MLW Fusion 9/5/2026 Kings of Colosseum

MLW Middleweight Title Match - Templario (c) vs. Diego Hill

Hill side headlocks Temp and Temp shoulders him over. Hill dropkicks him out of the ring. Hill flying space tiger dropkicks him outside. Hill top rope crossbodies Temp for 2. Hill corner lariats him and takes a corner flying forearm. Hill corkscrew kicks him and flying knees him.

Hill springboard corner spin kicks him in the face. Hill phoenix splashes him but only hits the legs for 2. They fight on the ramp and Temp powerbombs him over the top rope into the ring. Temp rope walk springboard splashes him for 2. 

Temp slams him for 2 then stomps him. Temp powerslams him. Temp goes up top and is hit. Hill top rope hurricanrana's him down for 2. Hill os cutters him for 2. Hill misses a top rope 450. Temp powerbomb backbreakers him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one too much. Hill was back to being a bit sloppy and they really didn't get the basics down that well here.

Rich Bocchini talks to Don Gato and Jesus Rodriguez after. Gato says through Jesus that this is one of the best nights of his night. CONTRA Unit of Ikuro Kwon and Okumura come out. Okumura says Kwon wants a title shot. Kwon red mists Jesus.

They go over the MLW Opera Cup tournament matches. The Opera Cup begins next week.

We get a graphic about a Taboo Tag Team Tango, which I assume is where the heels and faces team up.

Matt Riddle is interviewed. Matt says Killer Kross wouldn't be MLW champ if it wasn't for him. Matt says Kross owes him. Matt says he wants to face Brick Savage anytime and he's "bricked up" for it.

Lady Frost vs Corinne Joy

Jazzy Yang is with Joy.

Lady takes her down and pounds on her. Lady hits shots to the gut and head. CJ boots her out of the corner and dropkicks her. Lady flying lariats her. Lady boots her around and throws her down backwards. Lady then kneels on her to try and pin her. 

Lady clubs CJ's back. CJ euros her and superkicks her in the gut. CJ poses and is hit from behind. Lady pulls CJ's arms around the ropes and chinlocks her. Lady stomps on her in the corner. 

Lady pump kicks her and sends her out. Lady boots her through the ropes. Lady superkicks her inside then cartwheel air raid crashes her. Lady then pins her.

Thoughts: It was basically a squash. Lady didn't do a lot of her more flashier stuff here and mostly just hit boots. It was average. Joy didn't get to do all that much here to show off.

Lady hits mounted shots on her after. Shotzi comes in to stop it. She throws Lady onto the ramp

Josef Samael says Matt Riddle lives a life without cause and has no purpose greater than himself. He asks what happens when the road disappears beneath his feet. He says there's lessons only pain can teach. He says Matt will learn soon from Brick Savage.

Dijak talks to Josh Bishop and says they will run out and do a sneak attack. Josh tells him to stay in the back. Dijak says him and Bishop Dyer know what they are doing. Josh says he's going to win the MLW title and Dijak says he needs to listen to him. We then see Killer Kross smiling behind a door.

Big Damo vs. Andrew Everett

AE dropkicks him and Damo through him down backwards. AE comes off the top and then headflips on the landing. Damo crossbodies him. Damo fish hooks him. AE is thrown hard into the buckles. Damo pop up slams him then elbow drops him. 

Damo elbows him in the face. AE back elbows him out of the corner. AE 2nd rope dropkicks him and Damo doesn't sell it much. AE springboards at him. Damo doesn't sell it much and sentons him. Damo hits a nasty lifting reverse ddt/reverse suplexes him and AE lands on his head. Damo pins him.

Thoughts: It was all squash as expected. Damo didn't sell AE's offense much. AE took a nasty bump for the finish.

The Good Brothers are in Japan. Doc says winning the tag titles 10 times is special. Doc says he knows Josh Bishop will take on Killer Kross. He wonders why of The Skyscrapers they will fight but he says who cares. Doc says they are coming for them. Doc says the recipe works so well as it's a magic killer, a just 2 sweet and a 1-2-3.

MLW World Heavyweight Title No Holds Barred Match - Killer Kross (c) vs. Josh Bishop

JB throws him in the corner then hits forearms and clubs. JB chops KK and hits corner spears. JB hits corner splashes. KK takes a snake eyes. JB pulls off a turnbuckle pad. 

JB chops him in the corner. JB hits headbutts. JB is sent into the exposed buckle twice. JB is busted open and KK pounds on the cut. Kk hits mounted shots then he stomps on his head. JB overhead suplexes him. JB lariats him over the top. 

JB chokes KK with a broom outside. JB grabs a toolbox but is forearmed. KK headbutts him and forearms him. KK hits him in the head with a trash can lid. JB tells him to do it again. JB no sells it but gets dropped with the next shot. 

JB sprays him with a fire extinguisher. Both guys try to take off the ring apron. KK chairs him. KK puts a chair around JB's neck and puts the chair legs into the post. We go to break and return. 

The ring is exposed and KK is back body dropped onto it. JB nails KK with the MLW Title. JB chokeslams him for 2. JB grabs him by the head and yells at him. JB puts a small table upside down on two open chair seats. KK backdrops JB through it.

KK grabs the mic. He puts the belt on the ropes. He tells JB to go get the belt if he wants to hit him with it. KK then puts him in a choke sleeper while JB goes for the belt. JB is out and KK wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent bout. They had some weapons spots, Josh bled and they didn't do a lot of big moves or take big bumps. Josh also went through part of a table here. I liked the finish and thought it was something different. 

They shake hands after. 

The Taboo Tag Team Tangle match will have Killer Kross and Josh Bishop vs Austin Aries and Mistico.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual MLW show for the most part. Hill/Templario could have been a little cleaner and better. We had 2 squashes in a row. The main was fine with Josh Bishop bleeding all over the place and Josh/Kross having a mostly safe hardcore bout. I'd give the show a higher 5 out of 10. It was acceptable.
