WWE Main Event 1/2/2013 Review

Cesaro came out to complain about his music video as it didn't have classical music and Miz interrupted. He told him to take his "swiss miss hot chocolate and watches" and "call Swiss Air and get on the first flight out of here".

They then showed a Khali music video.

Natalya jumped in during a interview and said Khali reminds her of Bret and Khali and Natalya led a USA chant, even though none of them are from there.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Great Khali for the U.S. title

"USA, USA"

Cesaro won with a Gotch-Style Neutralizer. Decent match here with a cool finish. My only problem was that Khali completely forgot to sell his legs after Cesaro worked over them. This is probably Khali's best match ever and just another example of how good Cesaro is. Rating:**1/2

Miz and Cesaro argued about America and Miz came to the defense. He said America comes together and Cesaro can bet his man purse on it. Miz then had everyone say "America is AWESOME".

"I was like GI Miz over there. Wheres my 2 by 4? Hooo!" - Miz

Dr. Michael Sampson of WWE said CM Punk was okay to wrestle on Monday.

They interviewed Kofi and he said Wade's win against him was a one time thing.

Kofi said he has to have the title back because its a part of him.

Wade said the title didn't belong to a gymnast like Kofi. He challenged anyone to a gauntlet match tonight.

Non-Title - Wade Barrett in a gauntlet against Yoshi Tatsu, JTG, Justin Gabriel and Kofi Kingston

Yoshi didn't last 5 seconds as he ate a Bull Hammer quick. Well, 5 seconds is longer than he's been on TV in a month, so it's a minor win for me.

JTG lasted 3 minutes before the Bull Hammer.

Justin Gabriel cleared out Barrett quick then we went to break.

"Don't come this way son." - Kofi

Wade won with a Bull Hammer in a good match then Kofi got in. Wade and Gabriel was worth a look with Gabriel taking a sick drop on his neck from the apron.

Kofi got the win with an TIP kick in 30 seconds.
Next week is Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler.

Overall thoughts: Good show this week with Cesaro being good and Gabriel/Wade being very good.
