he ends Cole's world at World's End. Cole then punches him and security breaks the fight up. Cole beats up security and MJF kicks Cole in the crotch. Taven and Bennett come out to save Cole.

Thoughts: The feud still isn't working and the segment wasn't that interesting. I really hope this is over at World's End. Cole said he wasn't going to trade insults and act like a kid here but that's what he did.

Lexi Nair interviews Kris Statlander. Kris says Penelope Ford is looking for a fight and here she is. Kris said she had a downward spiral this year that started when she lost the TBS Title. She said if she wins it back, maybe it'll start to right the wrongs. She offers herself as Mone's opponent for World's End and says to let her know when she's ready for round 2.

Lexi interviews Orange Cassidy. He says Mox can run and hide until World's End but when the bell rings, he has nowhere to go. He says Mox will be in the ring with him Page and Jay and they need to remove Mox from the equation. He says they can fight for the AEW Title after.

Kris Statlander vs Penelope Ford

Kris backs her up in the corner and throws her over. Kris shoulders her over. Kris goes for a suplex but Ford puts a sleeper on her. Kris suplexes her for 2. Ford hits a top rope blockbuster for 2.

We go to break and return. Ford misses a 2nd rope double knee drop then Kris basement dropkicks her off the apron. Kris throws her into the rails. Kris ki krushers her for 2. Kris running euros her in the corner. Ford fisherman suplexes her for 2. 

Ford tries a handspring back elbow but is caught. They evade moves. Ford stunners her then springboard poisonrana's her for 2. Ford misses a top rope moonsault then Kris deadlift germans her on her neck. Kris then hits another. Kris hits a single leg package tombstone and wins.

Thoughts: Kris won as expected here. This was just average here and I don't think they should be kicking out of poisonrana's.

Mercedes Mone comes out after. Mone says to say hello to the CEO. She agrees to a match with her, saying she's the greatest TBS champ of all time and wants to show that money changes everything. 

The Costco Guys come out. Chris Jericho and his crew come out. CJ asks AJ if he has a permit to be here tonight and if he talked to the mayor to make this official. CJ asks if they know who he is and Justice says he's a jack@ss. Bryan Keither says this is why kids like him should be seen and not heard.

CJ says if being a jack@ss means being The King of New York, then he's the biggest one in the city. He says they don't want him in the ring. He says they don't even have Costco's, they have bodega's. He says AJ's act belongs in the toilet. He says they don't have time for goofy gimmicks like people scissoring or wearing bandit masks.

Bowens comes out and walks through Jericho and Keith. Bowens says they caught his attention. Bowens says he's trying to intimidate a man in a walking boot and a child. He says he should shut the hell up. Bill says when a man tries to silence another man, he's probably afraid of the truth. Bowens says he doesn't know what that means. He challenges CJ to come down. CJ walks a few steps and says not tonight.

AJ says CJ ran tonight but Bowens will get his chance to bring the boom soon. Bowens then scissors with The Costco Guys.

Lexi interviews Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie. Taya says everyone deserves a slice on vendetta. Toni Storm comes in and pretends she never met any of them. DP says she knows who Toni is. Taya talks about Toni's tattoos. DP says she's not doing this again and doesn't know what sick sh!t she's up to. She says she's done with it and tries to set up a Taya vs Toni match. Taya says she will make her forget everything. Toni thanks her.

Thoughts: This was the best thing DP has been involved with since she came here. I got a huge kick out of her accusing Toni of being up to some sick sh!t.

Continental Classic Blue League - Shelton Benjamin vs Daniel Garcia

They go at it to start. DG hits shots and then chops. SB overhead throws him then slams him several times. SB throws DG hard in the corner. SB sends him into the rails and apron outside. SB sends him into the steps.

They trade chops and DG goes down. We go to PiP break and return. DG shotgun dropkicks him. SB germans DG. DG boots him on the apron. SB goes for a german off the apron. DG is caught off a dive on him and is belly to belly suplexed on the floor.

DG running dropkicks him on the floor while he's sititng on a chair. SB lariats him on the floor. DG dragon screws SB over the middle rope. SB germans him. DG sharpshooters him. SB ties his legs up and chinlocks him. DG facekicks him then is superkicked. SB goes for a suplex and DG gets a surprise pin out of it.

Thoughts: The crowd was into it but I thought it was just a normal match. I didn't think it was anything too great and I don't really like Shelton taking unnecessary losses since he's so new.

DG holds his title up at SB after. Bobby Lashley grabs DG from behind. SB grabs MVP's cane. Mark Briscoe comes out with a chair and stops him. Swerve then top rope double stomps security. The heels back off and wrestlers try to break it up.

Swerve gets on the mic. He says he would get his hands on Lashley by the end of 2024 and said he did. 

Continental Classic Blue League - Mark Briscoe vs The Beast Mortos

They run at each other and trade forearms. Mark hits chops and an uppercut. Mark corner lariats him. They hit each other on the ropes. Mort backslides him and Mark tries a pin. Mort tries another pin for 2. They do a stand off. 

Mort shoulders him over. Mort is sent over the top. He gets right back in and spears Mark. We go to PiP break and return. Mort headbutts him in the corner. Mort misses a flying knee and goes out. Mark dropkicks him through the ropes then tope con hilos him through the ropes.

Mark release germans him on the apron. Mark corkscrew moonsaults him off the top to the outside. Mark jumps off the chair in the ring and tope con hilos Mort. Mort gets his knees up on Mark's froggy bow attempt. Mort torture rack backbreakers him and powerbomb backbreakers him. Mort pop-up samoan drops him for 2.

Mort back body drops him. Mark rolling death valley drivers him. Mark hits a top rope froggy bow for 2. Mark hits a top rope elbow drop then hits a jay driller for the win.

Thoughts: I liked this one. The two matched up well together and had a high flying match. I hadn't see Mark do the corkscrew moonsault off the top before and that was pretty impressive.

Julia Hart does a video. She says what Jamie Hayter calls tricks, she calls advantages. She says she thought she was being reasonable with her. She says she knows she is strong but is she smart? She says they will find out at Fight for the Fallen and says the house always wins.

Mariah May is interviewed in the back. He asks if Rosa's dad will be in the front to watch a match or if Rosa needs a new mommy. Thunder Rosa attacks May and chases her to ringside. Rosa bangs her head off the steps and swings a chair at her. Security then breaks it up. 

Continental Classic Gold League - Darby Allin vs Claudio Castagnoli

CC walks in from the outside. Darby topes him as he enters. Darby gets on his back and is slammed down on the stage. Darby sends him into the lighting rig. Darby climbs the lighting rig and jumps down on CC.

The bell officially rings and CC pop-up euros him. CC giant swings him. We go to break and return. CC catches Darby's blind springboard. CC is pulled over the top. Darby topes him. Darby hits another tope then a top rope coffin drop outside. 

Darby sleepers CC while on his back outside. CC drops him through a table. Darby bottom rope twisting crossbodies him. CC blocks a sunset flip and double stomps him. CC slams him over the top on the apron edge. CC rams Darby's back into the post.

CC giant swings him into the steps. CC running lariats him for 2. Darby gets a pin attempt for 2. Darby 2nd rope reverse ddt's him. Darby does a top rope coffin drop and CC gets his knees up. CC powerbombs him for 2.

CC hits another powerbomb for 2. CC grabs a chair and the ref takes it. CC then hits Darby with brass knucks and pins him.

Thoughts: I don't like Darby losing here when he's being pushed as one of the top faces. The finish didn't help this one out much but it was an okay match otherwise. Darby didn't take too many crazy bumps here outside of a slam on the apron.

Will Ospreay comes out to help Darby after and points at CC.

There is no Collision next week due to AEW World's End being on.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't the most interesting show as it was pretty wrestling heavy and didn't have a lot of storyline work going on. The Cole/MJF segment wasn't any good and was the only thing I really hated on this. The Briscoe/Mortos match was probably my favorite thing on here. I was okay with the main and Ospreay/Ricochet didn't overdo it too much. I was also alright with the Thunder Rosa/Mariah May segment and I popped for the Toni Storm segment. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall but I don't think you need to see it.

Otis vs Pete Dunne

Otis shakes his legs and Pete running forearms him. Pete side headlocks him and Otis shoulders him over. Pete grabs his arm and Otis lariats him in the back of the head. Otis runs at him and hits him in the head with his ribs.

Otis headbutts him and charges into the post when Pete moves. Pete twists Otis' fingers then stomps his arm into the mat. Otis kneels on one arm and then stomps the other arm into the mat.

Oits no sells a bunch of punches and short arm clothesline him. Otis pop-up drops him. Pete runs up the buckles and flips over him. Otis spinning back elbows him. Otis does the caterpillar and Pete stomps his hands into the mat. Pete 2nd rope diving enzugiri's him.

Pete grabs Tozawa outside and ends up ripping off his shirt. Otis flying cannonballs him and gets the pin.

Thoughts: It only went 4:30 or so. It was short and what you would expect with Pete working the arm and fingers and Otis using his size to get the win. It was fine.

Ludwig Kaiser vs Dragon Lee

Kaiser stalls on the apron to start. He turns his back to him outide and gets tope'd for it. Lee enzugiri's him from the apron and top rope diving crossbodies him. Kaiser chops him down.

Lee flying headscissors him. Kaiser dropkicks his knee, sending him into the 2nd buckle. Lee hangs over the 2nd rope and gets dropkicked. We go to break and return. Kaiser has a kimura on him. Kaiser drops his arm on the top rope. Kaiser armwhips him down.

Lee rebound germans him. Lee step up enzugiri's Kaiser. Lee flying forearms him. Lee hits combinacion cabron in the corner then corner dropkicks him for 2. Kaiser sends him into the corner then rolling death valley drivers him for 2.

They go up top. Kaiser hangs from the top and takes a top rope double footstomp. Kaiser blocks destino then armlocks him while sitting on his back. Lee does a standing octopus on Kaiser. Kaiser hits a spinning ddt bladerunner style and wins.

Thoughts: They didn't have a ton of time for this one. Kaiser worked the arm some here. Le did his flying offense as usual. It was average for the most part and not that great or memorable.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches as usual here. Together, they lasted about 15 minutes total. I liked Otis/Dune than Kaiser/Lee. Both were shorter though and neither were great. You don't need to see this one.

Isla Dawn vs Natalya

Isla backs her up in the corner. They shove each other. Nat rolls her up for 2 then takes a knee to the gut. Isla throws her down backwards and kicks her in the gut. Nat hits lariats on Isla.

Nat baseball slides Isla outside. Nat goes head first into the buckles. Isla stomps and foot chokes her. Isla meteora's her for 2. Isla chinlocks her. Nat throws her off and takes a running boot.

Nat slaps her and they trade shots. Nat spinning lariats her. Nat hits a corner spear and rolling snapmares her. Isla turns it into a pin attempt for 2. Nat tries a pin. Nat snap suplexes her then they trade pins again.

Isla rolls her up for 2. Nat rolls her up and sharpshooters her. Isla then taps out.

Thoughts: It was pretty average and not much of note. They did little but the basics here and really took it easy in this one.

The LWO (Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) vs American Made (Brutus and Julius Creed)

BC = Brutus Creed, JC = Julius Creed

They say The Creed's have been on the roster for one year now. JC should be where Bron is now and both Creed's have been totally wasted. Wilde and JC go on the mat. JC rolls him around and paintbrush slaps him. Wilde spinning headscissors out of a wristlock. Wilde headlock takeovers him.

JC suplex lifts him from his knees. Wilde escapes and jawbreakers him. JC takes a double back elbow. Wilde is hiptossed into the ropes and splashes JC. Cruz asai moonsaults JC for 2.

BC hits forearms on Cruz. Cruz spin kicks him in the gut. Cruz cartwheel enzugiri's BC while he sits on top. Cruz springboard hurricanrana's BC. Wilde flying headscissors Jc then BC is lariated over the top. The LWO tease stereo drives.

We go to break and return. JC larits Wilde. JC northern lights suplexes him. BC pounds on Cruz. JC suplexes Wilde then gutwrenches BC on him. Cruz jawbreakers BC. BC gutwrench throws Cruz. BC goes shoulder first into the post when Cruz moves. Wilde flying forearms BC then facebusters JC. Wilde spinning ddt's BC. Wilde ddt's JC out of a powerbomb attempt. Wilde tope con hilos BC. Cruz then does a fosbury flop out. Wilde splashes BC off the buckles for 2 and takes a german from JC.

Cruz flying enzugiri's JC. JC walks up the steps with Wilde in the suplex position and throws him in. Wilde takes a powerbomb + brutusball combo. Wilde i then pinned.

Thoughts: It was a decent midcard match here. We got some dives and Julius had fun lifting The LWO multiple times. They made the most of this that they could had a did a good job here.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches as usual. The women's match wasn't much. The tag match a decent match with The LWO doing dives and Julius overpowering them. It wasn't must see but it was an okay way to spend 15 minutes. You don't really need to see this though.

This is the next to the last edition of the show as it ends next week. This is running against ROH Final Battle 2024.

Tony Schiavone interviews The Don Callis Family. Don is wearing a red hat. Don says his crew are the true one-percenters. He says they prove it every week. He puts over his men. Kyle says Saturday wasn't a good day and says the ref was biased. He says the people in AEW don't want to see him succeed. He says he will be the winner of the 2024 Continental Classic.

He says he couldn't care less of Garcia's feelings. He says he's the hottest young prospect in the industry and will be the future of this place. Don says they aren't like the fans or Mark Davis and Hobbs who are scab workers. He says Hobbs is not in the same business as Takeshita and will find out at World's End.

Mark Davis & Powerhouse Hobbs vs. The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage & Konosuke Takeshita)

KT and Hobbs stare down and trade forearms. Hobbs goes for a move and KT slides out. Cage and Hobbs lariat battle. Hobbs bodyblocks him. Cage takes a double shoulderblock. Mark chops up Cage then slams him. Mark elbow drops him for 2.

KT saves Cage from a suplex and forearms Mark out. Hobbs takes a pumping knee + russian legsweep combo for 2. Cage hits mounted forearms on Hobbs. Cage boots Hobbs in the corner. KT hits shots on Hobbs in the corner. Hobbs takes a double suplex for 2.

Cage and Hobbs trade forearms. Hobbs exploders Cage. Mark hits punches on Cage and back body drops him. Mark goes for the senton and Cage gets his knees up. Mark takes a blue thunder from KT for 2. 

We go to PiP break and return. Cage poses. Cage hits a jumping knee and Mark back body drops him. Hobbs lariats KT over then corner splashes KT. Hobbs splashes both opponents in the same corner. Hobbs powerslams Cage and KT. KT spinning forearms Hobbs. Hobbs spinebusters KT for 2.

KT corner facekicks Hobbs. Cage germans Hobbs. Cage does a pumphandle sitout slam on Hobbs for 2. Hobbs hits a double lariat then the four fight. Hobbs powerslams Cage. KT forearms Hobbs then takes a german from Mark. Cage F-5's Mark. Cage and Hobbs go out on a lariat over the top. All four men are down.

Mark enzugiri's KT then sliding d's him in the corner. KT and Mark double lariat each other. KT pumping knees him then hits a raging fire and wins.

Thoughts: It was a good match with some of the bigger guys of AEW. It was hard hitting and stiff. Hobbs should have never taken that sitout pumphandle slam and Kt took a rough looking german.

Renee interviews Willow Nightingale. She's excited about Wrestle Dynasty. Kris Statlander walks in. She says good luck at The Tokyo Dome and says there's a lot she should say. Willow doesn't know what to make of it.

Action Andretti & Lio Rush vs. Goldy & Myles Hawkins

Lio handspring kicks Goldy off the apron to start. Myles then takes one from AA. Lio and AA then hit topes outside. Myles tries to fight off both. Lio lariats Goldy then Lio bottom rope seated stunners an opponent. AA hits a torture rack neckbreaker on Myles. Lio pins Myles.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash as expected. AA and Lio were more aggressive here than usual.

Private Party get on the ramp after and dance then hold up their tights. AA and Lio hit PP from behind then Top Flight's music hits. Darius and Dante stare down AA and Lio.

Harley Cameron is interviewed by Renee. She sees Penelope Ford talk. Ford says they have a lot in common. Harley asks how much her chest costs. Ford says her winning record hasn't been good like hers. She tells her to watch her back and she will watch hers. Harley asks what's on her back and says, "feel the wrath of Harley Cameron". Renee says she was nice to you and Harley says, "don't feel the wrath of Harley Cameron". Yeah, this was as random as it seemed.

Willow Nightingale vs. Harley Cameron

They lock up and Will pushes her over. Will backdrops her and low crossbodies her for 2. Will hits corner lariats then slams her. We go to PiP break, full break then return.

Will misses a corner cannonball. HC hits knees and step up enzugiri's her. HC leg lariats her for 2. Will hits a death valley driver on HC for 2. Will hits a doctor bomb and pins her.

Thoughts: It was short and mostly one-sided as expected. It was little more than time filler here.

Penelope Ford attacks Willow from behind. Her and HC then beat up on Willow together. Kris Statlander runs out, tries to hold her shirt up and saves Willow.

We get a video on Thunder Rosa vs Mariah May.

We get a video on Jeff Jarrett. He says he's bringing a gameplan for 2025 next week.

Continental Classic 2024 Gold League Match - Brody King vs. Komander

Brody puts him on the top rope off the lock up. Kom dropkicks him then Brody lariats him over. They trade chops and Kom goes down. Brody chops him. Brody hits a back body drop.

Kom hits punches and chops on Brody. Kom springboards and gets caught. Kom sunset flips him. Brody hits forearms. Kom gets on his back with a sleeper. Kom hits leg kicks.  

Kom goes top rope walk but is chopped down. We go to PiP break and return. Kom is caught on an asai moonsault. Kom gets on his back and cobra twists him. Brody misses a senton. Kom crucifix bombs him.

Kom is caught on a trangle plancha outside then rammed into the rails. Brody misses a crossbody on the rails and goes into them. Kom walks up the buckles and flip dives him outside.

Kom is on Brody's shoulders on the 2nd rope and sunset bombs him down. Kom top rope 450's him for 2. Brody misses a corner spear. Kom dropkicks him against the 2nd buckle. Kom double jump springboard moonsaults Brody outside.

Kom rope walk sp's Brody's back. Kom handsprings and is caught with an over the shoulder piledriver. Brody pins him.

Thoughts: I wasn't a fan of this. They did the right things but it was too hard to buy Kom as a serious contender to Brody after all of the jobbing he has done over the years. I also thought it went too long.

Overall thoughts: It was an average show. I liked the opener. The 2 matches in the middle were short and not much. They had the right idea in the main but I couldn't buy Komander being able to hang with Brody. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was just an average show. You don't need to see this one.

AJ = Atlantis Jr.

Mansoor wants to touch fingertips and they do. Man wristlocks him and AJ reverses it. Man takes him down then rolls him up for 2. Man snapmares him into a pin attempt. AJ goes for the legsweep and Man poses. Man comes off the 2nd rope wih a diving armdrag. Man armdrags him then tiger feint armdrags him.

AJ flying headscissors him. AJ does an indian deathlock and Man ropebreaks. AJ goes to springboard and Madden trips him. Man slingshot neckbreakers him and falcon arrows him. Man pulls on AJ's mask then pulls the arm and chin. AJ armdrags him and takes a back enzugiri.

Man corner lariats him. AJ enzugiri's him and tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him twice. Man takes a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on a crossbody attempt. AJ then does Mei Seira's flipping crucifix move. Madden distracts AJ up top. Man suplexes AJ off the buckles.

Man misses a top rope moonsault then death valley drivers AJ into the buckles. Man top rope moonsaults AJ for 2. Atlantis germans Man. AJ then wheelbarrow germans him into the buckles. Man gets his knees up on AJ's top rope frogsplash. Man springboards off the ropes and is caught with a cutter for 2.

Madden grabs AJ on the apron and AJ enzugiri's him. Danhausen comes out from under the ring in a mask. He low blows Madden and AJ topes Madden. Man gets catapulted outside osmehow on a slingshot sunset flip and AJ tope con hilos the heels outside. AJ hits a top rope frogsplash and wins.

Thoughts: It was a little long for an opener and I don't know why Danhausen was out here. It was okay otherwise though and Atlantis won as expected.

Atlantis motions that he wants another shot at the TV Title after. Madden attacks Atlantis from behind. Dan curses Madden then germans him. Dan pours teeth in Madden's mouth and facekicks him.

Lexi interviews Chris Jericho, who is wearing New York gear. He talks about the smell of hot dogs and sewage and says it's his hometown of NYC. He talks about having a piece of NY authentic pizza at Sbarro. He talks about Juan Soto staying in NYC and says he loves Soto as much as him. He says he has a responsibility to stay champ and says he will leave The Grand Apple as the champ.

Katsuyori Shibata vs "Dynamite Kid" Tommy Billington

I was wondering what happened to Tom as he had not appeared for months after being signed. KS snapmares him and Tom turns it into a hammerlock. KS wristlocks him. Tom rolls out and headflips up. Tom side headlocks KS. KS side headlock takeovers him. Tom headscissors him. KS twists his foot then does an indian deathlock.

KS side headlocks him. Tom topes him. KS facekicks Tom off the apron. KS figure fours him and Tom reverses it. Tom germans him. KS no sells it and germans him. Tom no sells that and suplexes him. KS sto's him and corner dropkicks him. KS armbars him and does a triangle with a kimura. Tom ropebreaks.

Tom dropkicks him then lariats him. Tom back elbows him then snap suplexes him. Tom top rope dropkicks KS. Tom springboard ddt's him on the apron. Tom hits a top rope diving headbutt. Tom hits forearms and KS sleepers him. KS then submits him with it.

Thoughts: It ended kind of abruptly here. What we got was alright but nothing too special. I don't get the logic of bringing Tom back just to have him lose.

Jay Lethal vs QT Marshall

Both guys are dressed up like Macho Man Randy Savage. Jay wants a handshake then gets punched. Karen Jarrett is with Jay and is supposed to be Liz, but honestly is dressed more like Sherri. Jay hits punches and elbows him. Jay pulls him down over the top rope rope then top rope double axe handles him. Jay hiptosses him and cartwheels into a basement dropkick.

QT sends Jay into the rails then gets tope'd. Jay grabs the girl who came out with QT. Karen Jarrett, who is supposed to be Miss Elizabeth here, gets mad. Jay hits corner punches on QT then is pulled down on the top rope. QT 2nd rope tornado ddt's Jay.

Jay crossbodies him then armdrags him. Jay shoulders him over and QT stunguns him. QT hits punches. Jay hits chops. Jay hits running forearms and a leg lariat. Jay backdrop lifts him into a neckbreaker for 2. Jay figure fours him.

Jay grabs QT by the leg. Aaron Solo holds onto QT. Sonjay Dutt then figure fours Solo while Jay figure fours QT. QT cutters Dutt. Jay hits a lethal combination. Jay climbs the top and is crotched by Solo. Karen goes after Solo. Solo grabs her then Jeff Jarrett comes out.

Jeff chases Solo in the ring and hits him with a guitar. Jay hits a top rope elbow drop on QT for 2. QT hits a cross rhodes on Jay for 2. Jay boots QT out of the corner. Jay pump kicks and enzugiri's QT. QT pop up forearms him. QT springboards and is caught with a cutter. QT hits a lethal injection for 2.

They trade forearms on their knees. Jay backslides him then cradles him for 2. Jay hits a handspring cutter. Jay then hits a 2nd one and gets the pin.

Thoughts: I didn't like this at all. This was supposed to be a serious match as the two had issues and it was half comedy with lots of shenanigans. I thought it was also bad since Jay was like one of the last main eventers from ROH and this should have been treated as a major, serious deal. I also didn't like the top rope elbow drop being kicked out of.

ROH Women's World Television Title Match - Red Velvet (c) vs. Leyla Hirsch

Red grabs her by the head and LH rolls her down. LH side headlocks her then shoulders her over. Red cradles her for 2. LH rolls her off of her back. Red side headlocks her. Red rolls her into the ropes throat first. Red double knees her against the ropes. Red sto's her then stomps her arm into the mat.

Red hits a punch combo in the corner. Paul Turner is outside and wants to know if LH can continue. Red stomps on LH in the corner and facekicks her. LH pendulum double boots her in the corner. LH yanks her into a backdrop. Red no sells it and spears her for 2.

LH whips her down by the arm. LH stomps the arm then armwhips her into the buckles. LH bangs Red's head off the buckles. LH then rolls over her back and germans her from the 2nd rope. LH then does the move again and germans her. They trade forearms and slaps. 

Red kicks her in the arm and trips her into the ropes. LH hits a powerbomb. LH walks up the buckles and moonsaults Red for 2. LH bangs Red's arm off the mat. They trade pin attempts. Red running facekicks her for 2.

LH armbars her. Red spin kicks her in the head for 2. Red drops her with a shot. LH barely hits a snake eyes. Red corkscrew kicks her in the head for 2.

Red goes under the ring and gets the turnbuckle connector. The ref takes it from her. Red then hits LH with a wrench and pins her.

Thoughts: I didn't like this that much. It had some sloppy moments. They worked each others arms for a bit then just stopped. Then it had a dirty finish.

ROH Pure Title Match - Lee Moriarty (c) vs. Nigel McGuinness

Niger is the mystery opponent for this open challenge. He says he's ready to go and says let's do it ROH old school style under the old ROH Pure Title rules. Shane Taylor says "old is right". Shane says this is taiga style vs tired style. He says they will arrest Lee for elder abuse if he beats up Nigel tonight. Nigel said he never thought he was a coward. He says Shane is talking like a p*ssy. Shane says the crowd has never seen one. Shane says he guesses you are what you eat. Nigel says that makes Shane, "Lee Moriarty's @sshole". Lee asks Shane to let him have this as he wants it and needs it. Nigel says he doesn't need the judges out there as this is old school rules.

Lee offers a handshake. Nigel accepts. Nigel takes him down by the arm and hits some shots. Lee takes him down by the arm twice and armlocks him. Nigel snapmares him but Lee holds on. Lee uses one of three ropebreaks on accident. The ref makes them break on the ropes. Nigel prents that Lee punched him. Lee is charged a 2nd ropebreak for supposedly breaking the rules.

Shane Taylor gets on the mic and complains. He calls for a 2nd ref to come down. Lee takes him down and hits mounted shots. Nigel then hits mounted shots and goes for some holds. Nigel gets a 2 count on him and armwhips him down.

Nigel kneels on his back and armlocks him. Lee gets out and puts him in a border city stretch. Shane Taylor and Nige have words outside. Lee tries to attack Nigel from behind but nails Shane on accident. Lee avoids being counted out.

Nigel handstands in the corner and boots him. Nigel running euros him in the corner. Nigel goes to do something off the buckles and takes a euro. Lee belly to belly suplexes him. Lee is crotched up top and Nigel hits a towel of london cutter for 2. Nigel gets his back and armlocks him.

They trade pin attempts. Lee does a border city stretch. Nigel uses his 2nd ropebreak. Nigel handstands in the corner and takes a facekick. Lee does a border city stretch on him. Nigel uses his last ropebreak. Lee backrolls him and tries to hold onto the ropes but the 2nd ref Paul Turner stops him. Nigel backrolls Lee. Nigel hits a rebound lariat for 2.

Nigel is pulled into the 2nd buckle. Nigel hits a tower of london and thinks he has him pinned but Lee's foot is on the ropes. Lee uses his last ropebreak and neither has a ropebreak left. They trade euros.

Nigel hits a bunch of euros. Lee backslides him for 2 then armlocks him. Lee then does Nigel's rebound lariat for 2. Nigel is in the border city stretch and rolls him up for 2. Lee does a lifting ddt for 2. Lee does a border city stretch on him. Lee uses the ropes for leverage and submits him.

Thoughts: It was a good match here. Nigel used his tricks early on. Shane and Lee called for a 2nd ref and the 2nd ref ended up hurting both of them at times. They both ran out of ropebreaks which played into the finishing stretch as well. It was a random match with Nigel not earning his title shot but with him being an old ROH guy, it was fine. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did and I thought they did a good job here.

ROH World Tag Team Title Double Bullrope Match - The Sons Of Texas (Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara) (c) vs. The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent)

Sammy has his face painted like Dustin and both are wearing street fight gear.

The fight starts as the faces enter. Dutch's head is banged off the steps then Sammy corkscrew dives out on the heels. Dutch tope con hilos the faces. The bullropes still aren't on and Vincent refuses to put it on. Dustin punches and uppercuts Vincent.

Dutch takes a double suplex. Sammy standing moonsaults Dutch. Dustin running shinning wizards Dutch. Dustin ties himself to Dutch and Sammy ties himself to Vincent. The match then officially starts.
The four hockey fight. The faces do double shattered dreams to the heels. Vincent eye rakes and lariats Sammy. Vincent low flatliners Dustin. Dustin takes a senton + legdrop for 2. Sammy superkicks Vincent.  Dustin throws Dutch out. Dustin chairs Dutch outside. Vincent yanks Sammy's ribs into the ropes. Dustin chairs Dutch. Vincent back elbows Sammy. Vincent pounds on Sammy.

Sammy and Vincent crossbody each other at the same time. Dustin hits Dutch with a cowbell and Dutch black hole slams Dustin on the ramp. Dutch pulls out a barbed wire table. Dutch is knocked off the buckles and goes through the barbed wire table outside. Vincent kicks Dustin low. Sammy pounds on Vincent and Vincent hits a sliced bread off the rails. Vincent grabs scissors and frees himself of the bullrope. Vincent hits shots on Dustin. Vincent chokes Dustin around the post with the rope. Sammy saves Dustin.

Sammy superkicks Vincent then hits punches. Sammy plancha's Vincent outside. Sammy does a cutter off the rail. Sammy pulls out another table. Vincent is put on the table. Sammy climbs a ladder and misses a swanton off of it. Sammy ends up going through the table. Dustin gets offense in on Vincent and bulldogs him. Dustin is hit with a cowbell by Dutch and goes down. Dustin takes shots from both heels and gives them the finger. Vincent hits a sliced bread for 2. 

Sammy jumping knees Dutch then cutters him. Sammy crossbodies Vincent over the top rope. Dustin canadian destroyers Dutch. Sammy hits a GTH on Vincent outside. Dustin hits a cowbell shot on Dutch and pins him.

Thoughts: It was your usual hardcore match. We knew what this was going to be going into it and that's what it was. It was fine but not super memorable. No one seemed to have gotten hurt which was good. The Righteous lose yet again though it wasn't a big surprise.

ROH World Television Title Survival Of The Fittest Six Way Elimination Match - Brian Cage (c) vs. Willie Mack vs. AR Fox vs. Mark Davis vs. Komander  vs. Blake Christian

Cage wore christmas themed Juggalo Championship Wrestling gear out which I'm surprised they allowed. Cage gorilla presses AR out onto Kom and Blake early. AR does triple suicide dives out early. Kom top rope corkscrew moonsaults outside. Blake does a nice corkscrew tope outside. Kom goes for a rope walk, gets tripped and takes an apron spear. Blake spiral taps outside.

Cage germans Kom while he germans AR. Cage one arm gorilla presses Kom. Mack pop-up forearms Blake. Mack hits a double samoan drop on Kom and AR. Mack starts hitting stunners on everyone including a top rope stunner on Kom. Cage spinning lariats Mack and pins him. 

Kom goes for a tope and is ddt'd on the apron. AR springboard imploding 450's outside. AR walks up the buckles and seated spanish flies Kom. AR 450's Kom off the top for 2. Cage 2nd rope seated powerbombs AR and pins him. Cage and Mark trade germans. Kom springboard hurricanrana's Mark. Cage F-5's Kom and Blake. Mark enzugiri's Cage. Mark lariats Cage. Mark piledrivers Cage and pins him.

Blake rolls up Mark out of nowhere and pins him. Blake and Kom are the last two. They trade forearms. Kom 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Blake backbreakers him and enzugiri's him. Blake germans him then top rope dropkicks Kom. Kom gets on his back and cobra twists him. Kom is pushed off the top to the outside.

Blake topes Kom under the 2nd buckle. They trade superkicks. Kom dropkicks him off a handspring. Blake standing spanish flies him for 2. Kom walks up the buckles and poisorana's Blake off of them. Kom rope walk corkscrew dives Blake outside.

Kom goes to rope walk and Blake kicks the ref into him. Blake walks up Kom's back and curbstomps him for 2. Blake twisting backdrops Kom off the 2nd rope. Kom springboard canadian destroyers Blake. Kom 619's Blake. Kom rope walk ssp's him and pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and was what you would think it would be. It was a spotty match all throughout with usually only 2 people in the ring at most times. There were lots of impressive spots of course but not a ton of selling or logic. I figure Kom won here as a thank you for all the losses he has eaten and for being AEW's one reliable luchador who is able to actually show up anytime they want.

Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Sho do a video. They say they will be the next challengers for the ROH Tag Titles at Wrestle Dynasty.

ROH World Title Match - Chris Jericho (c) vs. Matt Cardona

Matt earned this shot by never competing in this version of ROH. Matt enters from the street. I'd say a guy wearing wrestling gear outside would be weird in most places, but that's probably a normal day in NYC. It was a creative entrance though. Chris Jericho has The Rocketts out with him and Bryan Keith. CJ comes out to New York, New York and wears a statue of liberty thing on his head.

CJ gives him the finger on a handshake attempt. Matt hits a leg lariat to start for 2. Matt hits mounted punches. CJ's head is banged off the buckles and Matt knee chokes him in the corner. Matt tope con hilos CJ and Bryan Keith outside. Matt's dad piefaces CJ lightly outside then Matt sends CJ into the steps.

CJ's head is banged off the steps. Matt whips CJ with the ROH Title. Bryan Keith tries to stop him and gets hit. CJ is back body dropped onto Bryan. Matt dropkicks both through the ropes. Matt is back body dropped on the ramp. CJ hits mounted shots on Matt then hits chops. Matt hits forearms and is sent chest first into the buckles. CJ baseball slides him. Keither stomps on Matt outside. CJ leg lariats him on the ropes. CJ catapult's Matt's neck into the bottom rope. Keith stands on Matt outside.

CJ yell at Matt's parents and piefaces his dad. CJ pushes Matt into the steps. CJ then grabs a camera and films himself kicking Matt. CJ backdrops Matt on the steps. Matt is sent into the post. CJ boots Matt in the face lightly. 

They trade chops for forearms. CJ hits mounted corner punches on Matt then top rope hurricanrana's him. Matt op rope dropkicks him for 2. CJ lionsaults Matt for 2. Matt spinebusters CJ for 2. They fight on the top rope. CJ superplexes him. Matt tiger drivers him for 2. CJ codebreakers him for 2. They crossbody each other at the same time then boot each other down at the same time.

CJ crabs Matt. Matt cradles him for 2. Matt pushes CJ into Bryan Keith on the apron. CJ blocks a leg lariat then he crabs him. Big Bill comes out and facekicks Matt as he hangs over the apron. Matt codebreakers him. Matt top rope leg lariats CJ but Big Bill gets on the apron.

Bryan Keith hits Matt with the title belt. CJ then gets the win.

Thoughts: It wasn't that great as expected and had tons of shenanigans. It was a pretty average match if we are being honest. I didn't think the logic was that good here as Matt attacked the heels first and Matt's dad also attacked the heels first. Then we were supposed to boo the heels when they gave it back to them.

Bill and Keith stomp on Matt after. Bandido comes out to make the save for some reason. He top rope dropkicks CJ and seems to have hurt himself. Bandido spinebusters Bryan Keith and kicks Bill in the crotch on accident. I think more was supposed to happen but Bill walks off hobbling in pain.

ROH Women's World Title Match - Athena (c) vs. Billie Starkz

Athena wore a Two-Face costume out. They shake hands and neither let go. Ath clubs on her and bangs her head off the buckles. Ath hip throws her. BS hits forearms then hair throws her. BS hits chops and forearms. BS dropkicks her. Ath forward cartwheel forearms her in the corner. BS pump kicks her.

BS goes for an up and over but gets kicked. Ath rolling death valley drivers her and axe kicks her back. Ath hits knees to the face. Ath running back elbows her. Ath flips out of a hiptoss. BS cartwheels out of a move and hits lariats. BS kicks her from the buckles.

Ath blocks a spinning high kick with a stretch muffler. Ath one arm powerbombs her. Ath works her leg. Ath kicks BS in the leg. BS hangs from the 2nd rope by the leg and Ath kicks her in it. BS is on the apron and Ath pulls her down so she lands on the floor. Ath yells at BS' mother and says this is for her. Ath misses a charge into the steps. 

VS gets her head banged off the steps. Ath pop-up powerbombs BS on the floor. Ath stomps on her in the ring for 2. Ath is pulled into the post. BS ddt's her over the 2nd rope. BS lariats her then knees her. BS jumping double knee presses her. BS hits a twisting neckbreaker for 2. BS boots Ath in the face. Ath up kicks her then takes oblivion for 2. BS is up top and gets kicked. Ath 2nd rope fallaway slams her for 2. Ath hits kicks on BS then corner forearms her. Ath springboard twisting crossbodies her. Ath twists her off her shoulder into a ripcord codebreaker. 

BS blocks an o-face then hits a german. Ath backdrops her. BS facekicks her. Ath forearms her. BS spin kicks her and takes a forearm. BS tombstones her. They fight on the apron. BS goes into the turnbuckle connector.

BS alabama slams her on the apron. BS 2nd rope swantons her on the floor. BS hits a piledriver for 2. Ath picks her up like a suplex and throws her out to the floor. Ath then topes her and the ref at the same time. Lexi Nair hands Athen a microphone. BS blocks a shot with it. BS electric chair drivers her for 2. Ath grabs the middle buckle and poisonrana's BS. BS is tripped into the exposed 2nd buckle then Ath hits a top rope o-face to win.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. I thought they did too much here with electric chair drivers, pop-up powerbombs on the floor and alabama slams on the apron. They didn't really lean that much into the friend vs friend storyline much and worked this one like they would anything else. I really don't understand why Athena got the win here. There's no one really left for her to fight and the only person it really serves is Athena....who is on a show that probably less than 1,000 people see anyway.

Overall thoughts: It was a long show and that's ignoring the pre-show which had 4 more matches on it. I didn't like the top 3 matches that much or QT/Jay. Nigel/Moriarty was my favorite thing on here. The bullrope match was okay as well. I was surprised Mark Briscoe was not on this one. It had the usual random matches with no build that ROH usually offers and I don't think it was their best work. It wasn't awful though. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10 and I wouldn't recommend it.

It was announced this week that NXT Level Up is going to be cancelled. There was news about this a month or two ago that was shot down but this is legit. They are going to film the new WWE LFG in its place which is a Tough Enough style show. I'll talk more about it when we get to the last show but I'm pretty disappointed by it.

Blake Howard and Byron Saxton are on commentary.

Keanu Carver vs Joe Coffey

They collide shoulders and KC shoulders him over. Joe hits a nice dropkick. KC throws him out and pushes him into the commentary table. KC rebounds him into the ropes from the outside and takes a forearm. Joe is caught on a 2nd rope twisting crossbody. KC hits a huge fallaway slam.

KC forearms Joe in the back. KC hits a running powerslam for 2. KC holds his arm and lariats him. KC does backbreaker submission on his shoulder. Joe headbutts him then flying lariats him.

Joe hits shots to the gut. They collide and Joe flying shoulders him. KC pounces him from the side. Joe 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Joe hits a flying battering ram and spinning lariats him to win.

Thoughts: It was a good match and couldn't have gone much better than it did. The two had a hard hitting hoss style match here with lots of stiff shots. They really matched up well and got the best out of each other. I'm a big fan of Carver so far and keep waiting for him to make the main show. Joe may have hurt his ribs here.

Lainey Reid is interviewed while having her make-up done. She said she won last week and says she will put a stop to any momentum Kendal Grey thinks she has. Her make-up artist leaves during this and she says she will do her own make-up. She then asks for someone to help her at the end.

Kendal Grey says everyone is sick and tired of hearing how great Reid is. She says Reid is facing someone who knows all about winning. She says she will break her winstreak, take her back to reality and says it's time for Reid to shut her @ss up.

Kendal Grey vs Lainey Reid

Grey rolls her up for 2 to start. Grey waistlock takedowns her. LR pulls the hair and shoves her. Grey does a nice fireman's carry takeover. Grey 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her then hits an armdrag. Grey hammmerlocks her. Grey armlocks her.

Grey tries to crossbody her but LR hits a nice fallaway slam. LR hits knees to the back then running back elbows her. LR meteora's her in the back of the neck on the ropes for 2. LR hits an inverted fireman's carry drop for 2. LR camel clutches her.

Grey hits forearms then running back elbows her. Grey northern lights suplexes her for 2. Grey hits an overhead suplex. LR back rolls her for 2 and hits a pumping knee for the win.

Thoughts: The work was good here. The two really moved around well and did not look like rookies at all. Grey continues to be super smooth and Reid just gets better by the week.

Reid nails Grey after and stomps her. Carlee Bright comes to save her. Bright codebreakers her. Kali Armstrong comes to help out Reid. Wendy Choo then boots over Carlee. Layla Diggs helps the faces out. The heels are sent out and Reid is pinning heel kicked off the apron. The ref then come to break it up.

Dante Chen is in the back. He says he has become synonymous with the show. He says many stars had their first match with him. He says he's been called The Gatekeeper of NXT. He says he's been proud to be part of the show. He says next week will be the final episode of Level Up. He says he is challenging anyone who wants to compete against him next week in a gauntlet match. He says it's the last chance to test yourself against the gatekeeper of NXT. The show then cuts off before he finishes.

Overall thoughts: The in-ring work was fine but the show officially ending is heartbreaking. Level Up has maybe been my favorite show and it's gone. We got two new matches here and both were fine. Coffey/Carver lived up to its full potential and was a good match. The women were fine in the main too. It was a quick and fun show. Coffey/Carver might be worth a look if you are interested. I enjoyed the show but it's hard to leave this one happy.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

We see clips from SNME. We see various wrestlers arrive.

The Bloodline comes out. Solo says to acknowledge him. He talks about Roman challenging him for the necklace in Tribal Combat. Solo agrees and says lets leave everyone behind. He says he's walking and out as the tribal chief and will still be the head of the table. He says Roman can sail back to the island of irrelevancy and finally acknowledge him. 

Drew McIntyre comes out. Solo says he was happy when Drew kicked Jimmy Uso in the face but he better have a good reason for interrupting him. Drew says he will make it quick as it causes him pain to be this lcose to him and not beat him within an inch of his life. He asks Solo if he stays awake at night wondering when he will come for him. Drew says Solo cost him the WWE Title at Clash at The Castle. He said he caused him misery but stood up to Roman Reigns.

Drew says he should keep working on his hit list and take out more OG Bloodline members. He says Solo should take out Roman for good then they will finish their business after. Jimmy Uso then pulls Drew out and hits him with a crutch. Jimmy knocks him over the rail with it and chases him to the back.

LA Knight, Apollo Crews and Andrade then come out. They fight with Solo, Fatu and Tonga. The faces get the edge and knock the heels out of the ring. 

LA Knight, Apollo Crews and Andrade vs The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga)

Crews hits a big dropkick on Tama then gorilla press slams him. Tama takes a double back elbow. Andrade headscissors Tama out then pulls Fatu out. Andrade and Crews do stereo dives outside. LA teases diving out onnto Solo but Solo backs off.

Fatu hits a flying back elbow on Crews. We go to break and return. Solo is in control of Crews. Fatu slams Crews and goes for the senton but Crews gets his knees up. Andrade flying forearms Fatu. Andrade corner meteora's Fatu for 2. Andrade does a top rope moonsault into a standing moonsault for 2. Andrade is popped-up and goes gut-first into the top rope. Solo pulls him down and sends him into the post. 

Fatu pop-up samoan drops Andrade. We go to PiP break and return. Fatu pounds on Andrade. La lariats Tama over then stomps on him in the corner. LA running knees Tama in the corner. LA jumping neckbreakers Solo. LA backdrops Tama then Crews top rope splashes Tama for 2. Shinsuke Nakamura comes in and flying knees LA over the commentary table.

Crews has Tama in a crossface but Solo breaks it up. Solo corner hip attacks Crews then spinning uranages him. He then hits a samoan spike on Crews and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag. It had 2 breaks which hurt it some. It wasn't great or anything and we didn't get a great finishing section. It did help Crews some though to be in a bigger match than usual and it furthered the Nakamura/Knight feud.

Byron interviews The Motor City Machine Guns. Alex says he's thinking payback tonight. Sabin says Gargano showed who he really is. Alex says Gargano made the biggest mistake of his life. Alex says he needs to do this alone and wants to see if Johnny can fight his own battles.

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven are interviewed by Byron, I believe at SNME. she talks about her title win and says she always knew it would happen. She says this is her night and it's red, white and green (referencing her last name I guess). Byron says she goes down as the first Women's US champ. She says she's in the history books where she belongs. She says she's going to Disney and wants to wrap this up.

We see clips of Owens vs Rhodes from SNME. We see clips from after the show. Owens nails Cody from behind then package piledrivers him. Cody is stretchered out. They said he had cervical swelling and is now home resting.

Kevin Owens then talks afterwards. He has the winged eagle title Cody had. He says what happened was not his fault. He said there's a lot of people to blame for it like the refs, Cody, Aldis and WWE management. He says he was screwed out of the title. He says it was a travesty and tragedy. He says he should be WWE champ but he's not.

He said he took the title because he deserved it. He says he's not taking it back until he gets what he wants. He says you can only push someone too hard until they snap. He said he didn't snap yet and says you don't want him to as it can get so much worse. He says what happens next is on Aldis and the WWE officials.

DIY talk in the back. Ciampa says it's surprising that Alex wants a grudge match with Gargano. Lohnny says he understands. He says he's all man and made a kid. He says Alex wants to do this on his own so Ciampa needs to stay in the back. He says he wants to handle business by himself. He says he will show him he's Johnny Freakin' Wrestling.

The Grayson Waller Effect

Waller says he has scoop after scoop and has a big one tonight. He brings out Braun Strowman. Braun comes out in a Santa hat and vest throwing out shirts to the crowd.

Waller says it's nice of Braun to help the poor people of Hartford out. Waller says he spent a lot of money on the new set. Waller says Braun is intimidating. Waller says Braun should join A-Town Down Under as they'd be untouchable. Waller says it would be "the brain and the braun". Braun gets mad. Carmelo Hayes comes out.

Melo says Aldis thought he would humble him against Braun. He says he wasn't ready and it wasn't fair. He says you can't humble greatness. He says he'll never quit and calls Braun a santa claus b!tch. He says he's ready now. Braun says he'll show him what The Braun Effect is. Braun then throws trees from the set at Melo.

A ref comes out and the match is set.

Carmelo Hayes vs Braun Strowman

Melo hits kicks to the leg and tries to hide behind the ropes. They break on the ropes and Melo hits him. Melo tries to irish whip him and can't. Melo sides out and stalls. Braun chases him around the ring and is kicked when they get in. Melo back springboards into an elbow on him. Melo hits knees and clubs on him. Braun pushes him over.  

Braun throws Melo in. Melo dropkicks Braun in the knee. Braun is body-hurricanrana'd on a chokeslam attempt. Melo poses and Braun recovers behind him. Braun is pulled over the top. Melo tries to do Braun's running around the ring move and takes a big boot.

Melo slaps him. Braun throws him into the ring from the outside and is counted out.

Thoughts: It was a lame finish here but I get it. I thought we were getting close to a countout and that's what we got. It made sense with Melo running away from Braun and hitting kicks to the leg.

Braun chases him into the seats and to the concessions after.

Nia Jax and Candice LaRae walk. Tiffany stratton walks in. She wishes them luck and says she wants to be at ringside for their tag title match. LaRae says it's best if she stays in the back and can take notes on what a championship victory looks like. LaRae says she wants streamers and champagne and tells her to get to work as it's a lot.

Melo runs into Legado del Fantasma while running from Braun. LdF won't tell Braun where he went then Angel says he went that way. Pretty Deadly try to recruit Braun for their musical. Melo then chairs Braun from behind. Melo runs, Braun gets up quick and chases him.

Alex Shelley vs Johnny Gargano

Alex hits punches and bangs his head off the buckles. Alex boots him in the corner. Alex hits corner punches and JG pulls him down face first on the buckle. JG hits chops. Alex 2nd rope knee drops JG's arm. Alex running forearms JG. 

JG backrolls him into a kick. JG boots him in the corner. Alex kicks him from the apron and flying knees him. We go to break and return. JG neckbreakers him on the knee. JG slingshots in and is kicked.

Alex knees him in the gut then kicks him in the back for 2. Alex armbars him. Alex hits a standing shiranui for 2. JG hits forearms. Alex hits chops. JG step up enzugiri's him then superkicks him.

JG battering rams Alex into the 2nd buckle for 2. JG tries the border city stretch but Alex ropebreaks. JG hits Alex over top the ref. Alex flatliners JG into the 2nd rope. Ciampa goes up and distracts Alex on the buckles. Sabin then comes out and chases Ciampa. Alex top rope crossbodies Jg but JG rolls through it and pulls the tights to win.

Thoughts: The crowd wasn't into it at all which is often the norm with Gargano matches. It was about average and nothing too great. JG won by pulling the tights so this is continuing.

Bianca Belair and Naomi are interviewed by Byron. BB says the last few weeks have been rough but she won't let what happened with Jade strip her of the tag titles. Naomi says she has her back forever. She says she knows how important the titles are and says she will do everything she needs to in order to make sure they leave as champs. BB gives her a title to hold but she says, "not until I earn it".

WWE Women's Tag Titles - Bianca Belair and Naomi vs Nia Jax and Candice LaRae

CL = Candice LaRae

This is for the vacant titles as Jade Cargill is out.

CL piefaces BB then elbows her out of the corner. BB gorilla presses CL but CL escapes the slam. Nia is tagged in. Tiffany Stratton is watching in the back. BB flying dropkicks Nia and Nia misses an elbow drop. BB hand springmoonsaults while Naomi does a split drop.

Naomi takes a pop-up headbutt from Nia for 2. We go to PiP break and return. BB does some kind of tilt-a-whirl breaker on CL. BB takes a codebreaker variation into a samoan drop for 2. Nia pulls BB's arms back. 

Nia pulls on BB's hair. CL grabs BB from the apron. Nia cobra clutches BB. BB is held in the air for a missile dropkick from CL. CL walks off Nia's back and sentons BB for 2. They mess up some spot where Nia is supposed to hit CL.

Naomi flying lariats and flying euros Nia. Naomi springboard kicks Nia. Naomi 2nd rope facebusters Nia for 2. Nia misses a corner charge and Naomi misses a split-legged moonsault. Naomi powerbombs Nia while she's on the buckles. Nia gets busted open and BB hits a top rope 450 on Nia for 2.

Tiffany Stratton comes down with the MITB briefcase. CL 2nd rope tornado ddt's BB for 2. Nia asks Tiff for the MITB briefcase. The ref catches her. BB handspring kicks Nia off the apron then dives on her outside. CL cradles Naomi for 2. Naomi pumping knees CL then hits a split-legged moonsault for the win.

Thoughts: It was just average. It does continue the storyline with LaRae/Nia/Tiff having problems though. Nia got busted open somehow during this one. 

Overall thoughts: It was a decent show overall but nothing was that great here. The opener was maybe the best match but that was not saying much on this. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 but you don't really need to see this one.

Maika blocks takedowns. Matoi is on top on the mat and headscissors her. Matoi armbars her. Matoi side headlock takeovers her and is put in a headscissors. Matoi headflips out. Maika claps for her.

Matoi hits dropkicks. Maika corner lariats her and shoulders her over. Matoi hits chest forearms and Maika forearms her over. Matoi hits more chest forearms then dropkicks her. Matoi hits another dropkick for 2.

Matoi hits chest forearms and Maika forearms her over. Matoi hits mounted forearms. Maika powerslams her. Matoi sunset flips her then shoulders throws her. Maika lariats her for 2 then hits an enka otoshi for the win.

Thoughts: It was a long rookie vs vet match. Matoi isn't great at these things as she's not the most fiery or the fastest worker. There was a lot of repetition here. Matoi got a lot in.

Lady C & Tomoka Inaba vs. Waka Tsukiyama & Rian 

TI = Tomoka Inaba

C wants a test of strength. Rian tries to climb on her knee to reach her hand. Rian foot stomps her. C blocks an armdrag then ends up taking one. C shoulders her over. C takes a double hip attack on the ropes then takes hip attacks from both opponents. C catches Rian's crossbody and giant swings her.

TI snapmares and kicks Rian in the back. C chops Rian in the corner. C knee drops Rian for 2. Rian has feet put in her face and neck in the corner. Rian hits chest forearms on TI. TI stomps on Rian's back then Rian crossbodies her. Waka comes in and dropkicks TI.

Waka hip attacks her on the ropes for 2. TI gut punches her then kicks her down. C shoulders Waka over. C cobra twists Waka then side slams her. Waka sunset flips C off the buckles then C takes a oduble back elbow. Waka shotei's C and Rian crossbodies C. Waka butt drops C for 2.

Rian cutters C then Waka straightjacket codebreakers C for 2. C flying neckbreakers Waka. Waka backslides her for 2. C facekicks Waka twice then dominators her to win.

Thoughts: It was a little better than expected. Rian got to show a little more usual and C did more than usual as well. TI didn't get a ton in here. It was an okay midcard match.

Mayu Iwatani, Hazuki, Koguma & Momo Kohgo vs. Natsuko Tora, Konami, Saya Kamitani & Ruaka

Momo backrolls Saya into a headscissors but Saya escapes it. Momo backrolls her into a basement dropkick. Saya dropkicks her. Everyone fights outside. Mayu and Momo take rides into the seats. Tora choke san opponent with a towel in the seats.

Saya snapmares Momo and chinlocks her. Tora suplexes Momo then sentons her. Momo is double foot choked in the corner. Momo does chest forearms on Kon then is forearmed over. Momo dropkicks her. Haz comes in and tornado ddt's Kon.

We get a 4 girl facewash kick spot. Mayu forearms Kon over then is fisherman suplexed for 2. Mayu takes corner attacks and Ruaka fisherman suplexes Mayu for 2. Ruaka takes a double 619 and double basement dropkick.

Ruaka escapes a triple team. Mayu takes a double basement dropkick. Mayu then takes a double south of heaven chokeslam for 2. Kon and Saya take stereo over the 2nd rope ddt's on the apron. Ruaka is lifted and takes a multi-person facebuster. Mayu germans her for 2.

Ruaka lariats Mayu over. Mayu no sells it and superkicks her. Mayu is thrown into a corner dropkick on Ruaka. Mayu top rope moonsaults Rauka to win.

Thoughts: This was better than I expected. It was fast. The heels didn't overdo it too much with the cheating and we had some good multi-person spots. We barely saw a lot of the girls in this one though.

Saya chases Kog around outside after.

International Women's Cup Representative Determination 4 Way Battle - Round 1: Saki Kashima vs. Hanan vs. Yuna Mizumori vs. Momo Watanabe

Han did a release cuty special on Momo and did a dive off the top to the outside. Yuna dove off the apron on Han. Han had the pin at one point but Thekla came out in a disguise, pulled the ref out and fought with her outside. Momo then ended up pinning Yuna. It was what  you would expect with a fast pace and usually just 2 people in the ring for most of this one.I just though it was average though.

Han did a promo on Thek after. Han then seemed to ask one of the Stardom heads for some kind of match. Momo then got on the mic. Then then called Han and the Stardom head "sh!t".

International Women's Cup Representative Determination 4 Way Battle - Round 1: Syuri vs. Saya Iida vs. Ranna Yagami vs. Fukigen Death★ 

Death does her pose to start things then takes corner attacks for it. 3 of the girls hit armdrags early and Saya hits a double basemnet dropkick. Saya hits a diving shoulder off the apron. Saya sliding back elbows Ran and elbow drops her. Death tries to do her pose and Ran interrupts it with a dropkick. Syu then shotgun dropkicks Death.

Syu hits a double ddt. Death eye pokes Syu and sends her out. Ran hits chest kicks on Saya then Saya double chops her over. Death rolls up Saya and Ran at the same time on a pin attempt. Saya suplexes Death and Ran. Syu armbars Ran. Death hits Syu with a newspaper while she does it.

Saya diving shoulders Ran. Syu kicks Ran in the back then Saya lariats Syu and Ran. Syu running knees Saya through the ropes then flying knees Saya off the apron. Death cradles Ran for 2 and cradles Syu for 2. Ran leg lariats Saya and Death takes a codebreaker from Syu. Saya takes a double kick to the front and back. Syu germans Saya and Ran rolls Syu up for 2.

Syu high kicks Ran. Syu then does an emerald flowsion variation on Ran and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't as fast as you would think and didn't really pick up until the end. Death screwed around the whole match. Syu winning wasn't much of a surprise. It was average.

Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara vs. Starlight Kid, Mei Seira, Suzu Suzuki, AZM & Miyu Amasaki 

Everyone fights to start and everyone but Aya and Suzu go out. Suzu knees Aya in the face. Suzu ends up taking a 5 person basement dropkick. Aya spinning heel kicks Suzu in the corner. Suzu slams her. Suzu drive by kicks Aya. Kid springboard crossbodies Aya. Aya takes a double running kick then Kid is popped up for a splash on her.

AZM corner dropkicks Aya. Mei then hair throws Aya. Mei hits corner dropkicks on Aya. Mei chest forearms Aya down. Aya chest kicks Mei down. Anou top rope dropkicks Mei. Tam comes off the top and hits a double crossbody. We get a 4 girl spot then Tam and Anou hit Mei and Suzu on the ropes.  

Mei springboard dropkicks Anou. AZM PK's Anou and basement dropkicks her. Anou step up enzugiri's AZM. AZM 2nd rope dropkicks Anou. Miyu flying back elbows Anou for 2. Sayaka comes in and hits dropkicks on Miyu. She slams her. Sayaka 2nd rope dropkicks Miyu for 2. Sayaka is back rolled and takes a high/low. Miyu pendulum ddt's Sayaka for 2.

Sayaka hits chest forearms on Miyu then fishermans neckbreakers her. Miyu tornado ddt's her. Kid dropkicks Poi in the kne then Poi goes for the amrbar. Kid stretch muflfers her and Poi ropebreaks. Kid standing moonsaults on Poi's leg.

Kid takes a double dropkick in the corner. Poi top rope crossbodies Kid then armbars her. We get some fast paced action from various girls coming in and out. Poi and Tam do stereo plancha's off the top outside.

Kid takes kicks from opponents then a 5 person axe kick. Poi armbars Kid. Kid ropebreaks. Poi misses a top rope 180 and takes offense for it. Kid hits a 180 splash off the top on Poi for 2. Kid tries to top rope moonsault Poi but Poi gets her knees up. Kid stretch mufflers her and it is broken up. Kid top rope moonsaults Poi for 2.

Poi la magistral's Kid for 2. Poi headscissors drops Kid into an armbar and Kid taps out.

Thoughts: It got enough time and it was an entertaining 10-person tag. It was fast paced as expected. We got some different spots than usual and I felt like Kid and Poi gave full effort here.  

Kid and Poi talk on the mic after and go face to face. Poi holds her title up at her. Sayaka and Tam then get on the mic.

Thoughts: It was a good show. The main was good which helped things out. We had some 4-ways that broke up the usual endless tag matches on these sows and provided some variety. They kept the pace fast all night long and gave you enough but not too much in the matches. The main was the best thing on here. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. You don't need to see it, but it's one of the better Stardom house shows.
