GCW Bloodsport 4/4/19 - Pancrase Rules, No Ropes - Josh Barnett vs Minoru Suzuki
This was interesting but not too great. The announcers were pretty bad, and they really weren't needed at all for something like this. They went to a 20 minute draw then went to another draw after 5 additional minutes.
It really didn't have much of the progression from start to finish that you would want and there wasn't much story here. I thought the spot where Suzuki went to the outside hurt the match the first time and continued to hurt it the second time. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why they didn't bust out the slaps and palm strikes until minute 19 of 20. Everyone loved that. I also have no idea what the purpose of the time limit draw was unless they are trying to build to another match.
This wasn't an MOTYC and wasn't even great shoot style, but it was a curiosity and something different.
