WWE Main Event 12/26/2012 Review

WWE Main Event 12/26/2012 Review

Last week's show is here:

20-Man Battle Royale for title shot the United States Title
Miz and Cesaro argued mostly over the mic the whole time. It was quite annoying and brought down the match.
Yoshi was the first out here and 3MB got into it with Gabriel and Kidd.
Yep, Ted Dibiase in a rare appearance above!
By this point, we are past the second commercial break and I'm pretty bored. I've seen few good battle royales (not counting rumbles) and those were Toryumon Dragon Scrambles.

It came down to Wade and Khali with Khali winning.

This was bad. Definite worst match of the year contender. It went 22+ and was completely boring. Cesaro is a miracle worker but I don't even think he can carry Khali. Poor Cesaro...

Cesaro shook hands with Khali after:

Cesaro decked Khali after an interview backstage and they talked in foreign tongues to each other. Then Khali said, "Happy New Year, See you next week" with a translation from Cole.

They then did some long recaps. There was atleast 10 minutes of them.

Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel vs Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre
Cole said plans for the 3MB single are on hold.
Heath tried to pretend that he lost his voice and did a bad job of it. They said Gabriel landed on his throat on Raw and it injured it.

Miz called Kidd and Gabriel "The New Rockers".
Kidd got the pin on Jinder after a double team blockbuster where Gabriel held Jinder up and Kidd hit the move. Not a good one here. 3MB has a ceiling to their talents and the ceiling isn't very high unfortunately. Drew is the worker of the group but Jinder and Heath bring him down and in this gimmick, he doesn't get to show what he can do. This went too long also.

Overall thoughts: Bad show. 2 not good and overtly long matches. Maybe the worst episode of Main Event yet.
